Here's another chapter! I hope you like it. Sorry I haven't updated in awhile, life gets busy sometimes :/ I also had writer's block :P

Will POV
"Get up!" Will whacks Nico with a pillow.
"Hey! Ow!" Nico grabs a pillow and hits Will back.
"Oh good you're up." Will deadpans.
"Hey! I was going to get up anyway. You just made me mad at you." Nico smirked while pulling a shirt on. Will turned red. Nico noticed.
"You can't handle seeing me without my shirt on, Solace?" Will turned more red and closed his eyes, not looking at Nico.
"Hey Sunshine, I'm done getting dressed. You can open your eyes now." Nico lightly punched Will's shoulder.
"Ow, hey!" Will followed Nico down to the dining pavilion.
"What have you two been doing?" Piper started walking with them, smiling very big.
"Nothing." Will and Nico said, turning red.
"Ah." Piper smirked, "Nico seems very chipper today. Does Will have anything to do with it?"
"Knock it off Piper." Nico suddenly growled. Piper frowned and left them to sit at the Aphrodite table.
"Nico? You ok?"
"Yeah. She just kinda got on my nerves. Don't dwell on it." Nico smiled and went to sit at his table. Will sat with his siblings, thinking about the feelings he felt when Nico had gotten dressed. He liked Nico a lot but he didn't know what to do with his feelings.
"Cecil." Will tapped his brother's shoulder.
"Yeah?" Cecil was stuffing bacon in his mouth.
"So… hypothetically, if I liked someone, how do I tell them?" Will asked while serving himself oatmeal.
"Just tell them when you're alone." Cecil continued eating.
"Wait. Who's the lucky guy?" Cecil stopped eating and turned to face Will.
"None of your business." Will smirked.
"Ah come on!" Cecil elbowed Will.
"Nico." Will muttered, blushing.
"Ooo he's lucky. You'd be perfect for each other!" Cecil then turned his short attention span to his sister who was complaining about the cheap syringe shipment they got.
Will got up and walked to Piper.
"Can I talk to you?" Will whispered in her ear.
"Yeah." Piper got up and followed Will out of earshot of the dining campers.
"What's up?"
"I like Nico." Will blushed.
"I knew it! What do you need me for though?"
"How- how do I tell him?" Will shuffled his feet.
"Watch a movie. Tell him when you finish."
"Ok. Thanks Piper!" Will smiled and went back to eating breakfast. His heart was excited and nervous.
"Hey Nico!" Will walked into the arena. Nico was dueling a student from the Hephaestus cabin. As soon as they finished Nico walked over to Will.
"Hey, what's up?" Nico sheathed his black Stygian iron sword and sat down on one of the benches.
"Do you want to watch a movie tonight?" Butterflies hatched in Will's stomach.
"Sure. My place?" Nico smiled.
"Yeah. As if all my siblings would leave our cabin for two hours at night." Will chuckled. Nico grinned and unsheathed his sword, "Want to duel?"
"So I got a bunch of pillows and made popcorn." Nico showed Will his work.
"Awesome!" Will and Nico settled into the pillows and started the movie.
"Will?" Nico said as the movie played.
"Yeah?"
"Can I shadow travel to visit Hazel tomorrow?" Nico looked at Will.
"No." Will met Nico's gaze. "It's not a good idea."
"Come on. I'll rest when I get to camp Jupiter." Nico had big puppy dog eyes.
"I'm not letting you fade again, Neeks."
"Don't use that name Solace." Nico growled, all friendliness gone.
"Sorry. But seriously, I can't see you fade. Please use the camp cars." Will pleaded. Nico had a look in his eyes that Will hadn't seen since Nico lost Bianca.
"Why do you care? I'm just another problem for you to fix!" Nico shouted.
"Because I like you Nico! You're not a problem!" Will shouted back, surprised by Nico's sudden change in tone.
"Will… I don't want to hurt you."
"You're not going to hurt me, Nico. Ever." Will reached out to touch Nico's knee but he ran out of the cabin, tears in his face.
Will searched everywhere. He walked through the forest for hours calling Nico's name but the son of Hades was nowhere to be found. Will went to his cabin and laid on his bed, facing the wall.
"Everything alright?" Lou Ellen came over to Will's bed and sat down.
"No. Go away." Will sighed.
Eventually Will fell asleep with a heavy heart and feelings hurt.
Nico POV
Nico was fast asleep under a tree deep in the forest. As the light shined on his face he rolled over and promptly got a mouthful of dirt.
"What the-?" Nico sat up and looked around, getting his bearings. The memories of the previous night made him put his head between his knees. He sobbed for hours until he had no more tears to give. He looked at the sun, high in the blue sky.
"Why me?! WHY ME?!" Nico shouted at the sky. He cursed and stood up, brushing the dirt off his clothes.
Nico heard a twig snap and drew his sword.
"Why do I have to fight right now?" He muttered as a deer walked by. Nico lowered his sword and kicked a rock before walking to the beach.
He looked over Long Island Sound until the sun went down.
Nico laid down on the sand and closed his eyes.
"Little Nico. All alone. So sad." Nico heard a voice mock him. He was in a tiny room and the lights were getting dimmer which normally didn't scare Nico but for some reason he couldn't see in this darkness.
"Shut up." Nico growled, determined not to show his fear.
"And now Hazel walks alone, knowing she has a failure for a brother."
"That's not true!" Nico's voice trembled slightly. He tried to draw his sword but found it wasn't there.
The dream shifted and Nico was in Tartarus. Nico stumbled and tasted blood. His pale face was the only one around until Nico came over a hill and saw a couple monsters talking.
"I smell demigod blood." One monster said, sniffing the sulfurous air.
"You've gone crazy. No demigod in his right mind would venture down here." The second monster slapped the first.
"Ow! I swear I smell one!" The monster stopped and turned to face the hill Nico was hiding behind. Nico tensed and prepared to run.
"Wait. I DO smell one. Faint but it's there alright." The second monster started walking towards Nico's hiding spot. Nico started running not watching where he was going.
Soon he was cornered by the monster duo.
"Master will be happy!" The monster grabbed Nico's hair and dragged him down the slope on the black glasslike shards.
Will POV
Will woke up and didn't think about the previous night until he was eating breakfast and Nico wasn't there. He slumped and stopped eating. Will stared at his plate blankly.
"You ok William?" One of his newer and younger siblings asked Will. He shook his head.
"Girl problems?" Will laughed hollowly. He remembered the girl's name was Annie.
"Nah. Much worse. Boy problems." Annie's eyes widened and she didn't say anything to Will the rest of breakfast.
When breakfast finally ended Will found himself walking to the infirmary even though he didn't feel like it. He got some bandages from the back storeroom and got started checking up on his patients.
"Will." Cecil put his hand on Will's shoulder.
"Yes?" Will continued rebandaging a sword gash, applying a cream and muttering a prayer to Apollo.
"You need a break. You're tired." Cecil pulled Will away from the patient gently. Cecil finished the bandaging and took Will outside.
"I'm fine Cecil. Really." Will put his strongest smile on. Cecil shook his head, obviously not falling for it.
"I'm taking your shift today, possibly tomorrow too. Go get some sleep. You look like a wreck." Cecil walked back to the infirmary leaving Will standing there.
Will went to his bunk in the Apollo cabin and flopped down.
What did I do that made Nico put his guard up?
Did I have a guard that I put up?
Was Nico scared of commitment? Or maybe he thought he would hurt me. I don't really know.
Will sighed and took out a sketchbook from under his bed. He sketched Nico from a couple days ago when Will cracked a joke after the campfire and Nico laughed. His dark hair was in front of his eyes and his smile was the biggest Will had seen in a long while. His black clothes blended into the darkness and the red on his cheeks stood out beautifully on his pale skin.
Will realized he had tears running down his face and onto the paper. He set his sketchbook down and buried his head in his pillow.
"Dude. You're gonna miss dinner." Percy was shaking Will.
"Ugh…" Will pulled his pillow over his head.
"Nope." Percy pulled the covers off Will.
"Hey!" Will got out of bed and whacked Percy with his pillow. Percy took that as a notion to exit the cabin.
Will waited a minute before going down to the dining pavilion. He sat down and couldn't bring himself to look at the table Nico would usually sit at. What is wrong with me? Nico will come back and it'll be fine. He just needs time to think. But what if he's not ok…?
Will looked at the empty Hades table before grabbing food and walking back to his cabin.
