Ferb & Gretchen

AN: My prompt was 'surprise', however I think it's more 'shock'.
Sixteen-year-old Ferb was sitting in the coffee shop, his head in his hands. He glanced up when he noted the sweet scent of almonds. He then smiled at Gretchen. "Ferb, what's the matter?" She asked him.
Ferb sighed and shook his head. Gretchen took a seat and moved closer to him. "Tell me, maybe I can help." She suggested.
Ferb fidgeted, and produced a simple white #9 envelope from his bag. Gretchen looked at the return address. "England?" She whispered and he nodded. Gretchen read the enclosed letter. "You've been accepted to school in England?"
