Meanwhile at the Magic academy in Tristain...

Two days after Louise de la Valliere kicked both her sisters outside of her room , unable to remove Saito's death over her thoughts , Louise decided to go out of her room. After completing her morning rituals , she dressed into the academy uniform and went outside . At first she thought everything will be back as usual.

But when she came into the academy grounds she noticed the atmosphere. Almost all the students whom Saito were made friends were looking sad . She can see Montmorency is still having some tears in her eyes while Guiche was comforting her . Though from his looks he too is still sad but he was still trying to comfort Montmorency . On moving further she could see Kirche too look sad as she does not have her usual demeanor of flirting with boys or mocking Louise . Beside her Louise could see Tabitha still having her book in her hands with the blank look in her eyes , but if anyone can see clearly she too look sad as she was not reading her book .

When everyone saw Louise , no one came near her as she was the one who is the most grieving person as she was the one who lost her lover familiar . Even if they try to comfort her it will only make her to remind those memories again which make her more sad .

As she was moving to kitchen for getting food , she come across to see Siesta . Siesta was carrying some pies and tea for some students . But she too having a lifeless look in her eyes almost like a zombie , but she was still working like a controlled Golem lacking her usual happy demeanor. As Louise , Siesta also loved Saito . Even though she know he love Louise , she still never lose her hopes on getting him . But when she learned of the choice Saito made even after she gave the sleeping potion , she too can't take it easily .

Not only Siesta , she saw almost all the commoner servants who knew Saito were still sad that their beloved 'Sword' (as they say) was dead to give them safe passage and protect them .

Unable to stand in that atmosphere more time , Louise quickly ate her food and ran off to her room with tears in her round pink eyes . She quickly slammed the door and locked it . She immediately climbed her bed and saw where the pile of hay where Saito slept regularly . But there was no hay as the day when her sisters arrived , Cattleya managed to remove the hay and also took away that wit flower 'Eclair Damour' from the room when Louise slept .

Suddenly , she heared her dorm room's door was opened . When She was about to open her eyes , she felt someone stroke her strawberry blonde hair . Also she felt a pair of hands grabbed her face and wiped away the tears. Then she felt a pair of lips on her forehead and the she hear a familiar voice .

"Don't cry little Louise ." It was Julio surprisingly who said that .

" I know it was a wrong time for me to do this but I must say this to you .I love you Louise . You should move on now Louise . We don't even found the remains of his body or his blade in that battlefield . All we found is there is a large crater completely burned with nothing left behind in the battlefield . Also , On that day Saito gave you to me not only because I'll protect you but he know that I have feelings for you . He know that I love you . If all you do is grieving all the time , his sacrifice will be in vain . I know he too wish for you to move on instead of affecting yourself . If he found out that you haven't go on with your life , he too would be disappointed in another realm . I'm saying this not because I want you to love , it's because I can't see you like this . You should respect his sacrifice and continue with your life. I too hope you can move on Louise. Good Night my dear ." After slowly whispering that Julio left her room immediately and very quietly not to wake her up .

After the Romalian dragon knight left her room , Louise cried all herself again at the thoughts of nothing belonged to him is left . All night she cried herself at how she treated Saito nothing more like a dog , no even less than a dog just because he was her familiar. She cried herself at not being able to confess her feelings to him just because her noble pride would get in the way . She regretted not being able to apologize to him for her treatment . Now she wanted to do all of those . She would throw away her pride to apologize to him and to confess her love for him . But now she can't . She lost him . Just because of her foolish pride getting in her way , to prove her worth , she accepted the rearguard mission . And now all it brought her was the death of her only love . Her first success to prove herself a mage . The first one other than her second elder sister Cattleya who always believed in her . Who always praised and encouraged her despite her failures in magic . She lost everything. EVERYTHING.

And like that by continuously crying for few more hours again , she finally slept . The next morning she woke up with her mind still dizzy she went to bathrom and cleaned and bathed herself . After wearing the uniform , she grabbed her academy cloak and pinned it to her shirt with a Pentagon symbol pin . After spending few more minutes to remove the knots by combing her pink hair , she finally left her room . She then went to the Alviss.dining hall and ate her breakfast. Then she left for her classes which she missed for these five days . As usual the classes continued normally as ever . But what's the difference is none of her classmates started to tease her . But though she was still feeling sad for Saito's death , she still can't get out of the words Julio spoke to her the night before .All.she was thinking is~~

~~'Is it true ?' 'Saito really know that Julio love me that's why he gave me to him?' 'Does really Julio love me.?' 'Did Saito really thought that I could be happy with Julio?'~~

~~were all the thoughts she was getting all the day . Like that with those thoughts were coming to her mind , two more weeks passed . One day finally gaining enough courage she decided to ask him directly about what he said is really true or not that day . So after the classes were completed , she called over Julio to come to her room that night . Meanwhile Julio was thinking why would a girl like Louise call him at night .

As for Louise , she was staying on her bed in her room waiting for Julio . She was still wearing her academy uniform . She was still thinking what and how to ask Julio about her thoughts . As she was in her thoughts , someone knocked the door. The sound of knocking brought her back from her thoughts to reality . She knew who it was as she just simply said 'come in' .Then the door opened and classes as Julio came inside . They stared at each other for a few moments and unable to bear the silence Julio coughed in his hand and said .

"Hmm Louise , what do you want ? You said for me to come here ." And looked at Louise for a reply .

"I just wanted to ask you something . Will you please come here and sit down . It would be rude of me to make my guest standing while having conversation ." Then she patted the side of her bed motioning to him to sit beside her . At her words Julio complied and Louise started again .

"What I wanted to do is just for asking questions to get some answers . Will you answer them honestly ?" Looking at Louise still confused Julio nodded and said .

"I will do everything in my power to answer your questions . By the name of founder Brimir I'm saying this to you ."Hearing the confident words of Julio Louise started asking .

"Do you love me ?" Making Julio to get shocked by the sudden question . In order to confirm her sudden question Julio asked her .

"W-W-What did you say just now . Can you please repeat that again ?"

"I'm asking do you love me ? When you came that night , I'm awake and heard all you have said . That's why I'm asking do you truly love me or just said out of pity ." Louise asked him.

" I love you Louise . I really love you . For the first time when I saw you , I've fallen for you . You can even say ' Love at First Sight ' But knowing that you and Saito love each other , I've no courage to confess to you So I kept my feelings buried inside me .But now , I really really love you my dear Louise ." Finally Julio said .

Without saying another word Louise threw herself at Julio and captured his lips by hers . Due to the sudden kiss Julio not knowing what to do broke the kiss and back away. But as for Louise

"I knew it . I knew it. Nobody will love me . All everyone do is showing pity for me . How can anybody love someone like me . I knew you don't love me . Just get out of here . Get out of my room . Get out . Ge-" Louise balled up her fist and start yelling and pounding on his chest . Her words were stopped as this time Julio is the one who kissed . Instead of moving they just kissed like that all night receiving love from one another and went back to sleep . Even during in their sleep , they just kept themselves in a hug completely. Like that a new love couple formed in that night.
