Meanwhile somewhere in a palace in Gallian Kingdom...

There is a man with blue hair and blue eyes sitting on the throne having a glass in his hands with wine pored in it. His eyes showing no emotions as black as complete void . In front of him was a beautiful woman with black hair and dark violetta eyes , was kneeling in complete black robes , covering most of her body completely apart from some transparent cloth which reveal some decent part of her bust . The most considerable thing that should be notice is the glowing runes on her forehead ( ᛗᛁᛟᛞᚨᛁᛏᚾᛁᚱ ) showing that she too was a familiar of void , Mjöðvitnir. (Myoz) .

"What is the result Sheffield . What happened during the war ? I thought it'll take more time to stop. Also according the plan , we sent our troops a bit later than their estimated time . How many people dead ? Is Princess Henrietta alive or not ? Even seeing their deaths may give a pain to my heart or atleast even make me feel ." The blue haired man named Joseph The Mad King asked , plainly without no emotion at all , companion or rather say familiar about the war in Albion , which was started by the organization called Reconquista , contains the nobles who are against the Royal family . But only the Gallian void mage and familiar knew it was established by themselves .

"I'm sorry Your Majesty . None of the civilians or the princess died in the battle , except the Tristain's void mage familiar , Gandalfr. Before the Albion troops reached the port city , the Gandalfr came across the Reconquista's army and nearly killed almost one third of 70,000 soldiers . And 10,000 people were severely injured . Atleast we can say that the boy had bought enough time for their ships to depart . In the end , from the information I've gathered , the Gandalfr is dead in the battle from the combined attack of magic , arrows and cannons . And in the end all it left was a large crater where he fought till his death . Also according to out plan I assassinated the remaining reconquista nobles on my way back here . But maybe when I was on my way back here , it seems I've lost the ring of Andavari in Albion . " The black haired beauty apologised to her master due to the fact she cannot made him feel . And also due to the fact that losing the ring of Andavari of water spirit .

"It's okay Sheffield . It's useless to cry over spilled milk . Though there is no need of that ring for now . So it's Ok . Also do you have any information about Charlotte's whereabouts ? It's been a while I saw her. " The mad king asked his familiar .

"If you say so . Also Charlotte is now currently in Germania . Maybe in a week she will return to the magical academy. Do you want me to give any mission to her master ?" Myoznitirin asked her master in hopes of making him to feel something to remove the emptiness in his heart.

"For now just leave everything Sheffield . When you think everyone seems to recover from the battle , let's chase after other void mages ." Joseph said to the woman I'm front of him .

"Then I'll take my leave your Majesty ." Sheffield bowed to the mad king before leaving him alone in his chambers .

Meanwhile in a forest in Saxe Gotha in Albion Kingdom...

Two people can be seen in the forest near a small cottage . One of them is a black haired boy called Hiraga Saito , also the legendary familiar Gandalfr , who lost the memories of his love during his battle and the other one is a blonde haired girl with pointy ears named Tiffania Westwood, who lost her parents due to the racial discrimination . Both were searching for some herbs in the forest for their dinner .

"Are you sure this is the plant Tiffa ? I think we can take some fruits with us , but why did you insist in herbs ?" Saito asked her about the plant in front of him .

It have been a month since Saito have recovered from the injuries from the battle and decided to stay with Tiffania . Since that day Saito have helped her in chopping wood for cooking and others . Also during this week , Tiffania taught him how to read and write in halkeganian language . Though Saito was average at studies , he learned it very fast . At first he was shocked at himself but later he concluded maybe it's because of the peaceful nature in the forest ..Also he learned about some plants and herbs which are good for eating and also he learned about some plants which are very poisonous that could kill people instantly . Also with the instructions from his ever trusted friend derflinger , he managed to set himself a small ground for training . He prepared some wooden swords , spears , bows and arrows and constructed some wooden posts in the training yard .Though he didn't want to train with spears and arrows , with derflinger insistence he gave up and started training with them . Also for training derf warned Saito not to use him so that his Gandalfr powers not awake and he could strengthen his body more . Also Saito learned from derflinger that the power of Gandalfr will increase exponentially along with his strength . So every morning he used to wake up early and started training in the training yard.Afternoon going into the forest for firewood , evening coming with Tiffania to collect some herbs and in the night they eat the food together and going to sleep . The most important thing he learned in this week is not to stare at the largest if not the legendary chest belongs to Tiffania .

"No Saito-san . Pick the herb from the next plant . The plant in front of you is not useful for food . Also the herbs are for soup . So fruits are not required. If we take fruits from trees , we should eat them today only . Also we don't have more place in home also. "Tiffania said to Saito , as if they not eat the fruits within one day , they will be spoiled and wasted .

'Sigh!!!' "Okay Tiffa ."he said to her after sighing .As he went to pick the herb from next plant , something caught his eyes that rested on the leaf of the plant . As he bent he saw what it is . The thing that was on the leaf is ...

"A Ring?" But he have a feeling where he saw that ring .It was a silver ring with purple colour gem attached in it . Also he could feel some weird aura the ring was emitting . Immediately he picked the ring to his shoulder and ..

"Hey Derf ! Do you know anything about this ring ? I have a feeling somewhere I saw this ring . But I can't remember it . Do you know anything ? Also I have a weird feeling by holding it . " He showed that ring to his sword Derflinger so that he may know something. Since he is 6000 years old , Saito believed that he may know something about the ring .

"Hmmmm...Partner , isn't that the ring we should return to Water Spirit ? I think its name is Andavari or something . " Derf said to his partner in hopes of making him to remember his past . When Saito woke up , he completely said saito's past before battle to him , bit he seems to remember everything from beginning , Guiche's fight to fighting against Albion army , but what he didn't remember is only Louise . He even told his fighting , but why he fought he didn't know . But even though he felt good for Saito to lose memories about Louise so that he could be happy with the kind and innocent half elf , the legendary blade also felt bad for Louise. The sword know very well that his duty was only to help Void mage and its familiar Gandalfr , he couldn't help but feel bad for Saito to be tortured and whipped like that . In all 6000 years , among all his partners except the first one who created him , every others who wielded him just use him like a weapon or a tool for war . But in Saito's case , its completely different . Even though Saito is a stupid , he would care for the people he hold dear in his own way . Not only that , he see derflinger as a person not as a tool , since he remembered the moment against the earth golem of Fouquet the Crumbling Dirt , he hesitated to use him thinking that the old sword might break . Since that incident he started to take a liking to Saito . So now the sword was happy that his partner could be free from unnecessary whippings and explosions of a pink haired witch who punish Saito in jealousy . And now could happily start a new life with the half elf who is not only kind and innocent , but also most beautiful and also has more 'assets' to offer his partner than Louise .

"WHAT??!!! Ring of Andavari ? How is this thing is even here in the first place ?" He screamed as he learned about the thing in his hand .

"What's the matter Saito-san ? What happened here ? You screamed like that ?" The kind hearted Tiffania came running towards Saito almost dropping the herbs they were collected upto now .

"Nothing Tiffa . I found a thing about which I thought I never going to see again . As you see this ring is called The Ring Of Andavari . It has the ability to control the dead bodies and giving them false souls and also it can take control of mind of living people almost equal to hypnotism . Once I promised the water spirit that I'll return it back from whoever that stolen it from the spirit . So I think we should go there to fulfil my promise ." He said to Tiffania about the ring's abilities which he remembered as once Mon-mon said to him . He also remembered his promise to the water spirit which he forgotten before the battle only. But seeing the ring again he remembered about his promise . The only thing he still wondering is how in the world that such a terrifying and powerful ring is here resting on a leaf in the first place . But after thinking briefly , he concluded that whoever that stolen the ring seems to pass by the forest and lost the ring .

"That means you're going back Saito-san . It seems I should be alone again ." Tiffania said sadly looking down to the ground at the thought of living alone again .

When Saito noticed the sad look on Tiffania , he took her into a hug and reassuringly said to her ...

" It's okay Tiffa . It's not like I'm leaving you behind alone while I'm going there . As I said before , now I'm saying again I'll never leave you behind alone . I promise you . It's for sure . So don't cry . If you cry it will only taint your beautiful face . Smile always suits you . So don't cry again . And also who said I'm leaving you here while I go there . I'm also taking you with me to the water spirit. Also It will be good for you to meet her . Since we don't have any resources for a trip , we will go there after a month . Also we need new clothes to wear to go outside . Since we don't have any money , I'll go to the city and find a job there . But what job should I do since I don't have any experience in working other than cleaning dishes ."Saito said to Tiffania making her blush . But in fact he doesn't know anything other than cleaning dishes to earn money as remembered about the time he worked at 'The Charming Fairies Inn' .While he was thinking about possible ways to earn money , derf decided to speak :

"Partner , why don't you go to the city . While you are on your way , there will be some monsters like orcs , goblins roaming here and there and eventually you will come across some of them . Since they are magical beasts , they can be sold at high prices .Most importantly there will be some mages who will purchase them at high costs since it was very hard to capture them. You can say it's like monster hunting after all ." Derf suggested to Saito , so that he could make more money in less time .Since it was only one month left Saito seems to be accepting this .

"I think it's a good idea derf . I think from tomorrow onwards I'll start monster hunting . Since it's a quick way of making money afterall ."Saito too agreed to his sword's suggestion . But as for Tiffania...-

"No Saito-san . It will be dangerous . Orcs weigh nearly one to three tons and they are very worst and vicious when they were hungry . They eat only human flesh and sometimes they eat forest animals . Even if you make money , i think I can't come with you outside of this forest . Not everyone will react as you Saito-san . People will fear of elves and at worse they will kill me the moment they see me . So please understand ." Yes. Tiffania is fearing for not only Saito's safety but also her's too . Since she contains elf blood and pointy ears , the humans will kill her as they did to her mother.

"It's okay Tiffa . But as you see , with my powers as Gandalfr they doesn't matter to me . Also you know , In the battle against Albion army I nearly killed nearly twenty to thirty Orcs at the same time . So there is nothing to worry about me . Also you don't have to worry about you also. As long as I'm alive , I'll not allow even a small scratch on you . Also you can keep on your hat and I'll bring some clothes that cover most of your body and head so that they cover your ears . So it's ok. Also you too want to see the outer world , so think it as a picnic or a tour . You will enjoy yourself when you come with me ." He smiles at her assuringly making her blush a little . As far they could say , Since the day Saito said he will protect her , Tiffania seems to start having feelings for him . But she can't understand what they meant . Similarly , Saito too started to have feelings for her the moment he saw her . Add to her beauty her innocence and extreme kindness making Saito's feelings to grow exponentially day by day.

"If you say so Saito-san ...Okay . I'll come with you . But for now let's go back . Okay?" She asked Saito.

"Okay your highness" Saito bowed to Tiffa mockingly.

And with that they went to the cottage . While Saito was thinking about to purchase some more weapons when he go to the city . While Tiffa was thinking about what to prepare for tonight's dinner .
