Chapter 16: Home X Ging X Game
Gon excitingly running around the moment they are all arrived in Whale Island. Killua never thought his girlfriend would be really excited. But Kallua did understand, Grandma Mito is indeed someone special towards his mother after all and he really likes Grandma Mito as well so he also quite excited to see her in the past.
"So now that we are arrived in the Island, we should take a bus since it is already night time" Killua said which earn silent looks from both Gon and Kallua that made him uncomfortable.
"What?" Killua look at both Kallua and Gon in turn "Why are you guys are looking at me like that?"
"There's no bus in Whale Island like bus tour towards Kukuroo Mountain" Kallua said in which made Gon nodded in agreement though surprised that Kallua knew but Killua had no idea.
"Yeah, we have to walk all the way. We should be arrive in daybreak if we kept up the pace" Gon said as if its the normal thing in the world.
"WHAT!?" Killua had an unbelievable look "Then what should we do about dinner!?"
"I secretly borrowed the hospital kitchen to make food bento for this moment so we can eat it later" Kallua said as he point his bag in which made Gon twinkled as its been a while since she ate Kallua's home cooking food.
"Ehhh..." Killua wailed as he grumbles in which Kallua tries to cheer him up.
At least the dinner problem is solved though.

Once daybreak, Gon excitingly running after she finally sees her house along with Mito whom currently washing the laundry sheets. She starts shouting Mito's name as both Killua and Kallua walk in leisure pace. Though Killua looks a bit sweatdrop at how unique Gon's house is, for it seems to be- connected with nature!?
"I'm home, Mito-San!" Gon said excitingly after she just hugging her aunt in which made Mito-San smiles before looking at both Kallua and Killua whom she noted might be twin brothers for they share the similar appearances. However, she did read the letters Gon sent back few months ago, so she knew both of them.
"You two must be Killua and Kallua" Mito said that made Killua nodded while Kallua gave a small smile, feeling a bit nostalgic on the atmosphere.
Killua meanwhile suddenly become nervous as he is unsure on how to introduce himself as Gon's boyfriend. Even Gon also keep stealing glances at Killua since she didn't have a thought of introducing Killua as her boyfriend at first. She become sensitive about it because of Karuze, and Kallua had to keep apologizing about it while reassuring that Killua will understand since she didn't know her intention.
Mito seems getting the hint when she sees the way Gon act with Killua while Kallua whom knows already could only watch blankly since he is already used for his parents being lovey doves and fluffy (as Killia calls it) though somehow he felt seeing his parents as children being like this, it looked- cute?
`If Karuze heard me saying it in mind, he might laugh again' Kallua thought as semi thankful that Karuze is not here.
Mito clap her hands "Alright~ Please come in you all" Mito said in cheery tone before turn towards Killua "It's nice to meet Gon's boyfriend as well"
With that, both Killua and Gon blushing deep red as they awkwardly enter the house with Kallua followed as gives a slight smile behind them, they starts to greet Gon's grandmother before then seated as having a drink. Mito immediately grumbles as she starts being busy. Rambling about how Gon should have told her so she could prepare since her friend and boyfriend has come all the way of visit. Kallua do insist on helping but Mito instantly rejects as saying that it should be Gon who should be helping.
"Ehh... but I want to stay with Killua" Gon whined looking for excuse since she had a hard time doing housework and didn't want Killua to notice. She does secretly envies Kallua that can do those things, it feels a bit irony since when she sees Kallua doing them, she felt like Killua could do those as well while she can't.
Mito look at Gon with narrowed eyes "No excuses" before look at both Kallua and Killua "Oh that's right. While Gon is helping, both of you should take a bath while I make something to eat and put out your dirty clothes as I'll be doing laundry"
Kallua knows what Mito will do if he is not doing as she says so as he is about to agree, Killua suddenly nonchalantly said "Okay, later"
With that, Mito sharply said "Now!" As her habits kick in for saying you have ten seconds for Gon and starts counting but then Mito seems to realize her mistake for Killua had no idea on what's happening so she stops mid-count before realizes that Kallua had already stands up, removing his school jacket and running to get the towels before getting Killua to stands up and drags him to go to the bathroom for bath. As both of them leaves, their direction were met with three surprised, strange looks.
"Gon? Why is Kallua able to know about the counting then where the towels are and the bathroom location?" Mito asked, truly surprised while Gon lightly scratch her cheeks, also confused.
"Umm... Dunno?" That was all Gon could say.
As both Killua and Kallua taking a bath together, Killua can't help but wanting to know how Kallua knows where the location of things in Gon's place before then noticed that this is the first time both of them taking a bath together. He sure is surprised to see how lean, muscular form Kallua has, though some of the scars he has from a match with Fraze still lingers.
Silence engulf them as Killua sees Kallua currently gently shampooing his silky hair before ruffling his spiky hair, creating more bubbles foam.
Killua seems a bit interested at Kallua's hair, for the top part looks like his while the silky down part reminds him of Gon's hair.
"Was it hard having a hair style like that?" Killua asked again as he also starts shampooing his hair in which Kallua chuckles a bit "I already have this kind of hair style when I'm seven so I'm already used to it.
"I see" Killua said before about to rising his hair as Kallua look at Killua for a bit
"Want me to wash your back?" Kallua asked which caught Killua off guard a bit before then nodded.
As Kallua does so, he sees his father back that is quite small and needs protecting. Different when in future, he sees his father back as broad and capable for protecting someone whom he holds dear with him. He mused on how long has it been since he is washing his father's back, it sure is fun while it lasted for a while.
"Alright, it's done" Kallua said as he was about to rinse himself-
"What are you doing? Its my turn to wash your back now" Killua said which this time, caught Kallua off guard. He just blankly stares at Killua whom ignores the stare and starts to wash his back, gently because of the scar. That action making him silently feels how nice his life he has right now.
Once they are done with their bath, they wear the clothes that is being worn a long time ago by Ging. As they go to the dining room, they sees Gon being chewed by Mito for messing up causing both of them to chuckle which made Gon blushes. Since it was Gon's time to take a bath, Kallua volunteer once more to help (while Killua wait as having small talks with Gon's grandmother) in which Mito nodded and found how skillful Kallua is, making her impressed and forgetting what she was about to ask Kallua in first place.
The food is finally done, earning glittering eyes coming from both Gon and Killua whom seats next to each other with Kallua next to Killua. After being told to help themselves, both of Killua and Gon starts to eat lots, commenting the delicious taste while Kallua chuckles lightly and eats moderately. It was then as Killua about to eat the next dish, his fork stopped. He bitterly look at the dish he had laid his eyes upon.
It has red pepper.
The worst enemy of his.
Gon notices the weird look his boyfriend has while Kallua knows the bitter look Killua has were a face of hating the red peppers, compared to him who is not an picky eater. The moment Killua set those red peppers aside, Mito scold him immediately for wasting food.
"Uh.. I'm not too fond of them. Red peppers" Killua said as Mito keeps trying to assure Killua that it tastes good and he should try it. In reflex, he stares at Gon in silent, wanting a support.
"That's right Killua, just try it and think of it as a challenge" Gon said which Killua silently laments as his girlfriend is not helping.
With his heartbeat growing louder and his eyes twitching as he stabbed several of those red peppers with his fork. He still debates whether to put those damn things in his mouth or not despite both Gon and Mito still closely watching him, after several moments, he finally decides to show them. He shut his eyes close and opens his mouth wide as he thrust the fork in and close his mouth to taste that blasted stupid red peppers!
Chomp!
`Huh?'
Killua starts to open his eyes look at the fork he is still having inside his mouth as his tongue slowly dart around to find something weird.
`Wait, where are those stupid pesky red peppers!?'
He didn't have them, let alone having that disgusting taste inside his mouth. He opens his mouth slowly and pull the fork to reveal there are no trace of red peppers. As he is in daze at the red pepper mysterious disappearance, Mito and Gon immediately praise him for eating them which he still had no idea how it was gone right in front of him.
However, it was immediately revealed when he silently look at the corner of his eyes towards Kallua to ask, only to find him munching on his food.

And Killua instantly felt, how lucky he is to have a best guy friend like Kallua.
After finished eating and doing dishes, Gon remembers that she wants to show Mito-san her license, she rummages her pocket and gives it for her to have a closer look at it.
"See, this is my hunter license" Gon said proudly as her license glitter upon the sunlight.
Mito looks at the license and commented on how normal looking it is before then, starts to bend it. Causing Gon to turn panicked and instantly reach for her license back.
"Just kidding... I would never do anything like that" Mito giggles lightly as she gives a smile while both Killua and Kallua instantly thought `It must be on purpose' while Gon trying to make sure her license was okay and hope that it still working.
Afterwards, the three of them asking permission from Mito for Gon to show both of them around the island. Actually, Kallua wish to stay at home so that Killua and Gon may go together but surprised when Killua actually ask for him to come as well so he did. The three instantly on their way, saying they will find something to eat in forest and have no need for bento.
The three of them began to hop around, and smiling with laughing as they are having a race. Kallua purposely slowing himself down as he just want to enjoy the time they have together. They starts to explore, diving then going for fishing before eating their catch.
Meanwhile Gon's grandmother began to worries as the sun has come down, Gon and the others haven't back but Mito only smiles and say that it has been a while since Gon is back and bringing a boyfriend with a friend. Knowing they won't be back until late for they are all having fun with each other.
It was a nightfall, where the three of them starts to lay nearby the fire they made few moments ago after roasting their fishing catch. It was a comfortable silence before Killua decided to break it.
"Hey Gon, What are we going to do now?" Killua asked as both of them continue to stare at the sky while Kallua just wordlessly stare as well.
"For now, I'll rest up here while I gather information... the information I need to look at Yorknew to find my dad" Gon answered while Killua nod then look at Kallua.
"Kallua, what about you?" Killua asked as he turn to see Kallua whom do the same "Me?" Kallua look at the sky back "I'm going to stay here too until going to Yorknew city then meet up back with Karuze" Kallua gives a thin smile "Then doing some things"
Killua blink in surprised as he sees there's a hint of sadness seems coming out from Kallua when he mention ` doing some things' but then he remembers what he was about to tell Kallua something, whom realizes it for Kallua is now looking at him.
"What is it? You are staring" Kallua said as he too, stares at Killua in return.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Kallua tilt his head at that "My family! They made you suffer! Aren't you supposed to take a revenge for me or something!?"
`Take a revenge with my own father!?' Kallua thought in his expressionless face to hide his emotion since if not, he might look at Killua with ridiculous look that will kill the mood. He looks at Killua whom still waiting for his response as Gon too, starts to sit up and staring at him.
"I have no reason to" Kallua said blankly while silently semi-cursing, semi-amused at Karuze for saying way too much "Besides, I'm the one who made the choice"
Killua grit his teeth " So you just accept it as nothing!?" Gon could do nothing but stares as Killua continued " Weren't your own family had grudges too!?"
`No, you two are just fine with it after few years' Kallua thought as he stares at Killua and Gon " It already went for a while so we're kind of used to it"
Both of them have a deer in headlights look.
"U..used to it!?" Both of them say it said at same time, trembling with Kallua only look confused for indeed, he knows his parents are so used to it for even when he told them to go to the Kukuroo Mountain, they just nod and let him go. Didn't bat an eye when he stealthily returned with blood on his clothes, didn't say a thing when he said he is going for a long mission. Nope, nothing at all.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" The yell coming out from Killua's mouth made Kallua coming back to reality and look at both of his past parents sits up and look at him angrily or more accurately, madder than hell.
"What kind of parents would just be alright in having one of their kid becoming an assassins!? One kid in their family while they are not so they are just to be spared!"
"That's true! How could both of your parents can do that, Kallua! What horrible parents!"
"Yeah I agree! And here I thought my family were horrible"
`Uh.. you two were calling your own future selves as horrible!?' Kallua thought, partially shocked while partially amused. Still, he loves both of his parents and he made the choice for his own so he should put a stop on it. He didn't want his parents to think horrible things about his parents that is actually about themselves.
" It's fine, like I said I'm the one who made that choice" Kallua said in calm tone before too, sits up and let both of his hands goes on top of both of Killua and Gon's head whom turn surprised.
"Thanks, for being angry in my stead" Kallua starts to give them both gentle pats "But I want both of you to know that I'm fine with it and again, I'm the one who made the choice" Kallua gives them a soft and gentle smile which made both of them stunned speechless. As if it wasn't enough, he gently pulls both of them into his embrace, that is gentle yet hard to break free.
"Thank you" Kallua said once again, sincerity in his voice " I really, love both of my parents" He silently look both of them whom were not realizing his stare as they listen to his calm, soothing heartbeat " And, I'm happy with you guys"
The two of them starts to blush redder as they hear Kallua's soft, sincere sounding words. They did calm down yet at same time, they have a silent hunch deep in their mind.
As if the words that Kallua just say, it was meant for both of them

The three kept having fun around the island, where some times, Kallua would leave his parents alone together then take some of medical plant for making poison and medicine. Other times, it was only Killua and Kallua racing which Kallua always won. Then Killua and Gon would fish together and again Kallua won. Another would be the three of them meditating, training their aura.
Until one day, it turned really late, the three finally returned to Gon's house. Both Killua and Kallua starts to arrange the futon for them to sleep (though the first night, Gon did tries to argue for them to have the bed, leading a shouting match between Gon and Killua which made Kallua interfere as Mito suddenly shows up, ending the match instantly) which leads them to decide the boys will sleep on the floor while Gon gets the bed.
"Hn, finally done" Killua said, as they finish in laying the futon "Guess we should sleep first" Killua starts to lay himself on the futon
Kallua didn't feel like sleeping yet as he thought maybe right now maybe Gon is getting information about Ging from Mito which he loathed. Because he likes Grandfather Silva more than Ging-jii after all. So he didn't feel like listening for he already knows what information Gon will receive.
"Hey Kallua" Killua said suddenly that alert Kallua "One day, I'll free you"
Kallua look surprised at what Killua just declared next "I may be still weak, even weaker than you. Even though you say you are fine with it, I'm not" Killua gaze deeply at Kallua "I will fight for your freedom and not giving up on you!"
Kallua widen his eyes as he sees how serious Killua is. Killua could only see Kallua lets out a small smile before disappear in split second later, causing him to sit up in surprise.
Only to realize that Kallua is sitting behind him, pulling him again to a hug as he grins and ruffles his hair.
"Hahaha" Kallua laugh happily, even though its just words, he is already content with it " You really grow up well, ne~"
"W-Wha! Oi, cut it off" Killua lightly blushed "Geez!"
Kallua grinned "Alright, alright" Kallua lets go of Killua as he faces him " I'll be looking forward to it"
Killua however, could see that Kallua merely took him in words only, as if teasing him for merely all words and no action.
"I' m serious!" Killua stare at Kallua, narrowing his eyes "Were you not taking my words seriously because I'm weaker than you!?"
Flash of hurt is shown in Killua's face which remind Kallua instantly with Karuze. It's not that he wants to doubt his father, for he already knows his future. Yet, he sees how different currently his parents with him, how he was told he changed.
He didn't meant to hurt people near him, just because he already knew what happened. And to think he did it towards his father, because he knew the aftermath.
Unforgivable.
He punch himself, which earn a surprised slight shout from Killua. He felt the pain yet he knew the pain he just did won't be enough to atone for what he just did towards his father.
"What are you doing!?" Killua instantly grab both of Kallua's hands, fearing he might punch himself once more (which he really would) as Kallua look at him sadly.
"Sorry" Kallua lightly avoid Killua's gaze " I'm just being pathetic for didn't take you seriously"
Killua yelled right in front of his face "That still didn't make you should have punch yourself, Idiot!"
Hearing that only made Kallua shook his head "I told you that I trust you, yet, I betray that by saying that I only took your words and didn't expect much" Kallua look down "I'm sorry"
Killua said nothing which only made Kallua felt worse as he slowly look down once wore. Without any warning, he widen his eyes as he felt Killua is now hugging him.
"Idiot" Killua muttered "To think you are supposed to be the smart and skillful one" Killua lightly chuckles after saying it " You always did so much for me and Gon. For us and we will do the same"
With that, Killua gently broke the embrace "So don't take it all upon yourself. Just like a certain blonde we have"
"Hassyuu"
Kurapika could only sneeze while glaring at the owner of the pair of eyes whom were watching him are now laughing. He silently curse at someone whom were either talking or thinking badly about him currently. Killua were the first one in his mind for making him sneeze.
"Hatsyu!"
Kallua stare silently at Killua whom just sneezed. Kallua tries not to say a thing or think a thing for he didn't want to make a sneeze loophole.
"Che, well anyway. You have the gist of it right?" Killua said, rubbing his nose.
Kallua nodded, giving a slight smile "Thanks, Killua"
Killua lightly blush at that "You keep saying thanks at me" which Kallua grins at that "Better than saying sorry right?" Killua nodded at that.
"Apology accepted" Killua said as he lays on the bed "Just go to sleep, but be careful because-"
"You have bad sleeping habits, keep tossing and turning even when you sleep later or before me" Kallua continued in a knowing tone that made Killua grin and nod at that. He did know and learn in first night for Killua already tries to kick and punch him in his sleep, but he always managed to counter gently in his own sleep so there's no problem.
"Hey Kallua" Killua called out "How should I say this-" Killua stopped before look at Kallua and scratch his neck "It seems you know about us but at the same time you don't"
Kallua only goes silent, thinking that Killua is indeed right for now that he think about it, he is not that much close with his future parents and he keep comparing them both with his past parents for aftermath. That is why he didn't take Killua's words seriously because his future father told him the same thing yet didn't help him much (though he didn't mind it).
"I don't know how but-" Killua cover himself with blanket "Just whatever you know, may be wrong about us so don't just relay on mere information"
And Kallua vow to do so as he lay himself beside Killua to sleep.
Once Gon had finished getting the information, she goes to her room and a smile gracing her lips as she sees both Kallua and Killua lay beside each other asleep, hugging each other closely. This is her first time to see both of his boyfriend and friend were sleeping ahead before her so she didn't have any idea that they would be this close.
"How cute" Gon giggles as she sees the two look alike asleep "Just like brothers"
Had there another witness this, none of them will disagree with what Gon just said.

The next morning, after they had rearrange the futon, made the bed, had breakfast before washing
the dishes. The three of them had a meeting in Gon's room as she shown them the box that Mito gave her last night with a bit stories about her dad.
"So this is the box" Killua said as he plays it around " How do you open it?"
Gon also look clueless " Yeah, I tried a bunch of methods but it wouldn't open"
Killua offered to use force in which Gon nodded to affirm that Killua can do so. However, no matter how much force Killua did, until it leaves him exhausted, the box is still intact, without any sign of damage.
"Ugh, I can't! it's no use!" Killua giving up as he sees the box with hatred for making him feel humiliated in front of Gon "I can easily twist open an ordinary steel box. And also since we don't know what's inside, we can't break the box" Killua starts to shake the box "There's no sound either"
With that, Killua let his gaze towards Kallua "Can you open it?" Remembering Gon said that Kallua was capable of opening the testing gate of his house with all the way.
"Gon can open it" Kallua said as he took the box then handed it towards Gon" Like your father said, surely you know what you have as a Hunter that you didn't have before"
Killua is now smile in understanding as Gon brightens up "Oh, right! Hunter License!" As she carry her hunter license, she had no idea on where to put her license at the box for there is no opening, causing both Kallua and Killua to goes sweatdropped.
"That's not it, Gon. We meant Nen" both Kallua and Killua said it at the same time which made Gon blush in embarrassment.
Afterwards, Gon letting out her Nen as she held the box and releasing her Ten which made the box sense her aura and instantly lets out a bright light, causing all the steel plates to fall off and revealing another box.
"This is an ordinary steel piece with nothing was connecting them" Killua said as he took one of the steel piece before noticing something and throws it towards Gon. "Doesn't that design seem familiar?"
Gon look blankly about it with no recollection until Kallua mention Wing that makes her remember that the design is similar with the thread of promise Wing gave that will snap if Nen was used. It was then she noticed the box had opening, she use her license card and it opens which made them grin.
The three look at the three items inside the box, revealing a ring, memory card and cassette tape. Kallua instantly felt his watch after he sees both the ring and the memory card, he knows both of them were necessary tools for the game, Greed Island which made by Ging-Jii. Kallua could only gives a silent gaze at both Killua and Gon whom currently looking at the ring. He did already clear the game as Ging-Jii gave him Greed Island console as (late!) birthday present and then added modified console (with Ging permission) in his watch along with his ring inside so he could visit Ging-Jii friends anytime he wanted because they already like a family for him (Not to mention some are spoiling him)
They decided to listen to the cassette tape first with Killua advising to record for in case which silently Kallua knew it would be useless considering he know how much crafty and slick Ging-Jii is but didn't say anything not to give himself any more. Once they had put the cassette tape inside the radio and make a backup, Gon press the play button and they wait for whatever is recorded inside.
"Yo Gon" the three blinked at the voice "So you become a Hunter too, Huh" Gon noted the voice as her father while Kallua tried to hide his annoyance in hearing Ging-Jii voice "Anyway I have a question for you. Do you want to see me?"
Gon blinked at that as she heard another of Ging's voice "if you want to see me, keep listening. If you don't want to, press the stop button"
Without a doubt, the three keep waiting for Ging to continue.
"I'm guessing that's a `yes'" Ging continued "Then I'll ask you once more, are you prepared? Hunters are selfish creatures. They are willing to sacrifice anything to get what they want. If you are only slightly interested in seeing me, you should stop the tape now. I'll give you a minute to consider it"
"Well?" Killua said as he looks at Gon and already knew her answer. The three decided to just wait until a minute passes by.
"I guess you really do want to see me" Ging's voice returned "But I don't want to see you" Hearing that made both Killua and Gon gasp slightly while Kallua had to restrain himself not to punch the radio as he thought `That guy didn't change at all!'
The voice keep going "I don't know how I could face you now. After all, I choose my own desires over my parental duty. I'm a bad person. I'm guessing by the time you hear this tape, at least ten years will have passed. But one thing still hasn't changed, I'm still me. As you listen to this tape, I'm off doing reckless things. If you want to see me, find me. But as I said before, I don't want to see you. If I sense you nearby, I'll make myself scarce. Catch me if you can. You are a Hunter, aren't you?"
Kallua can only sigh inside as he too, when he has to meet Ging-Jii, he has to find him by himself. When he look at Gon, he could sense her determination while letting out her aura. After listening, Killua could tell that Ging won't be easy to track, Kallua definitely agree with that. When Killua is about to stop the tape, Gon didn't let him as she could still sense Ging's presence is still inside the tape.
"Oh, I forgot to mention something, its about your mother" that statement made Gon slightly flinch as Killua seems interested "If you want to know more, keep listening, if you're not interested-"
Gon presses the stop button almost immediately.
"Are you sure?" Killua asked while Gon nodded which made Killua said "But he might have left you a clue"
"I doubt it" Gon said in return "That's what my gut tells me, besides my mom is Mito-san"
"I see" Killua said as Kallua merely respect Gon's decision.
As Gon is about to grab something for three of them to eat, The tape suddenly lets out aura and the button rewind just being played by itself. Kallua had his eye twitching the entire time, as they tried to stop when the radio starts recording to erase the message. Even when they take the plug off, punching the radio and tries to break it, it didn't work with the Nen guarding the tape. In the end, the cassette tape became useless, with the copy also had the content wiped out.
`So Ging-Jii like-ish... Maybe when I track him down next time, I'll gave him a punch to his face' Kallua thought, still having his eye twitching and look slightly annoyed.
"You okay Kallua? You somehow look annoyed" Killua asked, worried which made Kallua feels a bit guilty to make Killua worry.
"I'm fine" Kallua said "Just annoyed that he left some clues then erasing it so it won't leave more clues" Killua completely agrees with that while trying to explain to Gon on how a mere audio clip were able to give more information for more clues, then also there's Nen that could also be analyzed.
"Your dad's a tough nut" Killua said, feeling challenged after knowing it won't be easy after what Ging just did while Kallua blankly thoughts `or he is just nuts'
"In any case, the tape is useless now" Killua said after seeing the remaining two items " I doubt the ring will help but the memory card would be important"
"It sure is smaller than normal memory card" Gon noted as she asked out loud "Maybe you need a special machine to use it?"
Killua look surprised while Kallua knows that Gon would definitely had no idea
"You can't tell? This memory card only works with the JS" Killua said, showing the memory card while Gon still had no idea
"Gaming console that is called JoyStation. It's really old, already nine generations old" Kallua said, reminiscing on how nostalgic for haven't play the game in a long time.
Killua gives Kallua a strange look "Oi, its only three generations old"
With that, Kallua sharply turns at Killua with sweatdrop "O-Oh, right" giving awkward laugh for slipping information about him in future before facing Gon "Anyway, we need console to check the memory chard"
"True" Killua seems pumped up "We can find where to buy it. It may be old but the market still has it"
Kallua lets out a sigh of relief as he was glad that Killua didn't press anything further. It was then decided that Killua will buy the game console while asking it to be delivered in Whale Island at same day. Kallua of course while Gon excitingly wait for the item and deliveries, asking for Killua to put all the cost on his account, which Killua happily do so.
Once it arrives, Gon look at the console with interest as its the first time she laid her eyes on its. Both Killua and Kallua gets nostalgic (Kallua didn't show it despite feeling it) Gon keep looking the memory card for clue but Killua shrug it off as he sets up the console to the TV while silently thinking how did Gon goes through her childhood without games?! In a sense, it is quite amazing.
"This is not game disc, it just holds game save data. We insert the memory card and turn the power on to see which games are in the memory" Killua said as he tries to see the game inside the data and found out there's one game called Greed Island.
"I doubt it will do any good but I'll copy the data just in case" Killua said, copying the game. As waiting for the process, he tries to find the store where they sold the game but surprised when there's none were for sale and in stock.
As Killua speculated some reasons that it might be illegal, Kallua suddenly piped in "Its actually a legal game, hunting game for Hunters" both Killua and Gon turn to look at him as he directed them towards a website then their eyes bulge at the net price.
"Five hundred, eighty million!?" Gon shouted in shock which goes corrected by both Killua and Kallua "It's five billion, eight hundred million!" Which made her shocked more.
"Ridiculous!" Killua protested especially after hearing only hundred copies were available "that's even practically nothing! The developers were cocky! The number is way too low!"
After calming himself down forcefully, Killua looks at the website again "The price is ridiculous but Hunters can afford it. That explains why they sold out"
"Do the makers have any left in stock?" Gon questioned in which Killua do so, asking but getting answer that the game are no longer in stock and there are no plans to print additional copies.
"With the ridiculous price and rarity, no wonder people calling it a legendary game" Kallua said which then interest Killua suddenly.
"Hey Kallua, you seems to know one or two thing about Greed Island. As you know it is a legal game for Hunters" Killua said which made Kallua slightly flinched.
"Yeah, only few informations about it" Kallua said "That and the game will be auctioned in Yorknew City"
Both Killua and Gon instantly had their whipped towards Kallua's directions.
"What the- That is a big information!" Killua screech which made Kallua sweat dropped. While Gon gasped "Yorknew is where we will meet Kurapika and Leorio. Karuze too!"
"Well uh, really?" Kallua trail his eyes in another direction "Well we do need a lot of money for it"
Both of them realizes it as Killua checks all of their money in arena pooled together "With all three of us, the money total is 1 billion 5 hundred jennies which Gon laments they need 4 billion 3 hundreds more. Especially when Killua added more that the seller might raise the price, and when they made the ad, thousands applied which definitely made both of them hit rock bottom.
Kallua decided to add more hints "Yeah, if only we have someone who knows both on game and NET" Silently Kallua stares at Killua as he mentions that.
With that, Killua lets out a sour face as a certain someone pops up in his memory.
"Oh, there's someone who knows a lot about both" Realizing Gon's excited look, Killua stares at his phone for a bit before tuns bitter "he might have Greed Island but I don't want to ask him"
However knowing that Killua is the only one has the lead and wanting to make his girlfriend happy, he decided to make the call.
"Oh Gotoh?"
Hearing Gotoh's name made Gon remember Gotoh's face.
"Yeah, I'm doing fine... Right now? Who cares where am I. If I tell you, my mother might find out. Anyway put Piggy on"
"Piggy?" Gon instantly picturing a human with pig face that made Kallua hold his snickers about Milluki as he can mainly guess how Gon would picturing the Piggy.
Kallua could guess that Uncle Milluki must have saying that he went out so he wont talk to Killua but pretty sure Killua could catch such bare-faced lie like that, and his guess is right.
"Don't lie! He never goes outside! Tell him if he didn't answer the phone in ten seconds, I'll break all of his figures!"
Kallua guess again that Uncle Milluki will let Killua in the phone, since he is annoyed with the threat and he hits the jackpot
"I was just kidding, Bro. You don't have to get so mad"
"Aniki?" With that, Gon once more picturing, Gittarackur whom pulling out a needle to reveal Illumi.
Killua then telling his brother about Greed Island, whom surprised to hear such legendary game name and didn't have the game. Saying he is five years old when the game stars being on sale despite he wants it so bad and didn't have the money. There's also over twenty thousand requests for a hundred copies. Once he had money and look for it later, he couldn't even find an owner. Once Killua taunt him about giving up, he decided to tell Killua the lead after agreeing for a trade with the memory island of Greed Island.
"Sorry, I end up trading the copy of the memory card for the lead" Killua said which Gon nodded in understanding for it just the copy and hearing the two pieces of solid information.
"First there's hunter website, only accessible by Hunters. We can probably find the lead of the game inside" Gon whom getting excited, pulled out her license and about to use it when both Kallua and Killua stops her with saying using home computer is risky for other people would know and will have bad guys wanting her license will show up on the island.
Gon just realizes it and mutter sorry, getting unbelievable look from Kallua and Killua whom asking her to use public computers like in Net cafe or hotel when they get the address later after the trade.
Killua continued "The second lead is the auction in Yorknew City" Killua look at Kallua "Just like what you said, the city will host the worlds greatest auction while saying that someone will distribute dozens of copies at the auction"
Gon nodded as her eyes twinkled "Could that someone be Ging?"
"Yeah, that theory makes the rumor more credible" Killua said while Gon continued in statement that takes them back from the start "We'll need a crazed amount of money to buy a copy"
The three sigh at that.
"But I guess it really was our destiny to go to Yorknew City" Gon said with a smile and determination which made both Killua and Kallua grin at same time.
Once they are done cleaning up, the three of them goes downstairs which made them surprised to see a feast.
"Whoa! There's so much food! What's the occasion?" Gon said merrily before surprised at what Mito just said " You won't be back for a while, right?"
"Mito-san" Gon merely called out but Mito seems understanding as she spoke "Who knows when your next chance to eat will be? Fill up now"
Gon lets out a smile as she nodded while Mito's mother looks at Mito, Killua and Kallua look at Gon as if witnessing their silent promise. It was then Gon giving a signal to eat, which followed by everyone to do so.
Once morning comes, the three finally finishing packing up and sets sail to go to the YorkNew city. Gon yelled out her promise to Mito, where she will find Ging and return to the island when she found him. Asking her to take care of herself when she does so. Mito eyes wavering a bit, thinking it might be a long time for her to see her niece again but remain strong. Both Killua and Kallua look at Gon whom keep staring at silhouette of the Whale island getting smaller and smaller in their horizon.
`This sure reminds me when we are parting with Karuze' Kallua thought as he remembers when Karuze called his name for the first time.
Kallua instantly mused at his thought, he wonders what did Karuze did now. For he sure that he is fine and he is certainly going to be with someone whom he knows.
"Karuze, I'm pretty sure you will have so much fun there even when we are apart" Kallua mumbled lightly as he sees both of his past parents are discussing about the auction "Don't worry about me, I have fun with them too"
Kallua let his gaze up to the sky "He'll better tell me everything, with his own mouth"
With that, he gives a smirk for he will make sure Karuze will do so.
