A little while ago, I posted up a chapter where Isabella and her mother were talking. As everyone can see, I received a couple of suggestions to 'flip the coin' and have Phineas chat with his mother. Sorry, you've asked for it; so here it is.
Linda and Phineas (aged 13)
Requested by: Axis22 & Whythis
Linda opened the door to the coffee shop and let her son precede her in. "What would you like to drink?" She asked him.
Phineas took a look at the selection of treats. "I'll have an apple cider, thanks Mom. I'd also like the Rocky Road brownie." Linda laughed lightly. "Of course, go find a table. I'll be there in a few minutes."
Phineas sat down. It's a bit strange that Ferb's not here. Mom never treats one of us out without the other. He thought to himself. Oh, that's right. Dad took him to an appointment, then he's got a date. I really need to muster the nerve to ask Isabella out; it's driving me crazy. She constantly flirts with me, expecting me to do or say something. It's just I'm so nervous with everyone standing around watching.
Linda came back with a tray and sat down. "Phineas." She began. "Vivian and I have noticed that Isabella's being, how should I say this… a little forceful in trying to get you to notice her." Phineas nodded, took a sip of his drink then muttered. "That's an understatement."
Linda smiled and looked at her son. "I thought you should know, Isabella's got a little crush on you dear." Phineas started to turn red. "Really? I hadn't noticed." He said sarcastically then turned to face his mother. "Do you really think I'm that oblivious?"
