When I watched the first episode of Hazbin Hotel, I couldn't help but feel sorry for poor Tom Trench when being abused by Katie Killjoy when she poured scalding hot coffee on his groin. Poor guy! I agree that he needs a better boss! Let's get started on the story, shall we? Enjoy!

One evening in Pentagram City, Hell, Katie Killjoy was smoking in her office after filming was over. Tom Trunch picked up some medical bills from the hospital, so that he can have Katie look over them.

Katie nonchalantly smoked her cigarette until she heard a knock on her office door. "What do you want?" she demanded.

"I'm your co-host, Katie," Tom Trench said.

She sighed, knowing who it was. "Alright," she grumbled and he opened the door, but this time, he was not alone. A couple of doctors were right behind him.

"Hey Katie, I need you to look over these medical bills for the last newscast," Tom announced.

"Oh, I know what it's about," she replied angrily. "I'm not paying for your burnt dick and you can't make me, you son of a bitch!"

Now Tom Trench was getting mad and tired of her abuse. "Be careful who you're talking to behind me. I told them everything and I'm sick of your bullshit."

Katie Killjoy gasped. "Tom! I…"

"I disagreed with your condescending remarks towards Charlie!" Tom snapped, "You know what? Now that I think of it, her Happy Hotel is a great idea, after all! That's right! If you fire me, I'll sue you! You can't fire me because I quit, BITCH!"

Katie's jaw dropped, not believing he'd say something like that.

"We're calling the police, Miss Killjoy," Tom's doctor said to Katie, just as angry as Tom.

"But what about…" Tom said.

"We'll cover your medical bills," the doctor interrupted. "But right now, I have an important phone call to make."

Minutes later, the police arrived and arrested Katie Killjoy, much to Tom's satisfaction.

"We covered you bills, Tom," the second doctor told him. "So what do you plan to do now?"

"Well, I've been thinking about staying at Charlie's hotel," Tom replied.

"Good choice, Tom!" a familiar voice shouted happily. It was Charlie.

"She's sweet," the first doctor said with a chuckle.

"Tom, you are going to love it at my hotel!" Charlie beamed.

"I took it into consideration, since I quit my job because of Katie's abuse." He told her, Alastar, Angel Dust, Cherri Bomb, and Vaggie everything between him and Katie.

"Not to worry, my friend!" Alastar said to Tom as he took him by the hand. "I'll take you under my wing!"

"Me, too!" said Charlie.

"Charlie!" Vaggie shouted.

"Vaggie, he's been through a lot lately and I can't leave him stranded. So please, give him a chance. He deserves better."

Vaggie thought for a moment before she said, "You're right, Charlie. Considering that he needs a better boss and it's you."

Charlie hugged her. "Oh, Vaggie! What would I do without you?"

Vaggie smiled as she patted her on the back.

"He's cool," Angel Dust said, referring to Tom.

"I know, right?" Cherri Bomb agreed.

"Hey Husk, we're back!" Angel Dust said to the winged cat flirtatiously.

"Hey you," Husk said to Tom, "Want some booze?"

"I'll pass," Tom replied politely.

"Well, your loss," Husk huffed.

"Now, Husk," Alastar said, "Tom was being polite."

Husk only rolled his eyes and scoffed.

Just then, a little girl bounced over to Tom. "Hello, what's your name?"

"Tom Trench," Tom answered.

"My name's Nifty," Nifty said and shook his hand. "Pleasure to meet you, Mr. Trench."

Charlie offered Tom a comfy chair and Tom sat on it. "Make yourself at home, Tom."

Alastar handed Tom a cup of coffee and Alastar sipped his. Tom carefully sipped his coffee in case he got another burn on his lap. He'd been lucky it healed after a few days after his doctors checked on him and covered the medical bills when Katie Killjoy refused. Thankfully, she lost her job and was fired, so she couldn't do anything to him now.

After coffee, Alastar asked, "Tom, do you want to dance? It's going to be entertaining."

"Sure."

Alastar took him by the hand and everyone at the hotel started to dance. Suddenly, Sir Pentious and his Egg Bois joined in.

"Nice moves, Boss," one of the Egg Bois said.

"Thank you," Sir Pentious said as he continued to dance.

"No problem!"

"This is going to be a happy hotel after all!" Charlie cheered as she danced.

"Yeah!" Nifty shouted as she danced with Charlie and Vaggie.

AN: I'll admit that I forgot about little Nifty, especially when I wrote about Sir Pentious' redemption. Maybe I'll include her in the next Hazbin Hotel story.
