Chapter 15: Worlds Collide

"The news is loving you guys." Maria Hill said. Tony sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "Nobody else is. There's no official call for Banner's arrest, but it's in the air." Maria said and grimaced. Tony nodded understanding the people being angry about the destruction that the Hulk did.

"The Stark Relief Foundation?" Tony asked. Maria nodded on the screen.

"Already on the scene." She responded. "How's the team?" She asked. Tony glanced around his teammates. Rogers looks lost. Natasha let a tear stream down her face. Thor won't stop pacing and anxiously rubbing his right wrist. Bruce is sitting on the floor wrapped up in a blanket, sweating and remembering what the Hulk did.

"Everyone's…" Tony briefly cut himself off as he glanced at his team. "We took a hit. We'll shake it off." He looked away from his teammates and back at the screen.

"Well, for now, I'd stay in stealth mode and stay from here." Maria advised. Tony frowned and leaned forward.

"So, run and hide?" Tony said and Maria pressed her lips into a thin line and softly shrugged her shoulders.

"Until we can find Ultron, I don't have a lot else to offer." She said. Tony sighed and looked back at his teammates.

"Neither do we." Tony looked back at the screen and nodded at Maria and turned off the screen. He stood up from his seat and walked over to Barton who is flying the quinjet. "Hey, you wanna switch out?" Tony asked. Clint looked over his shoulder and shook his head.

"No, I'm good." He looked back at the front. "If you wanna get some kip, now's a good time because we're still a few hours out." Clint advised to his teammate and friend.

"Few hours from where?" Tony asked. Clint sighed.

"A safe house."

Wanda silently sobs as she, Pietro and Bella got back to the Sokovia base. Ultron got what he wanted. Kauldar cuddled against Wanda's lap trying to give her comfort. Pietro having no success in calming his twin sister down called upon their wolf companion. Bella watches from the doorway of their old cells feeling guilty for having Wanda. She shouldn't have to do this. It should have been Bella to play mind games with the Avengers, but what's done is done. They can't go back and change it.

"How is she?" Pietro asked his love and Bella sighed.

"She's still feels guilty. Her encounter with Hawkeye brought up memories." She said.

"Memories of what?" He asked.

"I don't know, but I'm not going to invade her mind to find out." Bella said as she walked away from the room. Pietro gave one last look at his twin sister before following Bella. He knew she had a plan. Something up her sleeve.

"Did you give the archer the drive?" Pietro asked. Bella nodded.

"Wanda trusts him. He hasn't given us a reason not to." She stopped and turned towards Pietro. "Plus, he's one of the guards that helped you both. Even tried to break you both out." She said.

"But at the time we didn't know who he was. Now, you gave him everything that has happened to us?" Pietro exclaimed. Bella ran her hand through her violet hair and sighed.

"I believe Hawkeye can give us the justice we deserve. We all three deserve that." Bella said.

"And what if the public doesn't agree with us, huh?" Pietro asked. "What if they want to arrest us?" He asked his love. Bella pressed her lips in a thin line and sighed.

"Then we leave." She said. "We leave everything behind. No more fighting. No more Avengers. Ultron. Peace. No more." Bella moved closer to Pietro and cupped his right cheek in her hand. "We can leave. We don't have to continue to follow Ultron." Pietro closed his eyes and rest his hand on top of hers.

"Where will we go?" He asked. Bella gave him a small smile.

"I know a place."

"See? You worried for nothing." Clint said to his wife Laura Barton who is checking out his side where he got a wound from the first battle in Sokovia. "Can't even feel the difference, can you?" He teased and his wife gave him a look but smiled all the same.

"IF they're sleeping here, some of them are gonna have to double up." Laura said. Clint sarcastically laughed and rubbed his wife's shoulder.

"Yeah, that's not gonna sell." Clint said as he walked over to the closet and Laura picked up his Hawkeye suit and followed her husband.

"What about Nat and Dr. Banner?" She asked as she walked over to the laundry hamper. "How long has that been going on?" Clint looked over at his wife as he picked up a flannel shirt.

"Has what?" He asked confusedly. Laura let out a laugh.

"You are so cute." Laura smiled at her husband who looked very confused.

"Nat and Banner?" He raised his eyebrows as he put on his flannel shirt.

"I'll explain when you're older, Hawkeye." She teased him.

"Oh. Well, okay." He agreed with is wife as she walked up to him.

"It's bad, right?" Laura asked. "Nat seems really shaken." She pointed out to her husband. When the team came into the house, Laura noticed something was off especially with her good friend Natasha. Clint sighed remembering Wanda's tear stained face. The pain in her eyes. Reminded him of his own daughter's eyes.

"Ultron has these allies." He said. "These kids. They're punks, really, but they carry a big, damn stick. And Nat took a serious hit." Clint explained. His wife noticed her husband is holding back.

"There's more, isn't there?" She asked and he nodded knowing he can't lie to his wife.

"Remember that mission I went on before SHIELD was exposed?" He asked. Laura nodded. "It was them. Those two kids I had to guard over. It was them. And she remembered me." Clint walked away over to the window and watched Tony chop up some wood. "Their names are Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins." He softly chuckled and glanced down at his feet. Laura softly padded over to her husband and wrapped her arms around his waist. He then wrapped his arm around her shoulders and pulled her close. "They want justice for what Strucker did to them. That's why the Swan girl gave me this." Clint pulled out the thumb drive out of his pocket and showed it to Laura.

"Swan girl?" Laura's eyebrows furrowed together and looked up at her husband.

"There's a third enhanced Strucker kept under wraps. Her name is Bella Swan. She's from Forks, Washington." Laura pulled away and looked at her husband.

"You mean Isabella Swan? My sister Renee's daughter?" Laura exclaimed loudly which startled Clint.

"She's Renee's daughter!?" Clint loudly said which probably caught the attention of Tony and Steve who are just right outside. Clint looked back down at the thumb drive in is hand and looked back at Laura. "How long has see been missing?" He asked even though he knows the answer. Laura swallowed the lump in her throat.

"Six years." Clint rushed out of their bedroom and hurried down stairs. Laura followed, but at a slow pace since she's six months pregnant. Clint rushed to his office and hurriedly turns on his laptop. Laura finally caught up with her husband and hurried to his side.

"Clint, what's going on?" She asked feeling anxious and nervousness about her niece that she doesn't know, but still consider her family. Clint hurriedly typed his password and opened the file on the thumb drive. His screen of his laptop was filled with videos, profiles of those who volunteered for Strucker's experiments and records of those who survived.

"Oh my god." Clint whispered as he went through all the files. He then found Bella Swan's file. He clicked on it and watched his wife's niece go through the experiment. Laura gasped in horror and covered her mouth with her hand. Clint made sure the volume is mute, so their kids won't hear or ask questions.

"Clint." He got up from his seat and pulled his six-month pregnant wife into a hug. Laura let the tears fall and squeezed her eyes shut.

"I'm sorry." Clint said as he comforts his wife. She silently sobs and buries her face into his chest as Clint looks over her shoulder and watches Bella brutal training sessions. Strucker turned her into a monster. The archer wishes he could put an arrow in Strucker's eyes. Only Bella got to him first. "I have to tell the team." He said and felt Laura nod against his chest.

"Bring her home, Clint." She said in a muffled voice. Laura turned her head where her ear rest against her husband's chest listening to his heartbeat. "Bring her home."
