The long and I mean very long waited delay of the Violet Enchantress ends today! Here is a brand new chapter! To be honest, I had a major writers block for awhile so I had to take a break and write a new story to get back into inspiration. So, very sorry for the long wait.
I do not own any of the Twilight characters! And I do not own any of the Marvel characters either! And I do not own any of the Originals characters!
Enjoy everyone!
Chapter 19: Self Blame and the Return Home
After explaining to the team about the twins and Bella and showing them the files that was on the thumb drive that Bella gave to Clint. The team was horrified by how the extent of the experimentations went and how many people died in the process. Bella and the twins were the only survivors. The bombings were caused by the weapons of Stark Industries that were sold on the black market by none other of Obadiah Stane.
"I knew Obie had something to do with this. It would explain how the Ten Rings got them when they ambushed my convoy back in 2008." Tony said to the team. He absently touched his chest where his arc reactor was. Even though, he got it removed, it still ruined hundreds, maybe even thousands of lives.
"You can't blame yourself, Tony." Steve assured the billionaire. "You couldn't have known this would have happened." Tony shook his head.
"But I didn't stop it in time." He argued back. Steve can tell Tony would take the news about the twins and Bella hard and put the blame on himself. Obadiah Stane has become a sensitive subject after becoming Iron Man. How this man took Tony under his wing and by doing so, Stane had gain access to every piece of Stark Industries weapon designs and selling them on the black market. Those sellers include HYDRA operatives. The rest of the team can see that Tony blames himself. So, Natasha decides to step in.
"Steve's right." Both men stared at their red-haired assassin. "Stane played both you and your father for years. There would have been no way you could have known about Sokovia's downfall. For years, Sokovia had a tough uprising in the economy. They have been plagued by wars for years now. Many people leave Sokovia because it is not a safe place to live. It's a poor country. There always so many outreach programs over there to help the people who don't have a safe home or a home at all. You want someone to blame? Then blame Obadiah Stane. Why? Because he's the one who sold your weapons to the terrorists and HYDRA. The people of Sokovia should be blaming Stane not Tony Stark or Iron Man. They don't know the truth because Stane made sure the weapons he sold came from you instead of him." Natasha vented out hoping to get Tony to stop blaming himself and focus on how to find Ultron, the Twins and Bella. Steve glanced at Tony and nodded in agreement with Natasha.
"She's right, Tony." The super soldier agreed. "Stane started this mess. Wished he was still alive to bring him to justice against those lives he destroyed in Sokovia, but unfortunately, he's not. You cannot change the past, but you do something about it now. You can show the people of Sokovia the truth about Stane, but to do that, we need to finish Ultron once and for all. Are you with us or are you going to sit here and keep blaming yourself?" Steve told him. The billionaire looked at his teammates for a moment and looked back at Steve with a look of determination. He clapped his hand on Steve's shoulder and Steve did the same action. They both nodded in agreement and Tony looked back at Natasha who gave him a smile.
"Let's find him and kick his ass."
Bella cracked her tired eyes open as the morning sunlight invaded her eyes. She held up her hand to shield her eyes from the bright light of the sun and slowly sat up from the bed she was laid in. A groan escaped her lips and rubbed her tired eyes with the back of her head. The enchantress blinked the blurriness away and her vision became clear. Her brown hazel eyes take in her surroundings and they look oddly familiar. The purple bed covers, and the familiar window made her eyes widened. This is her old room. Before she could comprehend on how she got her, her ears picked up voices. Awfully familiar voices. Bella quickly got out of her bed and stealthy down the hall and towards the corner of the wall near to the top of the stairs. She pressed her back to the wall and peaked around the corner.
"You're not welcome here, Edward. Not after what you did to Bella." She heard Angela's hard voice. The enchantress's heart clench at the sound of her best friend's voice. It has been a long time since she heard her best friend. She almost forgot what Angela's voice sounds like.
"Please, I want to talk to her. I have a right to see my girlfriend." Edward pleaded. Angela loudly scoffed.
"In what world do you have a right to see Bella? And for your information, she's your ex-girlfriend ever since you broke up with her in the middle of the forest and left her there on her own with no way back to her house! She could have been killed by another vampire!" Angela loudly exclaimed. Bella can already imagine the surprised look on Edward's face. "And yes! I know you and your family are vampires and Jacob and his pack are werewolves known as shapeshifters, but that's not the point! The point is Bella never wants to see you or your family again!" Her best friend shouted in her ex-boyfriend's face. Edward could tear Angela apart if he wanted too, but since she's Bella's best friend, he won't. Bella can hear the silent growl from Edward and was about to intervene, but someone else beat her to it.
"I suggested you leave the property, Mr. Cullen." A posh British voice echoed in her house. "Ms. Swan and her companions need rest and with your presences here you will be disturbing them in need of healing from their injuries your family has inflicted on them." The posh British voice told Edward.
"What are you?" She heard Edward hiss. Bella's hearing picked up on Edward's struggle to get into her house. Her eyebrows knitted together as she heard his grunts. "Why can't I enter? What the hell is this?" Edward demanded.
"Oh, you see, it's a simple protection spell. A de-invitation spell. Quite a nifty little spell. To put it into simpler words, you can't enter this house no longer." The posh British voice explained.
"Which means you can't enter Bella's window either." Angela smugly told Edward. "I knew you would find another way into the house especially Bella's window. You used to sneak through her window whenever Charlie was asleep at night. Bella told me everything even about you and your family being vampires." Bella can tell Angela is smirking at Edward and he's probably fuming at her best friend.
"I will be back. You've been warned." Edward threatened Angela. That threat alone made Bella's blood boil and she can feel her violet sparks igniting at her fingertips as she clenched her fists at her side.
"If you or your family ever step foot on this property ever again, I will kill every single member of your family without a second thought." The posh British voice threatened Edward. Bella senses her ex-boyfriend vamp speed away from her house and she let out the breath she was holding. The violet sparks disappeared and felt her body finally relax.
"I swear to god, I want to set his ass on fire. Actually, I want to set his whole family on fire. God! Edward thinks he still has claim on Bella and do not get me started on Jacob! It's like dealing with two idiotic macho bullshit! Bella doesn't need to deal with any of them! She and her companions look like they been through hell! And with Edward and Jacob demanding to see my best friend is pissing me off!" Angela shouted out her frustrations. Bella's heart clenched at the sounds of her best friend's gut-wrenching sobs. "Why can't they just leave her alone?" Angela questioned.
"Because they are lovesick teenage boys who don't know when to quit." The posh British voice softly told Angela. "They are thinking with their hormones. Not their brains. They will come to their senses. If not, then they will be taught a lesson the hard way." Bella stepped back only for the floor to softly creak which alerted them both.
"Did you hear that?" Angela asked.
"Yes, I did, and I know who it is." The posh British voice said. "You may come out, Isabella." Bella froze. How the hell did he know it was her? There is no way he could have known it was her. Is he a vampire like Edward? If he is then why is Angela comfortable being around this guy? "Do not fear, Isabella. I'm not here to hurt Angela." The posh British voice assured to Bella. The enchantress took a chance and walked around the corner and stood at the top of the stairs. Her brown hazel eyes stared at her best friend in the arms of an expensive suited dressed man.
"Where are Pietro and Wanda? And Kaulder?" Angela glanced up at the man holding her close to him.
"Your friends are in the master bedroom resting." He answered.
"What about Kaulder? He's a white wolf Wanda has taken care of since he was a pup. Where is he?" Bella questioned him. The expensive suited man looked down at Angela who nodded then looked back up at Bella.
"That's a little harder to explain, Bella." Angela said. Bella deeply frowned.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"It's better if you come see for yourself." The expensive suited man said. Bella narrowed her brown hazel eyes at him.
"Who are you?" She demanded.
"I'm Elijah Mikaelson, Angela is a former student of mine. She is extremely important to me and as do the people she loves. In which includes you Isabella." Bella took a few steps down the stairs, but her senses went off in alarm. Her brown hazel eyes turned to her violet eyes and violet sparks danced around her hands.
"What are you?" The enchantress questioned and in response, Elijah gave a settle grin.
"I'm an Original."
