With the family finances running tight meaning Santa won't be delivering much of a haul this Christmas, Lynn, Sr. and Rita decide to turn this into a learning experience for their kids and instill in them a better understanding of the season of giving by having each of them become a Secret Santa for a random other sibling of theirs. A VERY COINCIDENTAL plot bunny (I swear)!

Just wow!

I just saw a promotional video on Twitter for this weekend's new Christmas episode of Loud House, and… I've been guilty of some MINOR coincidences before with my past Loud House fanfiction… though I absolutely cannot get over the fact that what was nothing more than a plot bunny I had is almost EXACTLY like the new episode "Season's Cheating"! I cannot believe this; the plot is almost exactly the same - right down to the siblings participating in a name drawing for Christmas presents (WHY did I think to have Lynn, Sr. use a mixing bowl instead of a Santa hat?), and even the detail of Leni immediately spoiling her secret (speaking of which, spoiler alert: in the episode, her Secret Santa Sibling is Lynn instead of Lana)! This is THE MOST BIZARRE COINCIDENCE I have ever encountered in writing fanfiction for currently running series! Yes, I knew about the new Christmas episodes beforehand, but somehow, I overlooked "Season's Cheating," and kind of zeroed-in on "A Flipmas Carol," because... isn't that JUST exactly what we all need? Yet another modern variation of Charles Dickens' classic literary masterpiece?

Still, I am floored by this tremendous coincidence! HOW is this even possible?!
