Seifer, Fujin and Rajin ran through the door that had appeared out of nowhere, they were furious at Seifer being shown up like this. All those dark monsters came out and they were quite helpless against them, how was Seifer supposed to prove his worth as a future hero if he couldn't do anything to defend himself if their home was being invaded by monsters?
Then that brat Sora had that stupid looking giant key key appear in his hand and somehow he was able to fight the monsters? Seifer couldn't help but be righteously furious at being shown up by that fairy tale loving childish brat, if someone was going to get some magical weapon (as stupid looking as it was) then it should be him.
But it disappeared as soon as he had taken it and gone back to Sora? It was so not fair!
They didn't notice Sora anywhere and they were now in a place where there was nothing but pure darkness just like the sky was on Destiny Islands, they looked and saw to their shock and horror that the door had disappeared. "Wait, what about back home? Is everything gone..." Rajin remarked looking quite worried at the thought of their home being gone forever.
Fujin looked quite concerned while Seifer was growing furious, "Some supposed hero that pipsqueak turned out to be, he just ran away through the door and left our home to be destroyed by those monsters... This would never have happened if I had gotten that key thing instead of him!" I would have vanquished all of them and saved them all in record time..." Seifer ranted while taking off his hat to throw to the ground and stomp onto it angrily, while his two cohorts tried to comfort him. Sora was always a loser and would at best be a sidekick, who thought that he should be given a weapon?
Then they heard a sound and saw darkness rising from the ground and Seifer readied the Struggle bat that he was still holding ready to fight against whatever happens, the darkness then took shape of a tall figure. The figure then turned into a green skinned woman in long black robes with dark purple linings, a yellow staff with a yellow glowing orb, a raven perched on her shoulder and she was wearing a black horned headdress.
"Poor young ones, lost your homeworld to the Darkness? Unfortunate what happens when the Darkness is rising and with no master to command it." The woman said in a dark booming voice as Rajin and Fujin looked a little frightened by her appearance, "Sorry for scaring you but I assure you that I mean you no harm, I am known as Maleficent and this is my friend Diablo." The woman said introducing herself and her raven.
"What are you doing here and where is here? Tell me right now or else, you are dealing with Seifer Almassy the leader of the Destiny Islands Disciplinarian Committee!" Seifer replied looking quite defiant while pointing his Struggle bat at her direction.
"Don't fret Seifer as again I mean no harm, I assure you that I want to help save your home. For you see your world is just one of countless among the Universe. Untapped uncontrolled Darkness creating monsters from the Darkness of people's hearts known as the Heartless. As it grows it claims world after world." Maleficent explained using her staff to make appear an illusion filling up all above them of various worlds, it astounded the trio who then grew frightened and gasped when they saw Darkness claim them and make them disappear.
"I have the power to control Darkness and Heartless but alas the untapped Darkness has grown too strong to stop it. I can show you how to tame it and make use of its power to help not restore your world but save all others." Maleficent finished looking down at them and they looked unconvinced.
"Seifer, Rajin, how are we supposed to trust her? Her name is Maleficent and it sounds like malevolent... I don't think that she is trustworthy, plus use Darkness to help stop the Darkness that took our home?" Rujin said speaking up as Rajin and Seifer now looked suspiciously up at Maleficent who shook her head.
"I don't blame you for being sceptical as the Darkness is misunderstood but it can be used for good just as its counterpart the Light. Plus 'Maleficent' is a name that was forced upon me. For you see I was a part of a community of fairies that studied Magic and had great disdain for Dark magic. I believed it could be used for good and studied and practiced it in secret, they caught me and the simple minded fools banished me and named Maleficent. If they had listened to me then perhaps we could have stopped it before it began but now if i want to stop it, I need a brave heroic soul to act as my knight..." Maleficent replied and smirked when she saw a look of realisation in Seifer's eyes.
What was basically a sorceress was asking him to be her knight to save the day? It was a fantasy coming true, to be like the knight in that movie that he adored so much. He grew excited but turned to Rajin and Fujin who looked unsure but then nodded. "Whatever you decide Seifer, we will be there for you." Rajin told him and he grinned in acceptance.
He kneeled down on one knee and Maleficent put her staff to his shoulder as if knighting him and Seifer got up noticing that his Struggle bat was changing, they were amazed that it had transformed into a black and dark red sword with the blade shaped like a bat wing with dark blue eye symbol at the centre of it.
"This will act as your weapon and can help you against the enemies that you face, I will give you the power to control the Heartless to help you carry out your tasks. There is a force known as Kingdom Hearts that we must get to restore all the worlds but to unlock it, we must find the 7 Princesses of Heart. However you may come across that Sora boy whose weapon known as the Keyblade can fight the Darkness. Such an immature reckless child with the power that he now holds could be a big obstacle in our plans so you mustn't let him if you come across him." Maleficent warned him and smirked when she saw the dark look on Seifer's face as he nodded with him radiating Darkness.
"Now, let's begin..." Maleficent said as she motioned them to follow her.
Sora had gone through the door and was surprised to find himself someplace most different from Destiny Islands; the fashion was different and the buildings and structures were different and it was crawling with people. He then felt a heat coming down and put his hood up to try and protect him from it; he looked behind him and saw that the door had disappeared to his shock.
How can he get back now, is Destiny Islands and all his friends and family gone? No, he was going to find a way back home and save everyone from all the monsters but first he had to learn where he was and how to get back. Plus what is his key sword thing?
He noticed a girl in an abaya with the hood up taking apples from a cart to give to some small children to the fury of the merchant, he reached out to grab the girl's arm but then everyone noticed people running away from something. Sora saw that they were running away from the same monsters from Destiny Islands, he then got his key weapon and remembering something aimed right at them shouting 'Fire' to attack them.
He then went and attacked some more as they were reaching the young children that the girl had given the apples to and managed to take care of the monsters in the area while the people started clapping. He smiled thinking the praise felt good and he walked by but he saw someone reach out and motioned for him to follow her.
He went to the inside of the building and noticed it was the girl from before, "I saw what you did with the apples to those children, that was nice..." Sora said but then saw a tiger come up and pounce on him. He was terrified but found the tiger licking his face?
"Down Rajah, you are scaring him. Sorry about Rajah but he is just saying that he likes you and I think he is a brilliant judge of character. I'm Princess Jasmine and I think from how you look, you are not from here?" Jasmine said having taking off the abaya that she was using as a disguise, as Rajah got off him with her holding out a hand to help him up. Sora was amazed by how pretty she looked and accepted the help up with her giggling.
"Hi, I'm Sora and I come from Destiny Islands. I don't know how far away I came here from but monsters like those attacked and this door magically appeared and I went through if you can beleive it... Did you say Princess?" Sora asked before giving a bow to which Jasmine giggled.
"I read about these monsters in a book that I had taken when we had to escape from the palace last night. The monsters are called the Heartless and they are born of the darkness in people's hearts, they feed on people's hearts to turn them into Heartless and if someone loses themselves to Darkness they can turn into one. Come look." Jasmine explained and motioned him to the upstairs bit of the building where on a table the book was wide open and she turned to the page saying their weakness is to Light magic and especially a weapon called the Keyblade. Sora saw the picture in the book looking like his new weapon, "The Keyblade is drawn from a strong heart and is used to cast magic and fight the Darkness. The Heartless is drawn to it to try and fight it, you must be a noble soul to have been chosen for it." Jasmine said with a smile and Sora looked taken aback.
"Well I just got it, couldn't do much to save my home when it happened before the door appeared, I am mostly trained in wooden sword fighting but I kept losing... But you can count on me to help out!" Sora admitted making Jasmine look pleased, "But what exactly happened here?" Sora asked and Jasmine looked bitter making him look confused. They heard something and went to the window to look at the direction of the palace where there was a large vision of Jafar's head facing down at the city.
"Citizens of Agrabah, I am royal vizier Jafar and I must inform you of dire news: that Princess Jasmine has disappeared and the Sultan is too broken hearted to do anything of the crisis of the monsters attacking so he has surrendered full control over to me until further notice. I assure you that I have tracked these monsters to the work of the kingdom of Sherabad who had been biding their time to strike and betray us. As my first act as acting Sultan, I will have an army assembled to take vengeance upon the treacherous forces of this nation!"
The illusion disappeared and Jasmine had her arms crossed with Rajah looking angry, "Jafar was always a snake who I never liked or trusted. Last night I found him in his quarters with a map to Sherabad my late mother's birthplace circled and he had my father under a magical trance. I escaped with this book from his quarters as he had the Heartless chase after me." Jasmine explained to which Sora looked shocked and sorry on her behalf. "You think that you can please help me save the kingdoms and my father?" Jasmine asked with a pleading tone and look to her face.
"Don't worry of course I will help!" Sora asked knowing that he wasn't able to save his home from the Heartless but of course he was going to help and stop the Heartless from taking Jasmine's home as well. Jasmine looked ecstatic as she had taken the book from the table and then put the abaya back on.
"I can show you the way back to the palace but we will have to try and keep a low profile." Jasmine told him motioning him to follow her and Rajah down the stairs and Sora followed them. He had always dreamed of going on adventures beyond the island but he wished the circumstances were much better.
Jafar was smirking to himself as he sat himself on Agrabah's throne, the power of the Darkness amplifying what magic that he had to his exposal making him stronger. Thanks to the Sultan under his control he was able to make Agrabah unprepared for when he had his Heartless army invade, plus when the officials found him surrender control over to him to make his rule unquestioned. The Palace Guards were not willing to follow him and his orders but he was able to use his magic to make them compliant with fears.
He watched as Iago the red feathered parrot stuff crackers into the mouth of the Sultan, "Hey Jafar, after the fun has been had with him you think that we can get rid of him? He has served his purpose after all..." Iago asked as Jafar bashed him on the head with top of his staff.
"He still has purpose Iago, living he serves as a bargaining chip against the Princess when she is found. Besides while I don't doubt they can't do much against me, it would look too suspicious if we have the Sultan taken care off so soon after surrendering power. It would be a needless distraction." Jafar told him with a glare as Iago scowled at him. Iago had been a contact with the thief underworld after he had first gotten to Agrabah; after some attempted double crossing from the smart talking greedy fool , he had him transformed into a parrot once he had acquired some magical artefacts to make it possible. They had been useful especially the staff which allowed him to easily work his way up to becoming the royal vizier once using the magical hypnotism powers against the right people.
Soon he will have an army of guards to invade Sherabad which would just be a distraction for their guards while his Heartless invades the inside of the city. Soon he will draw the entire of his birthplace into Darkness and claim the world's Keyhole. With the Heartless power from Maleficent, he had set to work finding the best possible hiding places for the Keyhole and he was in glee when he discovered Sherabad to be the best candidate.
Soon his birthplace shall be engulfed into Darkness and once the Keyhole is claimed, the world will be his to rebuild once they all find Kingdom Hearts. Growing up as thieves with his brother Cassim thanks to their father squandering all their wealth before they were born and when caught having to spend five years in an underground cold dark cell. Once let out he left his soft hearted brother behind and found his way to magical artefacts and to Agrabah where he clawed his way to the power that he now wields. What happened to Agrabah's Sultana was only a beginning of his vengeance against the accursed place...
Seifer's new sword is the Soul Eater sword that Riku used in his Dark form and by Riku Replica, no it has nothing to do with the manga or anime.
