8:00 PM
The woods were quiet as the 10 humans and monsters made their way through it's dense walls. Not even the ambience of the night was on display here. To say it was unsettling was a understatement. Everyone was uneasy, even Undyne. Lucas remained calm however.
The group had recently passed a cave with a long deceased fire. Lucas predicted that this was where Red spent the night.
"I don't like it out here, it's too quiet." Chad stated, looking from left to right, his grip tightening on his weapon.
"Calm down and stay alert, don't let a little silence spook you." Daniel said. The rest of the soldiers reconfigured their stances, trying to seem less frightened than they obviously were. It was seemed to be working for the most part. Either that or Lucas didn't care.
"Well, I'm starting to realize the reason there isn't any ambience." Enrique said.
All the soldiers turned to him.
"Oh yeah, and why's that?" Han asked.
Enrique chuckled slightly.
"Remember the bodies of the demons we saw earlier? I think it's safe to assume they are littered throughout the forest. I think we found our reason." Enrique explained.
The sound of gunfire had started to cease as they walked further away from the battle they had saw. But Lucas knew that wasn't the main reason.
"How do we keep ahead of her?" Undyne asked.
Lucas turned his head. "We don't sleep that much and we utilize my abilities to travel short distances. I'm sure we will be right behind her by tomorrow morning." He stated.
Panzer stepped forward and pointed up ahead.
"You see that?" Every member of the group turned to see a towering figure standing 100 meters away from them. The figure was at least 3 times taller than Undyne with visible horns sticking up from its head. However other features were not visible.
"What the hell is that?" Ryan asked in a shaky voice.
The figure took a step forward. The group all took a step back, readying their weapons.
Suddenly the demon thrust it's right arm forward and three missiles started racing towards them.
"Get down!" Lucas shouted, running forward and extending both hands.
"Lucas what are you doing?" Undyne asked.
Lucas threw out his arms, his hands glowing gray before the projectiles stopped in mid air and dropped to the ground.
Undyne's eyes went wide in realization. She hadn't known he could do that with his magic.
The demon roared and started running towards them. Each solider began to turn on their flashlights, illuminating the horrific sight of the Tyrant before them.
"Open fire!" Lucas shouted and one by one each solider opened fire on the demon.
The bullets did not stop its advance in the slightest. They only caused minor bleeding around the eyes. However, finally slowed briefly as Panzer launched a large green fireball at the demon.
Lucas and Undyne ran towards the demon.
Lucas jumped into the air firing a magic energy blast at the demons face sending it reeling backwards into a volley of spears summoned by Undyne.
The demon roared as it spun around to bring its fist down on Undyne. She leaped out of the way as Lucas's hand glowed gray and he delivered a volley of enhanced punches at the demons right knee cap, bringing it down to one knee.
The demon swung its fist, launching the human backwards and giving the demon time to fire a barrage of rockets at Lucas which he barley caught with his magic. Undyne attempted to stab the demon in the head with a much longer spear. The demon snarled and spun around, hitting Undyne with its rocket launcher. Undyne fell backwards which gave the demon an opportunity to kick her into a nearby tree.
The demon stood up, charging its rocket launcher and aiming at the soliders who were desperately reloading their weapons.
But the weapon was going up into the air. The demon shouted in shock as it's own weapon was aimed at its own head. Unfortunately for it , the weapon was already charged. Lucas quickly let go of the weapon and dropped to the ground as the head of the demon exploded, sending blood into the air like an erupting volcano.
"I was hoping for something a little smaller." Daniel said, walking over to the body of the demon.
"With any luck we will have more friends!" Rais exclaimed with a smile, then walked over the body and to the other side.
"That was certainly interesting..." Undyne said standing next to Lucas.
"Hopefully Red will be able to handle these better than us." Lucas said.
Undyne sighed.
"I do hope..."
June 24th 1944
Oh shit, I left Normandy last week. I wish I was still there, it's better than what I saw...oh god. Me and my company invaded this facility on an island off the shore of southern France hoping to politely remove a wanted Natzi scientist from his office. Oh we got him alright. And we found keys to his lab. We found the lab. It was filled with monsters. Dozens of them in test tubes. Some of the tubes were just dust. I don't know what that crazy asshole was doing to them. But before we could get them out of there some alarm system was triggered. Oh god, it poisoned the tubes. They all died, every last one of them and there was nothing we could have done. My Sergeant still blames himself. He's a good man William Joseph Blascovich. I hope he's alright after what happened. Emma, how is my baby girl?
Present day.
Red was beginning to tire. Again they had been walking for hours on end. It was early morning and the first rays of sunlight were beginning to show throw the trees. Red desperately hoped that a bed would materialize out of thin air. Maybe out of that infinite storage unit of the Slayers.
"How much longer?" The gruff voice of the Slayer suddenly asked. Red was a little surprised that he was asking her. KolpShe thought he would have known.
"Oh, probably another week or so." The Slayer grunted in annoyance, unsatisfied in her response.
Red was slightly confused.
"I thought you didn't mind the walking?" Red asked, a sly grin on her face.
"Not when there are no demons to kill." Red's grin turned into a smile. All he wanted to do was slaughter demons. So if he was walking for days without knowing if he will kill any demon seemed to actually to annoy him.
"Get down." The Slayer ordered causing Red to duck her head as the upper half of an Imp flew past her.
Red shot up unholstering her sword. The Slayer held out his crucible to a group of fodder demons in front of him. The Slayer shot forward and relived a zombified solider of it's head before spinning around and stabbing an imp in the stomach and pulling up the blade, cutting the demon in two.
"There he goes again..." Red said. With an amused grin as she swung the air, creating a rift in the void and jumping through.
The rift opened up behind a zombified solider who was opening fire on the Slayer. Red smirked as she jumped over it and kicked it backwards into the rift before jumping with a spin and cutting the heads of 5 imps simultaneously.
Red landed on the ground, using a hand to steady herself and dashed to the side to avoid a plasma round and threw her sword at the group of zombified soldiers. Quickly cutting through each of them with ease.
Red rolled to the side to avoid a strike from a Dread Knight, the only non Fodder demon in the group. She got up and delivered a swift kick to the Dread Knights stomach before it could strike again. The kick didn't do much to Red's disappointment.
With a cry Red kicked two more times before jumping over the demon, grabbing her sword had just returned to her and spun around mid air, cutting through the head and eventually the entire body of the Dread Knight.
The Slayer stomped on the boot of an imp before reloading his super shotgun.
Red fell onto one knee and coughed, exhausted at the sudden dispatching of several demons in a short amount of time.
The Slayer quickly grabbed her and slung her over his shoulders.
"T-thanks..." Red embarrassingly thanked the Slayer before she was dropped as the Slayer was knocked into a tree. Red cursed internally as she made eye contact with a Baron of Hell as it ran past her to engage the Slayer. Two more came out or the trees as well as 3 Mancubus class demons. The heavy plain looking demons that was armed with 2 arm cannons didn't look like much from afar. But was quite terrifying up close.
Red heard the Slayer fighting the 3 Barons. She was sure he was winning, but his crucible and super shotgun lay on the ground next to him and he was being cornered into a large tree.
Red looked to her right seeing her sword lying in a puddle of blood. She desperately reached for it. Her fingers had touched the handle when a foot stepped on the sword. Red looked up to see a Hell Knight class demon. Except this one had glowing Red eyes and an ever disturbing sadistic smile.
"What have I found?." It asked sarcastically.
"I-I'm not going back!" Red angrily shouted through gritted teeth.
"Oh you are and you know it." The demon said as it carefully picked up her sword, examining it with a wicked grin.
"Should we do this the easy way, or the hard way? My master would much rather have you choose the easy way. But I don't mind the hard way." The Hell Knight chuckled.
"F-fuck you Satos..." The demons grin became far wider as the mention of its name caused it's eyes to become brighter.
"I'm flattered, but I think it's time to go, daddy's waiting." The demon said, grabbing her by the arm. He then began to drag her to an opening red portal.
The sounds of struggle behind her started o fade as the portal got closer.
The demon roared, dropping Red to the ground and stumbling back. It was about to charge forward when an energy blast knocked it back into the trees.
"Give them hell boys!" A male voice shouted followed by a series of battle cries then Red covered her ears as a gunshots rang out.
Red winced as she felt her self being dragged by both arms. Red couldn't see who was dragging her but could see saw several soldiers in armor that was familiar to her.
Where had she seen that armor?
Red sighed as she was carefully placed up against a tree.
The sounds of battle diminished around her and the body of a Baron flew into a nearby tree.
Red blinked several times and looked up. Whoever had dragged her to the tree was was walking around to face her.
The figure came into view. The first thing she noticed was the familiar red mask he wore.
Reds eyes went open and suddenly narrowed as she kicked him in his sensitive area.
"Fuck!" He shouted as he clutched his masculinity. Red jumped up and jumped him twice in the head causing him to reel back giving Red the opportunity to grab a combat knife resting on the figures belt and hold it up to the mans neck.
"I thought I told you not to follow me." Red said. Lucas raised his chin slightly to avoid the blade.
"That was quite the formal greeting." Lucas said sarcastically and winced as the pain of the kick began to set in.
"S-shut up! I told you not to come after me, and what do you do? You follow me. I don't know w-" Red was cut off as Lucas was knocked back from a punch from the Slayer.
"Fucking shit!" Lucas shouted as he grabbed the Slayers fist before it connected with his fist. Unfortunately for him he wasn't able to hold up to the Slayers strength and his arms was thrust backwards at him giving the Slayer time to grab him by the neck and list him off the ground.
Undyne ran at the Slayer with her spear. With an annoyed grunt, The Slayer used Lucas to swat away Undyne.
"Wow big guy, I think that's enough." A solider said and signaled his men to surround the Slayer.
"S-stop!" Red shouted, standing in front of the Slayer and holding up her hands.
"Red step away from that monster." Lucas said, wiping blood from his face.
"Red, please listen to us." Undyne said. Red turned and realized her old combat instructor was here's . She never fully realized she was there until now. Red relaxed slightly.
"Just don't harm him, he thought you were trying to hurt me." Red said. Undyne nodded.
"I trust you Red." Undyne stated causing Lucas to hesitantly nod.
"Think we found the other soul you were talking about boss." The solider that had talked to the Slayer earlier said to Lucas.
"Yes...I think we did..." Lucas said, grunting in pain.
Red felt a wave of guilt befall over her. She had injured him after he had saved her from Satos and she had done quite a good job in repaying him with blue balls.
"I-I'm sorry Lucas..." Red apologized lowering her head.
"This will have to wait." The Slayer said, stepping forward.
"I accept your apology. But I agree with him, conversation will have to wait. Who are you?" Lucas asked, turning to the Slayer himself and crossing his arms.
"You don't need to know."
Lucas narrowed his eyes.
"Why are you with her?" Lucas pointed to Red.
"Protecting from demons."
"She can protect herself!" Undyne exclaimed, stepping forward.
"You would be surprised..." Red said in embarrassment.
That surprised both Undyne and Lucas who had a look of shock on their faces.
"Hell wants her, don't know why, don't ask." The Slayer clarified.
Lucas and Undyne exchanged a confused glance at the Slayers rather small list of vocabulary.
"Being hunted by hell?" Undyne asked.
"Yes." Red clarified.
"I don't think this is the place for this, let's get out of here." Lucas said before pressing a button of a device on his wrist.
"Where are we going?" The Slayer asks.
Lucas turns around.
"An outpost in Alaska a helicopter will come to pick us up." Lucas explained.
Alaska
The outpost was rather large. It was surrounded by a wall that also had an energy shield around it. Outside of the main outpost were several watchtowers with lines of tents and roads for vehicles to pass through.
The Slayer was in the main building at the outpost. It was large with 3 stories and took up a quarter of the base.
The Slayer sat down in a chair. Across from him was Lucas. They were sitting in what the Slayer assumed was his office.
"So, for starters, what is your name?" Lucas asked placing his elbows on the table.
The Slayer didn't speak for over a minute.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, The Slayer gave a response.
"William. William Joesph Blascovich III" Lucas blinked, taking in the information.
He nodded. "Alright, William. What is your association with Red?" Lucas asked.
"What's yours?" Lucas looked up, not expecting his question to be redirected back at him.
"We worked together several months ago." Lucas explained.
"She is being targeted by hell. They want her captured." William explained.
"Do you know why?" Lucas asked.
"No."
"Why do you want to protect her?" Lucas asked, with a slight touch of suspicion in his voice.
"Hate hell."
Lucas looked down at the desk, sighing internally.
"My name is Lucas, I am the current Leader of the I.M.M. You probably haven't heard of us, I don't except you to." Lucas paused seemingly narrowing his eyes and looking into Williams helmet.
"Now, if you are going to protect her, you are going to have to stick with us for now." Lucas said, leaning on the table.
"Do you have weapons?" Lucas blinked and looked his Super Shotgun laying on the table before standing up.
"Follow me." William stood up, grabbing his Super Shotgun and following Lucas out the door.
They walked down the hallway before taking a couple turns and ending up at a large door labeled "Experimental"
"So, I'm guessing you prefer the bigger guns judging by that shotgun you have there, this room will have what you need." Lucas said before swiping a keycard.
The metal door opened revealing a large hallway. On either side of the hallway were rows of different weapons.
William walked in an began to analyze the weapons. They were certainly big compared to what the soldiers had. There were weapons of various shapes and sizes. Each weapon had a distinct look to it.
"Have fun." Lucas said, closing the door behind the Slayer, leaving him alone with the big fucking guns.
Lucas sighed, walking down the hall while looking down at the floor.
"Hey." Lucas turned his head around at the sound of Reds voice.
"What's up?" Lucas asked, turning his body around to face Red.
"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for what I did earlier." Red apologized, looking down at the floor.
"You don't have to, I understand." Lucas said.
Red looked up.
"But I shouldn't h-" Lucas held his hand up.
"You reacted on instinct, don't worry about it. I kind of deserve it too..." Lucas reassured her.
"That doesn't change anything. But are you okay?" Red asked.
"I'm alright, I think I'm am at least. Just a few days of no circulation, and constant pain when I try to take a leak...but overall I'd say I'm fine." Lucas sarcastically said. Red looked to the side and her face went warm in embarrassment and guilt. But it left her face almost immediately and she turned back to him.
"I'm sorry..." Red whispered, earning a brief chuckle from Lucas.
"Well, enough of that. We have a lot to catch up on, including a new development involving someone you know." Lucas said, causing Red to lean her head to the right is curiosity.
"Let's go to my office, I'll explain everything there." Lucas said, walking a few steps down the hall and beckoning her to follow.
They had not made it more than 30 feet down the hall when Lucas paused and turned around.
"Oh...we found this." A look of shook spread over Red as she stared at her grandfathers sword grasped in his hand. Red looked from the sword and up to him, still in a shocked state.
"W-where did you g-get this?" Red asked.
Lucas frowned under his mask and sighed.
"That's what I was going to explain..." Lucas stated, scratching the back of his head.
"Follow me, we have a lot to discuss."
William grabbed a weapon from the right rack. He inspected it, seemingly to have the idea in his mind that it was familiar. However, this beast couldn't quite place his finger on where he had seen this before.
The weapon was large, sliver with a banana shaped magazine hanging from its bottom. The weapon also had what looked like a grenade launcher coming from underneath the barrel.
William continued to scan the weapon, attempting to locate anything that could tell him what the weapon was and who the manufacturer was.
And he found it on the stock of the weapon.
It dark black letters it read
1960
Followed by the Natzi insignia.
What the hell?
Where did these guys get Natzi firearms? William didn't know much about this dimension. But one that should be hard to do in any dimension would be the ability to gain Natzi firearms. And of this caliber.
The Slayer put the weapon in his storage unit and continued looking at the rows of weapons.
He found a weapon labeled, BFMLB. The gun was big. Pretty fucking big. It started out with a generic handle and a awfully large stock. The barrel wasn't that big, but it was what attached to it that was big. On top and below the barrel, were two rectangular compartments that housed some type of blue energy.
The Slayer immediately grabbed the weapon, analyzing it and pulling its second trigger below the first which seemed to make a noise that slowly got louder and caused the blue energy to get brighter.
William let go of the trigger before the weapon was fully charged, depositing it in his infinite storage unit and moving onto another weapon that caught his eye.
If he wasn't mistaken, that was an MG42 machine gun laying on that rack.
William grabbed it with both hands, pulling out the ammo belt and inspecting it.
The bullets were clearly not 1940's machine gun rounds. They were green, with a notable hue to them.
He shoved the belt back in and deposited the weapon before heading for the door.
Lucas sat opposite of Red in his office.
"So, first things first, we found Newko." Lucas told Red, which caused her left eye to twitch.
"What did you say?" Red asked.
Lucas sighed.
"Newko, we found him." Red frowned and looked down at her feet.
"Undyne told you about him, didn't she." Red asked, still staring down at her feet.
"Yes, you could have told me, I would have helped you." Lucas explained.
Red shook her head, lifting it up to face him again.
"You don't understand, this is between him and me." Red said with an exhausted sigh.
"And did you face him?" Lucas asked.
Red nodded.
"And you lost didn't you." Lucas stated rather than asked.
The silent that followed confirmed Lucas's suspicions.
Lucas leaned forward, placing his elbows on the desk.
"So why not let me help you, let Undyne help you?" Red's lip began to quiver. She couldn't find an answer.
"I-I don't know..."
Lucas smiled under his mask.
"Look I'm helping you. But not now, we have more urgent matters to discuss." Red looked up.
"You see, these demonic entities that have been showing up have a purpose, we all know that. And we believe that a abandoned castle near MT.Ebott is housing hell priests, or what we are assuming are hell priests. We could get some answers there." Red smiled.
Lucas looked confused.
"So you went from a private military organization to trying to save the world?" Red asked.
Lucas ignored the question.
"So, we need those Hell priests eliminated if we are to stop the demons from coming to our world." Lucas said.
"And how are you sure that killing them will stop this?" Red asked.
Lucas shook his head.
"I don't but we have to try."
"Will you go?" Red asked sheepishly.
Lucas looked taken aback.
"Actually, I have to other matters to deal with. Like your friend William Joseph Blascovich." Red cocked her head to the right at the mention of a name for her new companion.
"That's his name? I didn't bother asking him before." Red said, mostly to herself.
"If you are ready you can leave immediately, you will be accompanied by a platoon of my best Commandos." Red looked even more confused.
"And how many is that?" Red asked.
"45, should be enough to get through the castle." Red nodded slowly and stood up.
"Also, I have reason to believe Newko has a strong relationship with Hell due to his position in an allied terrorist organization. Be careful, he could be there." Lucas warned. Red nodded, and walked through the door.
Lucas stood up and walked through the door as well, only to be greeted by Undyne.
"So, the new punk, do we know anything about him?" Undyne asked.
Lucas shrugged.
"Not really. All I know is that he likes guns, hates demons, and wants to protect Red for whatever reason." Undyne raised a brow at that.
"Why would someone like him want to do that?" Undyne asked, watching Red walk down the hall.
"I have no idea..." Lucas said.
Red was amazed to see the sprawling hanger before her. Several helicopters and jets were lined up in an orderly fashion. Some being cleaned by maintenance workers, and 2 helicopters that resembled chinook helicopter but with a blue paint job and jet thruster on the bottom. The soldiers assigned to the mission were standing outside of the helicopters, talking amongst themselves.
One of the soldiers, with a blue visor instead of a green one noticed Red and walked over to her.
"Red, right?" They asked.
Red nodded.
"I'm Captain Daniel, I'll be the one leading this mission." He explained. Red followed Daniel and the rest of his men into the helicopter.
Red took a seat next to Daniel as the helicopter blades began to spin.
"This here is Panzer, he's my second in command." Daniel motioned to a smaller solider with a red visor. Panzer looked to Red and gave her a nod which she returned.
Each helicopter slowly began to ascend, making a 90 degree turn before flying off.
Daniel stood up, standing in the middle of the helicopter.
"So, we have 2 objectives. Our main objectives is to eliminate the hell priests from the castle. Our secondary objective is to eliminate Newko if he is in the castle." Daniel explained.
"Once we land we will make our way to the base of the mountain and fire cables from our weapons. Once we scale the mountain we eliminate all enemy combatants then enter the castle, kill the priests, and leave. Sounds easy, won't be surprised if it isn't."
Daniel suddenly started to violently cough.
"Shit..." He said to himself and sat back down.
"Are you alright Captain?" Panzer asked.
Daniel nodded.
"I'm fine." Daniel suddenly stopped as if he had a sudden realization and turned to Red.
"Do you have an alternate method of scaling the mountain?" Red shook her head.
"Well shit." He said, looking down at the ground for a few seconds before his head snapped back up.
"Do we have any extra weapons with cables here?" Daniel asked the entire helicopter.
One solider pulled a sniper rifle from his back and detached a second barrel directly below the first.
"My sniper rifle has one, I don't need this." The solider said, throwing the attachment to Red who caught it with one hand and analyzed it.
"You press the blue button on the bottom to activate." Daniel said.
Red nodded, flipping the object and pocketing it.
Red wasn't stating to notice that much movement within the helicopter.
"Approaching LZ in 30 seconds!" The pilot shouted from the cockpit.
"Get ready boys!" Daniel shouted.
The light inside the helicopter started to become red.
"Red light stand by." Daniel said.
Each solider checked their weapons and equipment as the pilot began to set down.
"I got dibs on one of the priests." Panzer said to Daniel as he loaded his weapon.
Daniel chuckled.
"I'll make sure to tell the rest of the boys then."
The hell priests held very high positions of power within hell's 9 circles, Red was aware of that. Priests came from various different worlds under the influence of Hell
Red wondered if the hell priests located in this castle be from Earth?
Red didn't have time to ponder that idea as the light turned green.
"Welcome to Paradise rock jumpers." The pilot said, giving the soldiers a slight moral boost as the doors opened.
"Move it, move it!" Daniel shouted as all 22 soldiers inside the helicopter scrambled out the door.
In front of them was a base of a large mountain. On top of the mountain was a castle from the Human monster war.
The castle had a large courtyard which overlooked the edge. The soldiers would climb up the mountain and would climb into the courtyard.
Red's eyes scanned the soldiers and looked for Daniel, who was rushing to the base of the mountain besides panzer.
By now fireballs from imps had begun to rain down on them.
Red ran to the base of the mountain and pressed her back against it, where the rest of her team were doing the same.
Luckily they hadn't taken a single casualty making it to the mountains base but that was soon about to change.
"Alright boys now here comes the hard part!" Daniel exclaimed and motioned for his men to fire their cables.
One by one they began to climb the steep mountain side.
Now there was 2 dozen imps over looking the edge and pelting them with fireballs.
Red grabbed onto the cable with one hand, holding her sword with the right.
She slowly but steadily began to climb up the mountain.
Around her the soldiers began to return fire the Demons. One was shot in the skull and almost fell onto red but she jumped to right to avoid the body before it could land on her.
She watched it as it splattered to the ground below. Caught up in brief satisfaction, she was momentarily caught off guard to see a soldier to the left of her get his cable hit by a fireball and watch him fall down the mountain below.
Red shook her head, realizing she was still in the midst of a battle, and found herself having to press herself against the mountain as the body of a burnt soldier almost fell on top
of her.
"Poor souls..." Red muttered and began to jump, trying to get as close to the edge of the cliff in the shortest amount of time possible.
Daniel moved his body to the left to avoid a fireball than fired at an IMP with one hand, killing it and sending it tumbling down the mountain.
By this point they were almost to the top.
Panzer unleashed a large fireball which caused two imps to fall off the cliff.
Red was close enough that she could teleport to the top via cutting open a rift.
Red stepped through the rift, swinging her sword in the way out and gave it connect with an imps skull, splitting it in two.
Red then spun around and kicked an Imp off the edge of the courtyard. A fireball was thrown at her, which she jumped over and rolled towards the one who threw it, stabbing the demon throw the heart.
A loud stream of gunfire later and the demonic snarls began to die down completely.
Red turned and saw the remaining soldiers pulling themselves onto the edge of the mountain.
Daniel reloaded his weapon and walked up Red.
"We have 4 casualties and 2 wounded, still enough to take the castle." Daniel told her. Red nodded and turned to face the castle. There was a large open set of doors that were at least 10 feet tall and 20 feet wide. Beyond the doors were a row of statues leading to the entrance. The statues of every single king in monster society.
"Captain, I've assigned some men to look after the wounded." Panzer relaid to Daniel who was also staring at the statue.
"Good work Sergeant." Daniel said.
Daniel took off the cable attachment on with weapon and put it back on his belt.
"Are you ready to step on hell's doorstep?" He asked while still trying to attach the object.
The ends of Red's mouth curved upwards slightly at the implication of what that sentence meant.
"I sure as hell am." Red responded.
Daniel motioned for the remaining 36 Combat ready soldiers to follow him. They formed 2 lines and proceeded to march further into the courtyard.
Daniel pointed to a statue of Asgore.
"Those statues are of monsters." He stated, turning to Red who was walking right beside him.
"They are of the kings." Red explained.
"Wow, didn't realize we were on a monster built structure..." Daniel muttered.
The doors to inside of the castle were also wide open.
"Um, Captain who leaves a door to their secret base wide open?" Panzer asked as Daniel held up his hand to halt the match.
Daniel turned and looked down at the monster.
"Well, it tells us one thing, it's a trap."
"So what do we do now?" He asked.
"Panzer, you should know me well enough now. We spring the trap!" He exclaimed turning fully around to face all the soldiers.
"Alright Panzer, and you 8 come with me." Daniel pointed to the 8 soldiers up in front of the line. They quickly broke off from the formation.
"Alright, the rest of you will hold off any unfriendliness that decide to show up to the party while me and my squad will infiltrate the castle and kill the priests."
The other solider began to break formation, setting up defenses or just chat.
"Alright lets go." Daniel began to walk towards the castle entrance, with Red,Panzer and the 8 soldiers behind them.
Undyne and Lucas watched as the Slayer plowed his way through several enemy's soldiers inside the simulation they had put him in.
He had run out of ammo for most weapons but his Super Shotgun, But did not want to waste any ammunition for it. So he was using his bare fists to decimate the incoming soldiers. Ripping off legs, arms, heads and even internal organs. Not even Lucas had seen such a pleasant display of brutality before.
"Where the hell is this guy from?" Undyne asked. She had her arms crossed and was staring at the scene before her behind the glass.
"His behavior on the battlefield is more akin to an animal rather than a human don't you think?" Lucas asked, turning to Undyne who chewed her lip nervously.
"No wonder the demons want him dead..."
William spun around and grabbed a soldier with one hand by the skull and crushed it with his palm.
Simulation complete
The scene of a forest around the Slayer faded and he was left staring at a blank white and blue grid like ground. The bodies had all disappeared as well as any trace of what had happened.
An area in the wall opened up and the Slayer stepped through it. Inside was an elevator. Not the regular elevator but just a white room. The only reason William knew that this was an elevator was due to the fact it was going up.
At the top, Lucas and Undyne greeted him.
"That was quite a show you out on." Lucas told William who stepped out of the elevator.
"The real thing is better." William said, causing Lucas to smirk under his mask.
"So, I have some news you might like." Lucas said.
"What?" William asked as the three began to walk down the hallway.
"It involves Hell. We have tracked 4 hell priests to a castle just half a kilometer from MT.Ebott. I have sent Red and my best men to kill the hell priests.
"What?"
The Slayer spun around and jabbed his index finger into Lucas's neck. Undyne summoned a spear.
"I am supposed to protect her and you send her miles away from me? Get me on a helicopter now!" William shouted into his face.
Lucas cursed under his breath, forgetting the strange fact that he was supposed to protect Red.
"Follow me."
Daniel signaled for his team to stop.
They stopped and heard chanting around the corner.
"Ready your weapons, some demon shit is going on over there and we are gonna stop it."
Panzer leaned his head to the right and immediately pulled it back.
"4 hell priests are there, no guards. They are chanting over a body hanging over an alter." He stated.
"Alright, on my signal we turn this corner and open fire. Let Panzer open fire first, he called dibs on one of the priests." Daniel explained and stood up holding up three fingers.
He slowly began to lower the fingers until
there weren't any left.
Panzer turned the corner, releasing a barrage of bullets. The rest of the team followed and soon all the priests were rotting corpses.
Red looked down at one of the corpses.
They seemed to be just an old man.
These were humans.
Whoever the priests were sacrificing they were long gone.
"Alright, mission accomplished let's get out-" Daniel looked down to see his wrist com beeping.
He pressed a button on it and a voice came through.
"Sir there are 5 incoming Chinook class helicopters, looks to be an entire company headed our way, have you killed the targets?" The soldier on the other end asked.
Daniel quickly responded. "Yes, we are coming to give you support now." Daniel heard a sigh of relief on the other side and he pushed a button and the voice went silent.
"Let's move!" Daniel said, and the team made their way towards where they had entered from.
A solider started up into the sky as he witnessed the 5 helicopters touching down. He had just been able to make out an attack helicopter coming into view. It began to rain down fire from its machine gun.
2 soldiers tried to get behind one of the statues but were gunned down by the machine guns on the helicopter. A solider attempted to use an RPG to shoot it down but was also gunned down.
Another solider snatched it as the helicopter's gun switched targets and fired a rocket directly into the cockpit.
The cockpit of the helicopter soon became enveloped in flames, causing it to crashing down in the middle of the courtyard.
Unfortunately the helicopter had bought time for the chinooks to land. At this time Red and the rest of the team ran into the courtyard.
"Well we certainly missed something." Daniel sarcastically said.
"We have incoming!" A soldier shouted and pointed to the doors of one of the helicopters as dozens of Baron terrorists ran out and began firing their weapons.
A soldier was immediately shot in the head
as the terrorists began to pole out.
Daniel threw a grenade into a group of terrorists, killing 3 and injuring one. He then pulled out his Aug-a3 assault rifle which he was using for this mission and gunned down 2 terrorists while on top of the crashed helicopter which some soldiers were using as cover.
Panzer managed to gun down 3 before he had to take cover behind the crashed helicopter. However his magic was almost charged.
Red targeted terrorists that were separated from the rest of they're group.
She ran forward, cutting open a rift and appearing behind the terrorist who opened fired on her, stabbing him in the back and kicking him into another terrorist, then ducking a swing from a machete and swung at the mans stomach, separating him into two.
Red quickly cut another rift behind her as a terrorist tried to hit her with the butt of their gun. This caused them to fall inside. Another terrorist ran at her with a machete. But she flipped over him and kicked him into the rift.
She closed the rift and jumped at a terrorist, stabbing them in the head, spraying her face and neck with blood.
Red jumped off him, spinning and kicking a terrorist in the groin before following up with a kick to the head which knocked him out.
Suddenly Red flew forwards and hit the ground hard, hitting her forehead hard on the ground.
Red groaned slightly in pain but got back up to duck under a swing from a weapon.
She jumped back as who ever swung at her swung downwards.
Now she got a good look at the figure.
They were at least 9 feet tall, in white armor. They seemed to be carrying a spear like crucible. However it was blue instead of Red.
Now Red realized how familiar the armor was. It was a version of Knight Sentinel armor.
She didn't except to be fighting the hulk of the Knight Sentinels anytime soon.
Red had to duck to avoid a strike from the spear. Red quickly kicked the brute twice and attempted a swing at its right leg which was blocked by the blunt end of the spear. The two exchanged several blows, the sword fighting session disrupted by the brute kicking Red, sending her sliding backwards. They jumped up into the air, the weapons spear pointing down.
Red rolled out of the way and got up to strike brute who smacked her with the blunt end of her spear into one of the statues.
Daniel got out of cover only to see the last of 20 soldiers that made up the first line of defense be killed.
There were now only 17 of them.
"Fall back!" He shouted. The remaining soldiers dove under the door to the castle which was slowly closing.
However 2 stayed to cover their retreat.
One was shot in the head and the other screamed as he was stabbed in the chest by whatever that Knight Sentinel was. But they had bought the rest enough time.
"I've called for reinforcements, but they won't get here for another hour." Panzer told Daniel.
"Shit...nice work kid." Daniel said and looked back to the door.
"We won't be able to hold them off, we should find a way out of here." Red suggested.
"This place could still be littered with baddies. We wouldn't make if we tried to escape. You and Panzer go and try to get a safe distance from here. Try to find a landing pad and fall for a Blackhawk." Red was slightly stunned that he let both of them go but then rest had to stay.
Panzer nodded. "We will come back to help you once reinforcements arrive." Panzer said.
Daniel nodded and pointed down the hall agreed the two ran off.
"Alright boys, get ready to send those Barons back to hell!" Daniel exclaimed.
The Slayer was in a modified Chinook helicopter, beside several nervous soldiers. It wasn't the battle they were worried about. No they were excited about that. William was the one making them nervous.
While the captain, confused at how his men were scared of a 6'6 man with giant armor and holding a double barrel shotgun piped it.
"Cool off, he's here to help us, not kill us." That didn't seem help to ease their minds at all.
"When will we arrive." Most soldiers jumped at the sound of The Slayers voice. One even dropped their weapon.
The Captain just sighed.
"They won't be like this when they are blowing the heads of those demon assholes off." The Captain said to the Slayer. William didn't offer a response. He just continued to stare at his Super Shotgun.
The Massive Knight Sentinel paced back and fourth throughout the length of the door. He stopped and noticed something on the right. A control panel of some sort. The Sentinel spotted this and thrusted its Crucible spear into it. This was confirmed to be the control panel because door started to open up but closed. This happened a few times before it slowly started to open.
"They've cut the panel!" A soldier at the front of the defensive line said, turning to Daniel who was in on the right behind a crouched solider.
Every soldier aimed their guns at the ever slow opening door. A bead of sweat dropped down a solider in the far back of the group as the door was almost to the point where Baron troops could step through.
"Here they come!" Daniel yelled as the first shots rang out. Over 2 dozen Baron terrorists began to march inside, firing their weapons.
Daniel fires 2 rounds, hitting one of the terrorists in the hip and thigh. Daniel took cover behind a small pillar as the soldier in front of him was shot 3 times in the stomach before falling to the ground, dead.
Another soldier fall at the far back of the line, the body sliding against the wall.
4 Baron troops were shot dead before Daniel unpinned his last grenade and chucked it at the incoming horde of terrorists. The gunfire from the terrorists ceased as 4 of them flew through the air. However it picked up again and two soldiers in the front of Daniels defensive line were shot dead.
"Hold this line!" Daniel shouted as a solider across from him was shot through the head.
Suddenly a spear like object was thrown directory at a soldiers chest. A massive brute stepped through the now ceasing gun fire. What remained of Daniels men started to drop their weapons and but their hands up.
"Shit..." Daniel cursed and dropped his weapon, walking up to where his men were lined up single file.
"Bring them to the courtyard for execution, I will find the girl." The massive armored brute said in stunningly humanlike voice.
"Yes, Sir." One of the terrorists said and began to escort Daniel and the remainder of his men along with 2 dozen terrorists and a Baron of Hell.
Daniel sighed and hoped Panzer and Red were okay.
Red and Panzer found themselves on a landing pad overlooking a massive forest below. Panzer pressed a button on his wrist com.
"Damn it, signal could be jammed, I'll try to get a hold of the Captain."
Daniel and 10 were all that remained of him and his platoon. However they wouldn't be as 2 Terrorists were readying their weapons for execution.
There was at lest an entire platoon in the courtyard, there wasn't any getting out of this one.
Suddenly his wrist com beeped.
Daniel smiled as a terrorist walked over to him.
"What the hell is that?" They asked.
"Oh, here I'll show you." Daniel said, holding out his wrist com to the idiot before punching him straight in the jaw and grabbing their AK-47 assault rifle and shooting them in the chest.
The other terrorists were so stunned that they didn't except the other 10 to do the same, grabbing their weapons and returning fire to the Terrorists in the courtyard.
One was quickly shot through the back of the skull as they attempted to take cover behind the crashed attack helicopter.
The rest of them took cover behind the attack helicopter.
The Barons raced for cover as 6 terrorists were gunned down by Daniels men.
"Not sure how long we will be able to hold out, where is out reinforcements?" A solider said, hopping onto the helicopter and firing from the hip, killing two terrorists.
The soldier quickly ducked as a solider to the right of them was shot in the chest and head
Daniel cursed under his breath as he put a fresh magazine he found off a dead terrorist into his newly acquired weapon.
But his lips curved upwards as he saw Blackhawk helicopters flying down towards the courtyard.
Suddenly Daniel jumped onto the crashed helicopter, aiming his gun down onto the terrorists and demons.
"Surrender, you are vastly outnumbered!" He shouted. The terrorists lowered their weapons, looking to each other in sheer confusion.
Suddenly, the single Baron of hell present screamed in agony as it's skull was split by the Slayers crucible.
Soldiers began to jump from the helicopters and began to open fire on the enemy.
William dropped on top of a terrorists head, crushing it under his boot. A hell Knight charged at the Slayer, falling over as he dodged to the side right before it could ram into the Slayer. William quickly spun around and cut the demon in half before stepping on the top half with his MG42 unholstered.
A deafening wave of machine gun fire could be heard as William marched forward, gunning down demon and human alike. A terrorist managed to sneak up behind William, only to get the butt of his MG42 in his skull, cracking it before grabbing the neck of an Imp and crushing it before throwing the limp body into two terrorists who were impaled by the spikes on the imps back. The Slayer blinked as a bullet bounced off his visor. He turned to see what looked like an officer unloading a magazine of a Ruby pistol point blank.
The terrorist shouted something in German before the Slayer cut the man in half with his crucible.
William scoffed as a dozen or so Baron terrorists threw down their weapons and but their hands up, getting down on their knees.
Something came from the Slayer that no one expected. A laugh, which was followed by William unloading the remainder of his bullets into the surrendered foes.
An exhausted Daniel sprinted towards the Slayer.
"Some giant fucking demon in white armor ran into the castle after Red and Panzer!" He shouted with audible nervousness in his voice.
"Stay here." William told him and pulled his Assault rifle and ran for the castle entrance.
Red and Panzer were walking down a dark corridor. According to a map Panzer had of the castle they were just a few corridors away from a landing pad.
"This place isn't right, we haven't seen a single demon or Baron Terrorist. This place should be flooded with them." Panzer said, providing some sound to the eerily quiet hallway.
"They could all be fighting Daniel and the rest of his men. Or they could not be engaging on purpose." Red suggested, earning a confused glance from Panzer.
"Why would they do that, to them we'd be easy pray right?" Panzer asked.
Red shook her head.
"They don't want me dead. And I haven't been particularly easy to capture either. Don't be surprised if we get some extra large company."
"They shouldn't be any match for you though." Panzer stated with a little to much confidence.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Panzer stopped walking. Red turned around, opening her mouth and about to speak but closing it as they began to hear what sounded like loud thundering footsteps from down the hall.
Panzer leveled his rifle towards the direction of the footsteps, his index finger on the trigger.
"That doesn't sound very human." Panzer remarked, his voice somewhat shaky.
"You are correct about that one." Red stated, raising her sword.
The footsteps changed from what seemed like a slow walking to steady jog and then a full blown sprint.
"SHIT!" Panzer screamed opened fire on the massive Knight Sentinel charging at them.
Panzer, who was in-front of Red, was hit in the head with the blunt end of the spear and sent straight into the wall.
Red jumped back to avoid a flurry of strikes that were sent her way. She began to block and parry the strikes but she wasn't strong enough and began to tire, becoming slower and more sluggish with every strike. Sooner or later she would be disarmed.
Unfortunately it happened sooner. With a kick and a swing, her sword was knocked out of her hand. The Knight Sentinel held the spear backwards so the blunt end was facing forward.
Red was able to dodge was first few swings. But he was surprising fast. She was barley able to duck under a swing before she was punched with the Sentinels free hand, sending her into the wall with a whimper.
The Knight Sentinel raised his spear so the blunt end would hit her in the head.
Before any of that could play out, the sound of running footsteps could be heard from the right of them. The Sentinel stopped and turned his head only for a massive shockwave from Williams fist to knock the brute backward and hit a pillar.
"William?" Red asked.
The Slayer looked down and nodded to Red before dashing forward and unloading bullets from his Natzi assault rifle into the massive Knight Sentinel who staggered back. It wasn't down yet and stood up, preparing to attack the Slayer. William pressed a small button on the side of the weapon and fired again, a small projectile was launched from the second and far larger barrel on the weapon. The weapon made contact with the Knight Sentinel and exploded on impact, causing it to fall over onto its back, destroying a pillar. Part of the brutes armor had been blown away. Most prominently shown in his torso area, revealing charred black flesh. Without delay The Slayer unsheathed his crucible and leapt forward stabbing the already wounded Sentinel in the stomach. It roared an otherworldly sound and punched William off of him.
The Slayer stood up and pulled out his Super Shotgun. Before he could do any more damage, the Knight Sentinel charged straight through the wall.
William ran towards the hole that was just created and looked down to see a forest below. The Sentinel had jumped off the mountain and by the looks of it fell through a slip gate from the glowing blue light below. William hated Slipgates, the circular portals that allowed a user to travel anywhere were to widely distributed throughout the universe. This allowed realms like Hell to conquer far easier.
William was about to go after it but then he remembered that Red was possibly wounded.
William spun around and ran back to where Red was sitting up against the wall.
"William, is Daniel okay?" She asked weekly as she noticed him.
He nodded. "He's fine."
William analyzed her wounds. The left side of her head was bleeding. Red needed medical attention immediately if she was going to get back into the fight anytime soon.
Grabbing her by the legs and head, William picked her up and carried her. He stopped as he saw Panzer laying against the wall.
"Get up." Panzer coughed multiple times before sitting up and slowly standing up.
"Are you hurt?" William asked.
Panzer shook his head. "Nothing too serious maybe a slight concussion but that's all."
"Let's go." The Slayer said, running down the hallway besides Panzer with Red in his arms.
Hawaii
General Saxon III sat across from the Frisk, hands folded on the table.
"We have a few questions for you." He said, glancing to the 2 other men sitting at the table. One in a lab coat and another in a suit.
"Yes, I can answer any questions sir." This caused the General to chuckle.
"Alright, first off, have you seen these creatures before?" Frisk shook her head.
"I haven't seen them before." Frisk responded. The general nodded and nodded to the one in the lab coat.
"I know you have the ability to see another living things soul. I reckon these creatures souls have some unusual or traits humans and monsters can not even posses. What have you seen?" The assumed scientist ask.
Frisk sighed, looking down at her hands and biting her lip.
"Well...the thing is." Frisk scratched the back of her head. "I don't understand this myself...but they have no souls." Frisk explained. The 3 men exchanged glances before the man in the suit spoke.
"What reason could you possibly believe these creatures want you, and alive?" He asked, adjusting the black shades he wore.
Frisk pursed her lips.
"The most likely scenario is that want my soul. The reason they could want it could be several things. They might want my determination to create souls of their own, they also might want to use it to power machinery." Saxon leaned forward, narrowing his eyes before speaking.
"A battalion of Special Forces units will soon be stationed here as well as an elite tank division." Frisk blinked, utterly confused at what the General meant.
"What?"
Saxon chuckled.
"Extra defenses." He explained. The man in the suit then cleared his throat.
"Are you sure that will even be enough? We could easily be attacked by their Terrorist allies and while we are weak those creatures join the battle and completely decimate our forces."
Saxon spoke "We could get some help from the 607th and the 2nd elite monster core, they should stand a fighting chance against those things." Frisk perked up at the mention of her adoptive fathers division and other monsters coming to help.
"The 607th is currently stationed in Afghanistan and is supposed to transfer to Colombia to respond to a town that had been taken over by these..things." The man in the black suit said.
"Well, we can send the 3rd Ebbot infantry, they aren't as well trained or as powerful, but they have triple as many units as the 607th." Saxon suggested, stroking his long black beard
"I'll take care of that after this meeting." The suited man told the General who nodded.
"Alright back to the point, we need you to remain her until these creatures have been exterminated. Until then, you have free rain of this place. You can go pretty much where ever you'd like. Any questions?"
Frisk shook her head.
"Alright, you can go." Frisk nodded and got out of her chair, the door opening and Sherman coming into view.
"Am I going back to my quarters now?" Frisk asked.
"Nope, we have some drills to go over Incase the devil decides the knock on our doorstep."
Daniel watched as evacuation Blackhawks
touched down to pick up him and his men.
He turned as two pairs of running footsteps could be heard.
"Shit!" Daniel exclaimed as he saw William carrying an injured Red in his arms beside Panzer.
He hopped off the crashed attack helicopter he had been standing on and ran to the two.
William laid her down on the ground in front of Daniel.
"Damn she got hit pretty bad, I'll go get a medic." He said before dashing off to find help.
Daniel came back a minute later with a solider carrying medical equipment.
"Someone get her in a sitting position, she doesn't look like she can do it herself." The medic said.
William nodded and got on one knee, helping her to sit up.
"H-hey I c..." Red passed out as she tried to protest.
The medic got on both knees and wiped the blood away with a cloth.
"How the fuck is she bleeding?" The medic asked probably to himself as he stared at the blood on the cloth.
"What are you talking about?" William asked.
"Monsters don't bleed, they have small dust like particles that function as blood. I don't understand this, she should not bleeding." The medic was utterly confused at what he was seeing.
"This doesn't matter right now, make sure she doesn't die or we both get decapitated by Mega!" Daniel exclaimed. The medic nodded and started to inject Red with a special liquid.
"Who is Mega?" William asked Daniel.
Daniel looked up from the medic.
"Oh, Mega is what Lucas is generally referred to during combat or in military premises. You know how superheroes have like code names? Like you're code name is the Slayer or something like that. That's Lucas's but we have to refer to him as Mega."
The medic stood up, carrying some sort of one handed device with Buttons on the top.
"She doesn't have a concussion, just got the wind knocked out of her. The...bleeding wasn't severe and seemed to originate from a piece of rock or wall piece." The medic explained.
"Well, that's good, let's get her out of here." Daniel said just as a Blackhawk landed in front of them.
William grabbed Red and carried her into the helicopter.
Urdak...
Urdak, a beautiful realm filled with floating white and yellow structures. A green purple and sometimes red sky. Hell offered the Kahn Makyr, the leader of Urdak a chance to repair her world, which was dying from the loss of the father. The father was a being that was able to produce Kahn Makyrs. Without a Kahn Makyr Urdak would fall into ruin.
Hell offered to preserve Urdak by providing the souls of worlds hell consumed to Urdak. This way, even when the Khan Makyr died, Urdak would live on.
So that's why Urdak wanted to consume earth. The Slayer had stopped her however and he was thought that he had killed her.
However here she lay in a small circular room overlooking 3 large portal rings outside. Her armor completely destroyed revealing her naked corrupt demonic body.
A Makyr Angel, tall white armored males that held golden staffs as long as a golden ring floated behind them wherever they went. This particular Makyr Angel, the advisor to Sentinel Prime was speaking into a hologram of a Golden Makyr.
"Father how long will it take for her to de-corrupt?" The angel asked.
The voice of VEGA, the A.I once overseeing the U.A.C facility on Mars, was backed up before being destroyed and put into Williams suit.
In order order to return home from Urdak, William had to put VEGA's memory inside a panel to activate the portal. Somehow it fit perfectly.
Before the portal activated, VEGA asked Samuel Hayden if he was the father.
De-corruption process will be complete in roughly 1 week 0 days and 7 hours
"Is there any way to speed up the process? We must make sure the Dark Lord does not gain possession of Frisk."
After the Khan Makyrs supposed death, Hell left Urdak to rot as the Khan Makyr was the only reason hell had an interest in Urdak. The Khan Makyr had the power to manipulate, bend others to her will. Without that power hell had no use for Urdak.
Now that I have my old archive back, I now know of an individual named Red. She has the dimensional sword of Urdak in her possession. As you should know that sword was built here on Urdak. If the energy can be harnessed from it and released into a beam which is directed at the Khan Makyr she will De corrupt within an hour
"Where do I find this Red Father?" The Makyr Angel asked.
She is located within the Anomaly, it will be difficult to get her out
"I will go, use the portal rings, and watch over the Kahn." The Makyr Angel said.
Understood Nensus, setting a course for Alaska.
3:00 AM
Red opened her eyes, bringing an exhausted arm up to them and rubbed away the crust before yawning with her hands out stretched.
She looked to the alarm clock which Lucas had placed on the bedside table in her quarters which had been a gift from him.
Reds eyes darted to the side of the room to see William in a large wooden chair staring at the wall. He still had his helmet on. Red didn't know why but it frustrated her. He never took the goddamn thing off!
William noticed her gaze and returned it.
"You haven't took that armor off at all." Red weakly said.
"Don't have to." He responded.
"I-I know but..." Red trailed off.
"But?" William asked.
"I...want to see you're face." Red responded quietly.
William didn't respond for a long time. He was trying to process that request.
"Why?"
Red looked up to the ceiling. "I...I don't know." William let out a brief grunt of amusement.
"Alright." William said, standing up and picking up his chair by the leg with one hand and dropping it down with a thud beside her bed.
He sighed and pressed two hands to his helmet, pushing up ever so slowly. Red gripped the bedsheets like a little kid in anticipation.
After an eternity of waiting, the helmet came off. Red's breath caught in her throat as a man with short black hair and brown eyes greeted her. There were several scars across his face, notably a large gash on his left cheek and a small one on his forehead.
Red thought she would find an aged war veteran under that helmet. But underneath was a young man. It wasn't exactly clear due to all the scars that coated his face. But if you looked closely you could tell.
"Wow..." Red found herself saying.
The lights suddenly came on and Reds eyes shut tight.
"WHAT!" Both human and monster turned to see a shell shocked Undyne drop a glass of water. Her mouth was wide open as she stared at William.
She blinked multiple times, as if she thought she was hallucinating.
"I'm not FUCKING HALLUCINATING!" Undyne shouted.
"You aren't I have a face." William said sarcastically.
"What's the-" Lucas peeked through the door and paused as if he had seen a ghost.
Undyne was the first to snap out of her trance.
"You decide to show her your face but not ME?" Undyne asked, jabbing a finger into her own chest.
"To be fair, I don't know who you are." William said. Lucas's smirked without his mask and Red seemed to divert her attention away from Undyne to Lucas.
"Well, didn't think The Slayer had a sense of humor, I guess I'm pleasantly surprised." Lucas stated, earning an irritated glare from Undyne.
Red sat up from her bed.
"I'm getting up." She just randomly said.
"Red, are you sure that's a good idea?" Lucas asked.
"I'm fine, besides remember I don't have a concussion." Red reminded him, getting off the bed.
"Well, we all have some things to discuss." Lucas said.
"Alright." William said and was about to retrieve his helmet when he noticed Red was carrying it, rubbing at the red symbol with her thumb.
William hesitated, before sighing and standing up and walking out the door.
Lucas and Undyne were walking down the hall. William jogged to keep up with them. Red ran up beside him shortly after.
"So, with the hell priests eliminated we sure as hell did some damage to the demons. Possibly stopping communications, I can't be sure. However Newko is still out there. We will hopefully find him soon. But in the meantime there is an issue in NYC. One of our scouts captured someone that was speaking on the phone to Newko. The scout said the man told him during interrogation he was going to meet with him about setting up a murder on a family. Apparently the family are very determined souls." Red stopped walking.
"I fought Newko a few months ago, he told me he wanted me to help him kill any soul with determination." Red said.
"Then why would he ally with fucking demons." Undyne asked.
"Those demons will manipulate people, promise them wherever they desire.
They must have told him they would kill any determined soul.
"But they are tricking him." Lucas stated.
"He will be killed in the end, but everyone will die, which means the determined souls. So he does get what he wants." William remarked.
Lucas nodded. "So, apparently 3 guys in regular civilian clothing attempted to break into his house and rescue the Baron that was captured. He was able to take them out, but 3 more came the next night. He thinks they are coming from the surrounding neighborhood. He thinks this because he clearly overheard chanting a few blocks down while he was walking his dog. Not to mention his dog happen to have barked in the direction of an orange figure. He says figure because by the time he turned to see what it was it was gone. So whoever wants to volunteer to come find these guys are welcome.
"I'm going." William stated.
"Well then I am as well." Red said. William looked down at her as if to ponder as if it was a good idea. However he didn't comment on it.
"Well, I have to go anyways. There are a few people who are worried about me and there isn't any signal out here." Undyne said.
"Alright we will leave at 8:00. I'd suggest getting all of your gear and equipment ready. The Cafeteria will be open at 6 for breakfast. I'll meet you all in the hanger at 7:30." Lucas's mention of a cafeteria got Red thinking about her own hunger. Lucas had given her a meal before leaving to kill the hell priests. But that was the last time she ate. And now she realized just how hungry she was.
Undyne, and William had broken off from the group. William going into Red's room, most likely to retrieve his helmet. Undyne ran off to get her armored from a locker room she stored it in.
This left Lucas and Red alone.
There was an awkward 30 seconds of silence. The two expecting the other to say something to break it. Lucas luckily decided to break it.
"You decided not to use your grandfathers sword." Red looked up from the ground. She searched her mind to how to answer that statement.
"I-I don't really feel comfortable using it." Red tugged at her shirt collar, while stating this.
Lucas was conflicted, he didn't know if he should ask or not as it could bring back some bad memories.
"I won't ask, I'd hate to bring back memories."
"Well, it's not necessarily that. I-I just don't know how to use it..." Red admitted, her face growing warm. Lucas stayed silent letting her continue.
"The sword is...special. It has a special type of magic that either requires a certain soul type or specific training. Something I don't have." Something about what Red said didn't seem truthful, like it was made up on the fly. Lucas didn't pry though.
"Well, speaking of training, Undyne has actually been training me for the last few months." Lucas said, leaving Red to narrow her brow.
"So, let me guess you saved her for that very reason?" Red asked, a smirk slowly starting to form on her lips. A couple month prior, Undyne had been injured in a fight. Lucas just had happen to find her and take her back to the outpost they currently resided in.
"N-no, that was never on my mind. I was going to give her medical attention and then teleport her back to the nearest town or city and be done with it. But then you happened." Lucas's voice went quieter as he uttered those last few words.
Lucas was referring to her immediately turning on him and running off in a depressed fit.
Red looked down at the ground in guilt.
Lucas sighed. "I wasn't trying to make you feel bad you know..." Lucas's expression took on a more saddened look.
"I know, I just..." Red trailed off.
She pursed her lips looking up from the ground to him.
"I think I might of had a mental breakdown or...something like that. I-I don't know." Lucas's eyes widened slightly.
"Oh s-shit I didn't realize that's what happened." Lucas said.
Red nodded.
"Of course, I know. It's just I was too ashamed after it happened to track you down. I just spent my time sulking away at bars. I just didn't know what to do." Lucas gave Red an empathetic smile.
"Hey, don't worry about It's not a big deal. Do you know how much that kind of shit happens to me? Usually Daniel is the one unfortunately hearing it the most." Red perked up at that. She didn't thought he would lash out at any of his men.
"When you seen the kind of shit that we've seen you are bound to develop things like PTSD. If you ever want to talk about it, you can." Lucas explained. Red smiled.
"Thank you." Lucas returned the smile.
"No problem."
There was another awkward moment of silence, the two never seeming to break it.
Unfortunately it was broken by a pair of loud thundering footsteps.
William stepped beside Red, looking down at Lucas with an expression that couldn't quite be placed.
"I'm probably interrupting something, but where is the bathroom?" The sudden question left Lucas speechless for a couple seconds before his attention was drawn to the Slayer. His helmet was back on and his armor seemed to have been cleaned.
"I thought you don't need ever need to use the bathroom?" Red asked.
William trained his attention into the girl, staring into her soul. How does she know this?
"I don't, I need to get rid of some shell casings that jammed my gun." Just a second after he said that, Red smiled and Lucas just shook his head.
"Go to the end of the hall take a right it should be the first door in the left." Lucas instructed. The Slayer quickly walked off and out of sight around the corner.
Red was still smiling.
"I'll see you tomorrow all right?" Lucas said, walking backwards.
"Okay, bye!" Red exclaimed and ran to where William was walking down the hall.
Lucas grinned at seeing the interaction between The Slayer and Red.
But it slowly faded at there were several things he began to realize.
One of the major things was that Red was becoming very close to William. Not in a romantic way, but Red was starting to look up him. This was either a bad thing or a good thing, He still didn't know. His..."style" could rub off on her. He had seen his work in the forest and heard from surviving soldiers at the old castle of what he was capable of. Though he wasn't a clear threat, he did not want Red to be like William at all.
Alright, that's another chapter done. Hope you all enjoyed. Hope you like that I had the Khan Makyr actually survive. She will serve an important role in this story. As for giving the Slayer the Wolfenstiens protagonists name, well it is very fitting. There is extensive proof that all the ID software games (besides quake I think) are all in the same universe. There are several videos on it. Now, I'm not going to tell you why The Kahn Makyr doesn't want the Dark Lord to gain possession of Frisk because obviously, that would be a spoiler. You might be super confused on why they aren't evil in this story. Well you have to remember that because of the disappearance of the Father there could be no more Khan Makyr's. The Khan Makyr made a deal with the Dark Lord because she was desperate. After she died her world would begin to die without a Khan Makyr in power. She was only trying to preserve her race. And if you think about it, Doomguy did murder an entire species by taking her out. So pretty much hell now knows Urdak has no value because of the supposed death of the Khan Makyr. So basically now that Urdak realizes they have been betrayed they are trying to stop hell and deny them any advantage they can. One of them being Frisk. And you'll see why they want her. But until then, have a great day.
