Chapter 6

Nanami entered the huge dinning room and Otoya was slightly astound when Nanami entered his field of vision. Ren noticed this and said,

"Ah~ The little lamb has joined to us for our dinner. Aren't you going to say something sire?" Ren smirked and nudge Otoya's arm.

"Urusei Ren." Otoya whispered to Ren and went towards Nanami.

"Oi." Nanami flinched when Otoya's called her.

"I - I have a name you know." She replied while stuttering and this made Otoya's eyebrow rose up.

"Why would I even need to know your name?" He said coldly to Nanami making Ren, Syo and Masato sighed as how Otoya respond to Nanami.

"Haruka please join our master for dinner." Tomochika said as she went closer to Nanami.

"I'm sorry Tomo - chan but I just don't feel like-"

"Please..." Otoya muttered.

"H - Huh?" Nanami looked at Otoya who is looking down and scratching his nape.

"Please join me for dinner... Nanami." Nanami shocked from the sudden change of Otoya's attitude. The subjects just started at Nanami and this made Nanami sighed and said,

"I - I don't know about your situation and the sudden change of attitude but I'll accept your offer." And this made everyone sighed in relief and suddenly a yellow chick wearing glasses with a huge ahoge entered the room and said,

"Minna - san~ The dinner is ready~"

"E- Eh? P - Piyo - chan?!" Nanami exclaimed when she saw a live Piyo - chan in front of here.

"Hmm? I'm not Piyo - chan. My name is Shinomiya Natsuki. I guess you are our guest for tonight." Natsuki replied with a smile to Nanami.

"Y- Yes that's right." She replied while looking at Natsuki still amazed by the fact that he looks like Piyo - chan.

"Ahem." Otoya lightly coughed to get Nanami's attention back to him making Ren and Syo snicker at the background.

"Have a seat Haruka." Tomochika offered and hopped towards where Syo and Ren staying, then Nanami went to her seat at the end of the table..

"Natsuki, serve the food." Otoya ordered while going to his seat on the other end of the table. Natsuki clapped his small wings and then serving carts are going in the dining room and this brought Nanami to shock.

"All objects are moving on their own..." Her voice trailed off then suddenly a serving cart stopped right beside her and the bowl of soup jumped off the cart together with the different utensils and they went in front of Haruka, the bowl stopped moving and the utensils laid down on the table.

"Would you like a cup of tea Haruka?" Tomochika went to her together with Syo.

"Yes thank you very much Tomo - chan." Nanami smiled at Tomochika and Syo gaped at her when he saw Nanami's smile.

"Oi Syo! Take off your hat." Tomochika nudged at the gaping teacup. Syo was cut off from gaping and said,

"Oh uh yeah. I'm sorry Nanami - san." Syo removed his hat and Tomochika jumped so high and poured the tea for Nanami and landing perfectly on the table.

"Oh! That's amazing Tomo - chan!" Nanami clapped her hands, amazed by the short performance of Tomochika.

"Saa Nanami - san your tea is ready." Syo hopped near Nanami's hand and she grabbed the handle then she was about to place her mouth on the teacup when suddenly,

"Ahem." Otoya coughed loudly that caught Nanami, Syo and Tomochika's attention and from his action this made Ren smirk and said,

"Oya oya~ You have been coughing a lot sire. Do you need water?"

"No I don-"

"Hahahaha! That tickles Nanami - san!" Syo laughed when Nanami took a sip of tea and this made Otoya glared at the teacup.

"Tsk."

"You know that clicking your tongue is not a proper manner sire." Masato stated and Otoya just sighed and stared at Nanami, who is having a good time with Tomochika and Syo.

"And staring as well." Ren added.

"Nanami." Otoya called and she flinched when he called her name.

'By just the sound of my voice, she's flinching and does not make eye contact with me. I know that this isn't happening.' Otoya thought.

"Y - Yes... Umm... Ittoki - sama?" She stuttered and not making eye contact with Otoya.

"You should taste the soup. It won't taste good if its cold already." He stated quickly and shortly.

'What the hell am I saying to her?' He exclaimed inside his mind.

"O - Oh... Yes I should taste it." She put down Syo on the table and took a spoon and tasted the soup. Nanami looked up and she noticed that everyone in the room was staring at her. Knowing Nanami, she couldn't bear the eyes in front her, she stuttered,

"W - Why are you looking at me like that?" She let go of spoon and covered her eyes

"Eh? Why are you covering your eyes Haruka?" Tomochika said.

"I - I know that I have weird eyes and I'm odd." She replied

"Odd?" Otoya asked Nanami then she removed her hands from her eyes and said,

"A lot of people from the town say that I have weird eyes and they say that I am odd because I did nothing but read books. They look at me like I'm someone not from earth." She explained while looking down on her lap.

"I see..." Otoya replied and somehow he felt a pang on his chest when opened up to him and everyone in the room.

"Nanami - san we-" Masato was about to break the ice that is evident in the room but Otoya stopped him and everyone in the room was shocked by his actions,

"I - I appreciate that you answered my question. I know that you are still overwhelm and surprised by the fact that inanimate objects like them can move on their own but can I ask you one thing?" Otoya said while staring at Nanami.

"W - What is it?" She asked and looked at Otoya's direction.

"Can you give me some time so I can explain to you about what happened to this place?" Otoya asked in a serious tone to Nanami and to this everyone in the room was in complete shock and Nanami's eyes were wide.

"A - Are you sure about this sire?" Masato asked nervously to Otoya.

"I'll wait." Nanami replied shortly and everyone in the room looked at her.

"I do want to know what has happened to this place. So please I - Ittoki - sama take your time." She replied and everyone sighed in relief and smiled at Otoya.

"Well someone is growing up." Ren smirked and teased Otoya for his sudden outburst.

"I can't believe my eyes. The young master is changing." Masato smiling to himself.

"H - Hey!" Otoya tried to stop his loyal subjects from teasing him and then he heard a giggle. And it was from Nanami, she was giggling lightly and Otoya looked at her and then,

'That smile. Her laugh. Its like-' His thoughts were cut off when Natsuki came in the dinning room again and exclaimed,

"Minna - san~ The next course will be coming in right now~"

"I see. Bring them in Natsuki." Otoya coughed and gave the signal to Natsuki.

"Understood Ittoki - sama." And again Natsuki clapped his small wings and a new batch of serving carts entered the room this time with a silver cloche on top of it. The silver cloches opened by themselves revealing a Sautéed Sea Scallops with Caramelized Apples and Chicken Livers. The small bowl hopped off the serving cart and went in front of Nanami and Otoya respectively.

"Please enjoy your entrée sire and Nanami - san." Masato bowed and followed by the others as well.

"I will and thank you very much." She replied Masato with a gentle smile and he was awestruck with her smile.

"Ahem... No need for gratitude Nanami - san. You should thank sire here for inviting you for dinner."

"H - Hey Masato!"

"I - I see... T - Thank you very much for inviting me for dinner Ittoki - sama." She showed a gentle smile and made a light bow of her head as a sign of gratitude to Otoya.

"Ittoki..." He muttered while looking away form Nanami.

"Hmm?" She looked up and titled her head sidewards.

"Y - You can just call me Ittoki. Remove the -sama." He said while lightly scratching his cheek to hide his blush.

"Hai Ittoki." She replied back feeling more comfortable talking to Otoya.

'His attitude is somehow changing from the way he was at the tower.' She thought while staring at Otoya and he noticed this.

"Hey we should start eating. Cecil makes good sea scallops." He broke the silence and he started eating and Nanami followed as well. The other subjects were staying on an empty serving cart watching the scene behold to them.

"We might a chance of changing back." Ren muttered quietly.

"I know right. Ittoki is slowly changing his attitude and actions to Haruka." Tomochika added.

"Well, we should leave them for a while and let them enjoy their dinner." Masato stated and lightly tapped the serving cart signaling it to move our from the dining room.

"He better not mess this up. I really hope we can go back to our old bodies." Syo replied.

"We shall see the outcome soon enough." Masato stated.

'I just hope that he can tell to Nanami - san our situation and I hope as well that she would understand it.' He thought to himself as they exited the dinning room leaving the two alone.

Secondly, I am sorry for a very very long hiatus I was so busy with work (yes I entered the adult world) so I did not have the time to update my fanfics other than this one.
