Hi guys! This is a little something I was thinking about. Its Hurt!Steve, Caring/worried everyone else. You tell me if you want the comfort part.

Hope you guys like it and review~

Set in around Avengers.

The first thing he recognized was that someone had a hold on his arm, arms actually.. both his arms.

"Relax, relax. Hey, look at me, you need to calm down. The fight is over. You need to-"

Fight? What fight? There was a fight, is he in a fight. He shouldn't be horizontal in a fight he needs to throw hands, shields, car doors, bad guys whatever he could find since guns were not really his thing and fists eventually started hurting a lot.

"Mmh.. mnh.." He pulled at his arms, but he couldn't stop trembling. Talking was just him moaning and he, to himself, sounded like he was terrified. He was terrified, confused.. What was even going on? What had happened?

"Steve, Steve.. hey, hey, hey! No no.. c'mon buddy, don't freak out on me now.. stay with me, Cap!"

If he could just stop shaking, "S-sss.. nn'gg.." Steve was trying to ask whoever was talking to him to let him go, but his words all hit the roof of his mouth and came out in a mush. The sounds of words in his head were not being made. The corner of his vision was decreasing to just one big color, black, and the center of his sight was just a big blur. What happened here..? His right leg and hip hurt like a tank had rolled over it but its not what's hurting him the most.

"Fucking hurry! He's not listening to me, get the damn chopper to land already!"

Rogers fingers curled in painfully rigid over his chest, eyes wide and blown looking scared out of his mind. His mouth was open like a fish stuttering, but he was just sucking in short panicked breaths. There was this fire in his chest and eventually those rigid fingers were clawing at his own chest enough to tear through his own uniform and peel a few layers of his skin off.

"No Rogers, stop that.. stop fighting me! God dammit.." Pinning Rogers arms to his side was a mission on his own. I mean, the guy's like extremely strong so strong that it took the four of them to pin him down and stop him from running or hurting himself. His back started to arch and he shook like he was continuously being electrocuted. He kicked and thrashed, moaning and chocking from pain. The white star on his chest rose and fell so quick that they feared he was going to hyperventilate himself into unconsciousness and on top of everything else that was happening to him right now, especially the pain from his external injuries, unconsciousness did not sound to be the worst thing so some of them may have silently prayed for it. Whatever the hell got him like this would've killed them an hour ago. Fuck.. if they had just listened to him and stuck together. Just a few more seconds, they thought. Few more..

"nhhh-! AGH..AGHHHHH!" Finally he could make some noise but all that left the blonds throat was a blood curdling scream. "UnHH..AGHHHHHNNMM-" His scream turning into moans and chocked sobs. Those blue eyes glazed and blurry, frantically looking, lost, so hurt and confused. One of the four holding his down couldn't take it anymore and turned their head. The other thought to himself, imagine being in his position and you think you can't take it anymore?

There isn't anything he would not do right now just to get a crumb of oxygen, just a little bit. The darkness around the corner of his eyes started to close in front and center, Steve couldn't stop shaking or screaming until the taste of metallic filled his throat then more, blood, his mouth felt full of it and then he was drowning. Eyes fluttering just as they rolled up into his skull and his shacking subsided just a little bit and the noise of gargled clicking filled everyone's ears. "Turn him, quickly!"

Steve's legs slowed their kicking and then finally stopped. Someone had carefully held his head, bloody soft blond hair sticking to his hands, while they turned his body and put him in a recovery position for the few more seconds before people from the chopper were all over his still body. Blood, thick and bright, poured from the corner of his lips, some streaking down his cheeks to the back of his jaw where it continued to drip like a leaky faucet. His nose had joined the game of leaking itself of only the brightest red against his almost titanium while skin. Steve's mouth was slack, lips bright and wet with color. They are always bright but this was like red lipstick of death.

The chopper eventually lifted and the crew stood and sat, tired, drained, some even too scared to move. Scared of how he looked, how he screamed for mercy. Minutes passed, no one moved. Just breathing, taking it all in. "He looked like a ghost.." Barton finally said.

"He's going to be one if the doctors don't figure out what the hell is making him turn inside out." Tony snapped back. He didn't mean there to be heat behind his words, but he was terrified. Terrified for Steve. Rogers was the strong one of them, he never sat down for too long, he never took breaks. He never ate before his team did or settled before his team did. He's just.. That's just Steve Rogers. Nothing stops Steve from doing good and obviously being a mother hen until the one time he's not here to do it it makes him realize how much they need to return the favor. Take care of their Captain too. Listen to him, really listen. "I've never seen h-him like that.." he added, stuttering without even noticing it.

"Well, we've never fought bio chemical monsters ever before so there is that.." Natasha was going to continue to stay quiet. She still couldn't get Steve's painful cry out of her head. It replayed over and over and over. All that blood that came out of him so quick, his lips were brighter than her lipsticks. She would kill to hear him laugh right now or even be confused about something simple like a touchscreen coffee machine. "We need to go.. you need to go." He motioned towards Tony.

"Make sure they know how to deal with a super soldier.." Tony said half heartedly. He felt lost for a moment without their Captain's orders, they all felt out of place and lost. Like they were pieces to the puzzle that was torn away from their hands. Where do they fit now? Each one of them is more than capable of leading but Rogers did such a good job so they relied on him a lot, for every mission, and this is the first time they'd be leaving the field without one of their own. "I can take Baron with me.. for security. In case.." He didn't have the heart to finish his sentence.

In case what? In case they forgot a bad guy and it came to take Rogers out in his sleep? That's if Rogers even made it.. God, Tony.. don't say that. He told himself. "Leave him. Your suit's damaged, just take yourself." Natasha ordered as she finally got up and picked Stark's helmet off the ground and pushed it into his hands. Any other day he would have come back with something like calling her bossy, but today he thanked god someone was able to talk because he couldn't talk or get his knees to stop shaking inside his suit. Thank crap no one can see him or they'll know exactly how frightened he is.

Barton looked over to Thor who gave a slow nod, he looked so heartbroken and worn. Barton walked over to him as he spoke to his best friend. "You got Bruce?" She nodded, "I got Bruce." She confirmed as somewhere in the distance Hulk's roar could be heard as he smashed his way through anger. He left the second his eyes fell on his good friend on the ground gasping for air. "They'll need him." Barton said before he glanced up to Thor again who wrapped an arm protectively around the spy's midsection and up they went.

Poor Thor couldn't even open his mouth. His battle brother was immensely hurt and he prayed to Valhalla to not take him yet. It isn't him time. He is a worrier of this planet with still so much to do, have a loved one, have kids, live to see his grandkids all while defending the earth from its evil.

"I should go.." Tony spoke lightly, his eyes bloodshot, but he made no move to get ready for it.

"He'll make it." She sounded so sure, Tony looked so hopefully at her.

"You promise?"

"Yea."
