Lip Sync Battle
Today was the day. The day that Beca and Chloe were planning on coming out as a couple to the world. After Beca was chosen by DJ Kahlid and performed solo she went backstage and found Chloe kissing Chicago. At first Beca wasn't going to do anything about it, but as she watched the girl she loves kiss someone else something in her snapped. So she did what any totally sane person would do and went up to Chloe, pulled her from the arms of the enemy and kissed her like her life depended on it. Turns out Chloe totally felt the same way and they have been together ever since. Now flash forward 3 years and the world still doesn't know that they are together. Why would the world want to know, or care? Well in the 3 years since, Beca has become extremely famous and has even won a few Grammys. Chloe, after deciding to give up on going to vet school and moving with Beca to LA, is now an extremely popular actress who is currently in the talks of playing Ariel in a live action Little Mermaid. Of course all of their family and friends know that they are dating and they are extremely supportive and excited. Their families were also thrilled by the news of them dating. They just never confirmed that they are in fact a couple to the world. They haven't gone out of their way to hide it, but they haven't made it obvious that they were a couple. At first it was because they wanted to keep it to themselves since it was so new. Then it was because they wanted to tell their friends and family in private first. They were planning on telling the world at the Grammy's almost 2 years ago, but then they decided not to because really it's nobody's business. They loved all of the speculation in the comments of their instagram posts and trying to dodge the question at red carpets, so in a way it turned into a little game. Now however, Beca came up with a really funny way to announce their relationship on Lip Sync Battle. They were contacted a few months ago by the show asking if they would want to do an episode together since they were "such good friends" and they thought it would "make great TV". Well they decided that they would in fact make it great TV for them.
When they got to the studio they were separated so that they could get ready for the show. They have spent the last couple days preparing for their performances and filmed their little clips that they play in the show. They threw around a little trash talk and acted like they were out for blood. Soon a producer came and got each girl from their dressing rooms and brought them to wait backstage. They were told to wait for their name to be called then they will walk on stage.
"Are you ready for this?" Chloe asks Beca as she grabs one of her hands and gives it a squeeze.
"I'm a little nervous, but I'm excited to not be hiding anything anymore." Beca replies. Suddenly they hear some loud cheers as LL Cool J goes out on stage, then even more screaming as Chrissy Teigen is announced. Then everything is quiet. They are finally able to hear what is being said on stage.
"Alright guys, tonight we have a really special treat for you. Tonight we are pitting 2 best friends against each other. They have been friends for years and they are both very successful. Tonight however only one of them can take home the title. Will they remain friends after this epic battle? Let's find out and get started. First up we have a 3 time Grammy winning artist, Beca Mitchell!" The crowd starts cheering again as Beca walks on stage and waves. "Are you excited Beca?"
"I'm excited to win!" Beca replies causing the audience to cheer again.
"Alright, confident I like it! Let's announce who you will be competing against tonight. Our next guest is academy award nominated actress Chloe Beale!" The crowd erupts into cheers as Chloe makes her way on stage to stand next to Beca. "Chloe, Beca seems very confident that she will be winning tonight. Do you have anything you want to say to that?"
"Well Beca has always been very confident in winning any competition that we've ever been in, however she's never actually beat me so…" There are a lot of "Ooooohhhhs" and laughter from the audience at this.
"Damn. You girls really came here to fight tonight! Now Chloe, you are going first tonight, correct?" Chloe nods her head. "Alright now what are you going to be performing for us tonight?"
"I'm going to be performing a song by some guys I was obsessed with as a kid." Chloe says as she puts a headset on her head. "I think Beca will be ready to say Bye, Bye, Bye to her chances of winning after this performance."
"Alright performing some NSYNC for us is Chloe Beale" LL Cool J yells over the crowd.
The opening lines of the song start to play and Chloe immediately gets into character. She dances like a puppet like NSYNC does in the video and nails her lip sync. The crowd really seems to like her performance and she is a little out of breath when she's done.
"Chloe that was amazing" LL Cool J says when she's finished and the crowd dies down.
"Why thank you!" Chloe is all smiles "Good luck topping that." Chloe says giving Beca a quick wink off camera.
"Oh I don't need luck." Beca says acting cocky as she walks towards the middle of the stage.
"Alright, now Beca, I've been told that you've prepared something special?"
"That is right. This song is from my heart and I'm excited to finally share it with the world."
"So this is something that you have never shared with the world? They are getting a sneak peek into the depths of your heart?"
"Into the old ticker, yeah."
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen, going in one direction, straight to the top, here is… Beca Mitchell." As LL Cool J leaves to go sit on the side of the stage Beca grabs a mic stand. She gets into position as the opening bars of Steal My Girl start to play.
She be my queen
Since we were sixteen
We want the same things
We dream the same dreams
Alright, alright
Beca is feeling the song and makes sure to play up the cocky act making eye contact with the camera and popping the collar on her leather jacket.
I got it all
'Cause she is the one
Her mum calls me love
Her dad calls me son
Alright, alright
Beca walks away from the mic for a minute to try and hide her smile. She needs to keep up the act. Chloe is trying her hardest not to show how happy and excited she is for what is about to come. She is also trying hard not to show how attractive Beca looks right now. Beca rushes back up to the microphone before the next line. She grabs the mic off of the stand.
Kisses like cream
Her walk is so mean
And every jaw drop
When she's in those jeans
Alright, alright
Beca is managing to pull off the cocky/player vibe and drops to the ground to really engage the audience. Chloe knows she is blushing and is starting to feel really turned on by Beca right now. She is hoping that the stage lights hide her reaction to this.

Beca gets up off the ground and slowly starts to make her way towards the back part of the stage. Everyone is feeling the song. Everyone, including Chrissy Tiegen is dancing. Before the next section of lyrics Beca is standing next to a big TV.
Everybody wanna steal my girl
As Beca sings that line a slideshow of pictures of Chloe start to play. She points at Chloe as she sings the next couple lines. Everyone is laughing, not realizing Beca is serious.
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Couple billion in the whole wide world
Beca reaches up to start unzipping her jacket to expose the custom shirt she is wearing.
Find another one 'cause she belongs to me
The jacket is fully unzipped now and she flings it open to expose her shirt.
Everybody wanna steal my girl
The shirt is now exposed to the audience. There in the middle of a heart on her shirt is a photo of Chloe and Beca kissing. The audience erupts into cheers after realizing what the shirt means.
Everybody wanna take her heart away
Beca points to Chloe and gestures for her to make her way to the stage with her. Chloe is so excited and nervous that she is almost shaking as she walks to meet Beca in the center of the stage.
Couple billion in the whole wide world

As soon as Beca mouths the last word she pulls Chloe into a kiss making the audience scream even louder. They break apart and smile as they turn to look at the shocked host making his way over to them.
"Oh my God!" Chrissy Teigen shouts into her mic and is fanning herself off "Am I still alive or did that just kill me?" The crowd laughs at this. "No really what did I just watch?!" Beca and Chloe are laughing. Beca has her arm wrapped around Chloe's shoulders and Chloe has her arms wrapped around Beca's waist.
"Ladies, is there something you want to officially tell us?" LL Cool J asks, finally overcoming his initial shock.
"Well…" Chloe starts and looks at Beca. "We're dating!" Chloe announces. More screaming from the crowd.
"Ok now the question I know everyone, including myself, is wondering…. How long?" Chrissy asks.
"Uhhh 3 years…" Beca awkwardly answers.
"Ok how did you manage to hide this for 3 years from the public?" LL Cool J asks.
"I mean if you look back at our social media and interviews we didn't really hide it. We just never confirmed it." Beca chuckles "If you read through the comments of our posts people were constantly asking if we were dating and talking about how much they shipped us."
"Well I hate to end things here, but unfortunately we need to go to a commercial. After that though, we will be back with Beca and Chloe and who knows maybe another surprise.."
