Should I be doing this when I haven't updated three other stories? Absolutely not. Will I do it? Why not!

Here we are again. I decided to go back to some obsessions, one being Teen Wolf. I read through my story board, and found the first 7 paragraphs just waiting for me. So why the hell not?

Again, this story might extent through the entire Teen Wolf series. I will complete it, but it will take time. And when I say time, I mean it. Maybe even in a 10 years to perfect this. That being said, enjoy.

A scream cut through the air.

"What was that?" Chris Argent asked, looking at his team of hunters.

They had come out this late to catch the Omega that was terrorizing innocent people. It had been doing this for the past six days, leaving bodies around in the jungle covered in blood and dirt. They had started searching since they had found the first body, a school Professor who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. They still had no success. Chris had wanted Victoria along with him, since she was the strategist, but she had to take care of Allison who wasn't aware of her parent's actual work: hunting down the supernatural. They were in the middle of setting traps when they heard the scream.

Chris ran towards the source of the sound; his team close behind him. He couldn't bear to see the victim's families crying over their dead bodies. He soon arrived at the clearing where they saw the Omega attack a boy. But the kid seemed to be fighting his attacker. The group of hunters watched all this with shock and admiration. They had never seen a person dodging a werewolf's claws, because they had high speed and agility apart from the heightened senses. They soon shook off their stupor, and joined the fight. The boy got distracted, realizing that he was being watched. This split second time was more than enough for the omega, and without hesitation, raked his claws across the boy's chest. He screamed out it pain, and slowly fell to his knees. Chris shot the Omega with a wolfsbane bullet and ran over to the boy who was beginning to lose consciousness. He looked about seventeen, with raven-black hair, and sea green eyes. Tear were rolling out of his eyes.

"M-Mom…Paul…Ann-Annabeth..t-they died…I-I Cou-couldn't save t-t-them.."

With those words he passed out, leaving a very baffled group of hunters to stare at him.

3 YEARS LATER

MONDAY, 4:05 AM

"PERCY! ALLISON! GET UP!" Victoria Argent screamed, banging on the doors of her kid's rooms.

"Coming Mom!" Allison shout out. She opened the door, fully dressed with a trolley bag in her hand. They were moving to Beacon Hills that morning." Where's Percy?"

"Ughh," They heard the twenty-year old groaning. Suddenly there was a crash, as if Percy had fell off the bed.

"Percy, you okay?" Victoria asked, while Allison laughed.

He opened the door, and glared at Allison in a playful way. Despite his age, he looked like a teenager, with black disheveled hair and his sea green eyes as bright as ever, which reflected sadness and happiness at the same time. He was 6"3, with Mediterranean complexion and a muscular body. His clothes were a mess, and he was rubbing the sleep from his eyes.

"What?" he asked, yawning.

"We're moving, you idiot," Allison stood up, tears rolling down her cheeks from laughing too much." Mom told you to pack yesterday and I bet you forgot." She said. Percy smiled sheepishly.

"Ah… Can you help me pack? Please?" Percy begged, giving them his baby seal look.

"Fine! Allison, can you go down and get the spare bag?" Victoria asked, looking at Allison.

"Okay." She replied and ran down the stairs.

"Percy, I know what you're thinking," Victoria said, turning to look at her adopted son." But you know that you can't go back. It's a 2-day journey from California to New York."

"But you know that I'll have nightmares if I don't go, Mom. I can't control it! "Percy protested.

Victoria knew what he was talking about. Three years ago, Percy was attacked by an Omega. He had barely survived, and Chris had brought him to their house. They had learnt that his parents and friends had died and he was all alone. They had adopted him and trained him to become a hunter, though he was reluctant about it. He used to go back to New York every week to see their graves. He said that it helped with his nightmares and panic attacks.

"You have to try. It's going to be difficult. Besides we need you to go to school with Allison to protect her."

"I know! I don't want her in this mess! She's going to be attacked by monsters if she knew about them! Also what?!"

"You need to go back to high school." Victoria repeated. Just then Allison came up the stairs with an empty bag.

"What?! I'm twenty! I don't need to go to high school! I don't want to go to high school!" Percy said, clutching his head. School brought back too many memories: Tyson, the cannibals, cheerleaders, and Annabeth. He still remembered her voice, as clear as day. Suddenly he saw Annabeth, a spear impaled in her gut, dirt and blood covering her face. Her hair was a mess, but she still looked beautiful to him. Her stormy grey eyes were looking right at him. He heard her say the last words she ever said as she clutched his hand.

"I love you, Percy. I always will."

"Percy!" he heard a muffled voice," Percy!"

He opened his eyes. Allison and Victoria were looking down at him. He was lying on the bed in his room.

"What happened?" he asked, sitting up.

"You had a hallucination." Allison asked.

"I-I saw he-her." Percy said, tears flowing freely down his face. "Ann-Annabeth. "

"Allison, go back to your room." Victoria said, holding his hand.

"What? No I- "Allison protested.

"GO." Victoria said. Allison walked out of the room reluctantly.

"Percy, you have to tell us what happened. It's not going to help you if you- "

"No. You might never look at me the same way if I did. I would be putting you guys in trouble. I don't want you to die."

"Percy we're hunters. Of the supernatural. What could possibly be worse than that?" Victoria asked. She was worried about her son. He never told them about what he had faced and how his family had died.

"Everything. Everything I've faced is worse than that, Mom. I just can't tell you yet." Percy said. He picked up the bag Allison had dropped and began packing in his clothes. Victoria sighed and stood up. She walked out of the room, leaving Percy alone.

THURSDAY, 8:45 AM

"I can't believe I forgot a pen!" Allison exclaimed, as they were walking to class. Percy had gone to New York one last time and had arrived at their new house in Beacon Hills earlier that morning. He still wasn't happy about going to school, but Chris had forced him to, saying that Beacon Hills was literally a beacon for the supernatural and if Percy didn't go to school to protect Allison she would be dead. Chris knew him a little too well. He had also been scheduled to meet the counsellor, Ms. Morrell, thanks to Victoria.

"Can you lend be that pen of yours?" Allison asked, "You know, the one with the bronze ink?"

"No way! You know what that pen means to me! It's the only thing that my dad ever gave me!" Percy protested. He couldn't expose the sword to Allison or anyone for that matter.

"So why did you guys move to Beacon Hills?" the teacher asked. He was the one taking them to their first class.

"I don't know. We just move around a lot." Allison said. She was much better at politeness than him. He would have instantly replied with 'Why do you care?'.

"Hopefully Beacon Hills will be a nice stop." The guy said. Yeah, right.

The man pushed a door open and they walked in.

"Class these are our new students Allison Argent and Percy Jackson-Argent. Do your best to make them feel welcome." He said and left. They gave a small wave of their hands and moved to the two empty seats at the back. The boy sitting in front of Allison turned around and gave her a pen. She took it, looking shocked and said 'Thanks'. Percy giggled and Allison turned to glare at him.

"So class, the…"

This was going to be a very long class, Percy thought as he placed his hands on the desk.

THURSDAY, 10:30 AM

"So, Percy. Where should I start?" Ms. Morrell asked him.

After class, he had given all his books to Allison so that she could keep them in his locker. Then he had walked in here. To the counsellor.

"Well, you can start by telling me what I am doing her?" Percy said, looking bored.

"Percy, this meeting is to help you overcome your grief. Trust me, I know about losing people."

"No you don't. You're the one sitting there with your file taking notes about me so that you can tell my parents about it."

"Percy, first of all this is confidential. I won't tell anybody. It's a part of my job. Second, there are no cameras here so no one is watching you." She assured him.

"Fine." Percy grumbled.

"So, can you tell me about your parents?" Ms. Morrell asked.

"You mean the ones who are dead? No." Percy asked.

"Do you know where your dad is?" she asked him, showing no signs of irritation.

"No. My mom said that he was lost at sea." Percy said, schooling his expressions. He didn't want to look weak in front of this woman. Otherwise he'd probably have to sit here for the whole day.

"Lost at sea. You mean he's still alive?"

"Maybe. Look I don't want to talk about all this okay? Unless you have anything that can help me sleep without the nightmares- "

"Listen, Percy. You've-"

"I can't. It's- It's complicated. I haven't told my adoptive parents. Why would I tell you?"

"Because, I know who you are."

"What?" Percy asked, confusion written all across his face.

"I know that you're a helpless kid, worried about what his parents might think about. You're guilty. You think that it's your fault that they died. You have constant nightmares and panic attacks. You don't want anyone to know that you feel this way because you're ashamed of yourself. You can't help it, kid. Three years is a long time to hold everything in." Percy sighed in relief.

This woman wasn't going to leave him alone, that much he could tell. Well, then. He'd have to come up with a lie.

THURSDAY, 4:06 PM

"Ughhhh," Percy said, carrying the equipment bag. Allison was coming down to see the tryouts and was walking besides him, cheering him up.

"Chill, Percy. I've seen you fight. You have amazing reflexes. If you don't make it to the team, no one will." Allison said, encouragingly. Percy smiled. His little sister could usually calm him down when he was worried.

"Argent!" the Coach scream at him," Get your ass over here!"

"All the best." Allison said, and gave him a hug for good luck. She then went to sit with her new friend Lydia.

"Hey, Coach." Percy said.

"Have you ever played lacrosse?" He asked.

"No."

"Ever seen a lacrosse match?"

"No."

"Ever heard of lacrosse?"

"No?"

"What did you do your entire life?!" Coach screamed.

'Well run away from monsters and fight wars. Currently hunting the supernatural with my parents.' He wanted to say, but instead said sorry.

"McCall!" Coach yelled," Stilinski! Get your asses over here!"

Two boys ran from the field. They both carried their sticks and wore their helmet.

"Yes, Coach?" the skinny one asked.

"Teach this kid the basics. And then you'll be taking the goal, McCall." Coach said.

"Why am I on the goals?" the other kid, McCall asked.

"To boost up their spirits." Coach simply replied, and walked away.

"You're Allison's brother." McCall said, turning to look at him.

"I'd prefer Percy, but 'Allison's brother' works just fine." Percy said, smiling. The skinny one laughed.

"I like this guy. I'm Stiles, by the way. Scott's best friend." He said, pointing at McCall.

"Percy Jackson-Argent." Percy said. he stretched his hands and Stiles shook it.

"So, Percy, ever heard of lacrosse?"

The tryouts had just begun. Stiles and Scott had taught him the basics. All he had to do was run around and throw the tiny ball into the net. With his ADHD, done and done. So far, Scott had managed to get every ball that had been thrown, to the shock of everyone in the field, including Stiles. Who was currently swearing under his breath.

"Why? He doesn't play that well?" Percy asked.

"No!" Stiles exclaimed, gesturing widely. "He's usually a klutz! I should know, we've been practicing together!"

"Maybe he had a stroke of luck?" Percy said.

"Stroke of luck? Bullshit. Scott's been practicing without me! If I weren't so pissed off, I'd actually be surprised he kept it away from me. Can't blame him though. I suck at this game." Stiles said, smiling at his best friend. Percy laughed.

"Argent! GO!" Coach yelled at him. Stiles pushed him forward. From the benches, he could hear Allison screaming his name. He grinned.

Percy picked up the ball, and threw it as fast as he could. Scott missed by an inch.

"Again!" Coach yelled. Scott threw the ball back. They went back and forth a few times, with Scott missing his ball. Every once in a while he'd catch it.

"Next!" Coach yelled, and Percy moved to the back. He waved at Allison, who was jumping up and down like a maniac.

"What the hell, dude?" Stiles exclaimed. "At the rate you two were going, you'll both be making first line! I couldn't even see the ball!"

Percy smiled at that. Coach whistled again, calling an end to the tryouts.

THURSDAY, 8:53 PM

Percy was relaxing that night after completing his homework, lying face down on the sofa, when Allison walked in.

"Allison! What happened?" Victoria asked, as she walked into the house dripping wet, a shirt clutched in her hands. Percy stood up from the sofa to get towels. He draped it around her, dragging her to the sofa, and she smiled gratefully. Victoria brought a cup of hot chocolate. Allison sipped on it slowly.

"I'm fine. I accidently hit a dog while driving. It- it got hurt so I took it to the vet."

"Whose shirt is that, then?" Vicotria asked.

"Oh, its Scott's. He's in my class. He's working there. He patched he dog up and gave me this top. I'm fine, Mom." Allison said. Victoria nodded and left. Percy leaned back in the sofa next to her.

"So, Scott huh?" Percy asked, smirking. Allison cuffed him over the head, blushing. Percy laughed.

THURSDAY, 11:02 PM

"Why are we attacking them again?" Percy asked, as he stood in Chris's office that night. The hunters were standing around, Chris and Victoria at the head. Apparently werewolves were roaming around the Preserve.

"Because they're werewolves! They found the body yesterday with wolf hair. It has to be them." One of the hunters said.

"That's an educated guess. Besides, even if it was a werewolf, why hunt all of them? We only need to kill the one that killed the girl."

"Wolves don't kill alone. There is always a pack." Victoria said.

"Unless it's an omega!" Percy argued. "What was the code? We hunt those who hunt us. Why are we going on killing even the innocent ones?"

"Because they could become potential threats!" another hunter argued.

"I'm not taking part in this. Chris, Mom, let me know when you decide to change plans." Percy said, walking out of the office.

FRIDAY, 7:45 AM

Chris drove Allison and Percy to school the next day. Allison left the car, kissing her dad goodbye, while Percy sat in the shotgun, scowling.

"I don't agree to this." Percy said. "So far, I fought because they were actual monsters. These are not! They have a human side, a family. I'm not hunting them because you see them as potential threats. I'm not going to be the reason they spend their lives running away."

Percy knew firsthand what that was. Running from monsters who found him tasty because he was a son of Poseidon. He didn't want to take anyone from their families, not after he lost everything.

"I'm not asking you to." Chris sighed, and handed him a knife. Percy looked at it questioningly. "Just keep it. For your sake and Allison's. It's a precaution."

"When are you telling her?" Percy asked. "Keeping her in the dark isn't protecting her. You're putting her in more danger."

"Soon. I just need some time."

Percy took the knife from Chris, and tucked it to his boots. He nodded at Chris and walked to the school, dreading the day.

FRIDAY, 3:30 PM

He knew he was late. Allison's friend Lydia was clingy.

Percy knew he was attractive. Allison had told him that when a few of her friends had come over for sleepover a year back, but instead spent their entire time staring at Percy, much to his confusion and Allison's embarrassment.

Victoria and Chris had laughed when Allison had complained about Percy's looks. And then she'd proceeded to explain that Percy was, according to her friends, 'a dream come true' The blush that appeared on his face that day was brighter than Victoria's 'special occasion' lipstick. Allison had howled with laughter.

Percy didn't see this 'attractiveness'. He was just…him. Green eyes and jet black hair like his dad, muscles and scars worth years of fighting for his life. Tall, like all the kids at camp. He'd called Nico and asked if he was attractive, and Will, who was with Nico at the time, had looked at him in shock. Nico rolled his eyes.

"Why are you asking me this, Percy?"

"Because you are brutally honest. I'd have asked Piper, but she's in her class right now. Rachel's with her parents. Jason would laugh at my face, Thalia and Reyna will kill me, Hazel will look scandalized and Frank and Grover would say yes to not hurt my feelings."

"Clarisse?" Nico had asked. At Percy's glare he sighed. "She'd dump your head in lava, got it. Yes, Percy, you are attractive." Will nodded.

"Okay, thanks. Do I need to give the 'don't hurt my baby brother' speech to Will?"

Nico had cut the Iris message as Percy laughed.

But, aside from attractiveness, he was twenty. Twenty-one in a few days' time. And they were minors.

Even if he wasn't, he wouldn't date anyone. He still loved Annabeth. She was the one for him. His first love. She told him that she'd wait for him in Elysium. And he would, too. He couldn't imagine being with anyone else.

But Lydia seemed to forget the sense of personal boundary. Teenagers these days.

Hence Percy was running late for tryouts. Just as he walked in, he heard Scott's voice yelling.

"- wanna know? Well, so would I! Because I can see, hear, and smell things that I shouldn't be able to see, hear, and smell. I do things that should be impossible, I'm sleepwalking three miles into the middle of the woods, and I'm pretty much convinced that I'm totally out of my freaking mind!"

He turned to see Jackson, Lydia's boyfriend, standing in front of Scott. Upon seeing him, Jackson walked away, looking at Scott menacingly.

"Are you okay?" Percy asked. Scott nodded and left the locker leaving him all alone.

Percy was still thinking about what Scott had yelled in his fit of fury.

I can see, hear, and smell things that I shouldn't be able to see, hear, and smell

I do things that should be impossible. I'm sleepwalking three miles into the middle of the woods

Stiles had said that Scott was a klutz. He'd caught a few of the balls that Percy had thrown. That was saying something, because his speed and agility was stronger that mortals. He was half god, he had a part of their strength.

Besides, on the first day of class, Scott had given Allison the pen, without her even asking. And she'd mentioned the pen situation only to him in the secretary's office, which was meters away from the classroom.

"-the phone," Stiles was talking to Scott as they made their way to the middle of the ground. Percy followed them. "The fiber analysis came back from the lab in L.A. They found animal hairs on the body from the woods!"

"Stiles, I gotta go." Scott said, as he jogged forward, leaving Stiles behind.

"Wait, no! Scott!" Stiles yelled. "You're not gonna believe what the animal was! It was a wolf."

Wolf. Werewolf. Heightened senses. Sudden strength. Scott McCall was the new beta.

Gods, why was his life like this?

"Let's go! Gather round! Bring it in, come on! Come on!" Coach yelled, as the students gathered around him. Scott raised his hand, and Coach looked at him.

"Got a question, McCall?"

"What?" Scott asked.

"You raised your hand. You have a question?"

"Oh - No. I was just, uh - Nothing. Sorry." Coach glared at him, and then continued.

"Okay. You know how this goes. If you don't make the cut, you're most likely sitting on the bench for the rest of the season. You make the cut - You play. Your parents are proud. Your girlfriend loves ya! Huh? Everything else is, uh - Cream cheese. Now, get out there and show me whatcha got! Come on!"

Percy snorted. Even he knew better prep talks than this one.

"Argent!" Coach yelled, as Percy put on his helmet.

"What, Coach?"

"Go back to the bench. You're not playing."

"What? Why?" Percy asked, pulling the helmet off his head to look at Coach properly.

"You made it to first line, Argent. Now, do you want to get kicked out of the team before playing your first match?" He yelled. Percy nodded and left the field quickly. He saw Allison and Lydia at the bench. They were looking at him questioningly, probably wondering why he was walking back without playing.

"I made it!" he exclaimed, standing at the foot of the benches. "I made it to first line!"

Allison shrieked as she launched herself at him. He held her as she hugged him, yelling in joy at his ear.

"Ow ow, Allison! I need my ears!"

"I don't care! You made it! I'm coming to all the practice now!"

"Yes, and that is because you care about your brother, not because one Mr. Scott McCall is also making it to first line by the looks of it." Lydia deadpanned. Percy laughed as he extended a fist to her. She smirked, and fist bumped him, as Allison mumbled a quiet 'shut up'.

Percy turned back to see the beta launch himself over another student, and throw the ball at the net. He scored and Coach blew the whistle. He saw Coach say something, and Scott jumped up in joy.

He'd made it to first line too.

FRIDAY, 7:45 PM

Percy was training with his sword after school, when Victoria called him.

"Percy! You have a call!"

He willed the water to drench him, getting rid of the sweat lingering on his skin as he walked towards the living room.

"Hello? Who's this?" Percy asked, as Allison ran down the stairs. She quickly kissed him on the cheek and walk out the door. A car honked outside.

"Percy? It's me, Stiles. Can you not let Allison go with Scott? He's not in his right state of um…mind."

"What? Stiles," Percy said, as he opened the door. He saw a car leave the street. "Oh shit! Stiles, Allison left! Wait, she's going with Scott?"

"What? Oh god! Yeah, Scott had asked her at the animal clinic and she said yes. I-I gotta go!"

"Stiles, I know Scott's a werewolf." Percy said. He heard a sharp inhale of breath from Stiles. "Did he learn how to control the shift?"

"What? No! He got turned two days ago! Scott doesn't even know that he's a werewolf!"

"Where's the party?" Percy demanded, as he ran back inside to his room.

"Lydia's house. I'll send you the address." Stiles said. Percy quickly gave him his phone number, grabbed his jacket, and ran back down.

"I'll meet you there." He said and ended the call. Percy grabbed the keys from the table and left the landline. He pulled out his own phone to see a new message from Stiles. Percy walked out, got into his car and drove to Lydia Martin's house.

FRIDAY, 8:20 PM

Percy locked his car just as a ratty blue jeep parked next to him. Stiles ran out, and exhaled in relief after seeing him.

"I'll take Scott, you find Allison and get her away from here." Percy said, as he made his way to the house.

"What? You can't take him! Did you forget that he's a werewolf?" Stiles yelled as he followed him.

"I'm trained in martial arts and weapons." Percy said, pulling out a small pocket knife. Stiles yelped.

"What the hell?"

"Find Allison. She won't leave him. Distract and get her out of here. I'll find Scott. If he gets out of control I'll knock him out. I'm not going to kill him, Stiles. This is for my safety. Werewolves can heal from cuts very quickly. "

"Okay fine. I'll call you if I see them." Stiles said. Percy nodded as he made his way back in.

A few minutes later, Percy's phone started ringing.

"Percy?" Stiles asked, as he put his phone to his ear.

"They're not here. I asked everyone." Percy replied.

"Allison left with someone, I saw her. Scott apparently left as soon as the party started. I'm going to go check his house." Stiles replied.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Percy asked him.

"Yeah, actually I could use the help. Meet you outside." He said and cut the call. Percy walked outside and found Stiles waiting near the Jeep. The boy was tapping his hands in an uncontrolled manner the hood. Percy walked towards him, and Stiles quickly pulled his hands back, and jumped to the Jeep. Percy followed him.

"So how'd you find out?" Stiles asked, his fingers still tapping away on the steering wheel.

"Scott was yelling at the locker room. He said about the heightened senses. And I heard you talk about the wolf hair report. Put two and two together. Scott wasn't subtle at all." Percy said, as he fiddled with Riptide.

"He didn't know. I told him to stay away, he didn't listen." Stiles said. He looked at Percy's hands in confusion.

"You never seem to stay still, do you?" Stiles asked. Percy smiled.

"ADHD." He replied.

"Huh. Same." Stiles said, grinning.

"Dyslexia?" Percy asked. Stiles shook his head.

"Nope."

So he wasn't a demigod. He could hear Annabeth's voice in his head, scolding him. Not every kid who has ADHD is a demigod, Seaweed Brain.

Suddenly his phone started ringing. Percy picked it up.

"Percy, Chris needs you to go with him." Victoria said.

"No. Mom, my stand on that is final. I'm not going with Chris." Victoria sighed as she cut the phone.

Stiles suddenly pulled over in front of a house, and ran out of the Jeep. Percy followed hm. Together they went upstairs to what he presumed was Scott's room. Stiles tried to open the door, but it seemed shut.

"Go away.." Scott groaned from the room.

"Scott ! It's me !" Stiles yelled. " Let me in, Scott, we can help. Percy's here too. He knows!"

"No ! Listen, you've got to find Allison."

"She's fine. Someone got her out of the party, she's totally fine..." Stiles assured him.

"I think I know who it is." Scott said.

"Who is what?" Percy asked, looking at Stiles in questioning.

."It's Derek Hale !" Scott yelled. "Derek Hale is a werewolf, he's the one who bit me, he's the one that killed the girl in the woods."

"Scott... " Stiles said, looking at Percy in shock. "Derek is the one who drove out Allison from the party."

They heard a thump. Percy pushed Stiles out of the way and kicked the door opened. They barged inside, to see the window open, and Scott running towards the woods.

FRIDAY, 9:00 PM

"Oh god, Derek killed the girl? And now he has Allison..." Stiles mumbled as Percy held his phone to his ear, trying to reach his sister.

"She isn't picking up…." Percy mumbled, ending the call. He pulled up Victoria's contacts, and dialed the number in.

"Percy," Victoria said. "You changed your mind?"

"No, Mom." Percy said. "Did Allison come home yet?"

"I don't think- hold on, Percy, someone's at the door," Victoria said. Percy heard some ruffling.

"Percy?" he heard his sister's voice through the phone. "I'm here. Is everything all right?"

"Oh thank the gods," Percy exhaled. "Yeah, just wanted to check in on you. I'm okay. Tell Mom I'll be back in a few hours, okay?"

"Yeah, okay. Bye Percy!" Allison said.

"Bye." Percy replied, and ended the call.

"She's fine," Percy said to Stiles, who sighed in relief. "I'll go find Scott."

"What? Alone? No!" Stiles yelled. Percy shook his head.

"Don't you have to get home? Your parents will be worried." Percy replied as he walked out of Scott's room, Stiles in tow.

"Dad will be fine. I'll call him."

"Yeah, no. I'm not looking for him with you nearby."

"Why? He's my best friend, I'm coming with you."

"Yeah sure, Stiles, follow me to the forest where a murderer and two werewolves are currently running lose. Not to mention the other large multitude of creatures that love lurking in the dark." Percy deadpanned.

"Sarcasm on point." Stiles replied. "A bunch of martial arts training isn't going to save you."

"Something's better than nothing." Percy replied as he stood in front of the Jeep. Stiles smiled victoriously.

"And how exactly are you going to get to the Preserve?" Stiles said smirking.

"By foot." Percy said, running off. Stiles jumped on to his Jeep, and was just about to take off, when he heard the unmistakable siren of the Sheriff's car.

Oh, Stiles was so grounded.

FRIDAY, 9:15 PM

Percy ran as fast as he could, only to run into Chris and his team.

"Percy? What are you doing here?" Chris asked, handing him a bottle of water. Percy took it gratefully as he sat down near a tree stump, trying to catch his breath.

"You all can leave now. We'll continue again tomorrow." Chris said. They said goodbye to each other and went their ways, as Chris sat next to Percy, who managed to gulp down the water.

"It's over?" Percy asked. Chris nodded.

"There's definitely a pack," he said. "We are not killing it. We're trying to find the murderer."

"So whoever the betas may be, you won't kill them?" Percy asked again. Chris looked at him in confusion, but then nodded. He sighed in relief.

"Percy, its August 1st today. Are you planning on leaving?" Chris asked.

Percy had a habit, which the Argents figured out quickly. Aside from the weekly visits to his parents grave, he'd leave for the entire week is birthday fell on. He'd go visit both the Camps, spending a day each, and then the graves. He'd go see Olympus, Annabeth's plans coming to life as the years went by. He'd go visit his Dad, and then return.

"I need to see my family. At least on my birthday. They'd like that." Percy mumbled. Chris nodded.

"So, where all are you planning on stopping? You sure you don't want a plane ticket?"

"No. Planes are…not my thing. I like driving. Enough time to collet my thoughts. I'll go to San Francisco, then Manhattan, Montauk and Long Island. I'll most likely be gone a week." Percy said. "Is it okay? I know I haven't spent any of my birthdays with you, b-"

"Percy. It's okay. You're still healing. You've come a long way but you still need time. And we're okay with you leaving. They're your family."

"You are too." Percy said, leaning on his shoulder.

"I know. We all do. But they were your family first. Go visit them, we'll be fine. Alison might bitch about this for the next one month though." Chris warned. Percy laughed.

MONDAY 4:45 PM

"Yeah, you're damn right I'll bitch about this! Again!" Allison said, jokingly pouting. Percy laughed and put his arm around her shoulder as she closed her locker.

"But seriously, will I ever get a birthday with you?" Allison asked. At least next year, let's all go together. Or better yet, only the two of us will go. It'd be like sibling bonding time!" Allison said, excitedly. Percy smiled at her.

"Next year? Okay. Why not? Though you might want to be on your best behavior from now on. Chris is easy to convince. Mom, not so much." Percy said, as they walked out of school.

"Yeah…" Allison sighed. She looked up and groaned. "Speaking of convincing…"

Percy looked up to see Scott McCall looking at Allison with the definition of kicked puppy written on his face.

"Yeah...Mom is going to be so pissed at the boyfriend thing."

"He's not my boyfriend!"

"Yeah totally. He's just the boy you have a crush, maybe h- hey!" Percy yelped, as Allison punched his arm. "Fine, go talk to the 'random boy who you may or may not like to kiss'. Your poor brother will wait for his ride." Percy dodged her punch and cackled madly. He walked past Scott, patted him on the back, whispering 'you got this' and stood near the sidewalk.

A minute later, Chris pulled up the car. Percy got in as he signaled Allison to follow.

The last thing he saw was Scott's shocked expression, as he saw Chris.
