Chapter 2 "Purple Sky"
As Raymond walked down Route 120, he passed an ancient ruin. "Legend has it that a pokemon responsible for creating the Sinnoh region is locked away here, or at least a key to unlock him. This task isn't for me though. What the-" Raymond noticed an egg of some sort, it looked white with Green and red spots on it. Raymond reached out to touch it, and the egg started to glow.
He shielded his eyes from the brilliance and a cute Pokémon crawled out of the shell and cried "Ralts". The Ralts had Blue hair, a rare variant of the pokemon only 1 in 8192 have the "shiny gene" as some professors call it. The Ralts lept into Raymond's arms and nuzzled him and fell asleep in his jacket. "Better tell this to the professor when i get to Littleroot" he whispered, when he made it to Lilycove he bumped into a tan girl with long black hair "watch it kid" said the mystery girl. "Sorry ma'am," said Raymond, but the Ralts woke up and pushed the girl away with what looked like Telekinesis, "Psi-" Yelped Raymond " Ma'am I am so sorry for my Pokémon's behavior, I could make it up to you."
"Just get out of my way punk" said the girl.
"Shelly, now that's no way to treat my friend" said a familiar voice
"Sorry boss" said Shelly
"Archie?" Raymond said with shock
"Carvy is the fastest water type I have but I do have my Mightyena" Archie said petting his Mightyena "Lilycove port is over down south of the Department store past the Contest hall." Said Archie walking away
"Wait Archie, does Maxie know?" Asked Raymond
"I prefer him not to find out. He'd be furious if he knew his best friend was the leader of Team Aqua" Archie said sorrowfully. And like that he and Shelly disappeared into the distance as Raymond boarded the ship to Slateport.
