Monty & Ferb

Requested by The Angry American

15-year-old Ferb was standing in line waiting to place his order. I wonder who Monty is. He thought to himself as he paid and took his tea to a table.

He contacted me. He mentioned something about broken equipment he needs fixed. The teen thought as he sat and pulled out his laptop to re-read the e-mail.

The door to the coffee shop opened and a tall brown-haired man walked in. He walked up to the barista, placed his order then stood beside Ferb. "You're Ferb?" Monty inquired and the teen looked up and nodded.

Monty took a seat. "Aren't you a little young to... anyhow; I've got some pieces I need fixed and I'm told that you're the man for the job." Ferb raised an eyebrow at him and Monty continued. "Look at these pictures and tell me what's wrong with the equipment." He said and passed a set of photos over.

Ferb looked through them, then looked at Monty. "Some of the protective plating is missing. Someone's going to get hurt if they're shot in the back again." He said and Monty took the photos back and examined them. "I never noticed that." Monty then looked to the teen. "How did you know this ani – person was shot?"

Ferb cocked his head to the side and his eyes went wide as he silently conveyed the message. I'm not blind.
