Chapter fifteen
"Bobby let's go back to Rangeman and run this name through their computers"
"Sounds like a game plan" Bobby started to drive to Rangeman. When he got there, he used his key card and the gate to the underground garage came up.
"Hey Bobby, and Steph, welcome back." Hal told them with a smile
"We need to use the computer Hal it is important." Stephanie told him.
"Sure, I will let Ranger know that you are here" Hal got on the phone, to Ranger while Bobby and Stephanie went inside Rangeman.
They went to the control room. "Excuse me, I need to use the computer data base." Stephanie asked the control room worker.
"Babe, Bobby what is going on?" Ranger asked them.
"One moment Ranger" Stephanie told him as she type in the name.
"Steven Hacker"
"Bingo," She turned around and found the name. "Steven Hacker distant cousin of Joe Morelli, disinherited, employed by Lock Up's. It gets better he had a meeting with one of our employees Hank and Lester."
She turned to face Ranger and Bobby.
"Ouch" Stephanie said.
"Love, I think you should lay down for a little while. Let's get you back. You have done enough today." Bobby told her, as he helped her up.
"Ranger we need to meet for conference some time tomorrow." Bobby told him and he took her back to the place where they were staying for the night.
When they got back to the safe house, Bobby helped Stephanie to bed. "Bobby I will be fine I am just tired."
"Well I want to be sure I am calling Danny" Bobby told her.
He got on the phone, and Danny answered. "Hey Bobby what is wrong Steph is not acting right can you come?" He asked him.
"I am on my way" Danny said. Bobby hung up and waited for Danny.
Danny showed up a few minutes later. Bobby let him in.
"Hey Danny come on in." Bobby led him into the bedroom. Danny saw her laying in the bed.
"Hey Stephanie how are you feeling?" Danny asked her.
"Better, I just felt a little pain in my stomach." Stephanie told him.
"Okay let's take a look," He took out the portable ultrasound machine, and said, "Everything looks good."
"Maybe you at some bad food if you are not better in the morning I will order some tests." Danny said and then walked out with Bobby.
"Just keep an eye on her." Danny told him. "I think that maybe she at something bad, if you want I can take some blood."
"That would be great, but that might be a problem she does not like needles." Bobby said, "But maybe I can talk her into it."
"My love, I need to ask you something, will you please give Danny some blood for the baby's health." Bobby asked his wife softly.
"You will be with me right," Stephanie looked at him
"Yes, I will be" Bobby said as sat down by Stephanie while I was in bed.
Stephanie put her head in Bobby's lap, and stuck her arm out.
Danny stuck the needle in her arm. Bobby just stroked her hair, "almost done love."
"Done, just take it easy tonight Stephanie and relax. I will have the blood work back soon. Just but I think it is just food poisoning." Danny told her.
"Then why isn't Bobby suffering too?" Stephanie asked .
"Ouh, because he is not the one who is carrying. You are so your stomach is more
sensitive" Danny said, "I will get you the results as soon as I can." Danny took the blood with him as he left.
"Love, come on it is time for bed." Bobby said as he helped her get ready for bed.
The next morning, Stephanie was up walking around feeling great.
There was a knock at the door. "Hey Ranger, come on in" She said.
"How are you feeling Babe," Ranger asked her.
"fine." Bobby came out of the bedroom without a shirt. "What is it Ranger?" He asked.
"I need to talk to Grandma." Ranger told him.
"Oh boy" Bobby stated.
"Okay back to my in laws." Bobby told them.
Stephanie grabbed her jacket, and then all three of them walked out of the house to talk to Grandma.
About twenty minutes later, two Rangeman SUV's parked out side of Steph's parent's house.
They walked into the Plums, when they got in. Helen ran up to Stephanie, "Your Grandmother is gone."
"Thank god" Frank said.
"I woke up this morning and she was gone and she not answering her cell phone."
Stephanie took out her phone and called her Grandma.
"Gran, where are you?" Stephanie asked her
"I am in Las Vagas getting married." Grandma Mazur told her granddaughter.
" Again" she answered her grandmother.
"Yes, and he is very healthy." She answered Stephanie and then hung up.
Stephanie just started laughing.
"Your grandmother is missing and you are laughing." Helen yelled.
"Sorry mom" and Stephanie walked out of the house laughing again.
All of a sudden Morelli came up to the house. He saw Stephanie laughing.
"Hey cupcake, I need to speak to your grandmother." Morelli told her.
"Pick a number" and then Stephanie broke out laughing again.
"Joe our grandmother are nuts" Stephanie told her, then she patted her stomach.
"Sorry little boy, your great grandmother is nuts." Stephanie told him.
"Love, Grandma is in Las Vegas guess what she's doing?" Stephanie told her husband.
"Oh no not again" Ranger said
"Yep she is getting married again, let's go get her and bring her home." Stephanie told them.
"You want to tag along Morelli" Ranger asked
"Yes, lets go" all four of them took of for Las Vegas." Stephanie told everyone and they all left the Plums together.
