Heinz was sitting in the coffee shop staring at the clock mounted to the wall, his coffee at his elbow.
Some patrons gave him a wide berth, others… offered strange glances in his direction.
The door opened and a small animal followed someone in. The teal beast scampered between table and chair legs until he reached his destination. Perry leapt onto Doof's lap and slipped his fedora on.
"Ah, Perry-" Heinz started when he noticed Perry shake his head, violently. Dr. D. then lowered his voice to a whisper. "Perry the Platypus, I'm glad you could make it."
