After some time ACP sir called her in the cabin.
She knocked in the door
"Come in Purvi" Acp sir ordered her.
"Yes sir" she replied entering into the cabin.
"Sit Purvi" Acp ordered her while sitting on the chair.
She sat on the chair placed in the room next to the desk.
"Sir is there something serious?" she asked as she noticed tension on his face.
"I don't know. May be yes." replied Acp while looking at her.
"sir what happened?" She asked.
"Look Purvi I have always treated you as my own daughter and I want something from you" He said with a serious tone which made Purvi look at him with suspiciousness "And what is it?" She asked.
"Purvi I want you to move on in life. I want you to be happy. I want you to get married once again." said Acp expecting her to reply positively.
Purvi was shocked at what he said "Sir I am Happy with this life. And the thing about marriage, Sorry sir, I can't do that." She replied.
"Purvi I don't know about your past and I don't want to know about it. I just want you to be happy." He said trying to convince her.
"Sir that was my past. Yeah I loved him but he came into my life as a lesson only. I don't care about anything. I am happy here and Hayat is enough for me to give a reason to live." She replied and Acp's phone rang at the same time.
"Yes sir" said Acp answering the call
"Okay okay sir. My officer will pick him from the airport."
"Okay" He ended the call.
"Purvi tomorrow a senior officer from New York is coming and You have to go to pick him from there. You will pick Mr. Khanna from Airport. Okay?" Acp asked Purvi rather in a ordering manner.
"'Mr. Khanna'She thought to her self.. no no there are many Khanna's in the world. But he was also an CID officer. No Purvi He can't be him." She thought to herself and agreed to pick him from the airport.
And the day ended without any case getting reported but for the officers to do all the pending file work with some fun and a bit of romance for some.
Next day.
Purvi was waiting for Mr. Khanna with a board written Mr. Khanna on it at the gate.
Soon the flight landed and all the passengers come out. A man wearing white T-shirt, black jacket and blue jeans with black googles and brown cowboy shoes, looking very handsome came out and started searching for someone known. Soon He spotted his friends and went to them.
The girl saw him and hugged him and then the boy hugged him.
"Kavin, dude it's been so many years and You are coming to meet me now. Haan. This is what happens in friendships? No calls no messages, nothing." She said angrily.
"Ishi, Yaar don't get angry na. You know the reason bro. Now don't get angry. Ek toh main itne time baad aaya hoon" Kavin said smiling cutely.
Ishita too smiled and they both hugged each other tightly.
The boy standing beside them who was smiling watching them now spoke "Haan haan, You guys forget me." He said while making a pout.
"Abey nautanki, stop behaving like a child and give me a hug Idiot, Varun" Kavin replied while moving ahead for a hug and Varun hugged him back.
They drove back home while at the ride back to home Kavin thought "Its the same city which took away my everything from me. Years back I lost my everything, my whole family here and now I am here again. I wish to not to meet her again. Waise bhi India is very big, who knows where she is now. Whatever, just focus on your work."
Here at the airport Purvi was waiting for him but a hour passed and he didn't arrive. Being irritated by waiting she called Acp
"Sir, I have been waiting here from past one hour but the officer haven't arrived yet." She said irritatedly.
"Acha, Wait I inquire from the head quarters"Acp replied.
He called the head quarter and they informed that he has already gone.
On call
"Purvi, The officer had already left."Acp said.
"Okay sir" Purvi tiredly replied.
And she left the airport and went to bureau.
She reached the bureau and found that Fredricks and Pankaj were fighting with each other and the whole team present there was laughing at them.
Purvi went to Shreya and asked her what happened to which Shreya replied "Freddy sir ko lagta hai ki Pankaj ne sir ke saare aaloo ke paranthe kha liye hai but the truth..." She couldn't complete her sentence as they heard what Freddy said
"Pankaj main chodunga nahi tujhe" said Freddy.
"Arey sir par maine kiya Kya hai jo aap mere upar aese chilla rahe hai" Asked Pankaj to Freddy.
"Chup kar tu. You have eaten all my lunch." Said Freddy in anger.
"oh hello! I have already bring my own lunch. Meri mumma ne besan ke laddoo bhi diye hai aaj mujhe." Pankaj said while licking his lips and showing laddoo shape with his hands and continued, "I have no intention of eating your lunch when I myself have such a tasty lunch".
"Oh really!" he exclaimed with a change in his expression after listening Besan ke laddoo. But futher continued "But agar tune mera lunch nahi khaya toh fir kisne?" He said looking at all with suspicious eyes.
Before Pankaj could speak anything Divya said "I saw Abhijeet sir and Daya sir near you desk Freddy sir."
Everyone looked at them and Abhijeet finally spoke "Daya pakde gaye"
"Haan bhai" replied Daya.
"Kya sir, agar aapko khana tha toh bol dete na merko" exclaimed Freddy.
"Okay Okay... We're sorry but we were very hungry and the smell was so good so we ate them." accepted Abhijeet.
"See sir, I haven't done anything." Said Pankaj to Freddy.
"Sorry yaar, please maaf kar de " Freddy said folding his hands.
"Nahi Nahi, aapko mujhpe bharosa nahi. Samjh aa gaya merko." Pankaj replied while walking away from Freddy.
"Ahan, Ab maaf kar de na. Wapis nahi karunga aesa kabhi. Sorry na" Freddy stopped Pankaj holding his wrist.
"Pehle promise you will give me a treat " Pankaj asked.
"Okay done" said freddy making Pankaj dance. And they both hugged each other.
Meanwhile Acp sir entered so they all went to their desk and started working.
In evening Purvi reached home and she was shocked to see someone was there playing with her daughter. She entered inside and was relieved to see the man's face.
"You should have told me that You are coming" Purvi complained.
"It wouldn't be a surprise then!" a smirk made it's way on his face.
"Dushyant" she glared him.
"Purvi" he immitated her and they hugged each other.
They aparted in some seconds and Dushyant said "So how's everything?". "Have you completed Your homework, Hayat?"Purvi asked instead of answering Dushyant.
"I am going to do it :p" and she ran away.
Purvi moved her head sideways in disappointment "Everything's good. You are here. Any reason or You have come to meet us?" She asked while sitting at the couch.
"At your home, I have come to meet Hayat and You and in Mumbai I am going to work here on the case of drug dealing and child trafficking." He stated sitting near her.
"Oh so you are one of those officers. Two more are coming as well. This case has been so worst." She stated being tired of running behind people to get any single clue about the gangs.
After some chit-chat Dushyant left and She too did her dinner and slept unaware of the fact that something was coming her way...
