After being saved by Tiffania after the battle of Albion , Saito find himself in a small cottage where Tiffania usually lived. He woke up when he heard the voice of his life time partner and most trusted sword Derflinger and the girl who saved his life Tiffania.Later he speaks to her and found that Tiffania was an Elf and also why humans hate elves due to the death of their so called FOUNDER Brimir in the hands of elves . Later he informs her that he isn't from Halkegenia , he is from a world where one moon and no magic called Earth.
"That means you not hate elves right?You not hate me right?".She asked him after listening to his story.
"Yes Tiffa . I don't hate elves.Though I have to admit that when I saw you I was really dead because when I saw you , you really look like a Goddess and I thought i was in Heaven."While saying that he could feel himself he was blushing and after hearing his words Tiffania started to blush madly.
"Moo.. S-S-Saito-san d-don't say s-something like that out of blue."Tiffa stuttered while she was blushing.
"Of course Tiffa you're the most beautiful girl I've ever saw in my Life. Anyway , How much time I've slept Tiffa ? " He decided to ask her though he wondered how many days he slept considering there were no wounds on his body except scars of arrows and burnt marks of fire spells.
"You are sleeping for five and half days Saito-san".Huh five days complete sleeping . She really worked hard in healing me. If not for her I'm sure I'd be dead by injuries or I'd became meals for wild animals.
Then he remembered something.
"Um.. Tiffa. Can I ask you something?".He asked sheepishly.
"Yes . Saito-san? What do you want to ask ?"Tiffa asked him curiously.
"Can you show me where is bathroom? It will be great If I Clean myself and also I'm parched."he shyly asked her making tiffania to let out a giggle.
"Follow me Saito-san. It was outside of the house"she took him to the bathroom and said"Here you go Saito-san . I will bring a towel for you . Ah! Soap and shampoo are available there near the tub in the box ."she said showing where they were kept and left that place to bring the towel .
After completing the bath Saito wrapped the towel after drying himself over his lower body and washed his usual dress .
After that , he hung those clothes to the nearby tree for drying them and then he went into the house. Inside he find the girl who saved him cooking . Upon noticing him the girl called .
"Saito-san ! Lunch is ready . Come here "She pointed towards the dining table to come and eat .
"Hai ! Hai ! Coming Tiffa".As he went near the table he can see some bread and soup . But the aroma of the food make him drool as he smells it , which makes Tiffania to chuckle .
As he sat on the chair he asked her ."Hey Tiffa! Are you the one who make the bread ? "Making her to give him a confusing nod . "Ah! I mean you said you're completely aware from outer world , then how did you get the material for bread and soup . That's why I asked you , nothing else ."
"The food I prepare is completely natural Saito-san . I've prepared them from the herbs and some plants in the forest . All are available in this forest. In that process only , I found your wounded body laying against a tree . Since you are in near death and me being don't know any healing magic other than mending them with bandages , I used my mother's ring on you ."now something snapped in his mind .
"Um..Tiffa , is it ok for you for keeping me in your home ? I mean would not your parents mind if I am here in your home with you alone ? Also where and who are your parents? " Then he regrets for asking the question as he notices the sad look on Tiffania's face.
"No Saito-san , it'll be ok with you to stay here because I was staying all alone since four years . My mother is an elf and my father is the Archduke of Albion ,who controls the Transactions of the kingdom's Treasury . Even though my mother is an elf , my father fall in love with her and made her his mistress ..."she suddenly stopped in her sentence aa she noticed a confused look on Saito's face.
"Mistress?"he asked her confused.
"Yeah. A woman in relation other than wife. Since my mother was an elf , she never got out of a mansion where I used to live with my mother. But one day , my father rushed to the house and said it'll be dangerous to stay in that mansion and took us to this cottage . When we came here , the count of arrival of my father to visit had decreased greatly .I've remembered seeing the back of my mother who was continuously stared at the entrance for his arrival . But one day , something unexpected happened to us . On that day , the King's royal soldiers found our survival in this cottage and attacked . When they were about to come , my mother gave me the wand of my father and locked me in the nearby closet . I can still remember that day . I heard my mother saying ' we Elves do not fight unnecessarily with humans... Ahhh!!!' But was cut off with a scream when those soldiers attacked her with fire spells . And then after killing her they searched for me ..."she continued but cit off by Saito as he says something.
"Did they find you ? Or are you escaped ?Or anyone came to help you ?"he couldn't help but ask her as he slowly takes down her story in his mind. He couldn't help but feel bad for her , since the most kind and innocent Tiffania has such a tragetic flashback.
" No . They eventually found me . But before they found me , everything went blank and some strange runes of spell appeared in my mind . Then after casting that they looked confused why they were here and left this place . If not for that spell I would have been dead already . And after that incident , I've been living alone in this cottage . Due to the spell casted in this area nobody can come here. Even if anyone comes , I'll use that spell to erase their memories and send them out of the forest . All I've here was my mother's memories.."she said as she started crying due to the remembering of her mother's death .
Seeing Tiffania crying , he held her into his chest and started rubbing circles on her back . Then he started
"Sorry Tiffa . Forgive me for making you to remember those bad memories again. Sorry . Also , you are not alone from now onwards. I will be there for you always . So don't cry. From now on I will stay with you . OK ." After he said those words Tiffania slowly stopped crying and rubbed the tears from her face .And asked
"Really ? Will you stay with me Saito-san? "Making him to give her a nod ." But you said you were summoned here . Ah ! I've forgot to ask . Who is your master Saito-san ? I mean what is your master's name ? ."
"My master's name is...I don't know Tiffa. I think I forgot who summoned me here ."after hearing him , Derflinger , who remained calm up to now hearing their conversation decided to speak.
"What do you mean you don't know partner ? Did you really forgot her...Louise. Did you really forgot your master Louise ? "He asked him out of curiosity due to Saito , who loved her the most ,even went to stop that Albion army of 70,000 , saying he forgot her and even didn't know her.
Hearing derf , he confusingly asked : "Who is Lo-uise..Ah! Louise. Who is Louise Derf?" He really can't remember the person who is named Louise. "You are saying like I loved her ?"
"Yes partner . You do loved her ...-sorry did."he broke between his sentence because he noticed the flower of his partner's wedding 'Eclair Damour' was dead . And also at the same time , he remembered the incident during the battle with the Albion army. He remembered Saito laying on the ground lifelessly after the sneak attack of the fire mage.He concluded that when Saito hit his head to the rock , he seems to get amnesia for which he loses the memory of his love.
A.N.Hello readers , here is my fifth chapter of the familiar of zero the Unexpected story. I think you understand why the magical flower died before Saito's death .
