A shot of the bustling metropolis of Mushroom City at night could be seen as it zoomed in on roof terrace set of Ludwig von Koopa's talk show. "It's Saturday Night Ludwig, with your host, Ludwig von Koopa." The announcer announced as the camera zoomed in on Ludwig, who was sitting in his brown leather chair wearing a red Santa hat and a green tie with a picture of a reindeer on it.

"Hello, hello! Welcome back to another episode of Saturday Night Ludwig! As you can tell by my Santa hat and tie, I'm all ready for Christmas! I hope you in the audience and the viewers back home are all ready for Christmas as well!" Ludwig told the audience with a beaming smile.

"Yes, we are, Ludwig!" The audience beamed back at Ludwig.

"Okay, okay! I'm glad to hear that! Tonight, we've got another great show lined up for you all! We'll be talking to businessman Tom Nook about his Deserted Island Getaway Package and the life on a deserted island, we'll be talking to Chef Hatchet from Total Drama Island about his brand new reality show, Kitchen of Doom, and we'll be getting a musical performance from King K. Rool and his band, The Smashing Kremlings! I hope you're looking forward to tonight's show just I am!" Ludwig told the audience.

"Okay, Ludwig! Get ready to announce your first guest!" Morton called from behind the camera.

"Alright, here comes our first guest! He's the founder and president of Nook Inc., which is a real estate development company that has recently started offering a Deserted Island Getaway Package, which our guest is going to be explaining all about on my show tonight! Give it up for the one, the only Tom Nook!" Ludwig announced as the audience applauded and Tom Nook walked onto the stage dressed in a navy blue two piece suit with a white dress shirt. He sat down in the brown leather chair in front of Ludwig.

"Mr. Nook, welcome to my show! I'm glad you were able to find time in your busy schedule to make an appearance on Saturday Night Ludwig!" Ludwig told Tom Nook with a beaming smile.

"Yes, yes. It's a pleasure to be here tonight, Mr. Ludwig. I'm glad that I get to talk about Nook Inc.'s Deserted Island Getaway Package." Tom Nook replied with a kind smile.

"Indeed! So, please tell us more about your Deserted Island Getaway Package!" Ludwig then started.

"Yes, yes. So, Nook Inc.'s Deserted Island Getaway Package works like this: We give people who purchase the package the opportunity to move to a deserted island and start a new life there. You will be able to get yourself a house and live life in a true paradise. But of course, as you are moving to a deserted island, there's a lot of development to be made to the island, so residents will have to do the very best they can to make this deserted island into a thriving community, but that's the fun of it: Starting with literally nothing and building up a society on an island from scratch. What's more rewarding than living on an island that you helped build up yourself?" Tom Nook told Ludwig, being rather proud of his Deserted Island Getaway Package.

Ludwig smiled and nodded. "That does sound really fun, Mr. Nook! Is there any chance you could hook me up with one of those Deserted Island Getaway Packages?" He asked Tom Nook.

"Keep in mind that if you purchase such a package, that you'll have to do a lot of commuting to the studio to host the show every Saturday night, big brother." Lemmy pointed out with a giggle.

Ludwig rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "You're right, Lemmy. On second thought, I think I'm gonna pass on that Deserted Island Getaway Package." He then told Tom Nook.

Tom Nook nodded at that. "No worries, Mr. Ludwig. I respect your decision." He told the blue haired Koopaling.

"Alright, thank you. Anyway, what else is there to tell about the Deserted Island Getaway Package?" Ludwig then asked Tom Nook.

"Well, in addition to Nook Inc.'s real estate development services, the customers who purchase our Deserted Island Getaway Package also get access to our other services, including personal electronics such as the NookPhone, electronic commerce such as Nook Shopping, activity rewards such as Nook Miles, financial services such as the Bank of Nook and of course, our line of merchandise." Tom Nook told Ludwig.

Ludwig smiled and nodded at that. "Alright, Mr. Nook. I'm sure that by talking about your Deserted Island Getaway Package on Saturday Night Ludwig tonight, you've probably got a lot more people interested in living on a deserted island.

"Yes, yes. I certainly hope so, Mr. Ludwig. Nook Inc. is always happy to accept new customers from all over the world who are interested in life on a deserted island." Tom Nook replied with a kind smile.

"Alright. Well, thank you again for being on my show tonight to talk about Nook Inc.'s Deserted Island Getaway Package, and maybe we'll meet again on this show in the future." Ludwig said with a kind smile.

"Yes, yes. Well, I shall take my leave then. I'm a busy man, after all. Take care, Mr. Ludwig!" Tom Nook replied before he got up from his chair and left the stage the way he came.

"What a man. He's got some good business sense to be able to make money off selling people a new life on a deserted island that they themselves can help make into a thriving community." Ludwig said with a smile before turning his attention back to the camera.

"Anyway, time for our next guest! He first rose to stardom as the co-host of the hit reality tv competition series Total Drama, but now, he has stepped out of Chris McLean's shadow and will be hosting a reality tv competition show of his own, known as Kitchen of Doom! And he'll be joining us tonight to talk about this new show of his! Put your hands together for Chef Hatchet!" Ludwig announced as Chef Hatchet walked onto the stage dressed in a black sweater with a white collar, black trousers, black loafers and a black flat cap on his head. He sat down in the brown leather chair in front of Ludwig.

"Hey, Ludwig. Thanks for havin' me on your show, man." Chef told Ludwig with a smile.

"Anytime, Chef! I'm glad you could join us tonight to talk about your upcoming new reality show, Kitchen of Doom! What can you tell us about this new show you're gonna be hosting?" Ludwig asked Chef curiously.

"A'ight, here's the deal: We'll be invitin' between 12 and 20 aspirin' chefs to the Kitchen of Doom, which is a modified warehouse in Toronto, Ontario that houses a restaurant, dual kitchen facilities and a dormitory where the chefs reside while on the show. We'll be breakin' 'em into two teams and they'll be given chef's jackets with their team's color at the shoulder pads. They'll have to compete in challenges, followed by a dinner service, and then they have to face the judgement of their fellow chefs. After each dinner service, both teams'll nominate two chefs for elimination, and the worst of the two'll be eliminated by myself, and then they'll leave the Kitchen of Doom for good." Chef explained to Ludwig.

"Alright, alright. That sounds really good already. What can you tell us about the challenges?" Ludwig then asked Chef curiously.

"Sure. The challenges work like this: During the challenges, a team or individual chef will be subjected to a cookin' challenge. The type of challenges are varied, and can include tasks such as ingredient preparation, meal preparation and taste tests. The first challenge of the season is gonna be a signature dish cook-off, where you can show your your cookin' to me." Chef told Ludwig.

"Alright. Anything else we should know about the challenges?" Ludwig asked Chef as he tilted his head curiously.

"Well, the winner of each challenge will be determined by a score system set for the challenge, or by the opinions of me and/or guest judges. The winnin' team or chef will win a reward, such as a recreational activity away from the Kitchen of Doom and other potential prizes, while the losin' team of chefs have to do a boring mundane task. No fun for the losers on my show, I tell ya." Chef continued to explain.

"Alright, alright. And what about the dinner services?" Ludwig asked Chef.

"Here's the deal with the dinner services: During dinner services, the chefs have to work their stations, appetizers, meat, fish and garnish on the kitchen line to prepare food in coordination with their teammates and my standards for quality and presentation. During the dinner services, the chefs'll be servin' about 100 guests that expect an appetizer, entree and dessert. We'll give the chefs a menu and recipe book for them to memorize." Chef told Ludwig.

"Alright. That all sounds really good, Chef. We'll be looking forward to watching your new show Kitchen of Doom on tv soon." Ludwig told Chef with a smile.

"A'ight, thanks, kid. I'm lookin' forward to hostin' the show too. Well, I gotta go prepare for the show's premiere, so I'll be takin' my leave now. Later, Ludwig. Hopefully I'll be on your show again sometime." Chef smiled and waved and got up before leaving the scene the way he came.

"What a man. I'm glad that he's finally stepping out of Chris McLean's shadow and getting into reality tv hosting himself." Ludwig said with a smile before turning his attention back to the camera.

"Anyway, it's time for tonight's musical performance! Please welcome King K. Rool and his band, The Smashing Kremlings!" Ludwig announced as the curtain behind him opened, revealing King K. Rool and his bandmates on the stage. They immediately began playing.

"Two worlds collide

Rival nations

It's a primitive clash

Venting years of frustrations

Bravely we hope

Against all hope

There is so much at stake

Seems our freedom's up

Against the ropes

Does the crowd understand?

Is it East versus West?

Or man against man?

Can any nation stand alone?

In the burning heart

Just about to burst

There's a quest for answers

An unquenchable thirst

In the darkest night

Rising like a spire

In the burning heart

The unmistakable fire

In the burning heart

In the warrior's code

There's no surrender

Though his body says "Stop"

His spirit cries "Never"

Deep in our soul

A quiet ember

Knows it's you against you

It's the paradox that drives us on

It's a battle of wills

In the heat of attack

It's the passion that kills

The victory is yours alone

In the burning heart

Just about to burst

There's a quest for answers

An unquenchable thirst

In the darkest night

Rising like a spire

In the burning heart

The unmistakable fire

In the burning heart

Just about to burst

There's a quest for answers

An unquenchable thirst

In the darkest night

Rising like a spire

In the burning heart

The unmistakable fire

In the burning heart

Just about to burst

There's a quest for answers

An unquenchable thirst

In the darkest night

Rising like a spire

In the burning heart

The unmistakable fire

In the burning heart"

As King K. Rool and The Smashing Kremlings finished playing, Ludwig and the crowd applauded. "Alright, thank you for performing on my show tonight, King K. Rool and your Smashing Kremlings! And for anyone left watching, I'll see you next time on Saturday Night Ludwig!" Ludwig announced as he parted with a wave.

"This was Saturday Night Ludwig, with your host, Ludwig von Koopa." The announcer signed off.
