CHAPTER 2-LIFE HAPPENS QUICK

School ended quickly other than that spitz being mean most of the day it went well but, on the way, home is where we begin
"mum why dose Mykkol act so weird" Bluey asked, "well that's easy he has adhd" Chille said quickly in response to Bluey's question "mum what's adhd?" bingo asked which made Chille sigh "well you know how you get bored well with adhd you get bored a lot quicker and sometimes have trouble staying still" Chille tried to explain without confusing Bluey or Bingo while I was tapping the sides of my car seat once we got home I ran upstairs and laid down
assuming I would wake up from the dream any second I laid there for about ten minutes before I fell asleep to see my grandparents crying and spreading ashes my ashes when finally realized this wasn't a dream it was real that voice was real I am actually dead
I woke up at sunset and began to sob thinking what I am going to do the fact hit me that I would have to suck it up before I could go down stairs but then I realized that Bingo and Bluey were siting with their tablet in the middle of the room so I already was scared about the fact that I was dead but not only that but also I have friends I never got to say goodbye to I would have to lie about why I was crying because I would sound crazy otherwise just then I noticed they paused their video and looked over at me
they walked over and sat next to me and then hugged me in response I cried more I tried to say that I needed space, but they hugged tighter tears just kept pouring from my eyes "I want to go home" I blurted out "you are home silly" bluey said in response just then everything got really blurry and my vision split next thing I know I wake up on the floor of the living room with Chille waiting at the door Bandit sitting next to me and 2 others near me which were not bluey or bingo next thing I know I'm out cold again and wake up in a small white room with another dog sitting next to me and then I realize I'm in an ambulance
I feel a sharp stab on my right arm I pass out again and wake up in a larger colorfully decorated room with a heart rate monitor hooked up to me a cast on my left arm multiple bandages on me an iv drip and two chair in the room
I then notice 2 dogs sitting in the room on a chair with a mobile computer in front of him and Chille on the couch just sitting there doing something on her phone she looks up an sets her eyes on me I can't really tell what she said but I think she noticed I was awake then the a dog walked in and shined a light in my eyes I couldn't tell what he was saying just then they put something on the iv and a cold rush went through my vein
"hey, can you hear me? blink twice if you can" he said so I did "ok I'm doctor Amelia I'm the chief neurologist here you go hurt very badly you've been asleep for three days blink twice if you understand" so I blinked twice "ok good so you are in the ICU you will stay here for another day or so and you will be sent to another room to get more help I will be working with you and your family for the remainder of your stay here ok" she paused "you have some very nice friends who want to visit but let's wait and see how you do" she paused again "so I will have your doctor come and see you in a few minutes" she then left the room about 10 minutes passed someone else walked in and sat down next to the bed I was in
"hello, I'm doctor Joyce I am your primary doctor for your stay so first of all unfortunately your mouth got hurt very badly so you won't be able to speak for a while you also have a broken left arm and let's see if we can get you in a less restrictive environment so you can get some visitors let's try by lunch and get you some visitors tomorrow" hours passed nothing was really happing I eventually fell back asleep I woke back up at sunrise or maybe sunset in a room with a tv and a couch as well as everything else that was there before I then saw the date December thirteenth my birthday there were a few balloons on the corner of my bed on read happy birthday "good morning" I heard Chille say sitting next to the bed I was in you must have been very tired wait here while I go get a nurse" she said as she got up and walked to the door of the room she came back in and was followed by a nurse who hooked a small plastic tube to the iv drip and then the somewhat severe pain I was in faded within seconds "well you've got visitors waiting I will send them back" about five minutes passed and then Rusty Jack Bluey Bingo and Bandit all walked in followed by a nurse.
