Chapter 2

Hi, this is not my first fanfiction but I'm still pretty new. I just wanted to try out something new, I worked hard on this and had a lot of fun, so please read, review, and I hope so enjoy

Disclaimer I do not own Diary of a Wimpy Kid or the characters characters, only the plot and characters I have created.

"Omg. Is that Rodricks shirt?" A high pitched voice came from behind her. A girl she didn't know came out from behind her and started walking next to her.

"Um… hello?"

"Are you two dating or something?"

"Sorry, who are you?"

"Because that would be just great,"

"We aren't dating."

"You know he's been after me for so long it's good to see he's moving on."

"What are you doing?"

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know you but you're talking to me like we're friends or something."

"I'm just being nice, you seem so out of place." She gestures to Nicole's outfit and makeup. She rolled her eyes and walked away.

Nicole and Rodrick talked in English class again and at the end of the day, she was at his house again.

"Ok so did you remember your book today?"

"Nope."

"Alright." She walked over to him where he was sitting on the chair. She sat on the floor so he could read over her shoulder. They read a few pages then started on the writing.

Time went by quickly and before she knew it, it was already 8. She headed out the door and drove home.

In the morning she woke up to a text from

Rodrick.

Rodrick: party at my house

Nichole: I'll be there

That day was pretty uneventful. She stayed at home and watched TV while her parents were at work. She was just waiting to go to the party.

After a while she decided it was time to get ready and the party was in half an hour. She just got into some new clothes and put on some eyeliner before she got into her car.

She drove up to the house and the party was already going off. She walked in and weaved through the crowd of people to find Rodrick. She passed the basement and heard kids screaming from inside but figured it was his younger brother and kept walking.

"Hi."

"Hi." Rodrick turned around and saw Nicole. "Glad you could come."

"Me too." She looked around the room. "looks fun around here."

"It is." He looked over. "Oh no, it's Heather." She looked over and saw the girl who had talked to her that morning.

"So that's her name. You like her?"

"Yes, definitely."

"Really? Well she doesn't like you." He looked at her surprised.

"How do you know that."

"She told me. This morning. But you know, you could make her jealous and she might go for you."

"Really?"

"Yah, sure. Why not."

"Ok, what are you going to do?" He looked at her curiously. "Are you going to make out with me?"

"Sure, that's not a bad idea. Now she's looking, do you mind if I do something to you?"

"Ok, yah. Go ahead." She put a hand on his chest and pushed him into a nearby wall, pinning him. He knew he could push her off him if he wanted to but he was too stunned, and if he was being honest with himself, he didn't really want to, no girl had ever shown so much interest in him or any interest at all.

She got really close to him and started making out with him. It was rough and demanding. It took him a second to realize what was happening but when he did, he kissed her back. Their tongues battled for dominance. She smiled against him. They stopped and rested their foreheads together as they caught their breath. He looked over and Heather was staring open mouthed. Then turned around and stomped off.

They laughed with each other as she got off of him.

"That was hot." He looked at her.

"Thank you. Looks like Heather though so too." She started to sway to the music. "Come on, dance with me."

"What? No one is dancing."

"Well if no one starts dancing no one will be dancing, but if we start dancing other people will dance to. Now come on." She grabbed his hand and dragged him to the middle of the room despite his best efforts. Fall Out Boys were playing and Nicole started dancing. Rodrick just stood there looking at her in the middle of the room and laughed before joining her.

For a while they were the only ones dancing and they looked ridiculous, but Nicole didn't seem like she noticed. She looked happy. Eventually other people started to join and it became a little less awkward.

They were in the middle of dancing to 5SOS when the music changed and Waterfalls started playing by TLC. And as everyone coupled up, for the dance Nicole and Rodrick reached for each other. They started at arms length but soon Nicole was resting her head on Rodricks shoulder.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Doing what?" Nicole looked up into Rodricks eyes.

"Helping me get with Heather."

She put her head back down. "I don't really like her so maybe I'm doing this to punish her."

"Haha, funny. But seriously, why?"

"I don't know. You just seem nice, and I want to be your friend."

"Well, either way, thank you." The music changed and she went to sit down on the couch. "What's wrong? Are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm fine." She smiled at him. Heather walked up to Rodrick and asked him to dance. "Go, dance. I'll be ok." He thanked her and started dancing with Heather. Nicole sat down and put her head back to lie on the back of the couch.

"Hi." She turned her head and a boy with frosted tips was sitting next to her.

"Hi."

"You're pretty."

"Wow thanks." She turned back to look at the ceiling. He moved closer to her and put his arm around her. "What are you doing?" He moved to kiss her. "Ewww. Get off of me!" She moved away but he kept getting closer. She got up to walk away but he started grinding on her. She turned around and slapped him across the face. "What the hell are you doing?"

"Bitch." He walked away. She just stood there shocked. He had harassed her, then he had the gall to call her a bitch.

A little while later she was still sitting on the couch pissed when Rodrick sat down next to her. "What's wrong with you?"

"Nothing. Just some dick."

"Oh yah, we got lots of those." She nodded. The rest of the night was a haze and when it was over she got in the car. Her parents were out of town so she would be home alone. She turned a corner and a grey mustang was following her, she drove a few more blocks and the car was still following her. She made 4 rights and it was still following her. She realized being alone she would be at a major disadvantage so she found herself driving back to Rodrick's house. She knocked on the door and Rodrick answered. "Hi."

"Hi, can I stay tonight?"

"Sure." She walked in. She looked back and saw the mustang keep driving past the house. He moved to lie down on the floor.

"Oh, no. I can sleep on the floor."

"No you slept on the floor last time you can sleep on my bed."

"Are you sure." He nodded. "Ok. Thank you." she lay down on the bed and pulled up the covers.

It didn't take long for her to fall asleep. Rodrick was still rolling around when a hand landed on his face. Nicole's hand had fallen off the bed and was now on him. He flipped over so her hand was on the side of his face. He felt her hand start to move and play in his hair. He wasn't sure if she was awake or not but he didn't move and fell asleep shortly after.

In the morning they both woke up to someone calling on the phone. They let it go to voicemail and kept sleeping. When the voice spoke it was their mom telling them they would be home in an hour. They all jumped up and all chipped in to clean the house so they wouldn't get in trouble with their mom.

Soon their mom walked in the door and Nicole had to hide again.

"Hi," They all stood in the room together looking at each other. "It's very clean." Nicole could hear them talking from downstairs. Their dad was interrogating them. She laughed quietly when she heard how nervous they were.

Eventually Rodrick ran upstairs. "Hey sorry about the wait. They were in their room so you can slip out without being noticed."

"Awww, no goodbye kiss?" He looked a little stunned and confused. "Kidding." She walked out leaving Rodrick wondering what just happened.

At school she ran into Heather again. "I saw you at the party last night."

"Oh yah?"

"What were you doing kissing Rodrick, you said he's not your boyfriend."

"He's not. Are you jealous?"

"What no."

"Ok. Then why do you care?"

"I don't"

"Great, then we can stop talking."

"You don't have to be rude."

"You're right, I don't." Nicole walked a little faster to get away from her.
