"Your dessert, my regent. Tonight, it's an apple compote draped with yogurt." Blaine said as he placed the fancy dish in front of Charlie, who grinned widely at him and nodded her head. Blaine turns to Quinn who is watching her sister carefully and bows slightly. "Are you sure you don't want anything?"

Quinn turns her attention to Blaine for a moment, and motions to her glass. "Another glass will do, thank you Blaine." With that she returns her attention to Charlie who had taken her spoon and scooped out a small amount and was currently holding it out for Santana so that she can try. "Charlie we've talked about this."

Charlie turns to look at Quinn and smiles at her before waving the dessert at Santana, who flushes deeply and glances around at the other vampires who are watching them carefully. It had been odd, watching Charlie and Quinn. The two of them had been the only ones to have actual food, which seemed to disgust and intrigue the other vampires. She had heard that vampires couldn't eat, normal food. But Charlie and Quinn did—well it was mostly Charlie. She flicks her eyes to the dessert, it did look and smell delicious. She sighs inwardly before opening her mouth and letting Charlie slide the spoon in. She had avoided Charlie's sugary snacks because she was certain the vampire was trying to fatten her up for whatever reason, but the sweetness mixed with the tartness of the yogurt is an interesting combination and she can't help but smile and look up at Charlie. "It's good."

Charlie turns to look at Quinn a triumphant look on her face as Quinn shakes her head.

"You do realize that all because it has apples in it does not mean that it is part of a balanced diet, right? I've told you a million times Charlie that you'll rot your fangs out, and nothing is as pathetic as a vampire without fangs. Isn't that right Finn." Quinn smirks looking at the tall man who was sitting on the opposite side of the table.

"They grew back," he mutters under his breath glaring at her before turning to look at the head of the table where there were two empty chairs.

"Eventually," Quinn reminds him, a cruel smirk dancing on her lips.

Santana glances at the huge man that's sitting as far away from the twins as he possibly could, in fact it seemed to be something that everyone was doing. There was a wide berth between the twins and all the other vampires and she wanted to know why. Even Brittany of all people wasn't sitting with the twins.

"I don't know why you're smiling. The only reason we're been dragged to this little shit-stain of a state, is because you two haven't been doing your jobs. I suppose the provincial life isn't for you. Even the blood that you've been selling has gone down in quality as of late."

Santana glanced at the person who had spoken and frowned, his face looked like a horse. He probably thought he was handsome but he was anything but. She takes a peek as Charlie continues to eat her dessert and she nudges the vampire for some more.

"There has been some troubling news that has been brought to our attention," Another vampire adds after a moment. "For instance, there is this nasty rumor that you killed a member of our own, just so you could keep your little pet."

Santana froze for a moment, they were talking about her. They were talking about her as if she wasn't in the room and she could feel their eyes on her. Cold, calculating, she wasn't quite sure if this was some ploy to get her to relax before the twins fed her to the hungry vampires. She takes a peek at the twins only to see that Charlie's eyes glowing softly. She was angry, even if it didn't look like it. She swallows, wondering why she was even dragged into this room. She was tired of having to always find the exits, she was tired of always being wary of a vampire fight breaking out in her vicinity. They could tear her to pieces. She just wanted to go back to her room. Her room was safe. She glances at Quinn, wondering how she was taking this new line of attack but she just seemed bored. Like she was above all of this.

Quinn smiled, like she wasn't quite bothered and picks up her glass holding it up so Blaine can fill it. She flicks her eyes down to the dark thick red liquid, and rotates her wrist slightly watching as the blood moves around the glass. "And here I thought you were here to enjoy our hospitality, to drink our blood and pass judgement on our criminals. We haven't been together in a room like this in years. It's been lovely, hasn't it? Don't you agree Charlie?"

Charlie turned to Quinn and nodded after a moment making a gesture with her hand.

"Now, now Charlie. It's not polite for us to bring up the fact that they have failed miserably at keeping the Black Court from our territory." Quinn reached over and patted Charlie's hand. "They're guests in our home, and they've followed the rules that we've set out. Besides Brody and Mercedes didn't mean any disrespect, did you?"

Brody turns to look at Charlie for a moment, "Even if I am, it is my right as the Knight to do so. You're both nothing more than rooks. I outrank you, and it's about time that we stop pussy-footing around the issue. There are rules."

"The reason why you fear us hasn't changed," Quinn reminds him bluntly. "We got demoted in rank, our power hasn't changed. Perhaps a demonstration?" Quinn glances at Charlie. "Enjoy your dessert, I can handle this."

Charlie's eyes narrow slightly at this, before nodding once and turning her attention back to Santana and smiling.

"You do know that I can feed myself, right?" Santana prompts only to receive a large smile from Charlie. It's almost enough to distract her from Quinn moving and she turns just in time to see Quinn appear in front of Brody grabbing him by the face. Her eyes widen as she watches as the other vampires immediately scatter giving them space, as Quinn used the momentum to take Brody down to the ground, his chair slamming hard against the ground as she moved again perched nonchalantly on his chest. "Holy—" Santana begins attempting to give the two some space only to have Charlie stop her. She looks down at the hand on her knee and up at Charlie who nods towards the dessert.

"No! Please! No!"

Santana tore her eyes away from Charlie's lame attempts to distract her from what was going on around her. Her gaze falls on Quinn and she almost wished she hadn't looked, that she had let Charlie distract her despite the muffled screams that were now being emitted from Brody. Familiar dark shadowy tendrils seemed to appear from underneath Quinn's body, as she held Brody down firmly. It was slow moving at first, like someone had spilled an inkwell that was slowly spreading across the ground and the sound of scraping chairs as the rest of the court began to pull away from whatever that was. Suddenly the black miasmic-like substance begins to form into a solid mass, as they slowly lift up from the ground and begin to move in a writhing motion as they wrap around Quinn, and hover above Brody's face.

"I've always wondered if your eyes grew back," Quinn mused as the tendrils suddenly shot forward, some worked at forcing Brody to keep his eyes open as the other one hovered just above his pupil. Quinn hums and looks up her gaze cold as she looks at the other vampires in the room. "Anyone else want to throw their rank around?" Her tone is almost lazy, but there is a dangerous edge. Her eyes fall on Brittany for a moment, the only person who hadn't gotten out of the way and was still sitting there, her gaze focused on Santana. "Good." Quinn smiles easily as the tendrils begin to recede and she hops off Brody's body. She stretches and quickly straightens out her clothes before extending her hand for Brody.

Santana, exhales, not even aware that she had been holding her breath and looks at Charlie who was looking at her dessert with a mild look of displeasure on her face. The glass was currently empty and she looked disappointed at the fact. "Can we ask Blaine for more?" Santana asks after a moment.

Charlie looks up at her and tilts her head to Blaine and holds up two fingers, before pointing at the dessert.

Blaine shoots Santana an irritated look before nodding at Charlie. "Of course, right away ma'am."

Santana glances over at Quinn, who was busy fussing over Brody patting him gently and smiling at him as she straightened up his clothes. The smile that was etched on Quinn's features seemed forced, but she was probably trying to reassure everyone that everything was under control and okay. It only reaffirmed what she believed to be true, Quinn's bark was certainly worse than her bite.

She hadn't even seen Quinn move, but she saw and heard the result, as Brody screamed in pain clutching his face.

Quinn hummed as she looked at the eyeball in her bloody hand, inspecting it carefully. "How boring, it looks like a regular eyeball. I mean I have no idea what I was expecting but I was certainly hoping for something far more interesting." Quinn looks at Brody for a moment before sighing and tossing the eye at him. "I hope it grows back, but I suppose you could always withdraw from your position as a knight and become a pirate. You'd make a fine pirate."

Santana covers her mouth, hoping that the sweetness that she tastes isn't the apple compote coming back up. She glances over at Charlie who picked up a napkin and tossed it at Quinn as Blaine placed some dessert in front of her.

"Do you need a bucket?" Blaine asks as he reaches for the dessert on his tray, pausing for a moment as he studies Santana.

Charlie glances over at Santana before patting her on the back gently in an attempt to comfort her.

Her stomach heaves and suddenly there's a bucket placed on her lap as she suddenly loses the contents of her lunch and dessert into the bucket. She groans and looks up at Quinn who is cleaning off her hand with the napkin, she didn't look like she had just plucked some vampires eye out with her bare hands. She still looked like Quinn. He had submitted there had been no need for the violence, no need to prove that her bite was far worse than her bark.

"You bitch!" Brody screamed as he lunged at Quinn who turned to look at him.

Santana's eyes widened as his body was suddenly wrapped up tightly in shadowy tendrils, and she looked over at Quinn who seemed mildly surprised at the action. It's only when Quinn turns to Charlie that Santana realizes that the other twin had decided to interfere. Charlie who was sitting there eating her dessert.

"Charlie, I did pluck his eye out, I mean honestly, he's allowed to have a reaction. I suppose him attacking me from behind was a stupid idea but he's allowed to be upset." When Charlie doesn't let him go Quinn sighs and takes her seat beside her sister. "Fine, I forgive you for calling me a prude."

Charlie glances at Quinn for a moment and smiles at her pleased with the turn of events, but she still doesn't let Brody go, instead the tendrils start to squeeze tighter, and muffled screaming is heard amongst the sound of loud pops and cracks.

Santana can feel her stomach flip again as she immediately closes her eyes and covers her ears, it's not enough to cover the strangled screams, or the breaking of bone. Charlie was fully intent on crushing him to make a point.

"Drop him."

The room went deathly quiet and Santana couldn't help but look up, where a tall black woman with blonde hair stood an annoyed look on her face. The other vampires immediately took the moment to bow except for Quinn and Charlie who continued to sit in their seats. Brody was still in the air the tendrils were still squeezing down on him, and she could still hear his bones splintering.

"I am your Queen. Do not make me repeat myself, you creepy sociopathic twins."

"Charlie," Quinn prods gently.

Charlie looks over at her sister before the tendrils suddenly disappear and there's a loud thump on the ground. She doesn't even hesitate to start eating her dessert again, like she hadn't just been torturing a man. Instead she reached for Santana's dessert that had been placed in front of her and slides it to the space in front of her.

Quinn sighs, "Really Charlie? How many does that make?"

Santana swallows, glad that Charlie had relieved her of the dessert in front of her, if there was a next time she was going to insist that she get to avoid this whole shit-show. She had just begun to feel safe with Quinn and Charlie, she had just begun to trust them and to see them so casually torture someone? What was going to stop them from doing that to her? Sam had the whole he could turn into a puppy when things got tough for him, but she didn't have that. She would need to think about openly defying them because she wasn't quite sure when they would snap and decide that they had grown bored of her.
