Mephisto had been lurking in the dimension between Wanda's reality of Westview and the normal reality of Earth.

Westview had become a perfect safe haven where he could hide and Wanda's chaos magic that encased the town was perfect sustenance that he could feed off as he watched and waited.

He had hoped that Wanda would conceive a child, a child of chaos and so he used his strength to forward the time in westview where weeks passed by like decades, thus quickening the growth rate of her children as he needed them to be mature enough to manipulate in order to consume their souls and the magic within.

His plan was nearly complete as he looked at the forms of Tommy and Billy Maximoff, they were levitating, red energy encasing them as Mephisto prepared their bodies to be devoured.

Wanda could sense a pull within her, drawing her back to the house.

Dr Strange opened a portal, stating that it would be quicker to get back and so they all reentered Westview in the living are of Wanda and Visions home.

Wanda glanced around, casting her powers out to guide her to the force that was pulling her.

It led her to the corner of the wall, where a small strip of wallpaper had once again started to peel, she frowned.

She took the corner of paper that had slid free and began ripping it from the wall, exposing the galaxial colour beneath.

Dr Strange frowned as he spoke

"Mephisto is hiding in the shadow dimension of this world"

Wanda's hands began to shake as she spoke

"Tommy and Billy are in there.. they feel.. weak"

Vision took her hand, reassuring her.

"We are getting them out"

Mephisto scowled as he heard the ripping and tearing of the paper, the wall between his dimension and Westview was now knowledge to those that wished to destroy him.

He didnt have much time, with one last ounce of chaos that he had left he cloaked the children, hoping it would fool those that were approaching.

Dr Strange was the first to enter the lair of the demon.

"Mephisto, I take it that the dark dimension was no longer to your liking?"

Mephisto scoffed at the sorcerer but frowned as he noted Wanda and Vision entering, he could tell that Wanda had learnt some truths thanks to the scowl that adorned her features, he smirked.

"Miss Maximoff! How is the suburban lifestyle treating you?"

Wanda growled as her energy brimmed the tips of her fingers, she could sense the presence of her children but could not see them.

"Give back my CHILDREN!"

Without a second thought, she sent out a cascade of energy to the demon, who was now coloured a devilish red with long dark hair and two long horns adorning the top of his head as he inhaled the chaos magic that Wanda had sent his way.

His smirk grew wider as he sent a shockwave of energy hurtling towards Dr Strange.

Vision instantly stepped infront of the sorcerer and took the hit, thankfully it did not cause him much damage but the blast mortified Wanda who now feared to send out more of her attacks as she noted how Mephisto fed off the energy.

She didnt know how to stop him.

Vision stepped forward, glancing his eyes around the room, he pointed to an area and spoke.

"Wanda.. Billy and Tommy are hidden over there, I want you to send out your powers to them to decloak them so we can get them out of here and I will handle Mephisto"

He took one last squeeze of her hand and walked towards Mephisto before Wanda could even protest.

Wong had opened a portal near the area that Vision had pointed out and Wanda reluctantly turned from the frame of her husband and to the area where he had said her children were hidden, she began calling forth her power, pleading that it save her children.

Mephisto had began throwing attacks to Dr Strange and Vision as he tried to best them so he could reach Wanda and the children but was caught off guard by the beam of energy that had blasted into him.

Vision smiled as he noted the effectiveness the mind stone had over the demon and so he and Dr Strange continued their onslaught, ensuring that they gave Wanda time to break the cloaking spell that had been cast over the children.

Wanda could sense their presence as her powers caressed the boys, she was shocked to find that Billy had actually reacted to her powers and was also using his own to help break the spell, mimicking the same technique as Wanda.

The spell fell and her children were there, levitating infront of her.

"Mommy!"

They both cried.

Wanda ran to cradle them in her arms as she began apologising for allowing harm to come to them.

Vision had been pulled from the fight as he heard the cries of his sons, momentarily glancing over to see Wanda holding the boys.

Mephisto noted Visions attention drift away and took this opportunity to hit him with another force of chaos and this time he aimed directly for the stone.

Wanda screamed as she watched the energy flow to the stone, she quickly sent her scarlet energy to shield Vision who had now collapsed from the hit.

She handed the boys to Wong and told Dr Strange to take them somewhere safe.

He nodded and opened a portal for Wong and the boys to leave.

"I'm staying"

He flew to Vision and checked him over, frowning as he noticed the hairline crack in the mind stone.

"I think we should send Vision away too"

He looked to Wanda and she nodded.

Strange opened another portal under Vision, allowing him to fall softly onto the floor of the Sanctum where Wong and the children were.

Wanda and Strange levelled next to Mephisto, Wanda's eyes were enraged with energy as the powers of the Scarlet Witch came flowing through, her voice deepened a menacing tone as she spoke

"You will DIE for touching him"

Strange felt the shiver down his spine as he felt the dark emotions of hate and the intent to kill, to obliterate dripping from Wanda's words.

Mephisto chuckled as he watched her demeanor, her energy was mesmerising and he wanted it.

Wanda flew toward him, sending a cascade of attacks to the demon while Strange did the same, using his lasso to tie the demon in place as some attacks hit him hard and others were sucked into his body.

With every hit he became weaker but then another hit would allow him to regain his strength.

Wanda frowned as she noticed her attacks no longer causing much damage and began to muse a thought.

Could I send him back to the dark dimension if I opened it?She sent the thought to Strange who nodded.

It was possible, considering that she did create an entire new reality.

She smirked to the demon as she sent her powers to flow around him, holding him in a vice as she began warping the reality around them.

Mephisto screamed as he realised what they were doing.

Dr Strange created multiple versions of himself and held Mephisto in place as they slowly came into the dark dimension and to Stranges horror
