Candace and Suzy

8-year-old Suzy Johnson walked into the coffee shop with her 21-year-old brother Jeremy. "Candace wanted to treat you out today." He told her as he waved to his fiancée.
Candace watched and smiled as Jeremy brought his younger sister over. She pulled out her wallet and looked inside. "Suzy, thank you for coming today." Candace greeted the young member of the Johnson clan. "Candace." Suzy replied coldly.
Candace forced a smile, her eye twitching. "Would you like something to eat or perhaps drink? I've heard that the hot chocolates are very good." Suzy looked questionably to her brother who nodded. "I'll see you later Candace." He said then left.
Suzy studied Candace a moment. "Why are you being so nice all of a sudden?" Candace looked around for a witness or possibly an alibi then smiled at the little girl. "I've got something very important to tell you." Candace said as she leaned in close.
Suzy followed suit and leaned in close as well. Candace glanced around again then looked directly at her. "In a few months, you're going to be an aunt."
