Welcome to Angel Grove
"Oh, er, President, what are you doing here?" Izuku had quickly hidden the wrist, with his new morpher, behind his back. Izuku's mom excused herself saying she was getting tea ready.
Momo Yaoyorozu fixed her loose strand of hair, tucking it behind her ear. she cleared her throat before she spoke. "Yes, pardon the intrusion, but I feel it is my duty to make sure you are getting accustomed well. Along with transferring to U.A., You also just recently moved to our city; Angel Grove, correct?"
"Um, yeah, why?" He rubbed his hair trying to pretend his arm didn't feel heavy.
She crossed her arms under her bust. "Then it falls on me to make sure you know how to make your way around." She finished with a nod, ready to fulfill her duties as class president.
"Oh, really? That's nice, I would appreciate it but today is kinda bad for me." He waved off with his other hand still keeping his morpher hidden. "You know, moving and everything."
She, in turn, replied the same, by waving him off. "Nonsense, I insist. Besides isn't exploring the city apart of the moving experience? I can introduce you to some of the main locations."
His mom happened to pop back in and had heard. "Oh don't worry you can finish unpacking later. You should take her up on her offer and get to know the city, it's going to be our new home."
And now he couldn't say no. "O-Okay s-sure, can I just get a minute to change? Thanks." He politely guided them out of his room and closed the door, locking it. He sighed out in relief. Now he could stash his morpher. He lifted his wrist up to his face, about to take it off but, "Huh, it's not here?" He looked around the floor but it wasn't there. It had completely disappeared. "Weird..." Could it have just vanished similar to how it manifested? "Ah, I don't have time to think about this! The morpher has to be here somewhere, I'll just look for it later." He reasoned as he stumbled to change clothes. He took off his shorts putting on some jeans and his red shoes, throwing on a jacket as he walked to the door, opening it.
Momo Yaoyorozu and Inko Midoriya were sitting next to each other enjoying tea. They both turned to him as he came out of his room. "I assume are you ready, Izuku?"
"Uh, yeah, I think so. Wait, Izuku?" Confused as to why she called him by his given name and not surname.
Her eyes widened a bit flustered. "Oh, is that not okay? Your mother said-,"
"Exactly, like I said, it's fine, actually I insist." Inko reassured with a big grin, waving off her worries, even giving Izuku a look.
"Y-Yeah, it is. It just caught me off guard, is all." He gave an apologetic smile, letting her know it was okay.
"Oh, well then, we should be off, shouldn't we?" She stood from the couch and excused herself. "The tea was lovely, I hope to enjoy more."
"Oh, p-please, come back. any time." Inko's delivery was a little shake after Momo's compliment. "Izuku, sweetie a word before you go."
"Sure, Mom." But he had an eyebrow raised because his mom had been acting strange. He walked to the side with her as Yaoyorozu waited by the door.
"Do you know who that is?"
"Um, the class pres-,"
"She is the heiress to Zordtech!"
His eyes almost popped out of his socket. That was the company that basically led humanity to the future by combining modern technology with alien technology. "Wh-What?!" He whispered in shock.
His mom nodded. "So make sure you get in her good graces. We could use a new washer!" His mom grew bright eyes at the thought of new appliances.
"Mom, no." He rolled her eyes.
"Well, regardless you will show her respect, her company has given us a lot. I don't want to be on bad terms with them."
"How can you on bad terms with a company? Actually, nevermind. See you later Mom." He walked to Momo and the door. "C'mon Prez." He opened the door, leading them out. Momo bowed as she said goodbye, before following after Izuku.
As they walked away from his apartment complex, she began to take the lead. "I believe you already know of the city's park, you have a good view from your apartment. There was a recent Nomu attack but don't worry those aren't common. Your mother and I got to see The Power Rangers save the day, there was even a new green one! Ah, but the authorities are still investigating, so we shouldn't approach." She had accidentally let her excitement squeal out. 'The Bunny styled helmet was too cute!'
"Yeah, I must have missed all the commotion, I had my headphones on full blast. It's also why I fell, I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings and hit a moving box. But my mom picked that place because of the view. She said that there's something peaceful about kids playing nearby."
They went to the train station, waiting on the platform. They didn't wait long for the train to arrive. They entered the rather empty train, although neither of them bothered to find seats "Our first stop is the youth center." Just as she finished the train came to a stop. They exited and stepped onto the platform.
Momo guided them to the building. She explained that most of the kids hung out here after school, and that it was seen as a second home by some. She introduced Izuku to the person who ran the place, it was a cheerful fella who went by the nickname Fat Gum. Yaoyorozu also wanted to introduce him to Togata and the others but they weren't around. Although Midoriya did make friends with a frog alien in his class named Tsuyu. Momo showed him some of the places features like a game room, juice, bar, gym, garden, and many more. It was the ideal place to make friendships and grow bonds.
"Next stop, the shopping district, and mall." Again they were on the platform and the process repeated. The train came quickly and got to their stop just as fast. They walked through streets of outlets and small shops, some fancy others struggling. Momo said that this area was for when you needed to get supplies, accessories, tools, or anything else. She also mentioned that the shopping district was by the entertainment district and that they merge at the mall. Upon arriving at the mall Momo ran into two of her friends, eating at the food court.
"Hello Kodai, Yanagi." They weren't in Izuku's class but looked at him as if they knew. Momo explained that she was giving Izuku a tour of the city.
"Green." Was all Yui Kodai said.
"H-Huh?" Izuku scratched his cheek, slightly confused and nervous.
Yui lifted her hand and pointed at his shirt. "It says green." But her voice was monotone, uncaring.
"Don't mind her mannerisms, Kodai interacts with others as best her abilities allow." Yanagi Reiko seemed to contrast her friend and do the talking for both of them, she offered for them to join, seemingly as interested in Izuku as Yui was.
"Oh that sounds lovely, we can take a small break and Yanagi can tell you about the library and other places to visit."
Izuku realized he didn't really have a say in the matter and decided to let himself enjoy the city. 'Angel Grove, huh?'
