16-year-old Adyson stood in line waiting to place her order. The people ahead of her couldn't seem to make up their minds.

Ten minutes later, Adyson made it to the front of the line. Finally! She thought to herself as she collected herself and politely smiled at the poor barista who tried their best to help. "I'd like a…" Her eyes went wide as she rummaged through her pockets for the paper with everyone's order. "Just a moment. It's here somewhere. Just help the next person, I'm ordering for five people." She stepped aside to let the next person place their order.

"Is this what you're looking for?" Gretchen's soft voice sliced through Adyson's thoughts. The taller girl looked up and noticed the yellow slip of paper in the other girl's outstretched hand.

Adyson, struck dumb, nodded. "Thanks." Gretchen smiled her response and stood beside Adyson in line to place the order before taking everything to the table.

Gretchen inhaled the aroma of her coffee and sighed.

"What do we do now?" Katie asked as she took a seat between Holly and Milly. Adyson looked to Gretchen. "You're the second."

Gretchen nodded. "I'm aware. Thought his caught me completely off guard."

Milly snickered and Holly laughed. Katie grinned. "That's possible?"

Adyson glanced at the assembled troop. "Ginger's away for the next two months and Isabella's stepped down."

Gretchen collected her thoughts. "If you'll bear with me, I didn't have any of Isabella's notes. With everyone's assistance, I should be able to stumble though."
