Chapter Two: Old Memories

Phoenix kept visiting Iris every week, of course, there were times which he couldn't visit her, but Iris was not sad.

Every time he visited her, he would reminisce their past, which Iris would listen and laugh at their silly memories.

Phoenix

"Do you remember when we first had lunch?"

Iris

"How could I forget? It was pretty fun, actually..."

Phoenix

"Hahaha, you think so?"

"Hoo boy! This'll be the first time having lunch with my Dollie!"

Young Phoenix Wright said to himself.

"Though, I have to be more careful with my health... *sniff* Good thing I have a new medicine! I feel better when I use this!"

He took some Coldkiller, and swallowed it.

"A-Ah, Feenie..?"

A gorgeous girl just appeared before Phoenix.

Phoenix

"Dollie! I'm so glad you came!"

'Dollie'

"Of course, I promised, didn't I?"

Phoenix

"I knew you would keep your promise!"

The couple sat on their chairs.

Phoenix

"So, what do you want to eat, Dollie?"

'Dollie'

"Actually... I brought something to eat, homemade mini omelettes, to be precise... Do you want to try?"

Phoenix

"R-Really? That's so great, Dollie! Mmm, I'm sure they're delicious, too!"

'Dollie' blushed.

"T-Thank you, Feenie. Here, let's eat..."

They began eating the homemade mini omelettes.

'Dollie'

"Feenie, if I may say something..?"

Phoenix

"Yes, Dollie? Mm, these are so delicious!"

'Dollie'

"...M-May I get that pendant back? I don't think it fully reflects my love for you, so I want to give another present to you."

Phoenix

"W-Why did you mention this all of a sudden? Besides, I don't think there's anything wrong with this pendant! I show it to anyone I meet, and they all love it!"

'Dollie'

"B-But... I have a better present for you, wouldn't you want something more valuable than that piece of pendant?"

Phoenix smiled.

"Oh, this pendant has a lot of value, don't worry!"

'Dollie' frowned a little, but then she tried to change the subject.

"W-Well, whatever you say, Feenie... A-Also, I noticed something... Are you sick?"

Phoenix

"Yeah, a bad cold again... I really let my guard down when the weather warmed up a little... Thankfully, I have this medicine!"

'Dollie'

"You should try to take care of yourself, Feenie..! O-Oh, by the way, here..."

She gave the young boy a pink sweater.

Phoenix

"T-This... Did you make this? This looks so great!"

'Dollie' giggled.

"W-Well, it's getting more and more cold lately, and I thought about knitting something for you..."

Phoenix

"From now on, I will wear this as a symbol of our love! And to protect myself from the cold!"

'Dollie'

"I'm glad that you liked it, Feenie..."

Phoenix

"I'm sorry I don't have anything to give you back, Dollie..."

'Dollie' smiled.

"Your love is more valuable than a present, Feenie..."

Phoenix

"By the way, I noticed something... Did you dye your hair? Black suits you more, actually!"

'Dollie'

"...W-Well, yes, I tried something different. Thank you for your compliment, Feenie..."

They kept eating and complimenting each other until they realized the time.

Phoenix

"W-Woah, it's already 1 PM?! I have to go, Dollie, I don't wanna be lectured by that old fart again..."

'Dollie'

"It's perfectly understandable, Feenie. I have classes to attend, too. Let's eat again another time, how about Wednesday?"

Phoenix

"That's fine by me! I can't wait to have lunch with you again!"

'Dollie' giggled, but she wasn't ready to go. Not yet, anyway.

"F-Feenie..."

She reached out to him and kissed him from his cheek.

"...Take care..."

Then she left in a hurry.

Phoenix was so surprised, yet so happy about that last part.

"W-Wow! She... kissed me?! We had our first kiss on our lunch! Well, it was a kiss from a cheek, but who cares! I'm never ever washing that cheek again!"

And the lunchtime came to an end.

Phoenix was pretty happy about this, he has a pretty and a caring girlfriend, what could he want more?

'Dollie' had a good time, too. But she failed to get the pendant back. Her sister would press her every time she came home.

"Did you get that pendant back?"

But the answer was same all the time.

"S-Sorry, sis... But, I promise to get it back soon, please give me more time!"

Of course, her sister's patience would run out some time. She was grateful that her sister didn't kill Phoenix, but time was running short.

Phoenix

"I'm glad she's gone. Dahlia, I mean."

Iris didn't say anything.

Phoenix

"A-Ack, sorry if that sounded harsh."

Iris

"N-No, it's alright, Feenie... She knew what was coming, you can't run away from law."

Phoenix

"Yeah, you're right. W-Well, time does fly when you're having fun, huh..."

Iris

"What do you mean..?"

Phoenix

"The visiting times are almost over, dear."

Iris

"O-Oh... I see..."

Phoenix

"I'll visit you later, alright? I have some work to do at the office, I promise I'll come back later! Take care, Iris."

Iris

"Take care, Feenie..."

And the day came to an end.

(Another chapter's here! I'm really having fun writing these chapters, and I hope I'm doing a good job! I hope you like it! I may not be able to update the story often, though. I have exams I must study for. But I'll do my best! Take care, and have a good day/night!)
