Hello! I hope everyone is doing well! I must say this cause I'm so gosh darn happy about it: for mid term grades I made 3 B's and 1 A! I'm just so happy about that I had to announce! And I didn't even have to copy off the smart kid. Lol. J/K. Anyway enjoy the chapter!

Autobot Phoenix: Glad you think so!
Sam, Mikaela, and I have been running for what seems like forever in this forsaken heat towards the location of the soldiers and Autobots. Sam's keeping the remains of the Matrix in his sock and holding it like it's the Holy Grail. Although for the Cybertronians it could count as such.
We then come to a cliffside overlooking a ruin looking area where we see a flare shoot into the air which can only mean one thing...that's where N.E.S.T is at.
"There it is." Sam mutters. "We've got a couple of miles."
"Urg. More running." I mutter before following after them.
We manage to make it safely down the cliffside and are now running through some ruins. The artist in me is wanting me to stop and look around so I can draw or paint it later, but of course I have something to do at this moment. My lungs start to burn and I start to slow down.
Mikaela notices and grabs my hand so I'm running beside her. "Can't stop now Averie."
"Just wish we weren't...running. I hate...running. My lungs...don't like it. It's even harder...to do in...the desert." I wheeze out.
Mikaela starts to laugh but stops and says,"Don't make me laugh. It's hurts to laugh."
Suddenly fireballs shot over our heads which means the Cons must know where we're heading and are fighting with the Bots and soldiers. We spot Decepticons up ahead and run into an empty house and close the door.
"I don't think they saw us." Sam states. "You two get down .get down." He tells us.
Mikaela and I crouch down by the multicolored glass spot on the wall. Sam crouches in front of us and says,"Once it's clear we're gonna run to Optimus as fast as we can ok."
"And what if it doesn't work?" She asks.
"It's gonna work." Sam answers.
Mikaela sighs and says,"Yeah but what if-."
"It's gonna work. It'll work." Sam interrupts.
"Just have Faith Mikaela." I add.
We're getting up to leave when we hear a boom and feel a shake all of a sudden. We squat back down and stay real quiet when we hear Cons walking by. Mikaela's eyes start tearing up as she puts her hands to her mouth to keep any sound from escaping.
I place my arm around her shoulder and pull her to me in comfort. She hugs me back tightly.
You can hear then speaking right outside.
Sam takes an old sword and pokes it into the wall creating a hole, which he then peeps into.
We can hear more blasting and noises as they rummage through stuff and buildings. Suddenly Sam picks something out of the hole he made and pulls it out. It's a really tiny Con with what looks like a satellite on it's back.
Sam takes his forefinger and thumb and pulls it's head off its body, killing it instantly. It's silent for a moment until the roof is pulled off the building revealing Starscream.
He let's out a smirk at the sight of me and says,"Hello, Guardian." He then makes a grab for us but misses when we fall through the flimsy wall.
"Go go go go go!" Sam yells at us.
We run onto the top of a building to get away as the Cons smash pieces away behind us. When we get to the ledge Sam tells us,"Jump."
We back up a bit to get a running start and fling ourselves to the other building with a Con shooting behind us making a cloud of dust fill our vision. We land on the building but then fall off into the crevice of two buildings.
I help them get up and we are soon running again. We stop at a hold in the wall, with Sam swatting the chickens away, and see the ruins where the soldiers are at which isn't far off. "We've got a half a mile. I don't think the soldiers know we're here." He says.
We keep running through the town and Sam even manages a Dukes of Hazard move over a car. We don't even realize we're being watched. We run down a hill into another part of the town and see Sam's parents as well as my mom running towards us.
"Mom!" I yell and run towards her ignoring Sam's and Mikaela's shouts.
Suddenly a sound fills the air and a Con jumps down from the building in front of me, blocking my path to my mom. The con points it's weapon at my mom and Sam's parents.
"Wait wait!" Sam yells.
"You kids run!" Ron yells.
"Get out of here!" Mom adds.
"Dad just stop they don't want you! They want us!" Sam yells.
Sam and I walk up to the Con as Sam holds up his sock and says,"This is what you want. You don't want them."
I hear a whistle behind me and look and see Bee hiding behind the building ready to attack. I nudge Sam to get his attention to Bee. He turns and sees him and then turns back to the Con and says,"I know you need me, and Averie. Cause we know about the Matrix and she's apparently a Guardian."
Noticing the Cons attention on Sam I yell for Bumblebee. "Bumblebee!"
He jumps out of his hiding place and does a drop kick on the Con, making him fall to the ground. Bee lowers his face mask and the two engage in combat. We take the opportunity to get to our parents. I hug my mother close.
Bee starts getting attacked by the cat Con but Bee just pulls out its spine and uses it to hit the other Con with. Bee then breaks something on him and soon has him dead on the ground.
Bee lifts up his face mask and turns to us. Mr. Ron then goes crazy and frantically says,"I don't know what's going on but we gotta move!"
Suddenly a shot rings out, making us scramble for cover. We find some by an old car and Sam calls for Bee. "Bee! Bumblebee!" When Bee arrives he tells him,"Ypu get them somewhere safe!"
Sam then turns to his dad and says,"You gotta get in the car. You gotta go."
"No! Your my son alright?! Your my son! We all go together!" Ron argues frantically.
"Dad stop okay? Get in the car. He's gonna get you to safety. You run. You don't stop. You run. You hear what I'm saying? Okay? I'll find you when it's safe."
"No! " Ron yells.
"You gotta let me go dad. You have to let me go." Sam states.
Judy walks up to them and says,"Ron. Ron. Ron! Let him go."
Ron thinks on this and then says,"You come back!"
I bring their attention to me and I tell them,"Take my mom with you."
Mom immediately disagrees,"No! I'm not leaving my baby girl!"
I turn to her and say,"Mom. You have to. You can't stay."
"And neither can you!" She states.
"I have to. I have to help the Autobots. I have to bring Optimus back." I say.
"Why should you help them? You've done more than enough. You lost your leg because of them and now you want me to watch you risk your life? I won't do it. I won't loose my baby girl!" She rants.
"You won't loose me. I promise mama." I say.
"I'm not taking that risk." She says.
"Please mama. I have to do this. The Autobots have become my family. I can't lose them either. I have to help them. Please mama. Please." I plead for her to understand.
She ponders and with tears rolling down her face hugs me tightly. "This better not be the last time I see you. Don't make me say goodbye to you."
"You won't mama." I reply.
"I love you." She says.
"I love you too." I say. I then pull away and watch as she, along with Sam's parents get into Bee and drive away. A few tears fall down my face as I watch them leave.
Sam and Mikaela grab my arm as Sam says,"Averie. Let's go."
I nod my head and we go back to running. We finally make it to the area we need to be in. We even see Ironhide and the femmes up ahead. "There they are." Sam mutters in relief.
I then hear one of the femmes say,"Find Averie and Sam."
Ironhide then spots us and yells,"Averie! Sam!"
"Ironhide!" We yell in return.
Arcee, the purple femme skates up to us and says,"Follow us to the pillars. We'll take you to Optimus." Suddenly a shot rings out and hits Arcee right in the chasis. She screams in pain and falls to the ground.
I rush to her and kneel by her side to inspect her wound. It's hit her right in the spark... "Arcee? Arcee?" I ask worriedly.
I get no response. I look at here face and her optics are dull and lifeless. I put my hands to my mouth to keep a scream from escaping. I had become close to the femmes during their stay on Earth, and to see Arcee die in front of me...it's more than I can handle.
I hear an engine rev and see Elita-One charging at the Con who shot Arcee, but ends up getting shot as well and offlining soon after. I let out a gasp at that.
Thankfully Chromia takes cover behind a building.
"Averie! Sam! Get to the pillars!" Ironhide yells as he's getting shot at.
"Let's go!" Sam says. He grabs my arm from where I'm still sitting by Arcee and pulls me up making me run beside them. We manage to make our way to the pillars and right into the line of fire.
Shots are shooting out all around us and we're having to bob and weave to avoid getting hit by a stray bullet. Unfortunately, we're coming in from the Con side so that makes it even more difficult.
I hear a growl behind me and look and see Megatron and he does not look happy. "Sam! Megatrons behind us!" I warn.
"Just keep moving!" He yells back.
We soon see Lennox up ahead and Sam quickly starts yelling of his attention. I also see Sideswipe. "Sides!" I yell.
"Averie!" He yells back. "Averie and Sam are here!"
More shots ring out from behind us and an array of explosions flare up, making me feel the heat from it on my back. Another shot hits the ground a few meters from us, making us fall to the ground.
Suddenly I see Lennox, Epps, and other soldiers running towards us. I stand up and wave them over while Sam yells. We take cover behind a slab of a wall to avoid getting hit.
I look over and see Lennox and Epps hiding behind a wall right to the left of us and he's yelling us over. I grab Sam and Mikaela's hand and pull them with me. Once close enough Lennox grabs mine and Mikaela's hand and pulls us behind the wall.
"You two better have a good reason for us being here." Lennox states.
"Where's Optimus?" Sam asks.
Lennox points to an area a little ways away as he says,"He's right over there across the courtyard."
"We've got to get to him right now." Sam says.
"No. We've got an air strike coming." Lennox states.
"I have to get to him right now." Sam argues.
Suddenly I hear an engine rev and look and see a familiar silver form running towards us. I can't contain the smile that comes to my face and I go to run towards him but am pulled back by Lennox grabbing the back of my jacket. I turn to glare at him and he says,"Did you forget that it's a battlefield out there!"
"Sorry." I say.
He let's go and says,"It's alright. Just can't let you intentionally get hurt. Besides, it looks like he's coming to you."
I turn and see Jazz right beside me and without another thought I jump at him and he catches me and brings me to his chasis and holds me gently while nuzzling his helm to my head. I start to cry softly as I say,"I missed you so much Jazz."
"Me too darlin'. You have no idea how much." He says warmly. He moves his helm to look at me and sees the silent tears flowing down my face and says,"Oh darlin'. Don't cry. You'll break my spark."
"I'm sorry. I'm just so happy to see you." I say pitifully as I touch my hand to his face as best I can.
He smiles and leans into the touch and let's out a purr.
I chuckle and say,"Your purring again."
"Only fur you darlin'." He replies softly.
Before I can reply shots hit the ground behind Jazz, making him stumble and loosing his grip on me. I hit the ground but luckily it's on my metal leg so I don't feel it.
"Ya alright darlin'?" Jazz asks.
"Yeah I'm fine." I reply.
"Quiet. Back back." Lennox orders as he pushes us into the corner of the wall, further away from view.
Apparently Jazz knows what he means cause he takes cover behind another wall.
I'm about to ask when I hear a Con coming up. It lands right over our heads and shoots at the tanks across the courtyard.
Suddenly I hear someone yell,"Woah stick the landing!" Then a crash follows.
I look and see Jetfire running up to the Con right by us. He grabs the Con and lays him over the wall as he says,"Not let me show you how we brought the pain in our day." He then stabs his walking stick into his neck and then smashes his foot down on the same spot, making his head fall off his body and roll to the side.
Suddenly that scorpion looking Con leaps over the wall and attaches himself to Jetfire, where he blasts a hole underneath Jetfires spark chamber. He pulls the Con off him and smashes his fist onto his head as he says,"I'm getting too old for this crap."
"Jetfire! Are you okay?" I ask.
"Don't worry youngling I'm tougher than I look. I've had worse." He replies.
I notice the leaking energon so I say,"Your leaking."
Jetfire grunts then softly says,"Nothing to worry yourself with Guardian."
"Guardian?" Lennox asks confused.
"Long story. I'll explain later." I tell him.
He nods and then tells all of us, "We're gonna make a break for Optimus okay? You stick with me. You stay on my a-."
We nod in understanding. We get up and get ready to make a break for it.
"I hope these F-16's have good aim." Epps states.
"Whys that?" Lennox asks.
"I told them to hit the orange smoke." Epps replies.
Lennox glances at the orange smoke just of our right and asks Epps,"You mean that orange smoke?"
"That wasn't my best toss okay." Epps says dryly.
They glance at one another and then Lennox and Epps yell,"Run!" At that everyone runs towards the designated area, pushing our legs to go faster and faster.
Then the fireworks start. Shots from jets rain down at the orange smoke area right behind us, making us push our legs even faster. "Incoming!" Epps yells to the Nots ahead.
I hear someone running behind us so I look and see Ironhide and Jazz coming out of the smoke. I smile knowing they made it out alright. That's when blasts ring out behind us next. Small explosions flare out killing whatever happened to be in its path.
I notice Sam veer off to the side and look and see him running towards Optimus. I then see Megatron coming in behind him with his weapon ready. Without thinking twice I steal a handgun off Lennox and run towards Sam and Megatron, ignoring the cries of the others telling me to stop.
Once within firing range I start shooting the gun at Megatron, and making good contact thanks to Ironhide's lessons. Megatron turns his attention to see who's shooting him and when he sees that it's me...he smirks.
I raise my eyebrow at that but before I can blink he raises him weapon and shoots it at Sam hitting the ground behind him making him go flying through the air and landing harshly to the ground...and he doesn't move.
I stare in shock at what's just happened and my breath seems to leave me. My brain doesn't want to comprehend the fact that Sam...no I can't think-he couldn't-. Since I'm not paying attention to whats going on around me I fail to see Megatron run up to me. He grabs me and pulls me level with his face.
"We meet again Guardian." He says in a cruel sadistic way and with a smirk.
I glare at him with tears rolling down my face and yell,"You glitch! You scrap heap! You killed him! You killed him!" I try kicking and hitting anything I can but have limited mobility due of him holding me snugly in his hand.
He laughs cruelly and says,"One less vermin to worry about. Especially one that tried to bring back Optimus."
"Then you might as well kill me too cause I assure you I will bring him back." I hiss at him.
"Killing you would be such a waste. No, I have bigger plans for you Guardian, which includes using your power to restore the AllSpark." He says.
"As if I would do anything for you, and the jokes on you because I don't know how to use the language." I reply.
"But my master does, and will teach you how." He says.
My eyes widen at that, forgetting that piece of information. "I refuse." I hiss.
He smirks and says,"Who said you have a choice."
I see bots and soldiers alike running up to us and apparently they don't see me cause they go to shoot me. Thankfully Megatron moves me away and says,"Do you really want to risk damaging your precious human pet?"
Everyone looks at the human in his hands and they eyes widen when they see it's me. "Let her go you fragging pit spawn glitch!" I hear Jazz yell in anger.
Megatron chuckles and says,"I think not Autobot. Now that I have the Guardian of the AllSpark I intend to keep her close."
The Autobots become shocked at the declaration while the humans just looked confused. "Say goodbye to her Autobots. She belongs to me now."
"Frag that!" I hear Jazz yell as he charges at Megatron. He fights furiously and aggressively and is actually giving Megatron a run for his money.
In wanting to help I wiggle my arm, that's holding the gun, out of the confinement of Megatrons servo. Once out I aim the gun at Megatrons face and shoot him right in the head. It's not a kill shot but it does make him drop me in order to grab his face.
I fall to ground roughly and groan at the impact. "Averie, run!" I hear Jazz yell.
I get up as quickly as I can and run towards where Sam is getting looked over.
"No! I will not be denied! If I can't have her no one can!" Megatron shouts.
I don't look back and continue to run...but maybe I should have. I hear the sound of a gun powering up and before I know it I feel heat engulf me and I'm soaring through the air, and then landing painfully on the ground.
As I lay there I feel like I'm choking, with every breath feeling farther and farther away. I feel that my back is wet, but with what I'm not sure. My front is also the same and I feel something sliding down my face but for some reason my whole body feels numb so I can't even lift my arm.
I can vaguely hear footsteps coming towards me but I don't give it any thought. My thoughts go to Everyone here, and how I've let them down. I can't even move so that leaves getting the Matrix dust to Optimus out of the question. If only I knew how to use the language of the AllSpark then I could be of an actual help to the Autobots.
My thoughts then take me to the Autobots and how much they mean to me especially a certain one...I'll miss them all, but him more so...
One last thought runs through my mind before I loose consciousness...
I love you Jazz...I really love you.

Also, Averie finally admitted she loves Jazz! Even though she's on the verge of death and he didn't even hear her say it nor him saying it to her, she finally admitted it! How will this turn out? Tune in to find out but in the mean time leave a review and tell me what you think! Bye! :D
