William stared up at the house from what looked like the backyard. All the windows had the blinds drawn preventing anyone from seeing inside.
William heard footsteps and turned to see Lucas, Red and the accompanying soldiers step through the portal before it closed.
Lucas pointed up to the roof.
"Alright prime your cables, we are going to climb to the roof and quietly invite ourselves into the house. No one will ever know we are here, is that understood?" Lucas asked.
William heard a noise behind him and turned to see the blinds of a window being opened to reveal a man in a leather jacket and a gun standing there. His face went pale when he saw the Slayer.
"We won't make a sou-" Lucas told the soldiers, not realizing they had been spotted until the sound of breaking glass was heard.
Lucas spun around and saw a broken window. William was also missing. A second after he realized that a gunshot rang out
a scream followed.
"Damn." Lucas cursed.
Red's lips curved into a smirk.
"Well I'm missing the fun." She sarcastically announced to Lucas, giving him a glance before jumping in the window after The Slayer.
William spotted a charging pinky demon and dashed out of the way, firing a grenade at it from his equipment launcher, causing the creatures back half to explode.
A terrorist came from the end of the hall, holding a pistol. He began to charge at the Slayer, yelling and emptying the magazine.
The man screamed as he was split in two by the super shotguns meat hook.
Pulling out his MG42, The Slayer began to dispatch a horde of imps that began to charge at him. Blood, gore and other bodily fluids showered the floor, walls and ceiling as the bullets tore through the horde.
The last demon fell dead, and with that he felt his ammo run try. He grunted in annoyance and swapped to his crucible, deciding not to waste any more precious ammunition.
William turned and saw a hell Knight with a gaping hole in it's stomach. It looked around frantically for something or someone. A flash of light appeared and a red rift appeared behind the Demon. Red emerged from it and stabbed the Hell Knight in the head and neck multiple times, sending it tumbling to the floor.
Red wiped sweat from her brow as the Slayer walked towards her. She looked up and released her sword from the demons neck.
"I thought I told you not to do that." Lucas suddenly said from behind me.
William turned to see Lucas standing in front of them, arms crossed. The rest of the soldiers were climbing through the window and beginning a perimeter sweep of the hallway.
"We got spotted." William said,
Lucas uncrossed his arms.
"Alright, that makes sense. They know we are here now, I suggest you lead in the front. I don't many of these men to die." William nodded, accepting the request and walking to the front of the group.
Red ran to walk besides William who was multiple steps ahead of the other soldiers.
The hall was long, ending in a staircase going down to the first level.
The wall the lined with photos of a family of a sort of bug monster race. In one of the pictures there seemed to be a child playing soccer in a feild. Red glanced at a photo. The photo seemed to be of the dad and mom both holding the smaller monster in their arms.
It seemed to make her uncomfortable, which William noticed but didn't mention. The group stopped at the end of the stairs.
The Slayer unholstered his Super Shotgun and put his foot on the first step. The meathook attachment suddenly grappled forward and attached its self into flesh.
There was a cry as the sound of punctured flesh could be heard. William grappled forward in the direction of the meathook and fired at a demon. The demon was larger, with 4 mechanical legs and a turret on top of its awfully large pulsing brain. That's all this demon seemed to be, a giant pulsing brain with a gun.
Part of the demons brains were spewed out onto the floor followed by blue blood that coated The Slayers chest.
The Demon screamed in agony, it's four mechanical legs clawing backwards and it's eyes bulged in pain.
Suddenly the demons screams were cut off to a whimper as William tore a fang from its mouth an stuffed it into the creatures eye.
A kick later and it flew into the wall, it's jaw separating from it's mouth and coming to rest at Red's feet.
She scrunched up her nose and kicked it aside.
Lucas surveyed his surroundings. The group seemed to be in a living room of some sort. With a large couch and a flat screen TV at the end of the room. To the left of them was a large door.
"That's the basement." Lucas pointed to the door.
William began to walk up to the door but was stopped by Lucas.
"We don't know what's in there, just let u-" William shoved him aside and was about to open the door when he heard several weapons being trained on him.
He turned around, eager to pull out his Super Shotgun which he had put away.
"Hold!" Lucas shouted. The weapons lowered and Lucas began to stand up.
"If you want to go in first, go ahead. But I don't need to shooting anything that isn't humans. There could be civilians down there. I don't want to see them in a bloody flesh pile. So take Red with you." Red walked up to the Slayer who turned away from Lucas and kicked open the door, almost tearing it off its hinges.
William stopped and stared at what looked like the endless darkness in front of him.
"Lucas." William called out.
Lucas walked over to William.
"Yeah?"
The Slayer pointed to the abyss.
Looking down into the abyss below, Lucas found himself staring at a seemingly endless darkness.
"So...do you know what we can expect?" Lucas asked, unlatching his gaze from the abyss.
"Demons, a lot of them."
The fortresses of Doom
Samuel sighed in relief, his hopes growing as he was pulled in a new capsule with the help of teleportation technology. With Hayden being plugged into the ships network, he had access to every inch of it. Meaning he could achieve feats such as this.
The capsule was moved into a nearby abandoned Sentinel Ship. In this ship Samuel was able to turn the power back on, and use the ships small amount of Argent energy to fuel the capsule. This would recreate his legs and repair the damages to the upper body. If he wanted to he could have used the Fortress of Doom to preform this task. But in doing so would most likely render the Crucible that powered the ship useless. So Hayden would drain this abandoned vessel of any energy it still had left. However this process would take a couple of days.
Once his body was repaired Samuel would travel to the Anomaly, bring the Slayer his weapons and help him to eliminate the demonic presence.
After what seemed like hours of walking, the group had reached the bottom of the stairs. They weren't all that surprised to be another seemingly endlessly hallway. However the walls were made of a dark chiseled stone. The ceiling also couldn't be seen, with cages stretching from it. Inside the cages were what could be called corpses at first glance.
However Panzer jumped as one reached out its hand.
It's skin was charred, every inch of it burnt to a crisp. Every single strain of hair was gone. However this person was covered in blood.
"H-help m-me..." It croaked out, closing its outstretched hand into a fist.
"P-p-please...?"
Panzer stood and stared at the rotting corpse, not daring to move.
Daniel grabbed him by the arm and pulled him backwards.
"Snap out of it kid, try to ignore them." Daniel told him, letting go of his arm.
Panzer nodded, taking one last look at the corpse and walking with the rest of the group.
"They seem to be barley alive." Red stated, sparing quick glances at the cages, not being phased by the spectacle.
"L-Let's keep moving..." Lucas commanded, clearly being uncomfortable.
A orange light could be seen at the end of the hallway.
William walked faster, gripping his weapon tighter, his eyes trained on the light ahead of him.
A vodka filled glass slammed onto the table, small amounts of the drink launching from the glass and onto the table.
"Aw shit, I forgot how good this one was!" A voice exclaimed. A man with dark skin, a well shaven beard, a black suit, pink tie was holding a glass of vodka in his hand as he relaxed in the small wooden chair, two men with black shades stood behind him.
Sitting across from him was the Marauder, his axe lying on table.
"Can I continue?" He asked, staring down at his axe.
"Go on, homie I'm listening." The man said, taking another sip of vodka.
The Marauder leaned forwards.
"I can guarantee your safety during our invasion of your planet, however I have I task you must complete in order for your safety to be granted."
"Tell is what you want."
"I can guarantee your safety, if and only you attack the newly established U.A.C H.Q here in this city."
The Marauder was about to continue when the man held up a hand to stop the demon.
"Hold up, you want US to attack the company that killed NASA and those SpaceX dudes? Is that really what you all do in hell, plan out ways to take out large billion dollar companies?" The man sarcastically asked.
The Marauder, not understanding sarcasm in the slightest just shook his head no.
"There is a far greater reason for why the U.A.C must be eliminated. But the more and more attacks that we do, the more it attracts...someone who could foil are plans. That is why if you and your criminals attack the building, it will be played off as criminal activity."
The man nodded repeatedly.
"And...uh would this person happen to be the president? Because I highly doubt that."
A slight chuckle came from the demon, catching the man slightly off guard.
"Actually he won't be breathing anytime
A scream could be heard followed by gunshots and the Marauder turned to the door.
"We have Company."
William grabbed the whip off whiplash demon who had cast its whip at him. The demons eyes grew as the armored man yanked on the whip, sending the whiplash hurling towards him.
The life faded from the demons eyes as The Slayers wrist mounted doom blade entered its skull.
Grabbing the whip, the Slayer cast it towards a Baron Terrorists head, the head of the whip curling around the terrorists neck. With a swift yank the terrorist was quickly relieved of any of it's vital signs as their head fell to the floor.
Turning 360 degrees, 2 shotgun shells were fired into the torso or the Imp that attempted to claw at him from behind.
Red ducked as a Hell Knight threw a punch aiming for her head. Gripping her sword tighter, Red removed the demons hand mid punch and slit it's throat, causing it to stumble back as it hold it's neck. Red grinned as it's neck was removed by the Slayers Super Shotgun.
Red scanned the hallway, there were still demons pouring in from the end or the hallway. The soldiers were holding up okay but the defensive line was soon to break as one of the soldier were injured by a fireball.
Lucas ran forward, teleporting into a imp and blowing it from the inside. A prowler teleported in front of him and was thrown back into the horde of incoming demons by a charged punch.
With the help of the Doom Slayer the groups first encounter with the demonic horde had left them with no casualties.
"We should keep moving." Lucas said and continued to walk down the hallway.
They walked through a doorway which led to a corridor which was lined with different cells.
Red soared a glance at one of the cells seeing the rotting remains of what was once a man pressed up in a sitting position against the wall.
The corridor ended with another large door. Behind the door, the low sound of demonic chanting could be heard.
"Alright, we'll slowly open this door a-" Lucas tried to explain his plan but was cut off by William throwing the door open.
The Slayer scanned the room, spotting 3 Archvile class demons crouched down, forming a triangle chanting to a pile of gore and bones that may upon the alter.
Standing in the corner of the room were 2 revenant class demons that seemed to be talking among themselves. A pain elemental circled the alter, seemingly examining the pile of viscera in front of it's one eye.
3 humans stood in the room. 2 were dressed in expensive black suits wearing black shades and sporting each a gold chain. Another human stood in the room, wearing a seemingly more expensive suit than the others. He wore no shades, and he sported 2 more gold chains rather than one. As well as 3 large rings on each of his fingers.
He was bent down examining a familiar wolf.
The Marauder ignited his axe, causing the soldiers to train their weapons on him.
The chanting suddenly stopped, and each demon in the room shifted their attention to the Slayer.
Red stared at the Marauder, who seemed to be returning the gaze with an unreadable expression.
"I knew we wouldn't be safe here for much longer..." The Marauder spoke, taking a few small steps towards the group, his boots echoing off the concrete floor and spreading throughout the silent room.
The Archviles stood up, each one of they're hands going up in a blaze.
A series of rockets were fired at 2 unexpected soldiers, turning them into a thick red paste.
The Marauder wasted no time and launched an argent projectile at the nearest soldier, cutting straight through their chest.
The pain elemental summoned 6 lost souls, making them spin rapidly in front of it, forming a undead shield, before it floated to the left corner of the room.
The archviles began to lob fireballs at the Soldiers, incinerating multiple before they summoned shields to block the incoming gunfire.
Red teleported behind one of the Archviles, thrusting her sword forward, aiming to stab its neck. However the demon had quick reflexes and spun around, thrusting it's palm forward and causing the sword to go into the hand instead. The demon growled using it's other hand to punch Red. She ducked and kicked the demon in the stomach, buying her enough time to yank her sword free and do a 360 spin to cut open the creatures stomach.
William shot forward, dodging several fireballs that were thrown his way before using the meathook attachment on his Super Shotgun to bring himself towards one of the Archviles.
William used the doom blade to slit the Archviles throat. Suddenly the sound of a rocket could be heard and William dashed to the right, causing the rocket to crash into the wall.
The Revenant screeched in anger, readying its shoulder mounted launchers again. With a swift motion, the Super Shotgun was replaced with the Assault Rifle. The Slayer's shoulder mounted equipment launcher fired a grenade which landed at the demons feet. Flesh and armor flew off beast, but it wasn't enough to kill it. William fired the Assault rifles grenade launcher which exploded on impact with the demons head. This sent blood and brain matter spraying on the walls.
Lucas sighed, this was the 5th time he dodged a swing from the revenant. He had disabled it's weaponry and now it was extra aggressive and he didn't have much time to react.
One more swing later and Lucas decided to jump over it and use a magic enhanced kick to send the Demon sliding on its back. Without delay the human tried to jump onto the Revenant who kicked him.
Red was getting irritated, her swings had connected with this particular demon several times but he just wouldn't fall. Red grunted with irritation and used her sword to teleport behind the Archvile, attempting to stab it through the back. She was genuinely surprised to see that it actually worked and her sword pierced the demons skin and went straight through it's back. However this wasn't enough and Red was now getting really pissed.
"You fucking piece of shit, how many times do I need to hit you!" She shouted as she tore the sword from the demons back, resorting to jumping on the 8 foot tall monstrosity and stabbing it in the head. This time it screamed in pain and fell to the floor, struggling to get back up. However Red would not have it and pressed one hand on the demons back as well as planting her leg on it's lower back. She then repeatedly thrust her blade into the demons exposed skull, not stopping even as the body went limp.
The final Archviles shield had been lowered and it's armor had been slowly eaten away by the soldiers bullets.
"It's not doing anything!" Panzer shouted.
"Doesn't matter, we just need to distract it so William can deal with this." Daniel explained. As if in queue, a yell rang out and a chainsaw was thrusted into the demons abdomen. Slowly, the blade traveled up the demons body before William pulled it out. The demons two halves falling to the floor.
Lucas grabbed the Revenants jaw as it attempted to claw at his face. Laying on his back, he decided to kick the demon using both of his legs while still grabbing the things jaw. The result was it flying across the room with Lucas holding it's jaw. In disgust the human threw the mouth piece at the demon, connecting with it's eye, killing it.
"Well I wasn't excepting this next level shit." A human voice said. William turned to see the man covered in gold standing rather calmly in the center of the gore fest. His two thugs struggled to wipe the blood of their suits.
"Now let's see what happens when you talk to this guy." He said, shifting his attention to Marauder who had been in the far back of the room, watching the carnage unfold from afar.
Two lost souls shot forward, speeding into 2 soldiers chests and exploding on impact, spreading their limbs to different places across the room.
Panzer launched his charged fireball at the pain elemental, who used his lost soul shield to block the attack, sacrificing its lost souls in the process. Rais, Panzer Daniel and 2 soldier focused their attention on the pain elemental, emptying their magazines into the shieldless demon. The bullets were able to pierce the demons skin, and with a hundred or so bullets, I quite literally, dropped dead.
The Marauder charged William, his eyes glowing green as he swung. The Slayer attempted to fire 2 buckshot rounds from his Super Shotgun into the demon, however surprisingly even for him, The Marauder dodged to the right and swung again, sending the Slayer straight into the wall.
Red was about to come to his aid when she spotted the Marauder. The two locked eyes for a brief moment. For some unknown reason, the grip on her sword slacked slightly.
The Marauder sighed before putting up his shield to dodge several magic projectiles that shot through Lucas's fist. His orange companion leapt forward, aiming to bite at the humans face. Lucas stopped, his hand glowing gray. The wolf came in range and Lucas threw a punch at it, sending it into the Marauders shield. With a grunt of annoyance the shield disappeared and the Marauder ran at Lucas, swinging furiously at the human.
Lucas dodged each and every strike, finding it harder to dodge with each swing. So he held up his magic enhanced hands to block a swing. However this sent him flying backwards and into the wall.
The Marauder dashed forward, turning around and blocking a strike from Williams crucible blade. The two exchanged several blows, none of them being able to gain an advantage over one another before the Marauder broke the flow of duel by igniting his Argent shield and thrusting it forward, briefly stunning the Slayer, giving the Marauder time to pull out his own Super Shotgun with one hand. However, William was quick, grabbing the barrel causing the weapon to fall out of his hand. The armored beast thrusted the crucible blade forward towards the demons head. The Marauder ducked, swinging his own blade, causing the Slayer to jump back to avoid the swing.
"Should we let him do his thing?" Daniel asked Lucas who was still recovering against the wall.
"Yeah, I'm sure he can handle it, let's get those guys." Lucas said.
The 3 men pulled pistols, firing into the occupied soldiers multiple times before being spotted and making their leave through a door on the left side of the room.
"After them!" Daniel shouted. The remaining soldiers ran through the door and after the 3 men.
"Red, come on he's distracted!" Lucas raised his voice slightly as he got up from the ground and saw Red simply standing there, staring at the Marauder.
"Red?" Lucas said, shaking her shoulder slightly.
She shook her head, blinking and looking up at Lucas.
"You alright?" Lucas asked, taking his hand off Red's shoulder.
She didn't respond, looking blankly at the ground.
Lucas turned, seeing the Marauder begin to overpower the Slayer.
"Look, we have no time for this right now, we have to focus on the situation at hand." Lucas reminded, before running off to join William.
Red stood there, her sword shaking in her grip.
She didn't seem to react as Lucas was thrown into the wall yet again and William was sent to the ground from a punch. Her eyes were glued into the Marauders, a feeling of anger, and familiarity growing inside her.
William stood back up, having dropped his Super Shotgun in and having no time to swap to any other weapons. For now he was left defending himself with his fists.
The Marauder began to swing at The Slayer several times, the blade missing every time. William then grabbed the Axe as it came down on his head, pulling it out of his hand. Before he could do anything with it, the weapon fell out of his grasps as the Marauders wolf tackled the human to the ground. The human struggled against the other worldly strength of this creature. This gave the Marauder time to retrieve his axe. He reignited it and walked toward the Slayer. The wolf began to struggle harder to hold him in place. The Marauders eyes flashed green as his argent axe was brought high above his head.
William became blinded temporarily as blood sprayed onto his visor. He quickly wiped the blood away to see a blade thrusted through the Marauders lower back.
As the demons eyes grew brighter, the sword was thrusted deeper into his back, causing a demonic scream to erupt into the room.
The wolf began to slowly began to dematerialize, atom by atom. The animals molecules transferring into the Marauders chest.
The sword was thrust deeper and the demon stopped moving. Slowly the blade was removed from the stomach of the beast, its body falling to the ground.
Red stood, her sword covered in blood.
"We should follow the others..." Red stated, turning away from William and running towards the door.
A groan of pain could be heard throughout the room as William stood up. He turned, seeing Lucas holding his head.
"Let's move." William ordered, before running after Red.
Lucas sighed, standing up and teleporting, I'll be it with quite some effort.
New York City
The door to Undyne's house stood open, her face held a rather annoyed expression as her eyes fell on a smiling Sans with an injured Asriel.
Although her annoyance wasn't towards the smiling skeleton. It was towards Asriel.
"Don't say anything...you are gonna tell me what the hell you've gotten yourself into this time." Undyne said. Asriel cringed as Undyne assumed that the teenager was
up to no good. Asriel doesn't have the cleanest record. A rather brief history of smoking weed and he has gotten into a few fights. Nothing compared to other teens in the area, but these things still raised alarms. Undyne has always been concerned for him, catching him smoking weed several times. Luckily he had stopped.
"Wow, Undyne you sure do trust the kid one hell the lot. No, he isn't smoking, no he hasn't beat up the school bullies. How about you let us in, before my bones freeze over in this chilly weather." Sans said. Undyne sighed with an eye roll at the skeletons lack of creative humor, stepping aside to let the two monsters in.
Undyne took a right, going into the living room and falling into the couch.
"So, I'm gonna need an explanation." Undyne said, eyeing Sans suspiciously.
Asriel plopped down onto the couch next to her, while Sans resorted to simply standing with his hands in the pocket of his hoodie.
"Well, maybe the prince over there could explain it."
Asriel's eyes flicked to sans for a moment in annoyance before coming to rest at the coffee table.
"Well...I was at the skatepark with Aveo just chillin. So I leave, and not even a minute after I get attacked by a fucking demon!" Asriel exclaimed.
Undyne just stood in shock.
"I wasn't hurt...the problem is this demon seemingly has control of a terrorist organization and somehow knew where I was..."
Sans piped in.
"It had other demons form a perimeter so it could fight Asriel."
Undyne looked to Asriel.
"How would you know that it wanted you? It could ha-"
"He saved Frisk from it before." Sans stated.
Undyne glared at Sans for interrupting her before sighing.
"I...what am I supposed to do?" Undyne asked, standing up.
"Well, you aren't going to be doing much. But Asriel is clearly being targeted the same way Frisk is. Best possible theory is the goat is Frisks best protection, hence why he would be targeted first." Sans explained.
Undynes mouth slightly hung agape. She had never Sans talk in a serious manner before. Even in similar situations he had been mostly calm and held a smile on his features.
"What do WE do?" Undyne asked.
TV was powered on, automatically tuned to CNN.
Everyone turned to see Alphys standing in the doorway holding the TV remote in her small hands.
"Alph-" Undyne tried to say but the reptilian monster but her hand up.
"Watch the news." She stated.
Everyone turned to the TV where CNN hosts were looking fairly shaken, and speaking about something incomprehensible due to the low volume.
Alphys began to turn it up and it was clear what was going on. The camera panned onto a female reporter.
"A large development here in New York City, especially Manhattan. With the rise of demon sightings and multiple confirmed deaths. Marshal Law has been declared in New York City. Citizens are to remain in their homes until given further orders. Don do you feel that this was the best way to tackle this issue here in New York City?" The camera then switched to a middle aged male reporter.
"Quick answer, yes. This was the only way to deal with this situation. I-I mean we don't know what is going on in this city. I had a friend who found his mother's mangled body in his apartment and he doesn't know why!" The reporter exclaimed with a clear sting of anger lacing his voice.
"And, let's not mention the ridiculous delay of these reports and confirmed deaths, films of these creatures happening, to the Army arriving and declaring marshal law! And we know who is responsible for this. And I don't even have to say the name of the president that allowed these deaths t-" the TV was turned off.
"We can't do much..." Alphys said, a worried expression on her face.
"If we are all going to be staying in here for awhile, I say we can't take our eyes off him. Sans, you and me could work in shifts to watch Asriel." Undyne explained, standing up off the couch.
Sans nodded in agreement but then his head stopped mid nod and his face shifted into a confused expression.
"What if he has to..." Sans stopped, his smile suddenly showing on his eye sockets.
"Milk here and there?" Sans asked to no ones amusement.
"Sans, this isn't time to be making jokes." Undyne sternly said.
"It was a joke but it was true." Sans defended himself.
Undyne sighed, looking to Asriel who looked slightly uncomfortable.
"I don't trust any of you not to look in the bathroom with me!" Asriel suddenly blurred out.
Undyne sighed. "No we will just stand by the door, if anything happens, I'm sure we will know."
"I-I guess we should close all the windows..." Alphys suggested.
"Yeah, good thinking Alphys." Undyne complimented the lizard before hoping off of her chair and closing all the windows in the room and then proceeding to go room by room and close the windows and draw the blinds.
Asriel leaned back into the couch "This is gonna be boring..." .
New York City.
"Get in you fucking bums!" The ring covered man screamed at his two thugs as he opened up a Makyr designed elevator.
One of the thugs repeatedly pressed a holographic down button as the Slayer sprinted towards them at remarkable speeds.
There was a mystical hum as the elevator roared to life and the doors began to close.
Before the elevator could descend further underground, the Slayer jammed his hands into the closing doors, halting its momentum.
The thugs shakily pulled out their pistols and fired upon the Slayer, to no avail. The bullets bounced off the Slayer, further developing the thugs desperation. One of the bullets bounced off Williams armor and ricocheted off it and into one of the thugs eyes, killing him.
William was able to pull the doors open long enough for him to grab the ring cover man by he collar and throw him out of the elevator, before letting doors go and letting the elevator fall with the one remaining Thug still inside.
"Ah fuck, now I gotta find new bodyguar-" The mans eyes bulged as William grabbed him by the neck and held him above his hand.
"Stop!" William turned and dropped the man with a sigh and he saw Lucas, Red and the remaining soldiers had caught up to him.
"We need him alive, he could have valuable information that we need." Lucas explained.
"I don't know anything's about those fucks. They came to my club one day after closing, just appeared outta no where!" The man rambled.
Lucas stepped forward towards the man.
"Alright how about we take you back to our place and you answer some questions." Lucas motioned for a soldier to come forward and cuff the man known.
"Alright Daniel I called a chopper to pick you guys up, we need to teleport to the "club".
Daniel nodded.
"Understood."
Lucas turned around and extended his hands to Red and William.
"Something I meant to show you, however it got overshadowed by this."
William and Red both grabbed the humans hand and in a blink of an eye they vanished.
They found themselves in what seemed to be some kind of office, with a large desk and a computer with a 3 monitor setup.
Lucas walked towards the desk and turned on the monitor on. Apparently the computer was already on and opened to something.
"Our scout had informed me on a strange message we received...I believe it's for you William." Lucas said looking at William.
The Slayer walked towards the computer and Lucas got out of the chair.
"Press the space bar and it will play."
The Slayer pressed down on the space bar with his oversized finger and heard a voice on the other end.
"I have access to this computers files, it's search history, and much more. I am aware that you are an ally of the Slayer. Fear not I am not your enemy. My name is Doctor Samuel Hayden, once the head of the UAC mars facility. But, you wouldn't know that. I am aware of the sudden appearance of the demons in your world. They currently have appeared in small pockets. But don't be fooled, soon this will be followed of millions and they will attempt to consume your planet. I have the knowledge and the technology to help you defeat this threat. And with your permission I will arrive at your location. Best of luck."
Red turned to William.
"Do you...know them?" Red hesitantly asked.
The Slayer simply nodded.
"Let him come." William spoke.
"This software, was designed by me so our organization could communicate without being spied on by other governments. Whoever this person is with a ridiculous voice changer, is most likely a hacker. A very intelligent one at that."
"Let him through." William repeated.
"Bu-"
William clicked the reply button and typed, "Come, NOW!" And he hit the send button.
"W-what the fuck we don't e-" Suddenly a loud sound could be heard in front of them.
Everyone stared forward and what appeared to be a wormhole began to appear just out of thin air.
With a blinding flash, the portal vanished.
Red opened her eyes looking straight ahead and being shocked by what she saw.
In front of her was a tall, armor plated robot. It's "eye" was a large blue light seemingly capable of vision. Right in front of the armored robot was various weapon floating in mid air. The robot seemed to be using his right hand to make the weapons.
"I brought you some gifts." Samuel stated, looking at The Slayer before closing his robotic hand and sending the weapons floating towards him, and dropping at his feet.
Like a small child, the Doom Slayer eagerly gathered him weapons, storing them in his infinite storage unit.
Red smirked as she saw the Slayers character change entirely at the sight of new weapons. Suddenly he stopped and stared at the floor as he put the last weapon away.
"There has been...a complication." Samuel started. " I needed to deliver the BFG 9000 back to where it belongs, in the capsule of the BFG 10000." William shot up, glaring at the Doctor.
Samuel shifted his attention to Red and Lucas.
"Who might you two be?" He asked.
"I'm Lucas leader of this organization."
"And I'm Red. I'm not really anyone important." Samuel stopped and stared at Red. For a moment it seemed like the Robot was staring into her soul.
"And, what are you?" He asked. Red blinked, looking to William who was analyzing his Heavy Cannon. She didn't realize this robot didn't know what a monster was.
"U-uh a monster..."
Samuel looked as if he came to a realization.
"Right..." He said, almost sounding doubtful that she was a monster.
"Now I suggest taking a seat somewhere." Samuel said, pointing to the couch in the back of the office.
Lucas decided to sit on the couch while Red and William stood up.
"Every demonic invasion needs someone on the inside to give the demons access to the world. In all of time and space, the slipgate is one of primary methods of travel among realities, space, time and dimensions, and is how I and the Slayer got here.
"WHAT?" Lucas suddenly yelled standing up.
Samuel turned to the human, rather annoyed.
"Your telling me you both are from another dimension?" Lucas asked in disbelief.
"Yes." William grunted angrily.
Lucas sat back down on the couch, fully listening now.
"Those three hell priests you kille-"
"How di-" Lucas was about to ask.
"Shut the fuck up!" The Slayer shouted.
Lucas jumped in surprise and kept his mouth shut, to Reds amusement.
"Those three hell priests who had killed were responsible with controlling the demonic invasion. They would have decided where the slipgate appear, how many demons would attack, everything. However now that they are dead they will be finding a new human specimen." Samuel explained.
"We captured a man a little while ago who seemed to be in League with the demons." Red said, causing Samuel to turn his attention to her.
"They are getting desperate. Without a slipgate they can't access this planet."
"Then why the hell are they appearing all over the entire globe?" Lucas suddenly asked.
"It's a shame that their are limits to even science. Several months after the Slayer put an end to the demonic invasion on our earth, the remaining demons on the planet vanished into thin air one day. There hasn't been a single demon sighting reported for 5 years." William suddenly turned to the Samuel.
"I know, you have only been in this world for only under a week. This is a rather strange phenomenon..." Samuel said as he began to pace back and fourth throughout the room.
"For the first day that you entered this world, time flowed parallel to our world. However as I began to view the slipgate on the second day, time completely stopped for an entire few years. I was able to repair myself during this time. Time began to start up again, however looking into the slipgate, it looked as if this world was in slow motion. I documented that one day in this world would translate to roughly 7 and a half months in our world. This is still currently going on." Red and Lucas were utterly perplexed by the what the robot that just said. Each of them looking to William for an answer neither of them were going to get.
"Tell us what to do." William demanded.
Samuel chuckled.
"Now that the hell priests have been eliminated, Hell must resort to one large event in order to consume this world." Samuel explained.
"The Icon of Sin." William stated.
"Exactly, Hell will use one being powerful enough to consume the Earth. However, their resources have been thoroughly exhausted. 2 demonic invasions in 2 different dimensions is spreading them thin."
"How do you know so much?" Red asked, eyeing the cyborg suspiciously.
"Ah, Red, Daughter of Novik the third." Samuel said. Red froze, staring at the cyborg mouth agape.
Lucas and Williams head's both turned to Red in unison.
"I-I don't know what y-your talking about." Red nervously hesitated upon speaking those words.
Samuel saw the confusion on the 2 humans faces and sighed.
"Oh, I forgot your a monster now. Anyways we have many pressing issues to discuss, however I think it would be better to discuss it somewhere...private." Samuel said, pointing to the slipgate.
Hawaii
Frisk sighed as she stared up at the ceiling. She had been laying comfortingly on her back for hours, bored out of her mind. So she just thought, thought of many things. Asriel, the demons, her parents. Just to name a few. Overall the day had been uneventful. She scrolled through social media, played a few games, and laid on her bed.
A buzz came from her right hand. Frisk slightly groaned and opened it to reveal her phone. She put the device closer to her face before powering it on and unlocking. She clicked on the messages app and immediately new message popped up.
Her lips began to curve upwards as she saw who it was from.
Asriel.
She clicked on the message.
However her slight gleeful smile suddenly vanished as she saw the contents of the text.
"Hey Frisk...so the entire city of New York is under Marshal Law. We aren't allowed to go outside and weekly rations are getting delivered to us. They said it was because of the amount of deaths from demons and overall sightings of them throughout the city. And I also got attacked by the same weirdo with the dog. I'm at Undyne's place right now, but I'm not sure when we will be able to leave our homes."
"Omg are u ok?" Frisk texted back. Surprising, or unsurprisingly considering that everyone in New York City was stuck inside, Asriel responded almost instantly.
"Yeah, I'm alright but now I gotta get watched by either Sans or Undyne to make sure I don't get jumped again. Oh, and Papyrus has been sleeping for like 2 days, I don't even think he realizes what's going."
"lol, he likes to do that a lot. Remember when we were on vacation in Mexico last year? Well Sans told me he slept for as long as we were on vacation."
"Wow, I don't know how I didn't know that."
"It's boring in here."
The 3 dots appeared in the screen to show that Asriel was typing. However, they suddenly stopped for half a minute.
"Frisk Sans won't stop staring at the wall talking about the military base your on in Hawaii."
"That's strange..."
A loud crash could be heard in the hallway.
"He says he can see the demons, He's probably trying to scare me or something.
As if on queue the door to Frisks room burst open and Sherman slammed it shut. He leaned against it, his rifle in hand breathing heavily.
"What's going on?" Frisk asked.
Sherman cursed under his breath and made eye contact with Frisk.
"Those goddamn things got into the base!" Sherman exclaimed.
Frisk jumped off the bed.
"W-what can we do?"
Sherman grabbed his radio and turned it on.
"This is Sergeant Sherman, multiple hostiles spotted advancing towards the target, requesting immediate assistance."
The radio crackled to life and a voice on the other end responded.
"Sending all units to your position, hang tight kid." Sherman sighed in relief and relaxed his grip on his weapon.
However, fate has never been a friend and the second Sherman relaxed, two orange energy blades pierced his back.
The monsters eyes went wide in shock as the two blades were removed from his body, he stumbled back in far to much pain to even scream.
The door was kicked in by a Dread Knight who scanned the room, spotting the terrified monster and depriving him of his arms. Sherman screamed and stared at his now handless arms for only a second before he was smacked with one arm into one of the windows, causing him to fall screaming into the rocky beach below.
The demon turned to Frisk who was cowering with wide eyes in the corner of the room.
However it was distracted by a bullet piercing it's back. Not killing or injuring the beast but causing enough pain to cause it to sprint towards the troops that had opened fire on.
Frisk knew she only had a brief window of time before those Soldiers were long gone and she was next. She frantically searched the room for a possible escape route. She ran to the window looking down into the rocky beach the main reason she turned away where the army fatigues and dust strewn about. Second was how high up she was. She must have been about 30 stories in the air.
The Dread Knight turned, facing Frisk as it was covered in blood.
"Now now dear, remember you have another job. We will save her for later." A feminine voice
Echoed throughout the hallway. The Dread Knight quickly stepped out of the room, turning and walking down the hall. Frisk strained her eyes to make out the figure that walked past her door. She couldn't make out any features, except for a smirk, blood red eyes and a familiar knife.
Thats another chapter complete. Now not much for authors notes but I got a few things. First, these are gonna become a lot easier to write and writers blocks won't become as frequent now that the story is starting to come together now. Second I'm honestly not sure how long this is going to be and I don't have a planned ending as of yet. But I am brain storming. And third when Samuel Hayden mentioned four demonic invasions he was mentioning doom 3, and the undertale universe. He was pretty much saying how hell was invading the earth of each dimension simultaneously. The reason he didn't mention the "rebooted" doom dimension or the original 3 games (64 included) is because the Slayer has put an end to the demonic invasions in that dimension.
