A shot of the bustling metropolis of Mushroom City at night was shown as it zoomed in on the set of Ludwig von Koopa's talk show roof terrace. "It's Saturday Night Ludwig, with your host, Ludwig von Koopa!" The announcer announced as the camera zoomed in on Ludwig, who was now wearing a blue tie as he sat in his brown leather chair.
"Hello, Mushroom City! Welcome to another episode of Saturday Night Ludwig! I'm so glad you could all make it tonight, and I hope you will be just as entertained by tonight's episode as I will!" Ludwig cheerfully said to his audience.
"We hope so too, Ludwig!" The audience replied in unison.
"Okay, wonderful! We've got yet another great program lined up for tonight! We'll be talking to the famed actress Madame Flurrie regarding her new play: An Evening In The Enchanted Forest, we'll be speaking with Don from hit reality shows such as The Ridonculous Race about the newest season of the hit singing competition The Sound, and we'll be getting a musical performance from Sonic Underground! I hope this will be enough to keep you entertained for the night!" Ludwig told the audience.
"Okay, let's get on with the show, Ludwig. Get around to announcing your first guest." Morton Koopa Jr. said as he was behind the camera filming the show.
"Alright, time for our first guest! She's a famed actress in theatrical performances such as A Mid-Winter Day's Nap and Paper Mario, and she's due to star in the new musical by Hayzee from Jazzafraz Town: An Evening In The Enchanted Forest! Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Madame Flurrie!" Ludwig announced as Flurrie entered the stage from the left side and sat down in the brown leather chair in front of Ludwig. She didn't wear much other than her usual necklace and earbells.
"Thanks for having me on your show, Ludwig, dear. After the success of the first two episodes of your talk show, I just had to join you on your show myself." Flurrie told Ludwig with a smile.
Ludwig smiled and nodded. "I'm glad to have you on my show as well, Madame Flurrie. I loved your performance in A Mid-Winter Day's Nap. I loved it so much that I saw it twice. Unfortunately, I didn't get the privilege of watching Paper Mario, but from what I've heard, it really lived up to its review in the Mushroom Times." He told Flurrie.
"Thank you, Ludwig. I'm glad you loved A Mid-Winter Day's Nap. I had a lot of fun in that performance myself, so I'm glad people enjoyed my performance in that production." Flurrie replied with a smile.
"Mhm! So, you were to talk about your newest performance in the new musical by Hayzee from Jazzafrax Town: An Evening In The Enchanted Forest, correct?" Ludwig then asked Flurrie.
"Correct. It had been a while since my latest acting performance, and when Hayzee came to me and offered me a role in his newest musical, of course I said yes." Flurrie replied.
"Alright. Can you tell us a little bit about what the musical is about?" Ludwig asked Flurrie curiously.
"Of course I can, Ludwig. I'll be playing the role of Emily Nicholson, a young woman who, after a fierce argument with her husband, goes for a stroll in a nearby forest, unaware that the forest is inhabited by magical creatures, and the magical creatures request her help in defeating the evil troll that has taken over the forest and enslaved most of its inhabitants." Flurrie explained to Ludwig.
"That sounds like it could be a very fun musical, Madame Flurrie. Is there anything else we should know about the musical?" Ludwig asked Flurrie once again, being even more curious about the musical now.
"Well, Hayzee will be playing a role in the musical himself as well. He will be playing the role of Marcus, one of the magical creatures inhabiting the forest that Emily tries to save. Other people who will be starring along side us in the play are Craf T., Shif T., Pooker the Koopa and Penelope Goomba." Flurrie told Ludwig.
"Alright, thanks for telling us about this, Madame Flurrie! I'll be sure to come watch An Evening In The Enchanted Forest once you and the rest of the cast are finished rehearsing!" Ludwig told Flurrie with a smile.
Flurrie smiled back at Ludwig. "Alright, I'm glad to hear that, Ludwig, dear. Well, I must be off now. We have much rehearsing to get done. Thanks again for having me on your show, and I hope to be on your show again in the future. Ta-ta for now!" She said with a wave before getting up from her chair and leaving the set the way she came.
"What a woman. I like how we share pretty much the same hairstyle. Plus, her face resembles that of Wendy very much." Ludwig said with a chuckle before clearing his throat and turning his attention back to the audience.
"Anyway, time to move on to our next guest! He's famous for hosting shows such as The Ridonculous Race and The Sound, and he's popular among the teen and under 40 demographic for comforting the losers on The Sound! And he'll be here with us tonight to talk about the newest season of The Sound! Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for the ever handsome Don!" Ludwig announced as Don from Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race entered the set from the left and sat down in the brown leather chair in front of Ludwig. He wore a white t-shirt along with a black denim jacket, black jeans and black and white sneakers.
"Hey, Ludwig. Thanks for having me on your show." Don told Ludwig with a smile.
"Thanks for being here, Don. I really love seeing you comfort the losers on The Sound. You're a real sympathetic guy, you know that?" Ludwig replied with an equal smile.
Don chuckled at that. "Thanks, Ludwig. You're too kind." He replied back.
"So, you came here tonight to talk about the newest season of The Sound, correct?" Ludwig then asked Don curiously.
"Yes, I did. The Sound will airing its 25th season this year, and to celebrate the occasion, we're bringing back a winner or high placing contestant from previous seasons as guest judges for each episode. It'll be fun to see some familiar faces judging both old and new singing talent on The Sound's 25th season, that's for sure." Don replied with a smile.
"That sounds great, Don." Ludwig replied back with an equal smile. "Who will be the regular judges for this 25th season?" He then asked Don curiously.
"The regular judges for Season 25 of The Sound will be Gareth Nelson, Daisy Weston, Margie Jackson and Chester Powell." Don told Ludwig.
"Alright, that sounds really good, Don. We're all looking forward to Season 25 of The Sound, and we hope it will be a smash hit, just all the seasons before it." Ludwig told Don with a smile.
Don smiled back and nodded. "Alright, thanks again for having on the show, Ludwig. It was a pleasure to be here." He told the blue haired Koopaling.
"Anytime, Don. I hope you'll be on the show again sometime." Ludwig replied back.
Don nodded again. "Alright. I guess I'll be taking my leave now. Take care." He smiled before getting up from his chair and leaving the stage the way he came.
"What a man. He's smart, kind, talented and handsome. The perfect package for a man." Ludwig smiled before turning his attention back to the camera.
"Anyway, it's time for tonight's musical performance! They're three hedgehog siblings who were recently joined by one of the siblings' fox friend! With Sonic the Hedgehog on guitar, Sonia the Hedgehog on keyboard, Manic the Hedgehog on drums and Tails Prower on bass, they'll be performing Queen's greatest hit: Bohemian Rhapsody. Give it up for Sonic Underground!" Ludwig announced as Sonic, Sonia, Manic and Tails walked onto the stage and grabbed their instruments. They didn't say anything to Ludwig and the audience and immediately began playing.
All: Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality
Open your eyes
Look up to the skies and see...
Sonic: I'm just a poor boy
I need no sympathy
All: Because I'm easy come
Easy go
Little high
Little low
Sonic: Any way the wind blows
Doesn't really matter to me
To me...
Manic: Mama...Just killed a man...
Put a gun against his head
Pulled the trigger
Now he's dead
Mama...Life had just begun...
But now I've gone and thrown it all away.
Mamaaaa, ooooh...
Didn't mean to make you cry
If I'm not back again this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on
As if nothing really matters...
Sonia: Too late, my time has come...
Sent shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye, everybody
I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth...
Mamaaaa, ooooh...
Sonic: Any way the wind blows...
Sonia: I don't wanna die
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
[Intermission]
Sonic: I see a little silhouetto of a man...
Sonia, Manic and Tails: Scaramouche, Scaramouche, will you do the Fandango?
All: Thunderbolts and lightning
Very, very frightening me
Sonia: Galileo...
Sonic: Galileo...
Sonia: Galileo...
Sonic: Galileo...
Sonic and Sonia: Galileo, Figaro...
Sonic: Magnificoooo...
I'm just a poor boy
Nobody loves me...
All: He's just a poor boy
From a poor family
Spare him his life
From this monstrosity
Sonic: Easy come
Easy go
Will you let me go?
All: Bismillah, no!
We will not let you go!
Let him go!
Bismillah, we will not let you go!
Let him go!
Bismillah, we will not let you go!
Let me go!
Will not let you go!
Let me go!
Will not let you go!
Never let me goooo...
No, no, no, no, no!
Sonic: Oh, mama mia!
Mama mia!
All: Mama mia, let me go!
Beulcebub has a devil put aside for me
For me...
For meeee!
Sonic: So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye?
So you think you can love me and leave me to die?
Ooooh, baby!
Can't do this to me baby!
Just gotta get out!
Just gotta get right out of here!
All: Ooooooooooooooh...
Oh yeah!
Oh yeah!
Sonic: Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters
Nothing really matters to me...
Any way the wind blows...
As the band finished playing, the audience erupted in applause, and Ludwig was clapping as well. Sonic Underground bowed to the audience. "And with that, I think we've come to the end of tonight's episode. Thanks for watching, and be sure to tune in next episode, where we have new guests, new topics to discuss and a new musical performance. Bye!" Ludwig parted with a smile and a wave.
"This was Saturday Night Ludwig, with your host, Ludwig von Koopa." The announcer signed off.
