A shot of the bustling metropolis of Mushroom City at night was shown as it zoomed in on the set of Ludwig von Koopa's talk show roof terrace. "It's Saturday Night Ludwig, with your host, Ludwig von Koopa!" The announcer announced as the camera zoomed in on Ludwig, this time wearing a black tie as he sat in his brown leather chair.
"Hello, hello! Oh my, I'm so glad you could all join me here tonight for another episode of Saturday Night Ludwig, and Grambi Bless You!" Ludwig told his audience with a beaming smile.
"Grambi Bless You!" The audience replied to Ludwig.
"I love you, Ludwig!" Another female audience member called to Ludwig.
"Oh, I love you too! I do, I do, I do! Oh my, do I have quite the program for you all tonight! Tonight, we'll be talking to famed wrestler Prince Mush, who's finally going to be making a comeback to wrestling after a long time being off the grid, we'll be talking to mayor of Toad Town and steward to Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom, Toadsworth about his hectic life of combining both his jobs as mayor of Toad Town and steward to Princess Peach, and we'll be getting a musical performance from Spongebob Squarepants and his friends Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks and Eugene Krabs! I hope you're looking just a forward to it as I am!" Ludwig told his audience.
"Alright, let's get the show on the road, big brother!" Wendy giggled a little bit.
"Indeed! Here comes our first guest! He was the first champion of the Glitz Pit, a haven for wrestling in the floating city of Glitzville, but was off the grid for a long time for unknown reasons, but he has since been training for a comeback, and now, he'll be joining us tonight to talk about said comeback! Please welcome the one, the only Prince Mush!" Ludwig announced as Prince Mush entered the scene from the left side of the stage, dressed in a white t-shirt, stonewashed blue denim jacket and stonewashed blue jeans with white trainers. He then sat down in the brown leather chair in front of Ludwig.
"Hello, Mr. Ludwig. Thanks for having me on your show tonight." Prince Mush said with a kind smile.
"Anytime, Prince Mush. So, you came here tonight to talk about the comeback in wrestling you've been training so hard for, correct?" Ludwig then asked the wrestler Toad curiously.
Prince Mush nodded. "Yes, I did. You see, after a long time of excessive training combined with a diet of pizza and ice cream, I believe I finally have what it takes to launch my comeback in the world of wrestling. And of course, I'll be making my comeback in the world of wrestling where my wrestling career started: The Glitz Pit in Glitzville." He explained to Ludwig.
"That sounds good! Do you think the Glitz Pit still has records of you in their computer system?" Ludwig asked Prince Mush once again with a curious tilt of his head.
"If they do, that'd be great, but I honestly wanna fight my way back to the top from the bottom of the ranks. It'll make my comeback way more fun for me and way more exciting for my fans." Prince Mush told Ludwig.
"I see, I see. Do you fear the inevitable title bout with the Glitz Pit's current champion, Rawk Hawk if you end up making it that far into the Glitz Pit's rankings?" Ludwig then asked Prince Mush.
Prince Mush shook his head. "Not at all. Rawk Hawk may be arrogant, dripping with overconfidence and have many flashy wrestling moves, but all of that won't be able to save him in the ring when I have both my wits, size, strength and skill to my advantage. Plus, I believe that Rawk Hawk's arrogance will be his downfall once the inevitable title bout comes around." He told Ludwig.
Ludwig nodded at that. "But in order to get to Rawk Hawk, you'll have to face the various other fighters of the Glitz Pit as well. Do you fear that they won't go easy on you knowing that you were once the champion of the Glitz Pit before Rawk Hawk?" He then asked Prince Mush.
Prince Mush again shook his head. "I don't. I don't care if they go easy on me in the ring or not. I like a good challenge in the ring, and the work I have to do in the ring in order to make it back to the top is what makes the reward of victory even sweeter. You see, being in the spotlights is not all glitter and glamour, Mr. Ludwig. You also have to work hard for it." He told Ludwig before the audience applauded at Prince Mush's words.
"Ain't that the Grambi honest truth? Finally, a celebrity telling it like it is! It's rare to see a celebrity who actually knows how the world of being famous really works and openly speaks about it, so I really have to give you credit for that, Prince Mush!" Ludwig told Prince Mush with a cheerful smile.
Prince Mush chuckled at that. "Thanks, Mr. Ludwig. You have to have an open mind and think clearly and logically when you're a celebrity. Because if you don't, you'll become disillusioned from the real world and become arrogant and think you're worth more than you really are. In my eyes, it's important to remain true to yourself, as in the way you were before you became famous. I prefer to remain down to earth, which is the way I was before I became famous." He told Ludwig with the same cheerful smile as the blue haired Koopaling as the audience once again applauded.
"A lot of celebrities could learn so much from such a humble person such as yourself, Prince Mush! I can't help but admire the way you think! My compliments for that!" Ludwig told Prince Mush with another cheerful smile.
"Again, thanks, Mr. Ludwig." Prince Mush smiled.
"Alright. So, now that you feel like you're ready to launch your comeback career in the world of wrestling, when will you be appearing in the ring again?" Ludwig asked Prince Mush.
"You can expect me to start appearing in the ring again by the start of next month." Prince Mush replied.
"Alright. We'll be looking forward to your comeback in the world of wrestling, Prince Mush. Good luck in the ring." Ludwig told Prince Mush.
"Alright. I'll take my leave now, but thanks again for having me on your show tonight, Mr. Ludwig. Hopefully I'll be able to appear on your show again sometime in the future." Prince Mush said with a smile.
Ludwig smiled back and nodded. "I hope so too, Prince Mush. Take care!" The blue haired Koopaling replied.
"Alright, bye." Prince Mush nodded back before getting up from his chair and leaving the stage the way he came.
"What a kind and humble wrestler he is. We really could all take some lessons from him when it comes to being famous." Ludwig said with a cheerful smile before turning his attention back to the audience. "Time to move on to our next guest! He's been the mayor of Toad Town for many years now, and has been serving as Princess Peach's steward since she was a baby, and now he's going to be talking to us about the hectic life he has combining those two jobs! Please welcome Toadsworth!" Ludwig then announced as Toadsworth entered the scene from the left side of the stage and sat down in the brown leather chair in front of Ludwig. He was wearing a brown three piece suit with brown loafers and a black tie.
"Mr. Toadsworth, thank you for joining us tonight on Saturday Night Ludwig!" Ludwig told Toadsworth with a beaming smile.
"Anytime, Mr. Ludwig. Thank you for inviting me to your show tonight to talk about my experience of years and years of being both the mayor of Toad Town and Princess Peach's steward." The elderly Toad replied with a kind smile.
"Anytime, Mr. Toadsworth. So, you started out as Princess Peach's steward when she was still a baby, correct?" Ludwig asked Toadsworth curiously.
"Yes, I did. The Princess' parents were often busy ruling the kingdom, so I was hired by His and Her Majesty themselves to take care of the Princess while they ruled the kingdom, and as the Princess grew up, I remained glued to her side, continuing to care for her as she grew into adulthood and eventually became the ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom, following in her parents' footsteps." Toadsworth told Ludwig.
"So you've known the Princess pretty much her whole life?" Ludwig then asked Toadsworth.
Toadsworth nodded in confirmation. "Yes, pretty much. And because I worry so much about the Princess' safety, she suggested to me that I should pursue a career in politics so that I would have something to get my mind off of worrying about the Princess' safety so much, so I did. When the previous mayor of Toad Town, Quinn T. retired, I decided to run for the position and I won the election with about 67% of the votes, and I have been mayor of Toad Town ever since. Of course, I'm also still steward to Princess Peach while I work as mayor of Toad Town, and let me tell you, Mr. Ludwig: It's quite the hectic life." He spoke.
Ludwig nodded at that. "Yeah, I fully believe you, Mr. Toadsworth. Can you tell us a bit about how hectic that life is?" He asked the elderly Toad.
"Of course, Mr. Ludwig." Toadsworth replied. "You see, when I first started out in office as the mayor of Toad Town, it worked well in taking my mind off of worrying about the Princess, as I was mostly occupied with my tasks at mayor. But then, I started to occasionally work as Princess Peach's steward again, and that's where I started worrying for the Princess' safety again. It has caused a few health issues for myself, including a higher blood pressure, forcing me to take up yoga and meditation on the Princess' advice." He told Ludwig.
"I see..." Ludwig frowned at hearing that Toadsworth's hectic life has caused him a higher blood pressure. "Is the yoga and meditation helping against the stress?" The blue haired Koopaling asked Toadsworth.
Toadsworth nodded. "Fortunately, it is, Mr. Ludwig. It is doing wonders for my higher blood pressure, and my blood pressure is starting to lower again thanks to it." He told the blue haired Koopaling.
Ludwig smiled at that. "I'm glad to hear that, Mr. Toadsworth. Does Princess Peach appreciate your prescence in her work as ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom?" He then asked Toadsworth.
Toadsworth nodded. "She does. If she is in a tough situation when she has to tend to the kingdom's finances, she turns to me for financial advice, and she appreciates the advice that I give her, and often thanks me and shows her appreciation for the financial advice I give her." He said with a smile.
"That's great to hear, Mr. Toadsworth. And with that, I think it's time to wrap up this interview. I want to once again thank you for joining us here on Saturday Night Ludwig to talk about your hectic life as both steward to Princess Peach and mayor of Toad Town." Ludwig told the elderly Toad with a smile.
"Anytime, Mr. Ludwig. Hopefully I'll be able to join you again on your show sometime." Toadsworth replied before he got up from his chair and left the scene again.
"What a man. I have respect for him for being able to combine both the job of being Princess Peach's steward and the mayor of Toad Town." Ludwig nodded before turning his attention back to the camera. "Anyway, it's time for tonight's musical performance! Tonight's musical performance will be from Spongebob Squarepants and his friends Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks and Eugene Krabs, who will be providing us with a cover of Run To You by Bryan Adams! Give them a thunderous applause!" Ludwig said as the audience applauded.
The curtain behind Ludwig then opened to reveal Spongebob and his friends standing on the stage behind Ludwig as they began playing the song.
