Picks up right where the last chapter was left off at. I really didn't have a good stopping point but when I realized that the chapter was about 5,000 words I had to split it somewhere. More use of the KND future kids and some filler chapters before the plot really kicks off. As usual please review, it helps me publish and write a lot faster knowing that someone is enjoying this story besides me!

Happy reading!

To Nigel's chagrin, the blond boy was just standing there, looking at his nails and then around the room.

"Why aren't you trembling in fe-"

To Sector V, Sector W, and Rachel's shock, they heard something collide with the back of Father's head. His body froze, went slack, and then crumbled at their feet. Terrence had stood up and straightened his brown jacket. Tommy stood up, took off his goggles, and wiped the camera lens. Or… Hoagie gasped. Tommy was able to build a camera into his goggles! He could see everything he saw, except when he was close to the time machine. The machine was recording it.

Behind Father was a teenage girl dressed in a pair of jeans and a gray shirt with long colorful sleeves pushed up to her elbows. Her brown hair was loose and slightly singed at the ends. The girl cleaned her glasses from fogging over and put them back on. A skillet at her feet with a hole in the middle of it.

"Seriously?! I go grocery shopping for mum for an hour and you two are already at it? Cut the guy some slack, he's our great uncle. His dad just died and grandpa thought we could help him," the girl scolded them. Her voice also had that English accent that her brother had.

"Oh, cry me a river, he could only use that excuse for so long. He's the one that won't share the remote."

"I knew this would be over the remote," said Dakota, entering the room.

"Don't unlock the covers over the doors and windows until he's stabilized," said Hunter, going over to take care of Father. The girl that had been shouting pulled the black silhouette suit right off Father.

Nigel froze up. He had only ever seen one person do that, and that was his dad. Something in his mind clicked, and he remained tense.

"Wait, great uncle?" said Rachel, her head spinning. "Does Father have a brother or sister?"

Everyone turned to look at Nigel now, his eyes wide and ears burning bright red. It was common knowledge that the incident (that they won't talk about) was when he discovered that Nigel's uncle was Father. That meant that the kids were his. Or at least, that boy and that girl were his children? He put a hand on his head, trying to take in just what was said. Grandfather, the Grandfather, the one that took over the world once, had died. Gulping, Nigel saw that everyone else was watching him.

"...Oh," said Kuki.

"You've got to be kidding me, that's not my son! This has to be fake," Nigel said, though he knew that this was true. They had spent the last ten minutes or so watch proof of it. Kuki hadn't properly broken-down Margie's time machine. That was Tommy with his cellphone in his hand.

"How? We've looked everywhere for Tommy, and this is the only hint we have. That's Tommy that picked up his phone," said Abby.

"Plus he kind of looks like you, minus the blond hair and a few features," said Wally.

"Okay fine, even if he is my kid, all I'm doing is watching him," said Nigel, facepalming. "Oh boy, if that's my son, then that teenager is my daughter."

"Maybe that's for the best that we're just watching. You gotta admit that she's is pretty cool, she did knock father out with just a frying pan," said Rachel.

"My hair, she has my hair. If these are my kids, whose are the others? Why are they with Father? And where am I?"

Nigel began to pace around the room. This made way more sense than Shirley ever did. That was just a simulation, a test of some kind, he was sure of it. So many little things didn't add up when he thought about it and remembered what he learned in school.

"Well, the girl did say that Grandfather died, maybe the older you is helping your dad sort out the will," said Kuki as she bounced on her feet. Everyone looked at her a bit surprised that she was probably right. "I think those other kids have to be ours. I bet Terrence is my kid he looks like he's fun and brave!"

Wally's face dropped a little, looking at Terrence. He looked Asian, really Asian, as disappointment gnawed at him. What if she had married some Japanese kid and completely forgot about him?

"Nah, he's more Chinese looking," said Lee. "I think he's mine."

With that, Lee pulled off his hat, revealing his own black hair and Chinese features. Kuki looked back and forth from Terrence to Lee before nodding.

"Yeah, I can see it, but I'm still not sure. Ohh, maybe Adi is mine, and she's sector leader! Or she's yours. That's awesome if my daughter is a leader. And that kid fixing up Father must be yours, Numbuh 5, he has your darker skin. The redhead could be yours, Hoagie, since you have reddish hair. Then Dakota could be Harvey's, or even Wal-"

Kuki was pulled from her train of thought by Nigel.

"Numbuh 3, calm down. They could be anyone's kids. We need solid proof. I just can't believe Tommy made a time machine." He watched his own son pointedly ignore Father and instead focused on his sister.

"He didn't take me," said Hoagie and Rachel at the same time envious. The two shared a look with each other as Rachel flushed. It wasn't exactly known that Rachel was a fan of the Doctor Time Space series.

"Ohh, I wonder who your wife is, Numbuh 1? I mean, Lizzie did dump you cold."

On the screen, Adi was making a phone call. Harvey had begun to tease Nigel about Lizzie dumping him, with Nigel itching to argue back, if only Rachel wasn't there. Speaking of which, Rachel and Hoagie were enamored with the screen, trying to make sense of things. Kuki and Lee were talking about whose kid was whose anyway. Sonia and Wally were silently listening to them.

"Everyone, will you be quiet?!" Abby shouted at them. "If you listen, you might get the answers to some of your questions. Hoags, why don't you try calling Tommy again? I think we have enough info about those kids."

Rachel just found herself getting excited. She remembered the plot about the phone in a Doctor Time Space episode. She thought it might be impossible to replicate, though. Hoagie pulled out his cellphone and called him again.

On the screen, the cellphone went off again as everyone else stopped around him. "Um, Tommy," said the blond boy that was Nigel's son. "Nice ringtone and everything, but how is that working?"

"When I landed in 2037 and helped you guys out, the scientists helped me rig it up to where I can pick up calls anywhere. Even in the stone age. Anyway, that's Hoagie, I better pick this up before I get in trouble."

"Oh, well, I'll hold off on my surprise then," said Numbuh 1's son as Kuki reached for Hoagie's phone and grabbed it from him.

"Numbuh 3!" moaned Hoagie as Tommy just shrugged on the screen.

"I wanna know what the surprise is first. That way he can bring us back some."

Nigel just groaned. He needed answers, and it was driving him crazy to watch and not be able to act. At least they got an answer on how the phone was working. His son led them down to what would have been Father's inner sanctum. It was currently filled with what could only be classified as junk and possibly some garbage.

"Grandpa wants to help him move into a smaller place. We're helping him get rid of all his stuff. Go wild."

A gasp of shock escaped from Hoagie's mouth and eyes wide. Take anything from that area? They could have so much stuff! Any of Father's machines that could have been sitting there for decades in the time that passed by. Tommy was in 2037, for crying out loud!

"Wait, as in, take anything?!" said Adi.

"It all has to go," said Nigel's son, who had yet to be named.

"Seriously?"

"Go wild. You can call my mum, just don't take any family photos or anything personal. Can't imagine how that would be any use for you anyway."

"Really?!"

"Listen, if you don't want to, I can call the scientists…"

"No! We'll take as much as we can fit. Numbuh 1 and Numbuh 362 are the best parents right now."

"I knew there had to be a perk of staying here rather than grandma's. You know, besides going through uncle Harvey's old stuff."

"Charlie, you shouldn't be going through his old things," said Adi with a scolding tone.

"When he's nice to mum about moving for college and staying, then I'll stop."

With that, the kids broke apart, looking for anything of interest.

Everyone in the present turned to look at Nigel and Rachel for a reaction. Firmly rooted in his spot, Nigel stared at the screen and then at Rachel. What?! He was married to Rachel twenty or thirty years from now?! His kid looked like her, he could see that was more than just passing resemblance. A slight blush rose to his cheeks and he felt his vision started to become hazy. He was married to his supreme leader. Yeah, he liked her and everything, but still.

Rachel tried to hide her own reaction just as well as Nigel. Her red ears from a flush hiding behind dark blond hair. Her own secret crush on Nigel had become way more than just a crush. Getting married and having two kids was more than enough for her.

"What did he say?!" she said first.

"What?!" said a shocked Nigel.

"NOOOO!" shrieked Harvey. A bit enraged, Harvey rounded to Nigel fury written all over his face. "You married my sister?"

Nigel felt his glasses slip down his nose. "I married Numbuh 362."

"My son's name is Charlie," said Rachel, oblivious to how her brother had reacted.

Everyone turned to look at her with an expression that just said, "what the fuck?" Why wasn't she freaking out? Rachel had become rather in tune with her emotions regarding Nigel and was more than just excited to figure out she was married to him.

"What? I'm okay with it. Our daughter knocked out Father with a frying pan in full rage mode, that's awesome."

Harvey rounded on his sister; this time even more furious.

"You can't be okay with this, I won't let you."

"Excuse me? You can't tell me who I can and can't be with, Harvey."

"You're supreme leader!"

"Not forever! And besides, if I'm happy, then I'm okay with it. Nigel, are you alright?"

She turned her attention to Nigel, who was still staring at the screen. When he turned to her, his mouth was hanging wide open, glasses hanging off his face, and eyes wide. It was quiet between all of them, until…

"I get married to Rachel, and we have two kids!?"

"What's wrong with being married to me?" Rachel felt a little insulted and upset. A tiny part of her hoped that he admitted to liking her, too.

Nigel snapped his attention to her and held a hand up defensively. He could see her hurt look on her face and his tone changed. "Nothing, I'm just really surprised is all. I guess that's why Charlie has blond hair. I'm okay with it, really."

My gosh, it was better than being married to Lizzie from that one crazy dream. Then again, maybe she wouldn't be that bad. But then again, Nigel was married to Rachel and it seemed right. Like this was supposed to happen. After all, this was the future.

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Are you just saying that?"

"Yes… wait, I'm seriously okay with it. We have two happy and healthy kids, even if one is a teenager. Are you sure you don't mind being related to Father?"

Rachel paused, and could only think that this was fun to banter with him. Nobody at moonbase dared to go against what she said. She hid her smile as best as she could and looked at the screen. The kids had separated, with Tommy and Hunter looking around at stuff. "I mean, you win some you lose some. My father-in-law is Numbuh 0, that's worth it. Are you okay with being related to that?"

She pointed to Harvey, who was for some reason hyperventilating on the floor. Nigel looked at him and thought he was more annoying than evil.

Finally, he turned his attention to another issue. "What about grandfather?"

"They just said that he was dead, I don't see the problem."

Around them everyone went from amused to a little annoyed as their little argument, or whatever you would call it, distracted them from the camera.

"Yeah, glad to see that you're okay with it. Now be quiet so we can hear what happened to the rest of us," said Hoagie.

"Yeah, I'm a little worried," said Wally, glancing at Kuki. Kuki looked over and met his gaze with a bright smile.

"About what Numbuh 4?" she asked, secretly hoping that he wanted to be married to her.

"Well... if my kid is cool or not. That's what I'm worried about. If my kid is cool or not."

Frustrated, Kuki watched the screen, keeping an eye out for Adi and Terrence. She wanted to see if she was really her daughter or son.

Tommy, who had been watching them, had turned back to his time machine. He had to be able to fit stuff inside of it. To Rachel's surprise, she saw that it looked like an old-fashioned British telephone box. You couldn't see inside of it; the windows were frosted over. It reminded her of the TARDIS. The fact that she married Nigel and had two kids with him didn't quite sink in yet.

Hoagie could only watch as he messed with some buttons. Until finally, he couldn't take it anymore and reached for the console.

"Hoagie, what are you doin'?" asked Abby.

"I'm just seeing if I can zoom in or anything." He played with the buttons and Tommy did too. Nervously, Kuki watched them, though she was still curious to know what was going on with the kids. There was a flicker from the machine on the other end of the camera. Not sure what he touched or what Tommy touched; their vision started to go fuzzy.

And then they blinked.
