Chapter 17: Bodyguard X Spiders X Shadow Beast
As the ship sails away, the same time, Karuze currently in the Hunter agency along with Kurapika whom are now ready for their journey. Kurapika look at Karuze whom tagging along before about to come inside the Hunter Agency as he being remembered by the one who is in charge, praising him indirectly for manage to find the place. Hearing that made him remembered when the first time he set his foot inside.
"You find the place by yourself, you must be pretty sharp but I can't recommend you to our valuable client. I have no problem with your lack of experience for some clients don't mind greenhorns. But it isn't experience alone that you lack"
Hearing what the one in charge said made Kurapika goes angry as he insists that he have a Hunter License which countered by "Your exam still hasn't finished yet"
The one in charge smirked for knowing as she lets out her shaped aura "You can't see anything right?" Kurapika could only goes silent, for he cant see a thing but he can sense something.
Knowing he won't be employed, Kurapika decided to leave the agency. He indeed felt frustrated as he walks out of the agency, deep in his mind before then having his hunter license taken by the stranger then afterwards being taken as a student to learn more about Nen. He felt frustrated more when he learn he falls into Conjurer when he wishes to be Enhancer but he can't do a thing with what he born with.
"Both of us are looking for someone who has a lot of influence on the Yorknew auction. The nature of the job itself is irrelevant"
Kurapika snap himself out of his thoughts as he looks at Karuze whom already asking about what kind of employers they wish to seek. His gaze falls under Karuze, whom just in a mere one month ago suddenly shows up in his presence, introducing himself as Kallua's brother then decided to tag along with him for a while which definitely cause him headache at first but slowly getting used to him as he is not as annoying as Mizuken, his so-called teacher. He has a lot of questions to ask but he did already promise Kallua that he won't pry so he didn't even ask anything further towards Karuze. Instead, he just relieved that Gon and Killua with Kallua were alright, and that's all matters.
"We have three of them. Three employers who will decide based on the interview, rather than your record and they're only looking for bodyguards. I'll give you descriptions, so make your choice" the one in charge said, cause both of them to be in alert for they had to make the choice instantly.
" The first one is a gun fanatic. Specifically, he's looking for a Midget Corp Golsnake 55, Limited Edition, Series #001. The second one is a collector of fine China. Wants Lord Corp, commerative plates from 1655 and 1657. The third one collects human covered in snaking dragon tattoos, jellied infant skulls, etc. A fascinating hobby"
That end statement made Karuze react silently. With Karuze knows that is the employer they are seeking as they are given the descriptions. Seeing the one in charge astonish look, he turn towards Kurapika to see his scarlet eyes are glowing behind his contact lenses.
"Uh, we take the third employer. Please set the appointment date and place for the interview" Karuze said as the one in charge then nodded and set both of them before they left though its more like Karuze dragging Kurapika out whom still deep in mind as thinking about spiders will appear in auction. Karuze then noticed someone look behind both of them but didn't think further and continued to drag Kurapika out, feeling they will meet once more.
"Listen Kurapika, you really need to control yourself, geez" Karuze said after Kurapika finally paid attention "I know how you feel but you really should stop doing that" Karuze of course, referring when Kurapika shows his eyes turn scarlet in rage.
Kurapika merely shrugged "That comes from someone with two different eye color and refused to use contact lenses to cover them" Karuze whom hears that, instantly counter at that "I hate contact lenses! My eyes are sensitive in using them!"
Kurapika silently chuckles at that.
The appointment date are finally arrives, the two of them arrives in a large mansion with huge gates which they admire for a short while before Kurapika press the doorbell to alert their presence.
Kurapika yelled "This is Kurapika" "And Karuze" Karuze piped in which made Kurapika turn to look at Karuze for a bit before continued "We are sent by Agency"
Few seconds later, the gate opened and they walk inside with some Doberman following them for a while before they enter the house. Once the butler welcoming them, they were shown to a room where there were already have some people waiting. Some people mutter at amateur will arrive at last minute while some surprised to see a..kid? as bodyguard? But Karuze and Kurapika merely ignores them. When Kurapika about to take a seat, he is approached by a lady whom dressed quite..sexily.
"Boy, would you like to kiss me?" The lady asked Kurapika whom slightly taken aback as stares in silence while Karuze tries to hold his laughter "Don't you know? It's a common way to greet people in Chicago. It's called Instant love"
Few moments of staring, Kurapika finally replies "I didn't grow up in that city. I don't follow that tradition" before leaves in which the lady only blow a kiss towards his back while Karuze snickers as he follows Kurapika before then notices the person whom looking at both of them back then near the Agency.
They started to seat themselves comfortably while waiting for a bit before the butler comes back, bringing a remote then press a button to show a monitor with a man welcomes them then stating the requirements to be hired by obtaining the item they desire before one month when the auction starts as they have no limit on people they hired. At the end, they are given data card on item list they have to obtain for hiring requirement. They started to view each items and when it's the turn of seeing the eyeballs of a Kurta, Karuze instantly look at Kurapika.
"Hmm? What's wrong? You look pale" one candidate, macho guy said as he look at the list before turn to look at his list "Preserve the scarlet hue immediately following death. Preferably with the head included"
Karuze silently stares at the guy, thinking that guy just unintentionally starts a fight with the last survivor fo Kurta as he continues "I've heard rumors that when Kurta get excited, their eyes turn scarlet.."
"Shut up"
"Uwahhh..." Karuze groaned as he sees once more, Kurapika's eyes turn scarlet behind his contact "Not another word" Kurapika said, quite threateningly that made that guy shut his mouth.
The man in the monitor continued "You need to find only one item from the list. If you are successful, you are hired to begin training as bodyguard and a collector. Best of luck"
The monitor went off, taking the sign as that will be all they need to hear. It was then Karuze goes near Kurapika.
"It will be hard to close the distance with the employer. Passing the test is only a small stepping stone" Karuze said in hushed whisper which responded with a nod from Kurapika.
"Indeed, collectors always have two same things they want. Rare things of extreme rarity and also colleagues to share the same hobby.. disgusting" Kurapika said in same tone as Karuze while unintentionally grips the data card hard, causing Karuze to slightly grip Kurapika's arm as he spoke in low tone "Hold it in, if you can find the information exchanged amongst those greedy and competitive collectors, not only you will be closer to them but also the spiders and annihilate them"
Kurapika gives a slight nod before then notice the other group had tries to open the door knob but found it locked. It was then the monitor turn on once more with the same man speaking " I forgot to include, the barest minimum requirement is that you be strong...strong enough to leave this mansion alive"
As that words finish comes out from his mouth, the locked door suddenly destroyed with some swords stabbing through. Everyone instantly took some distance back while Kurapika remain in front lines, as three intruders shot their gun, they hid behind furniture while Kurapika merely use his chains to catch the bullets getting impressed and admiration looks. As the intruders with sword attacks with Kurapika gallantly avoiding, he manage to see six with swords and three with guns while another two are above also with swords as he jump and land above chandelier then continue observing.
The macho guy tries to strike back, having a thought when he strikes. Kurapika could see everything on how the intruders attack and how the others fought back without using Nen. After few observation, Kurapika jump down and finding the one among them whom responsible for the intruders, manipulating them behind the scene. Once they thought everything is already over, the spy starting another fight with stating there is another spy which brought more dispute even when Kurapika had found the other. Before situation turn paranoid, the macho guy interrupt and using his power, asking each other before then finally revealed there's two spies.
The other spy reveal he is a hunter with manipulator skills and admit despite being unmasked, they wont be able to escape alive, that is before the lady intercepts and..kiss him.
"I too a hunter with manipulator skills. This is my power, instant lover for anyone whom I kiss will be my slave"
The spy instantly turn slave-like pathetic looking being stomp in his... well private parts by the lady, earning shocked, sweatdropped look from the others whom watching while Karuze only smirk before looking at Kurapika whom still shocked at seeing the scene in front of him.
"Aren't you lucky that you are not being kissed by her?" Karuze smirk gone wider when Kurapika goes slightly pale, remembering as he felt his lips, inside truly feel glad that that didn't happen towards him or he would suffer the same fate as that spy being interrogated pathetically.
As all the candidates escape the mansion, they watch as many breed of dogs on the yard but merely watching them. It was then the macho guy starts to introduce himself as Basho, a conjurer while lady introduce herself as Veze the manipulator then the other as Melody that capable of hearing heartbeat and didn't reveal her Nen category. Though both Kurapika and Karuze did the same, also didn't reveal their name since they wouldn't know if they will work together or not. They then decided to obtain the needed item before landed the job.
Karuze thought he also should find looking before his thought drifted towards Kallua, wonder what he is up to now. Though he should be in Yorknew already, looking for the game clue with his parents.

"Okay, we got the URL" Killua said after getting the link from the eagle his brother send towards him, earning excited looks (from Gon) agreement nod (from Kallua) which the moment they landed, instantly they go to the Net Cafe, trying to see the information after using Gon's Hunter License. Kallua let both of his parents using the headset so other people can't hear the information since only two people can hear it, he didn't mind for he knows about Greed Island already after all even though Killua did tries to fight for it but ended up grudgingly using it, the same with Gon though Kallua keep assuring them that he is fine.
"Geh.. it cost twenty million Jenny for Greed Island information" Killua only nodded for the game did cost 5 billion more so they had no choice but pay for it. Gon feel like her attitude towards money is getting numb with the amount they have to spend. Once they paid for it, their expression turns serious as Kallua deduct the information might be because the game is made by Nen User.
Once they are done getting the information, they starts to explain what they heard and needed money to get the copy and pass for entering the auction. As they are getting hype in trying to get more money, Kallua silently look at both of his parents while thinking about what he knows about his parents. He did promise he would know more about his parents right now instead of comparing but-
`I thought Papa and Mama had no knowledge about treasure. Won't this will be in downhill fast?' Kallua thought before then having both Killua and Gon asking to use his share of money for look treasure then auction it off plan to increase their money. Hearing that only made Kallua nodded for he had no problem even with giving all of his money he had for them.
It is decided that both Killua and Gon are a team since Killua is the one with cellphone while Gon doesn't have one. Kallua assures them that he could handle his part and he have his own cellphone. It was then after some time passes-
They found themselves drinking can of juice as Gon bitterly turn to look at Killua.
"How much do we have?" Gon asked with Killua answered "Combined, we're at 10.84 million" they heaves a deep sigh at that as they remember the scam they encounter.
"That's why I said we should find the more reliable web sites!"
"If that's really the case, we'd only get 985 jennies in 8 hours! To get 8 billion would take us hundreds of years!"
"At least it's better than losing money!"

The two then starts to argue more which Kallua tries to calm them down as they attract audience for watching a couple having a fight.
"M..Maa, that's enough! Fighting like this won't get us anywhere"Kallua said as he steps in between, hoping both of his parents are not fighting again.
"Besides, we are just starting over" Kallua look at both of them in turn "So it's not a loss"
Hearing that made both Gon and Killua look at Kallua in silent.
"Huh? What?" Kallua asked, his brain are not working properly for his focus are with his parents to stop fighting.
Killua is the one to break the silence "Starting over? What are you saying?"
Kallua blink before his mind finally click "Ah, I did participate also right? In the auction and sell off plan. So here" Kallua took out his cellphone and shows the money he has in his account that successfully made both of Killua and Gon eyes bulge wide.
It was 2 billion 8 hundred jennies.
"Ha..Whu..Ah" Killua stammered as he rub his eyes tries to count once more, but the digit in Kallua's cell phone is real. The same with Gon whom also open mouthed, unable to believe that not only Kallua getting the money back but he also capable to make more than before.
`The perks of having future memories' Kallua thought for he remembers items list that being traded in future and some information about things that have high value he knows in future yet the past has no idea with. He took advantage of his memories by providing those information, connections or performing some trades that were normally impossible and could be seen as prophecy for with his intelligence, he pull it off easily without suffer any casualties for he already taken measurements on that. Enabling him to getting lots of money in short amount of time.
It certainly is nothing towards him for he as triple star hunter whom amass quite large amount of wealth for himself. Though he mostly used those money for the school, equipment and information. Some also were used for funds needed to his parents that mostly using it for their archeologist travels for new discoveries. "If Kallua can do it, then we can do it too, right?"

"Want to have a competition?" Gon asked in which Killua nodded "Okay"
Wait, Kallua now had a bad feeling about them
"Alright, there are still 2 weeks before the York New Auction. We will see who can earn more money with our money divided that's left in between the two of us and it will end on August 31st at 9 pm and whoever gets more money wins! " Gon challenged and Killua accept with the winner will get the loser to do one thing the winner command.
"Eh? Wait,why are you two still competing!?" Kallua again only look at both Killua and Gon in turn whom now look at Kallua.
"You will be the judge!" Killua points at Kallua whom slowly points at himself "You are not allow to participate, you will watch us in these two weeks"
"That's right Kallua! I won't lose! We'll start, now!"
Gon yell the signal and then the two ran in opposite direction of each other, leaving poor Kallua in distress for not knowing on who he should have check. He could only stand in the same position while the audience (yup, they are still watching) look at him as if asking him to do something.
`Father with easy money, gambling. While Mother with wanting to get more money, no doubt going back to Net Cafe and participate in the original plan once more'
Which one should he go to check with? If only there's two of him.
"Argh!" Kallua groaned out loud before he yelled, surprising the audience "Karuze! I NEED YOU!"

Karuze sneeze out suddenly, somehow he feel currently he is being needed but shook his head for he is trying to pass the exam and giving his item. It was then he noticed Kurapika gives him a stare, must be a payback sign from when he laugh because Kurapika sneezed at that time though he does sense more stares from the others coming towards him. For that, he does his best to ignore them as he present his item.
"Brain cell from the assassins dictator, General Shama" Karuze said, handing his items along with the others that are being examined such as Actress Sarah's hair with DNA verification. Mummy's right hand in Egyptian tomb, Dragon skin, disease infected skin and Skull of Unicorn Tribe.
The six of them then formally hired then the head bodyguard introduce himself as Dalzollene and putting all of them immediately to work for escorting the boss to Yorknew City hotel room with private aircraft will take them to Lingon Airport, outside Yorknew. With the moving time 90 mins and the Newcomer will take the most outer part of formation.
`In other words, we will provide the outer ring of security' Karuze thought blankly
When it was time to ask question, Kurapika is the first one to ask on any idea on who might be attacking the boss. But the head dismiss it by stating its not important, and boldly states once more that assumptions, mental profile are all unneeded, all who are close were enemy and that is all.
"Well, why not. Simple is the best after all" Karuze said and seems getting approval look from Dalzollene before asking them to follow to introduce the boss towards them.
On their way in the hallway, they discover a painting with human like 3D coming out from painting. The head calmly said that them five are replacing him and that is his punishment for drew assumptions and putting others in danger. Being terminated.
The head lead the way until they found themselves face to face towards the boss, whom is a young girl with long blue hair named Neon. The girl happily smiles, saying "Nice to meet you, newcomer"
Neon then had her eyes darted around, until it landed on Karuze.
"Whaaa~ Your hair and eyes are so pretty" Neon eyes sparkled, it was the first time she ever seen someone with hair and eyes in two different color " Will you give them to me?"
Karuze cross his arms and look blankly before turn with dead set eyes and said "No"
"Ehhhhh?" Neon whine for a bit before goes cheerful again"Oh well, if you died. I can have them then since you work for me"
They know their boss is body parts collector, but when they see her as cute girl, they already surprised but it adds more when she didn't even hides it.
During the time they are doing their bodyguard duties, they only discuss their boss as important figure in underworld and she is an incredible diviner. With thanks to her father connection, she made clients of some very important people in the underworld and instantly countered by Kurapika whom saying its the other way around, where the father has used his daughter to increase his standing in underworld. Which is why the father is frightened to lose his daughter, afraid that his enemies might strike back at his daughter in which Karuze nodded, definitely admitting Kurapika sharp insight in that. In that moment, he froze as he sees silhouette of familiar people despite it in an instant.
`Spiders' Karuze thought, as someone pop up in his mind `Wonder if he is being involved now'

In late time, in building looks like abandoned and in ruins. Group of people, Troupe members have gathered, all in frustrated, anger and antsy as they waited for a certain someone whom hasn't shown up.

Merely few seconds after that threat, a candle with a fire got blown up by a wind which then a voice suddenly rang across the room they are all in. Playful,familiar voice.
"Oh dear.. That sounds quite gruesome. How very scary" Hisoka said playfully, no hint of regret of apologize for making the others wait for him.
"Hisoka, you bastard!" Uvo said in anger while Shalnark the calm one, decided to break the tension saying "You're late"
"Man, I thought you weren't going to come" Machi said as she stare at Hisoka whom merely reply in easy going tone "you asked me to come...had I broken my promise. I would never get to see your Nen stitches again"
"True, I would love to experience it as well beforehand"
Hearing another voice made the rest in alert as in shadow they sees, a young boy coming towards them without them noticing their presence.
"Ya~ Machi" Fraze grinned "Good to see you" Fraze winks with a hint of playful demeanor.
Hearing that young boy knows Machi made the members look at her silently, demanding explanation.
" So you truly came" Machi said coldly "To throw your life?"
"How cold, I come here with Hisoka in peace" Fraze gives a playful smile " But I don't mind to play for a bit though" Fraze starts to lick his own lips with a slight bloodlust at that which made some of them members grew tense.
Shalnark whom didn't want bloodbath, starts to call their leader "Chief, Hisoka brought someone"
In hearing the word `Chief' as the Leader starts to show himself, Fraze can tell that Hisoka is getting excited and tries to hold himself.
"Hisoka? Who's the kid?" The Chief asked in which Hisoka merely replies "My best friend~ Fraze is his name" which Fraze merely smirk in return.
The Chief look at Fraze for few moments before said "He can remain here as long as he wish"
"Yosha~" Fraze cheered before the Chief turn towards Hisoka "But he is under your care, Hisoka"
"Of course, fufu~" Hisoka chuckled as he pull Fraze towards him whom merely chuckle back. The members are all stare while thinking that those two look like father and son.
Knowing their boss order is absolute and final, they now decided to ask on what are they going to steal. Though Uvogin are mainly asking.
"We shall take the underground auctions treasures"
Hearing that made Shalnark wonders which one of the treasures they are going to stole.
"Ancient text? Because the chief likes books" Machi said, voicing her opinions.
"No, I'm thinking games" Feitan said "There will be multiple copies of the most expensive game ever for sale"
Nobunaga only scoffed " Wouldn't it be logical to take precious metals and gemstones?"
"Everything, we're taking everything that's up to the auction"
Hearing the leaders order made the others look in silent shock as Uvogin voicing everyone's thought.
"Are you serious, chief? The underground auction is run by gangs from across the world. If we do that, we'll be making enemies of them all.."
The chief merely stares before slightly widen his eyes and spoke in normal tone "Are you frightened, Uvogin?"
Uvogin clench his teeth, showing how excited-no thrilled he is for shaking with excitement as he demands orders for them to do right here right now. Once he recites the order, Uvogin roars with excitement, as if sounding the start of their party before broken by a clear question.
"Hey, Chief"
The Chief blink as he sees Fraze suddenly comes at his side while the others seems prepare to get rid of Fraze if he did something towards their leader. However, the Chief only relax then walk until he and Fraze are face to face.
"What is it?" The Chief asked while at same time, trying to figure out what is Fraze's intention.
Fraze gives a smirk "Mind if I join the fun? To kill that is"
Everyone stares silently at Fraze, thinking theres no way they would let non-member joining their mission. However, seeing the Chief nodded and gives permission for him to be able to do so , they let Fraze going to tag along later for their mission and silently trying to gauge his power.
In the same time, Karuze along with the others are having a meeting for their next assignment on trying to win the three items their boss wanted at the underground action with money as no object. Those items are complete mummy of Princess Corco, a tissue used by the actor, Son Remarch that is complete with the DNA validation and the last item...made Karuze glance at Kurapika for the last item were the eyeballs of Kurta, the scarlet eyes.
It was then Dalzone mention there will be information about the attack on the underground action so there would be need for them to prepare for any unexpected complications while focusing on their primary objective of obtaining those items.
'Information about attacks yet they still makes the obtaining item as priority..' Karuze thought with hidden smirk 'That divination boss really is a selfish one'
After everybody dismissed, Karuze wonders about what Kallua had been doing. Consider it's their first time separate this long and far, he starts to wonder if he should have bought phone for communication with his winning money. Yet, thinking Kallua seems to be helpless without him brought a chuckle and responded with Kurapika looking at him oddly.
"What's so funny?" Kurapika blankly look at Karuze whom shrugged as he said "Oh nothing, just remembering something funny"
He did look forward on the day they will meet again, for now he should focus on his side job with Kurapika at his side while occasionally still curious about Kallua's side.

Kallua in the first week decided to follow his mother whom fired up and trying to auction stuff. Kallua tries to stay out of it for several days considering Gon keep telling him that she started to get the hang of it. But at the end, Kallua end up dropping some subtle hint that Gon luckily pick up and didn't think its from Kallua. The same time while Gon tries to do her best in auction online, Kallua tries to make a fake I.D so he could go through casino. He concluded that his mother will be fine in the first week and probably wont be in such a bad predicament.
In his second week, he finally goes to the casino. Easily pass with his appearance and his believable I.D. He looks around and finally found his father with his winnings. Completely more than what Gon makes in her first week. Killua seems had no surprise that Kallua able to come in for he doesn't look like a kid but doesn't look too much adult either. Yet Killua then starts to look proud at his winnings before whisper his laments on how he had to pay Milluki for ID for hefty amount of Jenny, thinking he should have ask Kallua to make his I.D for cheaper price even though Kallua said he will do it for free. It was then Killua starts to gather his winning to play again, leaving Kallua alone. Kallua sighed as he looks at his absorbed father, then looking at all the game in the Casino. Now that he thinks about it... how long has it been since lastly he gambled? When he's seven? Considering he got blacklisted for being absolute winner and he has a chance now to play... he should, no, had to take the chance!
Then, 1 September finally arrived with they are all in the auction market. It was then after Kallua had declare Gon is the winner because Killua lost all of his winnings.
"Gambling is bad you know" Gon said clearly while Killua had annoyed look as he pointed that Gon only wins few thousand Jenny before Gon retort by it being better than nothing.
"Damn, I envy that guy" Killua said as he grumbling which brought Gon tilt her head in understanding while Kallua slightly flinch. "Everyone keep making a big deal of someone whom managed to sweep all of the money in the casino. Leaving few amounts of chips for everyone, all of his winnings are even enough to cover for the cost of buying the casino, especially considering he wins against the owner"
Gon seems amazed "You didn't know who is that guy, Killua?" In which Killua shook his head "If I knew, I would have ask him to taught me to gamble"
Kallua turn his head away from both of them. Without a doubt, it was him who sweep all of the money in casino. He made two I.D and was using his Nen to manipulate his appearance and Nen (taught by Illumi-Sensei) which cause Killua unable to recognize him. His fake appearance are being blacklisted again, well it was fun while it lasted though.
As the prize of winning for the loser to do anything the winner want, Gon order Killua to accompany her in the market which brought them in the place and looking around before realize that Gon in need for a phone, considering it is a standard gear. Once they look around on which phone to buy, Leorio suddenly chimes in, earning beams from Gon and Killua while Kallua nodded in greetings. As Leorio gives his recommendation of phone Beetle 07, Killua goes interested and wanting to buy as well while Kallua shook his head, his phone is far more amazing and he even capable of giving modifications so he don't need it. As Leorio get shocked in hearing the price for the two, he instantly gets in heat battle of...haggling that made the shopowner gave the price of a piece as 110.058 Jenny. Leorio still brag about how he got his phone way cheaper than theirs on their way to lunch.
"Talk about overkill, I never seen a cell phone purchase greeted with applause" Killua slightly laments as he hold his new phone, still remembering what had transpired.
"That was quite an experience" Kallua piped in "For I never participate in haggle before"
Leorio slightly narrow his eyes at that "What are you, Kallua? A rich kid?" In which Kallua instantly replied "Not really, I'm just capable to make money I need by myself"
Leorio glares while mumbling unfair stuff in which Kallua only tilt his head, not understanding why Leorio is mad. Killua and Gon knew Kallua definitely capable, for they had seen he is able to gain more back in online auction while they make bad investment. As they are going to a place for lunch, Leorio is once again shocked with three of them capable of going to 200's in heavens arena then hearing Gon finally able to return the tag to Hisoka. Though Leorio tries to show off what he had learn, the three of them were just stare blankly at him for he only had mastered Ten and nothing else. Once they get back to hotel, they told Leorio the story of they are trying to buy Greed Island, the legendary game that may hold a clue on finding Ging which now they are more focused on the problems right now, the cost of the game.
"8.9 billion!? That's insane!" Leorio even spit his coffee in shock as owning that much of money is quite impossible feat. "How much do you have?" Leorio asked again in which Gon slightly scratch her head while Killua stare nonchalantly at the wall and Kallua only shrugged as Gon gives out the answer.
"We made a billion at first but we made some bad investments so we're down to 5 million. Minus of Kallua's money though"
Leorio's mind instantly in disbelief, a billion yet already down to few million? Leorio instantly laugh, knowing truly how the words runs on money and need money in everything. Fed up with the money talk, Kallua tries to break it.
"Uh, well. You guys can use my money as fund, I can go back to earn money again if you want me to. I'll try to earn more than 8.9 billion within the remaining time" Kallua said before goes in a thought `although I earn quite a lot in casino. Things should be fine'
He thought the group would agree as both Leorio and Gon look at him as if he is a savior. But then Killua spoke his opinion.
"Considering the rate of gaining this game is low because you only need money, that just means that a real treasure can't be bought. If you can't obtain this kind of items in ease, you can't be considered a pro Hunter, right?"
Hearing that made both Gon and Leorio grumble and instantly try to find another way to increase their fund. As they are researching, Kallua approach Killua, looking slightly annoyed.
"Why did you do that? I can just handle it for you guys" Kallua said lowly for he didn't want to interrupt Gon and Leorio.
Killua shook his head and spoke softly as well "Look, we appreciate what you did but have some faith in us as well. We are not going to use you just so we could reach our goal. All together of us will do what we can and we will together do it"
"Killua..." Kallua spoke in amazement as he continues in the same tone "But right now you are not doing anything, you are just making both Gon and Leorio to do the work, right?
And Killua only gives a low chuckle while Kallua seems silently applauding his father cunning mind.

Leorio's voice brought both Killua and Kallua stand close to see what they had found. Swap technique of auction technique which is the slang for the exchange of goods. It was then the topic of Bind coming.

When Killua noticed that Kallua notice him, he instantly turn away, he knows how pure Kallua is like Gon, so he tries not to give any hints to taint him, he just mouthed `nothing` towards Kallua whom then merely pats him on the head in response which made his blush gone as he just enjoy the petting feelings. While both Gon and Leorio discuss more about bind then Leorio finally gets what to do in Bind auction.
"Alright, let us go prepare for our first binding auction!" Leorio cheer as he prepares to leave while Gon look at Killua in envy for being petted by Kallua in which he let his free hand pets Gon as well. Seems Kallua's petting has become a popular thing for the two of them.
The three finally finish after Leorio yell at them to hurry up, as they goes for preparation, Kallua noticed he had a call from unknown number. Noticing he had done his own share, he picks up the call.
"Hey Kallua, been a while, right?"
Kallua slowly smiles at the voice as he replies "Karuze, you are having a nice bodyguard duty with Kurapika?"
Karuze spoke with dissatisfaction "Geez, that Kurapika always goes scarlet whenever Kurta eyes are mentioned. In any case, I'm in rear duty for now and Kurapika are together with Melody. The auction for the mummy the boss wanted are on but we are not involved in the auction"
Kallua gives a blank look "You know what would happen in the auction, are you trying to go to death!? In any case, Gon, Killua and I are currently reunited with Leorio and all of us are trying to earn money for the game. And before you ask, Killua ask me not to handle it by myself so I'm going in their way to earn money.
Karuze gives a laugh "Seriously? Looks like you guys are walking on thin thread for me. Oh well, I guess I should hope for your success, I have to go now. Going for the rear duty soon"
Kallua looks at the preparation and noticing they are going to start soon as well "Same goes with me, well, congrats on having a phone. I'll see you soon, take care of Kurapika and be on guard if you meet with Fraze with the spiders"
"Yeah, yeah I know" Karuze waves his hand dismissively even though he knows Kallua can't see him "See ya"
As the call ended, Leorio starts to give speech about auction where arm wrestling will be the winning bet where the winner will get 3 million diamond with the appraisal with the entry fee of 10.000 Jenny fee. Naturally, seeing their opponent is a little kid and moreover a girl, lots of people starts crowding, knowing they would win. Kallua knows they wont but he is slightly worries for Gon's bad acting skills as the first challenger almost noticing something. While Killua finally knows how conditioning auction works now and knowing they needed 889.999 wins which is quite impossible feat.
After one hundred and fifty people, they watch how Gon seems look tired and everything while in reality she feels bad as she breaks in cold sweat for deceiving people and getting easy money. It was then a female challenger appeared in which made Kallua slightly on guard for he knows that woman is part of Spider. He is quite worried that she would win, but seeing her hesitation look when she offer her hand, Kallua instantly deduct that she is left-handed which would made her mother able to win.
After some struggle, finally Gon able to win. After the woman left, Killua approach Gon silently, knowing she just use her full strength. At that time, no one but Kallua notice the Spider means the auction will be in danger.
`Should I call Karuze to be alert? But he is in rear guard and while Kurapika in front guard, they are not involved in the auction directly. So it seems there had no need for do so' Kallua thought before Leorio announce for the auction continue once more.

Karuze could yawn in boredom as he's guarding. He thought there might be murder when the boss protested as she keeps crying and throwing things around because she can't go to the auction. Too bad though, as boredom is getting worse for him, he starts to wonder about Kurapika. As he sneak off without a problem, he goes to Kurapika's side which Melody noticed, for there are additional heartbeat present.
"What are you doing here!? Get back to your post" Kurapika said coldly, almost threatening in which Karuze raise his hands in mock surrender " hey chill, the auction time is still not begin yet and there is no movement. I'll be back before you know it" Karuze grins "We already report that nothing happens so there are no problems"
Kurapika goes silent before he face the auction building then Karuze follows as he stood beside him. The two silently look at the auction building, it was then Melody look at both of them then starts to spoke.
"To be honest, I have seen both of you leaving the hunter Agency. When you two walk past me, I have heard the same melody. More specifically, coming from him" Melody said, definitely mentioning Kurapika "I heard the same melody as well"
Kurapika seems curious while Karuze just goes silent, as Melody drop the sensitive topic "Scarlet eyes" undoubtedly Kurapika react inside, which Melody knows whenever the topic and the picture of it appears, the heartbeat becomes fury as it plays the melody of boundless fury. Knowing Kurapika can't lie, he started to admit he is a Kurta Clan, having eyes that turn scarlet when excited and trying to take back all the eyes from his Clan.

Things then got silent for few moments, after that it was broken by Karuze.
"Its about to start, the auction it is"
Hearing that made both Melody and Kurapika starts to be on guard, as Karuze goes to leave "I'm going back to my station then. No worries, I wont tell anything" Karuze waves his hand dismissively. Melody seems relieved as she is actually forgotten about Karuze, but hearing the honest beat from Karuze is enough. Still, after focusing her hearing on Karuze, now she notice the heartbeat seems to be resonate in hollow, which is the first time she ever heard this. She shook and tries to focus on the job, as the moment is close.
Karuze was lucky that when he return, no one notice him missing as he just back in doing what he's supposed to do, though he skips it for few minutes. It was then they get contact for the front guard stating something happened, where there are commotion inside which not only everyone in the building are missing, even the merchandise are also empty. Order of catching the thieves has been placed in which Karuze smirking at that.

In the same moment, Fraze currently with some spiders are boarding through hot air ballon. Fraze slightly whine that he didn't get to kill. Currently Uvogin are on the phone, reporting to the Chief that there might be Judas among them, a traitor. In that moment, some of the spiders look at Fraze for that in which he merely grin. Yet, the Chief knows there is no traitor because Judas is no traitor for he sold Jesus for thirty piece of silver coins. Especially in Fraze case, they seen him as a kid and no one would take him seriously even when he asked for money,glory,prestige that not just Fraze but also other members would have no any care about those in which Uvogin agrees.
It was then the Chief brought the possibility of there is informant who gives information that are not truly explicit yet being believed by the Mafia leader. Afterwards about how the merchandise were moved, the lead about Ten Dons then their special force the Shadow Beasts appear and might be one of them responsible for the merchandise. Most likely to be Owl, the Nen users that may have similar Nen with Shizuku. In hearing that after knowing they could let loose, Uvogin laugh while Fraze chuckled as he is impressed with the Chief deduction, it truly reminds him with Kallua.
As the spiders head for their trap place, the Gordeau Dessert. They completely lured those mafia which might ask Ten Dons for dispatching the Shadow Beast. And they were right, because not only they lured them, they even lured Karuze's group whom are on their way.
Fraze getting excited, seeing so many crowd of people gather to die. As he is about to go for kill, Uvogin tells them not to interfere which brought protest from Fraze.
"Oi! I want to kill as well!" Fraze glared at Uvogin whom merely grin as he laugh before slide down as he spoke "First come, first serve idiot~"
Fraze eye starts to twitch from that comment. He was about to jump down himself but Nobunaga gives him a silent glance of warning not to interfere. Getting the message, Fraze goes to watch Uvogin, still pouting like a little kid in envy as he sees Uvogin finally starts the massacre, like gorilla stomping on the ants.
"Since watching wont be fun, how about we play cards?" Shalnark suggested in which brought gleam in Fraze eyes as he proposed Strip poker. Without a doubt, Machi instantly glare while Shalnark bluntly rejects the idea, blushing as he yells the rejection. Fraze goes pouting once more but at least he joins the game of cards without strip poker.
It was then Karuze finally arrives with the group whom just in time to see Uvogin capable to block bazooka with bare hand as he lets out his Nen and starting the massacre once more. Seeing Uvogin strength made most people in their group starts to be in distress yet Dalzone stated they can't abandon their mission. Before a fight starts in the group, Melody stated she suddenly hear an additional heartbeat coming from somewhere and Karuze lightly mention there are also several people coming. Instantly they turn around and greeted by Worm, a Shadow beast from underground before then more of the Shadow Beast are coming, Rabid Dog, Porcupine and Leech. Four of the Shadow Beasts goes to apprehend Uvogin in which Karuze knew, they will lose.
`Just like Kallua says, I do see Fraze there, pouting as he plays card game. Guess his strip poker idea is rejected. In any case, too bad that I don't have any action here. Wonder what will happen after they seeing the Shadow Beast lose' Karuze thought as he sees the group before once more smirk when his gaze landed on the Shadow Beast before their end.
