Chapter One

In the state of shock, Axl has discover that Zero, His old friend and ally from his maverick hunter years is intact. "Oh shit!" Axl screams loudly. Causing Allouette to squint his eyes and immediately take the pink headphones out of the ears. Being located at the old resistance base miles away from where Axl is located. After the scream, she responds back in concern for Axl, "Axl, what's Happening?!"

"Remember when you told me that Zero sacrificed himself and that he helped humanity and reploids to finally co-exist." Axl says as the way he's communicating through the radio, It sounded a bit startled, but loud.

"Yeah, what about it?" Allouette spoke as she wonders where Axl is getting at. With hearing his risen toned voice, she adjusted the dial on the radio that she made into a repurposed walkie-talkies device. Learned from Ceil as of means of having Allouette know the basics to survival.

"I found Zero, He's offline, but his entire body is still intact and... He's naked?" Axl spoke as he takes a closer look. He is getting the big piece of a wall off of Zero's legs as it was resting on top of them. After hearing what Axl has just said, she is left with being surprised. "Nani!?"

At the time where she screams out the words 'what' in japanese, Axl reacts to her loud innocent-child voice having his one right eye close as it was close to his intercom located within his ears. "Yeah I know, his body is here, I'm going to end call to check on his status." Axl informs her as the two end the call.

Axl then went in closer to look around Zero. Checking to see his status, he looked as though something has repaired him and it is a big mystery. How has this crimson armored, long blonde hair reploid be able to survive the way that he went out. This thought ran through the back of Axl's head as he makes the final diagnosis. He sees Zero to actually be fully functional and just needed some E-crystals to fully operate.

He takes his time as he sends his findings over to Allouette as he makes a comment. "Man, X was right about Zero doing the impossible, being able to come back against all odds." Axl despite being confused and baffled at the feat that Zero survived falling from space. However, he's just happy that he has his old buddy from the 21XX era.

- Hours later -

Zero who thought he has died, started to feel this sense of electricity surging within his body. This static, electrical surge is giving off the sense to him in a way that he's dreading. "Damn it! I can't even freaking get killed off." He thought to himself, swearing at the fact that he wanted to end it all through making a heroic sacrifice. He awakens in a rather sour mood as he noticed that he's somewhere not familiar to him. The last thing that he knew was that he was falling out of the sky, Now he's in some eery darken room with a dimly lit light structure on the ceiling. He hears something coming as he is set on the offense. He gets off of the platform that he was resting on and hides. Taking the darken room to his advantage.

The door opens to reveal to be Axl who is checking up on his old friend. It's been a solid week since he found Zero and he wonders if the reploid even is awake. As soon as he goes inside to find the light switch, Zero strikes. He jolts out of the crate as Axl immediately reacts to the sounds of footsteps made by reploid. As soon as he turns around, Zero who thinks is those enemy reploid grabs the shoulder and attempts to get out his z-saber. Quickly realizing that he doesn't have it, Zero pins the reploid and moves his foot to trip the reploid. Causing axl to be fall to the ground and being slammed on his chest. His arm has been pulled back as Zero sits on the reploid, Pinning him down ont the dirty ground. Axl reacts in pain as he joints is being pulled aggressively.

"Who sent you!" Zero demands as his hostile serious tone is echo in the vacant hallway right behind him in the room. Turning his head to face Zero, Axl seeing his old friend behave exactly what he has known him for, comments with a chipper mood despite the situation. Having his face squished to the dirty floor. "Glad to see you again after all these years."

After hearing this optimistic youthful energy voice, triggers his memory. The only dim light in the room has swayed back and fourth from the quick thumping in the fight. The light shined on the face of what Zero thought was those maverick drones. "A-Axl!?" Zero stunned to see the spiky oranged hair reploid that he haven't seen since the elf wars, is here, alive and still have that aditiude that he knows him by.

"Glad you're still the serious type after all these years, but with a spice of being done with the shit." Axl comments as he remains to be chilled and knowing that Zero isn't going to go beyond pinning him to the ground. Zero wanting to know answers, continues to pin him as he isn't taking any chances that this might be a trick. "Are you really Axl, or just maverick that has gain Axl's copy ability from the past!" His threatening tone has alerted Axl into thinking that Zero mistook him as a maverick.

Zero! Calm down, I'm the real Axl. Trust me." Axl pleas as the escalated situation gets tense when Zero noticed the gun on Axl's hip and takes it out. Only to then cock it and stick the gun to Axl's head. "Prove it!" Zero demands as his finger is ready to blow Axl's head off.

In a panicked tone and having to come up with something that he remembered on the spot. Axl did remember something that only Zero and X would know as he was present when it happened. "You were there when X was pleaing to you to not go along with being sealed away. He doesn't want you to be sealed away as he had something important to tell you." Hearing this form Axl, Zero loosen his grip and takes the gun away from his head. As Axl knew from the sudden shift of emotions. This was something that the three of them would personally know

Realizing that he's standing on top of his old ally, he gets up. Knowing full well that nobody would ever knew about that day other than the three of them. Putting a sigh of relief for Axl as Zero demands to know from him that's doesn't makes sense to him.

"How the hell are you alive? I remembered that you had your body destroyed." he demanded as his tone matches his frustrated confusion. Axl knowing how Zero is feeling right now, opens up to him as he explains to him. "Miss Ceil was trying to find your DNA soul in cyberspace when she came across me." Axl takes a step back as he takes a seat on a wooden crate.

"I gave her a bit of hospitality by offering her some E-crystals that I found the other day. After that, both me and Ceil started talking and she offers me a chance to leave the cyberspace afterlife." Axl continues as he then gave a grin that shows his fanged teeth.

"I took the offer because I still want to help out humanity. And want to kick maverick ass doing it!" Axl proclaims enthusiastically as he takes his fist out and raises it in the air.

Being tad annoyed by his energized enthusiasm, Zero comments with a moody tone. "Bet you told Ceil that you were friends with me and offer to find my corpse."

"Nah, Finding you was a surprise." Axl replied as he glosses his comment over. "It was originally a scavenger mission with Allouette, and finding you intact was something I didn't expect to find." He comments as Zero continues to give a blank stare.

"If you were the one that has found me, where's Ceil?" He comments as his tone continues to be strict and blatantly demanding. "She's in Neo Arcadia doing some research and helping out with the new government."

With hearing Axl's statements, Zero has that look on his face that shows determination, but also dread since he assumes at that moment, Ceil could be in danger. He quickly takes his leave as he breaks due contact with Axl.

"Uh, Zero..." Axl spoke up seeing Zero about to head out. unaware of his condition. "You're not going anywhere!"

Zero turns as he's not going to let his old friend from 21XX keep him from what he thinks Ceil is in moral danger. In a sour, hot-headed mood, he shouts at him with a threatening eyes. "What's so f@cking important that I need to stay put?!"

Being used to Zero's behavior, Axl with an obvious face as he speaks with a chill tone, "You're in the nude edgy." hearing this, Zero finally looks down to see that his armor is completely gone. Destroyed on the way back from falling through the sky. His mood changes as Zero immediately took an surprised look of his muscular ripped body.

"Also you really need to calm the hell down. The war is over." Axl comments as he states Zero's hostile and agressive behavour.
