Sorry this chapter took so long and is super short but I've been really busy with school and I also got the Trials of Apollo series (yay!)

Nico POV
Nico woke up to the ocean waves hitting his shoes. He quickly stood up and took his now wet shoes off. Nico walked back into the woods as the moon was disappearing below the horizon.
Why does Will care? I'm just another thing for him to fix and when he's done he'll forget about me. But he did say I wasn't a problem.
That's bs Nico and you know it. But he said I wasn't a-
Percy promised to protect Bianca. Look how that turned out.
Nico took a deep breath and hugged himself. His pale face was stained with tears, making him look downright mournful.
Nico came to the edge of the woods and looked at Camp Half-Blood. He saw Will leave his cabin and felt a pang in his chest when Will had dark circles under his eyes. Nico wanted to rush up to Will and hug him but he didn't think Will would like that. Or maybe he would and Nico would be unnerved again and run away.
Anyways, Nico backed into the shadows and appeared in his cabin. He immediately felt light headed and collapsed on his bed.
Nico knew he shouldn't have shadow traveled, Will's voice chiding him in his head. He opened a dresser drawer and placed a flower from the forest inside. Nico noticed he had gathered quite the collection as he had many different types of plants and their flowers.
He grabbed a hyacinth and held it up to his nose. Will always smelled like hyacinths. Nico let a tear fall before setting the flower back in his drawer.
"Curse you Will Solace." Nico mumbled.
