Chap 15: Experiment X Re-connect X Separation

Everyone goes silent, unable to spoke due to the terrifying scene they have in front of them. Two fighters whom are not in their usual demeanor are going to having a massacre, well that is what they thought from seeing the fighters. Even they grew tense when nothing has happened yet. The tense atmosphere is so thick that it feels you can cut it with a knife.

"This silence is killing me" Killua spoke yet due to people not saying a thing, his voice come out clear and loud. Realizing his tone, he continued with a hushed whisper "Both of them are not doing anything, and unbelievably, no one is even thinking of escaping"

Gon nodded as she heard her boyfriend's word. She was surprised to see how Kallua's eyes has turned Scarlet (it was actually Crimson) , just like Kurapika when he is angry or thinking about spiders. Did Kallua actually related towards Kurapika?

Karuze only looking at his host with audible gulp as he hopes for the worst not happening. His eyes darted at Hisoka in shadows whom clearly aroused at the sight of both of the fighters in the killing demeanor. He tries to ignore the hushed groan and moan coming out from Hisoka's as he grit his teeth while looking at Kallua once more.

Wing didn't let his eyes off from Kallua. He actually already heard about this phenomenon from Chairman Netero, about Kallua's strange power. Wing took it seriously because Chairman Netero didn't said in easy going tone which made Wing aware that Chairman Netero sees that as a serious threat. He never thought he would be able to witness it in person.

`How terrifying. The way things looking up now, it would be dangerous to remain here. Yet, consider nothing happens yet and I'm still curious, I shall remain here for few moments' Wing thought as he sees Kallua and Fraze in turn.

It was then, as if it is plan to be, a drop of water suddenly splash towards the arena, with a clear sound.

It was the moment for the fight.

Two of them starts to roar loudly with everyone instantly cover their ears, at the same moment both Kallua and Fraze starts to charge towards each other. As Kallua strike with his claws, Fraze countered it with his katana, in same time, the arena tiles beneath them starts to broke down due to their monstrous aura, earning gasp and shriek of surprise from the audience. More and more they begin to strike and counter with insane laugh before then the more the arena starts to shake and collapse. The audiences letting out more shriek and screams as the arena shook with every of their movements.

It was then, without anyone expecting, Kallua receive a slash from Fraze in purpose, across his chest, drawing blood out from his body. Instead of cry out of pain, Kallua grin maliciously as he let his hand grip Fraze's katana, drawing more blood from his hand. That action made Fraze gives a surprised smile.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! BLOOD! PAIN! MORE! GIVE ME MORE OF THEM!" Kallua insanely demand as Fraze grin happily then giving what Kallua wants, slashing and stabbing Kallua all over his body and few scratches at his face, causing people to have look of horror at Kallua's turning scarlet all over with his blood.

"This.. THIS IS INSANE!" Killua yelled out, unable to bear to see Kallua's blood gushing out, forming thick puddle beneath him. "STOP THIS KALLUA! YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!" Yet Killua's plea reach deaf ears as Kallua merely laugh and keep laughing insanely as Fraze keeps drawing more blood out of him then stain himself and his katana with Kallua's blood at same time.

"YES! YESS! As I thought, the sight of you basking on your blood-" Fraze grins with murderous eyes as he letting out a big smile in ecstasy with a plus of aura leaking "YOU LOOK TRULY BEAUTIFUL, KALL-CHAN!" With that, Fraze goes in giving Kallua, a stab through his stomach which Kallua accepts eagerly.

"Urghh!" Karuze cough out blood suddenly, alerting the others. Instantly they look at Karuze with worried look.

"Ah..I'm, fine" Karuze said as he wipes his blood from the corner of his mouth "Host and I share same condition, in sharing the pain to me inside so I don't have wounds" Karuze starts to grasp to breathe "I, doubt I will last long, in protecting you guys" Karuze tries to control his breathing and at same time, his barrier seems slightly fading "If I'm gone, please escape. I do detect Fraze malicious aura have slight similar effect like the bloodlust aura. Even in mere slight similar, its lethal for you guys" Karuze glance at the four of them gently, causing them to widen their eyes " please, promise me that" Karuze eyes getting hazy as he feels like about to pass out in any moment.

"Karuze!" Gon yelled out in panic, holding Karuze gently"What should we do!?" She turn her head in Killua's at instinct.

"This is bad!" Killua grit his teeth, unable to believe Kallua is going for suicide. Thought of unable to see Kallua anymore made his heart wretch in pain. This pain is far worse than the true bloodlust aura Kallua emitted "Damn it!" Killua let his eyes landed on Kallua as he yelled with tears falling down to his eyes "FIGHT KALLUA! DON"T YOU DARE DYING ON ME!"

That yell was like a signal, as Fraze launch another attack with his katana with a laugh, the katana suddenly threw off of Fraze's hand.

"Wha-" Fraze widen his eyes, before he could react, something red flash across his eyes then instantly whack him off until he clashing the wall in high speed with loud crash.

As everybody questioned what happened, their answer suddenly shown in front of them where Kallua is standing. Behind him, his pool of blood starting to move around like tentacles, then some blood moves at his left and right direction, then starts to levitate around him in bubbles like before it was form into sharp point end crystal like filled with aura. With a slight wave of his hand, those blood like crystal suddenly charge towards Fraze, crashing through him and wall. As if it wasn't enough, he instantly let more of his blood out of his wound by putting more aura for letting it flow and infused with his Nen, forming more large pool of blood around him that he form around him to create bloody cloak scarlet red, like a real clothing along with a hood cover his head, then creates blood scythe which made Fraze grins, seeing Kallua look like a bloody grim reaper.

Everyone are flabbergasted, unable to figuring out what was happened. Killua look sick from the sight and scent of the bloody arena since it reminds him when he perform a massacre, the same with Gon for her sensitive nose keep being flooded with blood scent as she also being reminded when Hisoka is killing during Hunter Exam in Numere Wetlands . He can't believe that Kallua's power is from his blood "His blood, they are moving!?" Killua questioned as Wing too unable to fathom it "He seems even easily using it without difficulty! Consider every attack he just did are different category that relatively far from other category! How is this possible!?"

"Its the effects of being true bloodlust mode, we called it, The crimson bloom in soul"

Others turn to see Karuze, still grasping for breath "In true bloodlust mode, he is using blood, worse it is his own blood then keep producing more when its not necessary. The more object you are truly cherish would make it stronger. In bloodlust mode, the strongest would be host's blood. And because of using his own blood, host able to use all aura category include specialization, in 300% in the true bloodlust mode."

"Three.. Three hundred percent!?" Killua yelled in disbelief while Karuze nodded "That is why usually I restrain him so he wont use aura in his mode. Even when in the Hunter Exam, I merely gives him bloodlust that I can control so he wont goes berserk"

Gon look at Karuze with worry "But that means Kallua is really strong then, without you?"

Karuze shook his head "This is a double edged sword move, he drew too much blood. Even though just few liters of blood would sufficient, especially him standing with all that blood still gushing out is already frightening. Not only that, he can't control his bloodlust yet!"

Gon nodded, seems getting the important basics "So I guess, if Kallua able to control it.."

Killua grit his teeth "He would be the strongest Nen user ever existed"

"And the most dangerous one too" Wing piped in " Even there seems to be no side effects of him using that mode if he perfectly controls it"

"Yeah... if he can spare few liters of his blood that is" Karuze said weakly as he continued "Then again, there's risk of anemia had he been keep using this method so its not advisable for it"

The audience suddenly shouts causing them to turn their sights back on stage. At that moment, they shout in surprise in seeing the match.

"Bloody Rain!" Fraze lets out his attacks once more as he jump high, this time with enhanced effects as the speed increased along with the thickness of the spear like aura. However Kallua merely push his hand forward,causing his blood underneath him with tremendous aura infused to move in front of him, creating shield that repels all of the bloody rain attack. As he withdrew the shield, he too, jumps and throw his scythe to slash Fraze whom managed to block it with Kou and repels it , though he didn't expect the blood scythe suddenly comes towards him once more then shape shift into a staff that extend, successfully hitting Fraze's right shoulder that are not protected, causing him to groan loudly as he could feel his shoulder has broken, might be also dislocated.

"A..Amazing, even he can control his blood in distance" Zushi gaped with the mastery of Manipulation Kailua has, definitely admitting that his level of Manipulation were nowhere near current Kallua's level now.

"Tch!" Fraze clicks his tongue as he tries to jump then attack in mid air while the shape shift staff turns back into scythe then returns to Kallua's hand. Instantly Kallua gives another slight wave of hand, causing his bloody cloak letting out a big spring in jelly glob slime like towards Fraze whom caught him at his lower half. When Kallua clench his fist, the jelly like blood turn crystal hard and spiky, crushing Fraze's leg as he shouts in pain. Fraze blood also trickled down but when it touches Kallua's aura infused blood, his blood turn the same in Kallua's control.

`Wha- my blood, they are being turned into his weapon!?' Fraze thought as he once more groans with more blood spilled out of his wounds then turn into knifes to inflict more blood out of him. Not wanting Kallua to get the upper hand, he starts to focusing his aura at his fist, he conjures his weapon.

"Flare Roar!" Fraze aura starts to curl and surround his fist as he punch the blood that capture him, the aura suddenly flares up and vaporizes the blood, enabling Fraze to land as he minimizes the damage he earn. He waves his fist around him to let his blood vaporize so Kallua wont be able to manipulate his blood.

Fraze gives a wild grin and laugh before looking at Kallua whom staring at him with a soul-less eyes.

"This is bad for me, your range of your blood manipulation is clearly huge. And we are stuck in this arena, which you would have no problems to manipulate more, especially coming out from me" Fraze mumbled as he silently look at all the blood that Kallua have. He had quite enormous large pool of blood covering him in circle radius with his command that he can manipulate freely he wanted, capable to attack him directly, underneath or mid air. Even if maybe he is in open space out of range, Fraze knew not just the bloody cloak and scythe Kallua produced and carry around would suffice in attack and defending himself, he could also move around the blood pool for extra range. He was definitely in big trouble, even when in youkai powered form, he is no longer in upper hand. Kallua is. He felt cornered by the strawberry, unable to find a way to dominating the fight.

"BUT THAT IS WHAT IT MAKES THIS IS INTERESTING!" Fraze suddenly yelled with his crimson eyes glowing more, for despite he knows he is cornered, he could still find the thrills. He starts to laugh insanely then lets out a huge burst of Ren as he sees Kallua whom not merciful to wait for him to defend, and starts to use every blood he has in his possession for attacking.

Fraze could only grin maniacally as he laughs harder then prepares for attacking back.

The battle seems long, with all the fighter fights with remains of arena drenches with their blood. As audiences whom slowly getting used to the massacre match, decided to be getting hype with Killua, Gon, Zushi and Wing getting worried, seeing Karuze's condition is getting worse, indicating Kallua must have been at limit with so many blood lost. It was a long battle, until at last, Kallua able to strap Fraze at wall with the blood bandage like wrapping tightly around his waist and both of his legs and arms are bound to wall in chain like. Fraze helplessly tries to struggle to free himself as the youkai blood effect has finally calmed by, making Kallua having more upper hand than before. In this moment, the jury that finally recovers, about to starts the countdown. If any one of them remain in the remains of arena while other fighter is out the bonds more than 10 sec, then the one in arena wins. Right in that moment the jury starts the countdown as he sees Fraze is bound to the wall, unable to move.

"Kallua is winning! He won!" Gon said excitingly yet other didn't't have excited look, rather a gloomy atmosphere.

"Great.." Karuze choked out "Now he is going to kill Fraze"

Gon seems to realize that as she sees Kallua slowly walks towards Fraze with murderous look.

"I'm going to kill you" Kallua said in cold, murderous glare as he get his bloody scythe and point it towards Fraze whom merely smiling and giggling happily.

"Ahhh~ you are so beautiful like now" Fraze panted hard as he looks at his strawberry with ecstasy look " You are truly the best now. I don't care, you can kill me now, kill me with all you got!"

Instantly Kallua fixed his gaze hard at Fraze, as he crouch to prepare for the finishing strike, he dash and raise his scythe with menacing grin and cold killer eyes. Gon and Killua shout in horror as they watch the blade about to slice Fraze's neck in few more millimeters-

"ARGH!"

The scythe suddenly dropped with loud clatter, everyone look surprised with Kallua suddenly grab his head and shouts then wail hard as he raise his head and shut his eyes. After a long moment of that, he stop shouting then slowly put both of his hands down and re-opens his eyes.

To the others amazement, his eyes turn back to sapphire blue.

Kallua merely gives Fraze a blank look "Haa.. damn you, I completely look like a wreck" Kallua whom back into his usual demeanor slightly glare at Fraze whom widen his eyes in shock and disappointment.

"Guess its my win now, huh.." Kallua said a bit proudly as he lightly sneer at Fraze's condition. "You better be still in that position to think more about your actions"

In that moment, Kallua turns to move to the arena but then-

"I rather you kill me in that mode. But you snap out of it, so I guess I have to kill you"

The moment Kallua's turn around, Fraze grin as he sees Kallua is right at the range of his attack in the best position.

"Thrust End!" Fraze conjures up aura on his hand as a spear as it extend, pierce Kallua instantly around chest area, gaining everyone shouts in terror. Kallua falls then instantly punch the ground to balance himself so he wont fall, the blood that hold Fraze instantly turns back to liquid, (along with all of his bloody equipment turn back into normal which made Kallua is now look like having blood bath), letting Fraze to break free.

Fraze only gives a sweet smile "It's Kill or be Killed, Kall-chan. You will still be my sweetest delicacy" Fraze grins as he sees Kallua choke out his blood with Karuze does the same before Kallua slowly falls down. Fraze gives a smile, while Killua breakdown in tears, the same with Gon as both Wing and Zushi sees Karuze close his eyes, not moving which effectively made the barrier gone. With a smirk, Fraze walk off slowly towards the arena remains, as he already won. In that moment, the jury tries to recover as he slowly made his way towards Kallua to check his condition while Fraze merely sighed as he look upwards.

"Ha,ahhh. I lost my favorite toy" Fraze sighed deep once more, not regretting he just killed his cousin before looking melancholy "It was thrilling to say, but too bad that it's over" Fraze starting to shiver with excitement as he slowly let his hands trails over all his wounds on his body then grins as he remember the sweet delicacy exchange given by his strawberry.

`Fighting with Kall-chan in bloodlust mode is truly the one that made me feel turn on the most, especially when he let me taint him and shows what he can do'

As Fraze recall all of his memories on fighting Kallua, suddenly his heart lets out a loud beat as he realizes something isn't right.

"Wait.. why" Fraze lets out a breath as he tries to remember something is wrong with Kallua. He may be different because of bloodlust mode but its still different. "Something's not right!?"

"If its you, I know that your head is the one that is not right!"

With eyes widen, Fraze turn around to sees Kallua gets up slowly with Karuze slowly opens his eyes. As Fraze about to open his mouth, Kallua gives a grin in which Fraze didn't understand why.

"Just as planned" Kallua said shortly, and without a doubt, Fraze had no idea what makes Kallua said that. Given Kallua is no longer in bloodlust mode, he can't use his blood anymore as his weapon as he is now merely a Manipulator normal that is not blood controlling. Was he going to use his original manipulation Nen? However, the blood he thought broke him free, suddenly shape-shift into many long steel pieces that starts to aims towards him then pierce some of his body parts in different angles then in same moments, flung him at the other ends of arena wall. Its not hitting his vital organs yet they are still enough to restrain him fully.

"H..How..?" Fraze questioned in between chokes as few blood spills out from his mouth, unable to know on why Kallua still able to command blood when he is not even in his bloodlust mode.

Kallua only gives a slight smile as he take his time to walk towards Fraze "Post commands" He stops as he is now eye an eye towards Fraze "I command my blood to harden when there is attack aimed specifically to protect. When you use the spear, my bloody state is a cover up of the blood of my post-command in bloodlust. The same with the blood I restrain you with, I command it also with the moment they turn back to liquid after lose control, they would shape-shift once more when you are back on the arena and restrain you. Took some time but it worked"

Fraze looks at Kallua in unbelievable look "Th-Then you are giving post commands when you are in your bloodlust mode?!" Kallua gives a smirk "Yeah, and I keep practicing ever since the hunter exam incident and when Karuze is not around since I know he would flipped out when he finds out that I have been trying to be in true bloodlust mode in purpose and practice for post commands then in and out of the bloodlust mode in secret" Kallua gives a small smile "I decided to fight you with expecting a great result of this experiment and it pays off"

Fraze getting more unbelievable as he spoke "S-So.. you knew I'm going to try something to make you in your bloodlust mode? And you went along with it just so it would see if your experiment work or not!?" Kallua nodded at that which made Fraze goes blank for a second before giving a maniac grin then laugh happily "SO that is what I felt different! You are fighting wildly to prove your thinking! Usually you will fight with me in refined way for analyzing me but this time you are analyzing your self!" At that, Fraze gives out another laughing that is like someone winning a jackpot lottery "As expected, I really love every part of you Kall-Chan~"

Eyebrow twitching, Kallua gave Fraze a full roundhouse kick with Nen he could muster and calculated in precise that is enough to instantly knocking Fraze out and still fully restrained. With that, Kallua whom finally assured of his victory, made his way towards the arena remains and raise his fist, and instantly audiences cheer at the birth of the new Floor Master.

Few days later, Karuze with Gon and Killua are now on their way towards the hospital. Kallua and Fraze is admitted due to both of them losing so much blood. Kallua lost the most though, compared to Fraze, While on their way, Karuze is completely fuming with anger, unable to believe Host is hiding this risk planning that even life threatening yet calling it as experiments!?. Both Killua and Gon could only stay quiet due to Karuze in no mood to talk so Killua can't even ask on their relationship yet.

"That damn Host, I'm going to really give him beating so hard!" Karuze said as he grit his teeth.

"M-Maa, lets just calm down" Gon said, trying to calm Karuze "Besides, if you hit him, won't you also be feeling the pain?"

"It will be worth it!" Karuze said simply as he walks towards the room where Kallua and Fraze is hospitalized and they just realized-

Both Kallua and Fraze are in the same room.

Instantly, chaos is the first thing in mind they have as they finally muster enough courage and open the door to find-

"Kall-chan~ Hug me with your love now~"

"Get away from me!"

"Ah.." The trio look at the room in state of chaos, they seen despite both of them were hospitalized and supposed to be unable to move, they look truly healthy as they move around and even able to wrestle. Well even if the room is in courteous from the Heavens Arena, they doubt the staff would find it pleasing for the hospital room to be in wreck.

Karuze's face light up at how his host seems to be tortured with Fraze presence as he have a delightful smile "Good, he get his punishment"

Killua crunch his eyebrows at that "That is punishment?!" But silently, Killua does agree especially looking at how his best guy friend is having tortured face right now.

Gon sweatdropped a bit "Poor Kallua" while Karuze scoffed "He deserves it"

Kallua was then seeing both of his parents visiting with Karuze as he tries to push Fraze away "Ah, you guys are here"

"Yes.. we are" Karuze sneered as he spoke with hatred and dark aura causing both Gon and Killua to take few steps behind "So, care for a private chat Host~?"

Kallua completely didn't missed the snide smile as Karuze spoke with dark tone in saying that. Regardless, he does think he do deserves it.

"Uh.. should we?" Kallua said, gulping afterwards while he let his eyes darted at Killua and Gon then at Fraze "Sorry but I don't think its a good idea for- OI!"

Without getting permission or a sign of agreeing, Karuze instantly whisk Kallua's out of the room with heavy steps and glaring eyes while Fraze whaling in frustration for having his strawberry taken away. Only Gon and Killua could only watch in silent gaze in what happened while at same time, nervous in being left alone with Fraze for the first time.

"So..." Fraze slightly grin as he sees both of his strawberry parents are prickled when his gaze landed on them. With a smirk, he rummages his belonging while at the same time, Killua starts to be defensive in front of Gon to protect her.

"Want to play cards?" Fraze gives a huge grin as he took his cards and instantly shuffle them "Better than standing around right?"

Not wanting Fraze to be enemy, especially after they had seen Fraze's strength. Even though he is injured now, that still doesn't make him less threatening. Both Gon and Killua decided to nod and play card games with Fraze.

Elsewhere, Karuze keeps dragging Kallua further and further away. Despite some nurses and doctors tried to stop them, Karuze merely glares at them causing them to stay out of their way. Kallua tries to reason with Karuze for they left his parents alone with Fraze, which is not a good thing but Karuze still goes silent and only spoke after he finally drag Kallua in hospital backyard.

"This may be an open space but its quiet" Karuze said lowly as he puts barrier for extra measurement, for no one would be able to hear their conversation while they are in his barrier " So.. host" Karuze eyes is now glowing with anger as he glares at Kallua "You got any excuses!?"

"Uh... None?" Kallua said lightly as he scratches his cheek "Well, its good that I'm manage to make my training of snap out a success though the risk is high and I did bet that I may be able to do that for this once" Kallua gives a light grin "Maa, the result is its a success anyway"

Instantly hearing that, Karuze grab Kallua's collar and yell right in front of him.

"YOU! YOU ARE REALLY SELFISH! DOING THIS LIFE THREATENING RISK AND NOW YOU JUST BRUSH IT OFF AS NOTHING!? WHAT IF YOU HAD BEEN KILLED BY FRAZE!? YOU ARE COMPLETELY NO DIFFERENT WITH YOUR MOTHER WHOM JUST CHARGING AHEAD WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES!"

Karuze instantly let go of Kallua with harsh push, causing him to land roughly at the ground. As he raise his head to gaze hard at Karuze, he widen his eyes into seeing the look Karuze had.

It was a pain with betrayal look.

"Damn you.. All those five years, you never ever tried to summon your bloodlust so I never interfere. Why is it right now that you decided to face them and not even relying on me! Is it because I'm just a mere seal instead of your own bloodlust !? Or you maybe just feel sorry with Nanika!?"

Kallua instantly narrow his eyes at the mention of `Nanika'. He did make Nanika weak with giving birth of Karuze as he completely absorb almost all of Nanika's power causing his father to worry a lot at Alluka at that time because of his father wish yet he is also partially responsible. Both Alluka and Nanika condition did recover, yet Nanika still have to remains a lot inside Alluka after that.

"I hate you" Karuze glared hard at Kallua whom just getting up slowly without returning the gaze as he mutter "I know"

"Yeah I hate you!" Karuze grip his fist tight "I hate how you never rely on me"

Kallua instantly look at Karuze in shock at that but he merely look down as he keep muttering.

"I hate that incident. I hate how things made us drifted. I hate how I thought things could be different but it was wrong... I hate it.."

Kallua didn't understand yet he slowly tries to gather the information in pieces and connecting them. It was his first time to see Karuze being emotional like this and emotion is one thing that he is having hard time to know. But it was then something clicked on his mind.

"Wait, rely on you?" Kallua slightly startled by that fact, given Karuze always mess with him. Also, looking at Karuze like this is certainly not Karuze like as usual.

Karuze only grit his teeth as he look down, letting his bangs cover both of his eyes "I don't know, I don't even know why I act like this. The more time passed, the more confused and the more things are getting more out of hand if I didn't do something.

Kallua certainly didn't expect this reaction from Karuze. All before he was thrown to past with Karuze, he only see him as his seal so his bloodlust would never out again and label him as `IT' along with his father's family. But all his time in now at past, he slowly starts to see Karuze as friend, since he is the one whom giving him advice for not afraid to change future and bonding more with his parents. He never even realizes when they suddenly gets along more, compared to few years ago.

"I.. I'm sorry" Kallua said slowly while Karuze suddenly shook at hearing that.

"I don't need your damn sorry, you damn host!" Karuze choked out as he suddenly looks up, surprising Kallua because Karuze is in fact, in tears. "You just keep doing things as you please! Trying to take it upon yourself, were you actually have no need for me anymore!?"

Hearing that made Kallua quickly shook his head "No! I clearly didn't mean that!" Kallua look down at his feet "I'm just... didn't want to drag you in danger and I know you are capable of protecting the others"

Karuze merely bail his hand into fists in response before then gives a hit on Kallua's face. Since he didn't see it coming literally, once more falls on the ground, hard. He glares again at Karuze, whom prepares to hit Kallua again made him dodge and decided to fight back, landing a punch at Karuze's face. With that, the two narrowed their eyes and starts to hit each other, punch and kicks were given. Dodging, attacking then counter attack keep coming as they even wrestle in the barrier. It wasn't long before the two falls down next towards each other, as Kallua look at Karuze, he is surprised that Karuze has refreshed, brighten up expression.

"Haa, I feel like everything I pent up have released" Karuze said as he sound breathless from the fighting, hearing that made Kallua slightly shocked that the way of Karuze relishing is by talking with fist.

"Well.. good for you" Kallua slowly mutter as he could feel some of his injuries were re-open because of their fight but he could still bear the pain.

Karuze slowly gets up as he looks at Kallua "Sorry Host, guess your wounds has re-open because of that" in which Kallua slowly gets up to and shook his head "Well I deserves it, though you did also got the pain"

"Hn" Karuze said shortly before continued after a brief pause "I know I'm not supposed to be called `Sakki' but at least, I know a bit more about your bloodlust for I also have a part created from your blood. At least, if you have something to do with your bloodlust, count me in"

"Actually, I do have something in mind" Kallua instantly said earning a sweatdropped Karuze as he thought `So Fast'

"So, Karuze" Kallua look earnestly at Karuze as he gives a small smile "Will you help me? I do need your co-operation to pull it off"

Seeing how fast and earnestly Kallua look made Karuze slightly flabbergasted as he lightly blush and look away "Tch, I did say that I will help. So I will, though-" Karuze instantly look at Kallua with narrowed eyes " It will be difficult and dangerous to pull it off, is it?"

Kallua only grin and lightly scratch his head while Karuze rolled his eyes, obviously knowing that reaction means he was right but he nodded as he then clench his hand to fist in front of his chest "Yeah, you can count on me. Though make sure to talk more about these things with me first"

Kallua nodded, in his mind, he seems to have seen Karuze now no longer as `IT' or even Sakki and Parasite. He is just Karuze and only Karuze, that's all.

After Kallua steps once more in the hospital, he is getting an earful from the doctor while the nurses seems excitingly tended him for having his wounds re-open which Kallua never thought the nurses were so passionate of their job (reality, the nurses just wanted to tend the rich, floor master handsome young man looking and wanting to spoils him) while Karuze cheatingly goes back inside Kallua to prevent from being scolded which getting a silent treatment from Kallua as he finally finish with the additional treatment then secretly and stealthily goes to his room and opens it quickly and silently, for wanting opportunity to strike first since he didn't want to see the image of Fraze killing his parents like the image he was given from that jewel became a reality.

Only to find Fraze with maniac grin as he sees both of his parents are now lightly dressed, even minus their shoes and socks. The rest of their clothes are mixed and scattered on the floor which made Kallua raise his eyebrows as he sees both of their parents scowl with cards on their hand and Fraze, fully clothes grinning while looking at his cards.

`Woo~ They are playing strip poker' Karuze grins while Kallua only look at them in confusing manner as he was taught not to play those from his parents since not just Fraze but Hisoka also ever tries to invite him to join. He was about to yell to let them know his presence since they are too focused on their cards to notice him before he did noticing Fraze changing his cards with his speed that unable to be seen by both Gon and Killua while Kallua able to do so that made his eyes twitch.

SMACK!

"How dare you cheating on them!" Kallua yelled after giving a good smack on Fraze's head. While Killua and Gon surprised to see Kallua suddenly comes inside, they were surprised once more when Kallua suddenly skillfully stripped Fraze's baggy clothes, causing so many cards that hidden inside them were fluttering on the air.

"Ahn~ Kall-chan. If you want me to strip, you could have ask~" Fraze lets out a seductive smile "But if you want to strip me, go ahead, UNWRAP ME!"

Kallua's response is merely throwing hard of Fraze's baggy clothes right on his face.

"Gah! I should have known you did cheat! You are friends with that clown bastard after all!" Killua yelled protesting, feeling at ease doing so because Kallua has returned and able to back them up. If he is alone like few moments ago, he wouldn't dare to yell or even protesting given Fraze is way stronger than him and Gon.

Gon also look shocked at this fact "Ehhh? I thought Fraze is really good at playing poker!" then she started to mutter "so that's why we are never winning"

"Another piece of advice from me regarding Fraze" Kallua said seriously "Never play a game of poker or any card games, Hisoka taught him to cheat skillfully with cards, to the point even pros keep losing at his mercy" Hearing that made both of them starts to nod then starts to wear their taken off clothing.

"Bhuu... that was not fun" Fraze pouted as he wears his shirt "Though I think Killua did already appreciate the `view' right!?"

Both Kallua and Gon whom confused on the meaning, only turn to see Killua whom just blushing and grumbles angrily at Fraze.

`Sure he did' Karuze said in which only made Kallua confused more.

"M-maa, anyway" Killua starts to avoid the topic "Where's Karuze? And wait, you seems to be more patched up than before" Killua said, noticing Kallua's condition.

"Oh.. Karuze's fine and well," Kallua trailed off a bit " We did spar a few moments ago then I have to be taken for another treatment since my wounds opened"

Both Killua and Gon could only stare at Kallua indicurously while at the same time thinking `serve you right'. Why the heck they are sparring when Kallua is already injured!? Its no wonder his wounds opened up and the poor doctors and nurses had to be the one to patch them.

"Kallua, you should apologize towards the nurses and doctors whom help in patching your opened wounds, its not nice for you to just injure yourself more while you are still in treatment" Gon said in which Killua nodded, hoping Kallua would do what his girlfriend just said.

"I did, I will definitely be focusing on recovering" Kallua said firmly in which made both Killua and Gon nodded, knowing Kallua would do so.

"Since I just got an additional treatment, I will be staying in hospital longer. While Fraze should be okay to be released at the end of the week" Kallua said as he looks at Fraze whom actually should be able to be released today, especially he is not even that injured.

The end of the week is tomorrow anyway. Kallua cheered inside for having Fraze will be away and he would no longer be able to stay in the same room as him in the next day.

Fraze whom look and realized Kallua's hidden meaning, he looks at his arm and before anyone could react, he added Nen towards his left fist and hit his right arm, successfully breaking his arm bones.

"WHA-" the trio could only stare at disbelief at what Fraze just did, however he just smile and show his injury.

"Great~ I can stay longer with you now Kall-chan~"

Dark aura instantly envelops Kallua as he gives Fraze a hard, menacing glare that made both Gon and Killua shiver and scared while Fraze only blushes and pant hard at the sight of killer Kallua.

"If you like hospital so badly, I"LL GRANT YOUR WISH! I'LL BREAK ALL OF YOUR BONES!"

In the end, Fraze ended up with few broken bones in arm, fingers, crack at leg then back because Gon and Killua had a hard time to stop Kallua while Fraze didn't resist. Both of them ended up hospitalized for quite a long time because some of Kallua's wound opened again. The two of them finally finish their treatment after a week (which amazes all the doctors and getting disappointment whine and looks from the nurses) and getting released at the same time. Kallua remains in the lobby to wait for Killua and Gon together with Karuze to meet together while Fraze seems about to go away in Kallua's pleasure.

"I wish we could have slept together when we are in the same room~"Fraze said in sing a long voice which just made Kallua narrowed his eyes, somehow that phrase sounds disturbing to his ears even though he can't find anything wrong with it.

"Shut your mouth" Kallua hissed "Either way, aren't you supposed to be going!? I thought Hisoka will be making his move in the Troupe"

Fraze smirk at that "It's still a long time anyway until the auction starts, but I guess I'm going to follow Hisoka around, I'll miss you so much Kall-chan~"

"I won't" Kallua said coldly "Still, I'm surprised that you are willing to go to the YorkNew city, where the auction will starts. Considering you know who will be there"

Obviously Fraze knows whom is Kallua talking about so he starts to goes pale before shook his head, trying to regain his composure back. Kallua sure having fun for bringing the topic that made Fraze goes pale, it's a payback for keep making him creeped out.

"W-Well, it's not like we have to meet anyway" Fraze starts to cross his arms "Besides, I'm going to have a great fun there so I'm going to be still tagging along with Hisoka. So then Kall-chan~" Fraze point his lips with his index finger as he said in sickly sweet voice as he blushed "Won't you come with me together?"

Again, Kallua narrowed his eyes as his ears felt disturbed with the way of Fraze saying the words but chose to ignore the feelings as he flat out said "NO!"

Fraze merely smiles before asking another question "So, what are you up to? Were you going to still follow both of your parents?" Fraze said as he looks at Kallua whom merely narrowed his eyes "Of course"

Fraze starts to shake with laughter "Kall-chan...Kuh..pfff.." Fraze starts to laugh out loud "BWAHAHAAA you should heard what you just said, sounds like you are like a kid that can't separate with his parents!"

"Haa?" Kallua only responds blankly while Fraze still roaring with laughter. To the point everyone in the lobby staring at both of them and narrowed their eyes for making ruckus at the hospital causing Kallua to drag the still laughing Fraze outside.

After Fraze had calmed down, he starts to spoke again "So, I'm sure you had tons to tell. Though not really the details, just the general one. Will you be fine with it? I'm still amazed that your father had no idea about your bloodlust that is running through the Zaoldyeck Family"

"Killua is unaware because the bloodlust is never being mentioned towards him until he learned about it when he is 18" Kallua then shrugged as if to said that he was relieved for that fact "Karuze already explains the general thing, so it already being taken care of"

"Oh, Sakki did?" Fraze answered before then met by Kallua's glaring daggers eyes.

"He has a name, Karuze!" Kallua said quickly which brought a short moan from Fraze. "So you're finally recognize that he is our love child!?" Fraze got a blow towards his head in Kallua's response "I will only acknowledge the name"

Fraze pouted in mere second before turn all cheerful again "Still a good one~ Oh, Hisoka's here" Fraze noticing Hisoka's presence before Kallua notices it as well "Well Hisoka has been itching to fight with me since he already sees me fighting so I might fight with him since we have some time. Well, I guess I'll see you next time Kall-Chan~ Contact me as soon as you can alright?" Fraze then about to run towards Hisoka's direction when-

"Wait!" Kallua said which made Fraze smile widen "You miss me already?"

"No" Kallua answered shortly before continued "Honestly I have been observing you while you are in hospital but I never heard of the hospital staff ever mentions about your abnormal condition from fusing your DNA with the youkai DNA" Kallua even secretly and stealthily looking (though it's more of like stealing information) at Fraze files inside the hospital file room and found nothing abnormal which definitely made him unable to believe it, even though he keep looking through the files for so many times.

Kallua sure felt annoyed for unable to find anything (since he never heard of someone had drank youkai DNA vial before, he is tempted to keep observing Fraze for wanting to see if there could be changing if present for knowledge) then start staring at Fraze "and how come you are not even bothered with swallowing those then having that stuff inside your body? I thought it might left you sore or something after our wild and wet fight with afterglow"

Fraze is now panting hard as he blushes red "K-Ka..Kall-Chan, that's..so HOT!" Fraze starts to droll as he stares at confused Kallua "Ahn, I have a hard time to control myself. It's your fault for saying such sexy and hot words"

Kallua look completely clueless on what he just said turns out sexy and hot but he really regrets dragging Fraze outside since now Fraze attract some onlookers that again, looking at them strangely, especially when Hisoka starts to react the same with Fraze though its only Kallua whom realizes it. Realizing that worrying about Fraze is pointless, he goes once more, dragging Fraze towards Hisoka's direction then literally throws Fraze towards Hisoka whom barely managed to caught him before vanished together.

"I know the meaning you meant to phrase it, but it does sound quite wrong you know"

Kallua turned around to find Karuze and both of Killua and Gon were there. Kallua sheepishly smiled, as he just let his parents witnessing him not being himself. Though he found it weird to see Killua awkwardly look away from his gaze which brought confusion from Kallua.

"You meant Fraze drinking the vial at the fight that is dangerous and could be having strange side effects after consuming. Then proceed with both of you fighting in really crazy fight which you got drenched and sticky with all of your blood and really glad that you win without suffer great casualties" Karuze suddenly explains and getting `oh' sound from Killua with Gon.

Kallua blinked and nod while tilt his head a bit "Yeah, wasn't that what I meant?"

Karuze lightly shook his head "Not with some green minded people here that interprets it in different way.

Hearing that made Killua glared towards Fraze, and Kallua decided to break the tense atmosphere.

"So uh.. you two got any plans afterwards ?" Kallua asked in which Gon nodded.

"Yeah, I was thinking of going to Whale Island since I already paid what I owe Hisoka. I miss Mito-San, and Killua said that he would come with me" Gon said with a smile that Killua only nods with a light blush.

Karuze nodded" Yup, Killua wants to be accepted as Gon's boyfriend by her aunt which is why he tries hard to practice with me to make a good impression"

Gon started to blush as she didn't think of that while Killua's blush got darken as he tries to punch Karuze whom only dodging in ease while closing his eyes.

"Err... sorry about Karuze" Kallua lightly scratch his cheek before looking at Gon "Sorry that I ended up being in hospital for a long time, you could have gone back to Whale Island first together with Killua"

Gon shook her head at that "No way, you did help me a lot Kallua. At least I want to see you finally healthy before leaving"

Hearing that made Killua's ears perked up before mumbled sadly "That's right, since you are a Floor Master now with Karuze close to becomes a candidate to fight a Floor Master, guess the two of you will stay"

"What are you saying?" Both Kallua and Karuze said at the same time which brought confusion in between Killua and Gon

"Kallua will go with you two, but I'm out" Karuze said which made both Killua and Gon surprised "We already got permission to leave from Wing along saying goodbye with Zushi"

"Wha-Why?" Gon asked with surprise tone while Killua sees Kallua whom seems taking it as if its a light matter.

"Will you be fine?" Killua asked, obviously referring Kallua's bloodlust since he did learn that Karuze as the one who is suppressing it.

Kallua look at Killua with reassuring look as he did heard from Karuze that he did explain the general. He recall the way of Karuze explaining them about their relationship.

Flashbacks

Both Killua and Gon are now in Karuze's room, the atmosphere seems thicker the more seconds pass by as they were waiting for their explanation. On what is Kallua, and what are they, how are they related. So Karuze told them to ask questions and he will answer them about him and Kallua.

"What are both of you?" Killua asked in which Karuze merely said "We are brothers, with me having Nen that is suitable to suppressing his bloodlust. That answer was hard being accepted since Killua thought Karuze doesn't seem look like Kallua's brother and might be made by Nen which Karuze silently nodded but decided to be cover it still and being playful.

"If I'm made from Nen, then could you explain me for having needs to eat and drink?" That do shuts Killua instantly and accepts Karuze being Kallua's brother. Karuze then explains that they having condition of both of them felt pain together in having Karuze's Nen infused into Kallua to suppress his bloodlust. The two nodded, partly understanding and half not while partly accept the explanation.

"Is Kallua related to Zaoldyeck?" Gon asked which made Killua surprised with that kind of question, once Killua getting more information about it from Gon, he is getting more unbelievable look for Kallua can do so then demand answer from Karuze.

Karuze already prepared fo this question so he already prepared the answer. Real answer that indeed provide explanation despite some cover up but he would like to see both of Kallua's past parents reaction "Well, Kallua and the Zaoldyeck Family are could be said related but the same could be said not. Let's just said that his family has affliction with Zaoldyeck once and cut them off but the Zaoldyeck is using Kallua so his family will be spared" Hearing it obviously made Killua looks angry at this fact, for his family actually using Kallua while Gon certainly also feels mad in hearing it.

"I can't believe them!How could they be using him just as they please!?" Killua grit his teeth as his hands shaking, bailed into fist. Thinking he should have notice when he sees his father letting Kallua sit near him, so because Kallua is a tool for him?!.

Gon look down in anger but at same time her anger also directed towards Kallua whom not saying a thing yet in the end, both of them respect Kallua's decision for a bit before Killua vow for freeing Kallua from his family.

`Same reaction with the future. Though, somehow their past reaction is much more convinced than the future' Karuze thought, somehow look amused.

"Is Kallua actually related with Kuruta? His eyes were Scarlet when he is in bloodlust mode like when Kurapika was angry" Gon asked once more in which Karuze answered with shook his head.

"Nah, his eyes not turn Scarlet, it was Crimson so its different" Karuze said blankly in which Gon lightly scratch her cheek for unable to differentiate Crimson and Scarlet color.

"Is that all?" Karuze asked which made both of them look at him blankly "I know both of us seems mysterious but one thing both of you should aware" Karuze look at them seriously as he spoke the words that made both of them nodded in agreement.

"We are your allies, both of us would never betray you guys"

End of Flashbacks

Kallua look at Karuze whom now talking with Gon with teasing topic about bringing her boyfriend to her home. He didn't expect Karuze to tell his past parents about the truth though not all of them, maybe because of that, Killua starts to talk to him more and they get closer a bit. Part of Kallua thinking that maybe Killua feels guilty for what his family did but he had more hunch that Killua wants to free him, just like Gon did towards Killua.

"Kallua? Are you okay?"

Killua's worried tone awaken Kallua from his train of thoughts, instantly Kallua lets out a reassuring smile to assure Killua that he is fine.

"Well with that, I'm going to go" Karuze said in which made both Gon and Killua seems uncertain whether it was fine or not.

Kallua goes towards Karuze, whom grin then gives each other a high five that made both Gon and Killua blink in surprise.

"Take care, Karuze" Kallua said in which made him nodded and grin.

"Yeah, I know" Karuze said before looking at both of Gon and Killua "Hey, no worries. We will meet again, in YorkNew city so I'll see you guys soon"

Gon nodded after seeing the exchange between Kallua and Karuze "Alright Karuze, do take care"

Killua seems surprised to see his girlfriend agrees for Karuze to go as he knows how important Karuze role it is to Kallua but Kallua seems to understand his worries as he spoke.

"We already have talks about it, the two of us trust each other, like how both of us trust both of you"

With that, they feel at ease of Karuze's leaving them even though they didn't know why Karuze had to leave but still, they respect both Kallua and Karuze's judgement.

Since Kallua is joining, the three of them go to the harbor for having a ship to go to the Whale Island while Karuze decided to see both of them off as they board the ship.

"See you Karuze! Thank you and take care! Bye-Bye!" Gon said excitingly while Killua gives a small smile before in split second, looking at Kallua whom only gives a small nod in Karuze silhouette that is starting to getting smaller.

"Yeah, See you Killua, Gon!" Karuze shout before then shouting another words that made Kallua's eyes widen.

"Kallua! I will see you later as well! Be well!"

Kallua could only go silent for this is the first he ever heard Karuze saying his name, both Killua and Gon whom look at Kallua, gives a smile as Kallua too, beaming in effect of what Karuze just said.

He can't wait to see him again next time.
