"Hey Gajeel it's me. You know I hate when you go dark like this without giving me a heads up. Please call me when you get this" Natsu ended the call with a sigh.

"Still nothing" he looked up to see Wendy, Skyler, and Jax standing next to him.

"Yea. I'm seriously getting worried" Natsu muttered.

"The hell you complaining about Flamebrain" the resident Ice Mage grumbled behind the pinkettes. Natsu just muttered something about Gray being annoying.

"You alright Natsu" Lucy sat next to the 19yr old dragon on the couch"

"Yea, just worried about Gajeel 's all" he said with another sigh, "I haven't heard from him in two days"

"He's probably just busy with that job he took" Lucy said, trying to be reassuring.

"I doubt it" Wendy muttered.

"Why's that Wendy" Erza questioned.

"On every job Gajeel takes, on his own or with another team, he calls Natsu everyday. Unless he has to go dark or wont be able to then he gives one of us a heads up before. But he didn't this time and that's worrying" Skyler, Wendys older sister, explained, pulling her pale pink hair over her shoulder.

A bang brought the group of nines attention to the main doors. There Lily stood in his battle form, covered in dried blood and wounds. He only managed to take a few steps into the guild before he fell to his knees. Normally if he collapsed he'd poof back to his small form but that didn't happen this time. Wendy didn't waste anytime running to the exceed with the other eight right behind her. Immediately she set to healing him with Skyler and Natsus' help.

"Lily where's Gajeel" Jax, Wendy and Skylers' little brother, crouched in front of the exceed.

"I don't know. They took him, I just barely got away" he panted.

"Where" Natsu questioned.

"The forest... Just east of Clover"

"Jax, Winter you two stay here. The rest of us are going after Gajeel" Natsu ordered.

One train ride later Natsus' team stood in front of the town mayor. The old man explained the job he gave Gajeel, which was to track down some missing kids. The kids had gone missing after they went into the east forest. So the forest is where they started their search. By the time the sun started going down they hadn't found anything or anyone.

"I'm getting a really bad feeling about this place" Skyler muttered, Natsu and Wendy grumbled an agreement. The group stopped by a sketchy looking pond to let the three humans catch their breath, from keeping up. A deep rumble echoed through the trees, the three dragons recognized that rumble as a dragons call. And that dragon was Gajeel.

"What the hell was that" the three dragons didn't bother answering the Ice Mage. Instead letting out their own calls to answer Gajeels'. The three calls echoed through the forest. They waited and maybe thirty seconds later they got a response. The dragons took off toward the source, the three exceeds, Happy, Carla, and Snow, had to pick up the other three just so they didn't lose the running dragons in the trees. They came to a stop about a foot from a dark hole in the stone cliff face, metal bars covered the hole.

"Gajeel" Natsu gripped one of the bars. From the darkness appeared Gajeels' face, dried blood trailed from a cut on his cheek. There was pure relief in his ruby red eyes as he placed his hand over Natsus'.

"Is Lily okay" he asked.

"He's back at the guild. Jax and Winter are taking care of him" Wendy answered.

"Good" the 20yr old sighed, "Though we got another problem". A groan sounded behind him, "I'm not the only one trapped in here. Laxus, Cobra, their team, and all the kids that've gone missing from town are in here too"

"Wait why're Laxus and Cobra here" Skyler butted in.

"I don't know, they're not awake for me to ask them" the bang of a metal door echoed from behind Gajeel who snapped his head around.

"There's another way in, hurry" the nine outside rushed off. Gajeel locked onto the door as a man the same size and build as him burst through. The Cave Dragon glared at the human whom charged at him. They fought for a minute 'til Gajeel shoved the guy back toward the door. A blast of fire hit the guy in the back and he burst into flames. The flames died down to reveal Natsu while he broke the seal on the room, Gajeel finally allowed himself to relax a bit as Natsu wrapped his arms around him and his arms wrapped around the pinkettes' shoulders.

"Are you okay" the 19yr old pulled away to check his boyfriend for any serious wounds.

"Yea, I'm alright" Wendy and Skyler rushed onto the room, immediately running to check Laxus and Cobra. Bothe men had a very weak pulse, they were dieing. Gajeel explained that they are being drained of their magic. Happys' voice spoke in Natsus' mind, telling him he and the other exceeds found some lacrima.

"Happy may've found where y'alls magic is going" the Solar flare dragon spoke up. Bixslow and Freed helped Laxus and Cobra walk to where their magic was. Stormie and Yumi -Laxus and Cobras' exceeds- were carried by Lucy. They entered a room with dozens of larimas and Happy, Carla, and Snow flouting in front of the largest three. Bixslow and Freed set the two dieing dragons against the wall.

"If we break the lacrima, they should get all their magic back" Wendy muttered. Her, Natsu and her sister each charged their magic, then blasted all the lacrimas. Every orb in the room cracked before breaking into pieces. Yellow, green and red light orbs flouted up from the broken pieces, then zipped to Laxus, Gajeel, and Cobra respectively. Their eyes glowed their magic color then faded, leaving Laxus and Cobra gasping for breath.

"Shit, that fuckin' sucked" Laxus said coughing.

"C'mon, lets get outta here and these kids home" Natsu said after the two 22yr olds breathing leveled out. The trek back to town felt longer in the dark. When the group got back to town in was empty except for a few night owls walking around. The group took the missing kids to the mayors' office, who set them up in one of the hotels.

Getting to their room, Skyler, Wendy, and Natsu set to healing the other three dragons. Their wounds weren't too bad, a few cuts here and there. Almost an hour passed and everyone was asleep, everyone except Natsu and Gajeel. The Solar flare and Cave Dragons stood on the balcony, the glass door behind them just barely open.

"Don't fucking scare me like that" Natsu muttered into the other mans shoulder, his arms wrapped around Gajeels torso.

"I'm sorry. Ya know I hate making you worry about me" the ravenette whispered into his pink hair, his own arms locked around his shoulders.

"I'm your mate, I'm always worried about you" the Alpha countered.
