Agent Woo had been gathering all the details from Monica when Dr Strange and his sorcerer associate Wong entered through a portal.
"He's here.."
Strange stated as he frowned to Wong who nodded his agreement
"I can feel the tear in reality.. we need to fix it before he can reclaim his powers.."
Strange looked to Monica as he began to question her.
She relayed the information that she had given Agent Woo and Strange frowned from the news of Wanda bearing children.
"We must get inside"
Strange stated but was shocked as he heard Monica shout out at him
"You cant get passed the barrier! it's like being ripped to shreds"
she held her arms around her body, as if to remind herself that she were unharmed.
Strange nodded his understanding and began twirling his hand around as a portal opened, stating
"We have other modes of entry"
and with that he and Wong left.
Vision had only just gotten up to carry on with the search of Tommy and Billy when a circle of golden light appeared before him, he held a battle stance as he watched the two men exit the portal.
"Vision I assume?"
The taller man had asked and Vision slowly nodded as he replied
"Who are you?"
Vision had kept his stance as he eyed the two strangers.
"I am Doctor Stephen Strange and this is my associate Wong"
Dr Strange smiled at Vision and Vision lowered his stance as he nodded
"What are you doing here?"
Vision was now cautious of the two new beings as he remembered that this was an alternate World that Wanda had created and could be destroyed if someone deemed it unworthy of surviving.
"We need to find Wanda, something strange is happening in our reality and it might have something to do with this one"
Strange frowned as he watched Visions demeanor tighten
"She is.. well we are.. looking for our children, they have been taken.."
Visions eyes gazed to the floor
Strange nodded as he suddenly realised how things were starting to make sense.
"We need to find Wanda"
He stated coolly and Vision nodded as he led them to where he could sense Wanda, her worried mind screaming as he felt her presence in the World.
Wanda was currently in the outer skirts of Westview, weaving her powers around the forest as she searched for her lost children when the voice of Vision and someone that she recognised pulled her from her thoughts
"Wanda.."
Vision touched down next to her, his face looked defeated and she smiled sadly as she layed a hand over his cheek
"I know"
her smile faded as she heard the voice of Dr Strange
"Miss Maximoff, we need to ask you some questions"
his voice was sincere as he too touched down next to the couple and Wong appeared from a portal.
"How did you get in here? Why are you here?"
her voice was frantic with panic and fear as she looked at the sorcerers, she took Visions hand and held it tightly as fear of him leaving her again seeped into her mind.
"Something is wrong and we need your help.. both of you"
Strange looked to both of them, he noted how Wanda's demeanor looked more of a cat pushed into a corner as her eyes became wild and decided to word things gently.
"What's happened?"
Vision asked, curiosity the driving force.
"An evil entity is trying to regain power over our world and we fear that he might be hiding in this world, feeding off of your power"
Strange was straight to the point.
"Tell us Wanda, how did you create this world and how does Vision hold an infinity stone?"
Wong asked and Wanda scoffed as she replied
"Well someone was actually willing to help me, unlike the rest of the World that thought it be best to decapitate Vi-.. anyway, he gave me the stone and said that Vision can live only in this reality"
Wanda had now crossed her arms over her chest, cursing herself at the near slip up of Visions decapitation.
Strange looked ever more confused as he asked
"How did you get the mind stone? Thanos had destroyed it"
Wanda frowned at that statement
"No.. he.."
she didnt know if that were true
"Who gave it to you?"
Wong now asked
"A man.. he said his name was..."
shs began to think, her memory failing her
"Me... me.."
"Mephisto"
Strange stated matter-of-factly
"No, it was Memphis"
Wanda corrected him and Strange and Wong sighed
"Its Mephisto.. we need to find him"
Strange looked to Wanda and Vision again as he asked
"Do your children hold any powers?"
They nodded
"Tommy is fast.. kind of like Pietro and Billy has some magical gifts like me"
Wanda replied
Strange and Wong frowned as they began to open a portal, the chances of Mephisto using the children to be very likely.
Wanda and Vision followed through the portal and to Wanda's surprise, they had left Westview, in a panic she turned to Vision holding her hands on his chest as she attempted to push him back in the portal.
"No! Viszh you have to go back! you- you cant survive without the alternate reality!"
She had now began crying and Vision could only lay a hand on her cheek, wiping the tears away, a frown on his face as he watched how quickly she broke.
Strange placed a hand on Wanda's shoulder, a sad smile escaping his lips as he spoke
"I wouldn't have allowed Vision to leave if it were dangerous.. did the man that ga e you the stone say this to you?"
Strange was very sincere in his words, and thankfully it did calm Wanda as she began to sniffle.
A nod was the response and Strange frowned even more, he wasnt sure how to explain this to Wanda but he needed to try.
"Ok, can you both sit"
Two chairs magically alleared behind the couple and they both sat down.
"I dont know what Mephisto is after, but it looks to have something to do with your powers"
Strange stated and Wanda and Vision nodded.
"My theory is.. and please try to hold in any anger, sadness, emotions that can cause mayhem.. as this is only a theory, but I need you both to understand just what Mephisto is and how he works"
Strange watched them, noting they both seemed to understand and then continued
"Mephisto had been lurking the other realms that surround this one, he had not been powerful enough to break into our realm, or atleast that's what we thought, but the chances are that he managed to break through in an alternate timeline, retrieve the mind stone and somehow got it to you, stating that you needed to leave this realm and create your own world so that you wouldn't see the harm that he would cause and that's probably why he said Vision wouldn't survive outside that world.. that is a theory that probably has some contradictions but I believe that after he retrieved the stone, he knew the magic that closely resembled his is Wanda's.. your.. Chaos magic is something that Mephisto wants and I believe that he is going to use your children to unlock it"
Strange was straight to the point as he finished his theory.
Wanda was lost for words as she realised that regardless of how absurd it sounded, it made sense, and now she felt even more a fool for allowing her children to be put in harm's way.
Vision held her hand tightly as he spoke
"We will get them back"
Wanda nodded, her voice was full of determination and hatred as she spoke
"We must find them and destroy Mephisto"
