Wanda Maximoff and her elder brother Pietro were the only ones that had survived Baron Struckers human trials with the chitauri scepter.

Wanda had power resembling that of telekenisis and energy manipulation while her brother had developed superhuman speed and a higher metabolism to accompany his faster moving abilities.

After the fall of Strucker from the hands of the avengers and Tony Stark, Wanda and Pietro found themselves helping the people around Novi Grad, Wanda could sense something coming and so wanted to ensure that her people were safe.

That was when a small child approached them, stating a 'metal man' was waiting for them in the church, they thought it was Stark and so hesitantly they went to meet the being.

What they didnt expect was an Iron Man that wished the avengers dead and needed both Wanda and Pietro to help his plan come to light, coaxing them with their wish of revenge over Tony Stark after the death of their parents.

They helped him, and it came at a great cost, even when they saw Ultrons rage at Ulysses Klaue they still helped him, they had travelled to Seoul so Ultron could brainwash Dr Helen Cho with the chitauri scepter and help create his Vision, a sentient being made from vibranium.

That was when the plan became knowledge to the younger Maximoff, she layed her hands ontop of the cradle, entering the sentients mind and there it was.

The end of the World.

She had cursed him, setting the doctor free from the control and fleeing with her brother.

They ran and hid until they came across a train that had Captain America inside, facing Ultron himself, Pietro had told her that they should leave, let the Avengers handle it but Wanda couldnt, she felt guilty for allowing this to happen and so they went and helped.

They held off Ultron from Captain America, stating that Ultron had left them with no other choice. He fled and Wanda and Pietro had managed to save some lives as they helped Captain America.

They had learnt that the cradle had been retrieved and to Wanda's horror, Tony Stark would 'Handle it'

Steve saw the fear in her eyes as she warned him of Tony's intentions and so they left, heading to the Avengers Tower in New York.

They had never left Novi Grad, let alone Sokovia.

Once they arrived at the tower, Wanda could sense the being, her eyes went to Pietro and he held her hand as they watched Captain America argue with the other Avengers.

He told them to shut it down and they refused, stating that Wanda could be controlling him, causing Pietro to frown and decide that he would turn it off for them, and so he did.

Wanda smiled at her brothers brass actions, her smile soon faded as his body fell to the floor beneath them, she gasped as she watched the archer hold her brother down, she went to call out her power but was halted by the man that bore the soul of the Hulk.

He hissed in her ear, daring her to give him a reason to rip her apart, but her brother could be in danger, there would be no worse pain than that and so she pushed her power through her body and pushed him back.

She ran to find Pietro but was halted again only this time it was from the figure of the Norrs God that held his hammer high and layed down a plague of lightning into the cradle.

This was it, the end of times.

Pietro ran over to her side and to her relief he was unscathed.

They watched as the being had burst through the cradle and knelt on the edge of it.

Wanda's breath caught at the sight of him.. him?

He looked directly at her for a second and she involuntarily blushed under the gaze. Wait.. why?

She watched as he lunged himself at Thor and everyone took to their fighting stance, she however witheld her power, not entirely wanting to hurt the being.

He glided back towards them, his demeanor was now calm and he finally spoke.

"I'm sorry, that was.. odd, Thank you"

The being nodded towards Thor, who did the same.

She watched as everyone around questioned why Thor helped and what exactly is he, who is he?

Wanda stepped up, eyeing him carefully as she spoke

"I looked inside your head and saw annihilation"

His gaze was soft on hers and her heart skipped as he spoke the words, they were all she needed to hear

"Look again"

She watched as he spoke about how he was on the side of life, of how he would not know if he was a monster and how he wouldn't know if they could ever trust him.

He held the hammer

oh shit

The chorus of everyone's minds were in sync and Wanda felt a chuckle escape her lips, causing her brother to quirk an eyebrow at her.

They all instantly trusted The Vision after that.

While they were suiting up, Wanda found herself lost as she stared at The Vision while he spoke to Thor, she noted the metallic lines that adorned his vibranium skin and the metallic look of his Cape as it billowed in the wind.

He looked at her and she gulped, thankfully the feeling of a jacket getting thrown at her pulled her from her gaze and thoughts of The Vision.

She got dressed and they all entered the quinjet and headed for Sokovia.

During the flight she remained quiet, she didnt dare look at the newly born being for fear that she would lose her composure, Pietro noted his sisters change in demeanor after the birth of The Vision and kicked her ankle, she looked at him and he smirked as he gestured his gaze to The Vision, his smile was playful as he whispered to her.

"d'you like the robot sister?"

Wanda didnt care much for the joke but hissed at the words that Pietro referred to Vision, as she replied.

"He has a name"

Pietro rolled his eyes, he could tell that she already took a fancy to the being.

Wanda kept her gaze downcast, but every now and again she would glance over her left shoulder and smile as she noted Visions presence, he too would be quiet, as though he was thinking, unless Captain America or one of the others would talk to him.

He already looked to be a part of the team she had noted.

Once they arrived at the city of Novi Grad, they each set about their own missions.

Wanda would enter the minds of the civilians and coax them to leave and Pietro would warn the police force and any civilians that Wanda's mind control could not reach.

She didnt take much notice of the other Avengers jobs, she understood that Banner would be searching for the red head spy but other than that, the only soul she seemed concerned about was Vision, he had only been born 12 hours ago and already he was facing a battle. Why did it matter to her?

She entered the minds of anyone she could feel nearby, ensuring that they stood up and began walking, walking as far as they could from the city, find shelter in the outskirts.

She brushed her mind against Vision and found herself wide eyed as his voice vibrated within her mind.

You are doing well Miss Maximoff.

She smiled and nodded, she inhaled deeply and sent out her scarlet waves once more, this time she decided to force the power out as far as it would go. It appeared that having Vision compliment her had given her a confidence boost, and in doing so, she managed to enter more minds.

That's when they appeared, the robots that Ultron controlled the Iron Legion.

They shot their beams at Wanda and Clint, who had been next to her, protecting her while she got the civilians out.

Clint was an expert archer as he took out 10/20 metal suits in the matter of a minute but Wanda's mind faltered as she found herself fearful of the robots and the guilt that she felt for allowing Ultron to do this.

The legion was starting to have the upper hand and Clint grabbed her, ducking themselves inside an abandoned building.

She crawled to a far corner, she was struggling to control her breathing as the full weight of the decision that she had made weighed on her heart, the decision to allow Stark to take the scepter, of showing him his fears that caused him to pursue the birth of Ultron.

She was hyperventilating.

Clint Barton Hawkeye, noted how she was and saw how she was whispering the blame to herself, he sighed and spoke firmly to her causing her to snap from her guilt.

"Doesn't matter what youdid, or what youwere. If you go out there, you fight, and you fight to kill. Stay in here, you're good, I'll send your brother to come find you.

But if you step out that door, you are an Avenger."

She watched as he stood, stating that the city is flying and that he has a bow and arrow and that nothing made sense and then he was gone.

She took a moment to compose herself when the voice of Vision rang through her ears.

Miss Maximoff, are you in distress? She blushed from the sudden concern that the synthezoid showed for her and smiled as she sent out a reply.

I am fine, thank you Vision. She stood and left the building, forcing her power out as she attacked the Ultron Legion, ripping them apart and sending the broken parts into oncoming bots.

Soon enough she and Clint had managed to clear the area and so Pietro came to get her so they could assist near the Church where a gravitational device made from vibranium had been burrowed through the Earth, she listened as Tony explained that they needed to protect it from Ultron as if he touched it then the city would plummet to the ground, causing mass deaths.

They each stood, anticipating the attack as Ultron approached stating that this was exactly what he wanted, all of them against all of him.

The rest was a blur as she focused her powers on dissmembering the bots that dared to approach her, she also protected her brother as much as she could but he didnt particularly need it as he was a blur in the wind.

She noted a bot that had jumped above her

I wont get it in time.at that thought it was gone, a blur or red and turquoise had pushed it away.

Vision heard her desperation and came to rescue her.

She would have thanked him but the bots returned and she was too focused on destroying them, eventually Vision had left the church, forcing Ultron out as a blast of gold shot from the stone on his head.

They were winning.

She volunteered to guard the device from Ultron, stating that it was her job.

She watched as the others left, blasting away a bot as her brother was just about to say that he would help protect her.

She smirked at him and he nodded

She did not need protecting.

She was blasting away the bots when it happened, she felt it.

The shots that tore into his skin, the cold feeling that she felt as his soul left his body and the final thought that rung through his head.

I'm sorry, sister. She fell, her scream was a shriek that carried her powers, ripping any being that was near.

She got up, leaving the device and headed for the metal being that dared kill him, taking away the only person that she had left.

Her mind was humming with a voice but she didnt listen, her grief took control and she headed for the tram where she could sense the form, her powers very much acute to her surroundings as her grief forced a wave of her power to consume her.

He was layed on the floor, unable to move.

She watched as he looked at her, his voice was solemn as he spoke.

"Wanda, if you stay here.. you will die"

Die?She called her power through her fingers, looking at him coldly as she spoke

"I just did.. Do you know how it felt?"

She gripped the metal that she imagined to be his version of a heart and pulled it forth, breaking through his chest and caught by her hand.

"It felt like that"

She watched the light go out in his eyes and fell silent.

The voice was breaking through to her mind again but she pushed it away.

The city began to fall and she did not care, she allowed her body to float up as the ground beneath her began descending.

Arms wrapping around her, pulled her from her suicidal thoughts, she looked at the person holding her and to her surprise it was Vision.

How did he find me? She mused to herself as he flew her out from the tram and away from the city that had now been broken into thousands of pieces thanks to Stark and Thor.

He flew with her in silence, she was unable to speak about the pain that she was currently going through and he did not know how to begin a conversation with someone that had recently lost a loved one.

She noted his facial expression change and finally he spoke.

"Theres one more left, I will leave you with the others"

"No!"

She interrupted and he looked rather confused.

Her voice was a whisper and the frown on her face was apparent.

"I want.. I need to watch him die"

Vision nodded, not entirely understanding why she would need to watch it but took her with him regardless.

He set her down beside a tree and headed to the last Ultron.

Wanda watched and listened intently as they both spoke to one another, she noted the sadness in Visions mind.

"You're afraid." Vision had asked

"Of you?" Ultrons voice held a hint of sarcasm

"Of death. You're the last one." Visions voice was solemn

"You were supposed to be the last.

Stark asked for a savior and settled for a slave." Ultron sounded extremely annoyed at that thought

"I suppose we are both disappointments." Visions smile was soft yet, sad to see.

"I suppose we are." Ultron agreed.

"Humans are odd. They think order and chaos are somehow opposites and try to control what won't be. But there is grace in their failings. I think you missed that." She sensed a thought ring through Visions mind as he spoke and found herself once again curious of the being.

"They're doomed." Ultron contorted.

"Yes. But a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It's a privilege to be among them." His words rung through Wanda's mind as she thought of Pietro and how he did not last, but he was so very beautiful.

"You're unbearably naive." Wanda hissed silently at the words, how dare he say that to Vision!

"Well... I was born yesterday."

She watched as Ultron attempted to attack Vision and with a blast of golden light, he was gone.

Vision reappeared before Wanda and noted her expression, her face was red and very much wet with tears, her hair was matted and she looked broken.

"Miss Maximoff, shall we go back?"

His voice was soft as if he were scared that she might just fall apart.

She looked up, her green irises meeting the mechanical whirrs of his blue eyes.

She nodded and he ever so gently cradled her in his arms, she pushed her face into his chest, burying herself away from the world as she inhaled his scent, trying desperately to deny the truth that her brother was gone as Vision flew them toward the Helicarrier.
