One Exciting Reunion
"Good morning" Chloe whispered in a sing-songy voice as she slowly made a trail of kisses from Beca's shoulder and up her neck. She felt the small brunette start to move and stretch as she woke up.
"Remind me again why we decided to have all the Bella's over so early for a reunion/house warming party?" Beca mumbled as she turned and buried her head into Chloe's chest.
"One, it's not early they will be here at 2, but we need to get ready. Two, they have all been dying to see our, well technically your, new house that you got after signing with DJ Khalid. And three, it's been a year since we've seen all of them and it seems like forever."
"Fine" Beca groaned sitting up. "And just so you know, this is our house" Beca leaned down and gave Chloe a soft and long kiss. "Plus I think the Bella's will figure out that you're living here just by the decorations and all of the pictures of the two of us that you insisted on hanging everywhere." Beca teased.
"They aren't everywhere, and you told me you liked how I decorated." Chloe said with a pout.
"I do like it. I'm just saying that the Bella's will know that I wasn't the one to do the decorating, which is a good thing because I suck at decorating." Beca gave Chloe another kiss.
"I guess you're right. We should probably get ready and pick up the house" Chloe started to slide out of bed. "You know, since we are living in LA now, we should probably try to help save water by showering together..." Chloe said with a mischievous grin on her face.
"I think that is a very smart idea Chloe. Gotta help save the environment or whatever." Beca said as she quickly got up and followed the red head to their bathroom.
After a long hot shower, the two girls got ready and quickly cleaned up the house and got some snacks ready. They could hardly wait to see all of their friends again. They had seen Aubrey and Stacie a few times since the USO tour since they were planning on moving to LA in a few months, but they haven't seen anyone else. They had somehow managed to keep the fact that they were finally dating a secret as well. They don't really know why they hadn't told any of the Bellas. In fact they were surprised that they have managed to keep it a secret for a year now.
The two girls got together right after Beca's solo performance. Chloe kissed Chicago backstage and Beca realized that she needed to do something, so that night in their hotel room Beca confessed her feelings for the older girl and they ended up getting together that night. Chloe ended up getting into vet school that was in LA and Beca had to move for work, so they ended up deciding to continue to live together, plus Beca got a really sweet house as part of her contract with the record label. Both girls had never been happier, which is why they decided that they should probably tell the Bella's in person while they are all here for their visit.
Suddenly the doorbell rang and Chloe and Beca rushed to answer the door. Sure enough all of the Bella's were standing there. They all rushed in and they all hugged each other. The girls all congratulated Beca on her new music and the amazing house she was living in. They slowly all made it into the living room and took seats around. They all chatted for a while catching up on what everyone has been doing since the tour when the conversation got back to Beca.
"Beca this house is dope" CR started, Beca thanked her. "Also your new song is a banger, but I have to say I'm a bit curious about it." Beca quirked an eyebrow looking puzzled. "I'm curious because I get some serious gay vibes from it." Beca started to blush.
Beca knew that there had been a lot of speculation about this when the song first came out. She hadn't publicly commented on her relationship or her sexuality, so everyone was questioning it. Which makes sense because she wrote the song about Chloe. She just didn't think about the fact that she never came out to the Bella's and she didn't think that they would pick up on that from the song.
"We don't want to make you uncomfortable Beca, but we all kinda got that vibe from the song, but didn't want to ask you about it until we saw you in person." Stacie quickly added sensing how nervous Beca had gotten.
"It's honestly fine guys." Beca began "I've known this for awhile, and I'm not really sure why I haven't said anything to you guys, especially since you're like my family. You're not wrong about the song" Beca could feel her face getting redder by the second. "You're supposed to get gay vibes from the song, becuase I wrote the song about a girl, becuase… I'm gay." Beca finished. All of the Bella's quickly got up and hugged the small girl.
"Alright, now that all of that is over give us a proper tour huh Shawshank" Fat Amy shouted.
Beca showed them around the house and saved the master bedroom for last. When they got to the bedroom Beca opened the door and announced "Alright so this is ou- my bedroom." Beca cringed knowing that the Bella's would pick up on the slip and quickly looked next to her at Chloe to see her reaction.
"What do you mean our bedroom?" Aubrey asked
"She means this is our bedroom" Chloe states while grabbing Beca's hand with one of hers and gesturing between the two of them with the other as Beca just stood there awkwardly.
"But this house is so big" Emily began clearly sounding really confused "Why would you both share this room in this huge house… unless… OH MY STARS! Are you two finally dating?" Emily shrieked finally realizing. Chloe excitedly nodded her head so fast it looked like it was about to fall off.
All of the Bella's freaked out and started hugging them and congratulating them. There was talk about some sort of bet, but both of the girls were too happy to even care. There were a lot of questions from all the girls. They were a little hurt that they kept it from all of them, but they were also impressed that they managed to hide it as long and as well as they did. After all of the excitement, they all had dinner, then they all decided to go to bed. Because the house is so big all of the Bella's got to stay there instead of at a hotel.
Beca and Chloe made their way back to their bedroom after making sure the rest of the girls were situated. They got to their room and closed the door. Chloe went into the closet to grab her pajamas. Beca went over to her dresser and opened the top drawer pulling out a small black box.
"I'm so glad that they finally know about us" Chloe said as she emerged from the closet walking toward Beca. "I thought that they were going to explo-'' Chloe stopped talking suddenly and gasped as Beca turned around, slowly getting on one knee, holding the small black box, now open revealing a beautiful diamond ring.
"Chloe I know it feels like our relationship has moved really fast, because it sort of has, but it also hasn't. Since we've been together I've been the happiest I've ever been my entire life. When you kissed me and told me that you loved me back that night in the hotel room, I was happier than when I signed my record deal. You make me a better person and a better artist and I love literally everything about you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Telling our friends tonight made me not want to wait another minute to start the rest of our life together. Chloe Beale, will you continue to make me the happiest woman ever and marry me?" There were tears threatening to leave Beca's eyes as she finished speaking.
Chloe was in shock. She was crying. She couldn't speak, so she found herself frantically nodding her head like earlier. Beca stood up and grabbed Chloe pulling her in for a long and passionate kiss. They slowly broke apart and Beca grabbed the ring sliding it onto Chloe's finger.
"The record label wants me to address the questions around my song in an interview tomorrow. Is it ok if I tell them it's about my gorgeous fiancé?" Beca questioned with a huge smile on her face.
Chloe replied with a similar smile "Of course, but first you need to tell the Bella's about this." Beca started to turn around and head to the door. "Not now Becs!" Chloe grabbed Beca's hand and started to lead her towards the bed "Tell them tomorrow, because right now I need my beautiful fiancé to take me to our bed and show me how much you love me." Both girls quickly started to undress and jumped into bed, not worrying if their house guests would hear them.
