In a region of space, a couple of men were observing Earth from a satellite.

"Moving object confirmed in the Lagrange Point AX moving in the GY position. Estimated to reach Earth in 600 seconds."

"It's not just one."

"No sir. The radar picked up 5 metal objects."

"Zechs is in the atmosphere. Let him know what we found. It's probably some old parts from a satellite or something.."

Hovering the Earth's atmosphere was a big blue spacecraft. Inside it housed 3 men. The leader was shrouded in mystery. His mask was completely white, and the pupils covering his eyes was also white. This was the one they called 'Zechs Marquise'. Nicknamed the Lighting Count he was the poster boy of OZ admired and respected by many soldiers old and young.

"Lt. Zechs. Surveillance is reporting a meteorite."

"Figures. The Satellite Surveillance folks are practically blind. They really think that a meteorite would ride the way of course to enter the Earth's atmosphere?"

"So it's just as OZ Headquarters told us."

"Right. It's Operation M for certain. There's no doubt about it. How many can this carrier catch up with?"

"Unfortunately one." Another soldier answered. "The one heading towards Eastern Eurasia."

"One would do just dandy." Zechs smiled. "A hired frontline soldier mustn't rush into battle."

"That's quite the bold statement, sir."

Zechs chuckled under his mask.

"I told you before. I am a true soldier."

In the blue craft's view, a smaller white plane like object hovered around the Earth.

"All areas functional. We'll commence operations in 7 minutes." Heero spoke aloud.

A sudden beep and the flashing screen caused the pilot to look at another monitor.

"A civilian shuttle."

In the shuttle, an older man and his daughter sat quietly enjoying the trip from the colonies to Earth.

While his daughter continued to look out into space, Vice Minister Darlian decided to take a quick nap. Unfortunately, the voice under the intercom interrupted his slumber a bit too soon.

"Mr. Darlian. The shuttle will soon enter the Earth's atmosphere. Please be sure to fasten your seatbelt and remain seated."

A few seconds after the man glanced at his daughter who seemed to have an unhappy expression on her face.

"What's the matter Relena? Aren't you glad to be coming home to Earth?"

"No. Not one bit." The girl spoke coldly.

"I'm sorry I couldn't spend much time with you. But I'm afraid my work just keeps getting in the way."

"Father. Next time we go to space, how about leaving yourself a little bit of free time?"

After she said this, the two suddenly looked into the window. Something glowing bright. Like a small star.

"Father. What is that?"

Unknown to the two, that 'star' was actually Heero and his aircraft.

"Relative speed to Target 01545." The pilot noted as he pulled on the lever, activating the aircraft's weaponry.

"Engaging auto-lock. Preparing to shoot the obstacle down."

The pilot's sights were on the civilian shuttle but a beep in his craft caused him to reconsider his actions.

"Earth's assault carrier."

The Blue aircraft was following him. He realized this now. If he were to shoot the civilian carrier, it would draw unnecessary attention from the craft. He had to focus on the original mission: arrive on Earth as quickly as possible from OZ's clutches.

Pressing on the thrusters at full speed, Heero tried to escape OZ by directing his aircraft into the atmosphere.

"He's entering Earth's atmosphere. We'll follow."

"I'm finally here. I made it to the Earth." Heero smiled slightly pressing some buttons to change the craft's direction slightly.

"The capsule's direction is of course!" One of the OZ soldiers commented.

"Is he trying to commit suicide?" Zechs asked.

"He must think the only way to keep Operation M a secret is to destroy the evidence!"

"But the capsule's increasing speed. He's trying to break away!"

"How could he? There's no way he could survive that heat!"

"Not necessarily," Zechs interjected breaking the convo between his two coworkers. "Obviously our enemies are very technologically advanced."

In the Civilian shuttle, Relena was able to see the "shiny object" more clearly.

"Atmospheric entry capsule?" Relena commented.

"Operation Meteor." Her father noted silently quickly glancing at the window.

As Heero's craft began to turn redder and appeared to be fried by the Earth's atmosphere, he pressed more buttons. The craft looked like it was going to break when suddenly the parts quickly rearranged themselves.

"Lt. Zechs! What is this?!"

"The enemy's new weapon is a fighter."

"It moves just like a bird."

"We've reached flight altitude. We can proceed to attack."

"Let's wake him with our machine gun."

Unfortunately, Zechs didn't feel like playing nice.

"No machine gun for him. Shoot him down!"

As the blue ship fired a flurry of shots at Heero's suit, the Gundam pilot managed to dodge the shots with ease.

"I'll escape no prob," Heero commented when suddenly another beep echoed in the craft. "Hm? The craft is carrying OZ mobile suits. Judging by its speed, there's probably three suits onboard."

Flipping his vehicle 180 degrees, he pointed the craft's gun at the blue ship. "Rodger that, mission. I'll return right now after shooting down the OZ carrier."

"Enemy fighter has turned around and is heading straight for us!" one of the two OZ soldiers exclaimed, eyes widened.

"Is the Leo ready for battle?" Zechs asked getting up.

"Yes, but you're going with him with the Leo?"

"You guessed it," Zechs answered.

"Wouldn't it better to go with the Aries rather than the Leo? The ground suit's not fast enough."

"My Leo's plenty fast enough," Zechs answered refusing the soldier's advice. "Besides, if it's a fight he wants, I should at least give it my best."

After Zechs got into the Leo, it soon jettisoned out of the blue craft.

"Lt. Zechs, I'll send backup soon after the Aries is ready."

"Roger!"

Unfortunately, Zechs's Leo was too close for comfort to the enemy craft.

"What the! He's above!"

The Leo shot upwards but the shot easily missed the craft. But as soon, as the enemy craft narrowly escaped the mobile suit, Zechs was able to take a clear shot that apparently did some damage to the enemy.

"Left drive malfunctioning! He's good." Heero gritted his teeth as his vehicle slowly decreased in speed.

"Nice shot, Lt. Zechs!" The voice of his coworker filled the Lightning Count's intercom.

"So much for him. That was far too easy." The Lt. spoke in triumph.

Soon two Aries appeared to his aid.

"Lt. Should we go after him with the Aries after you return with the Leo?"

"We'll head after him with the carrier and capture him on foot. It's our only chance at finally learning what Operation M is about."

Unfortunately, Zech's victory didn't last for long as the aircraft then began to transform into an unrecognizable mobile suit: The Wing Gundam.

"Lt. Zechs, what is that?"

"No idea," Zechs answered astonished. I thought only OZ had the ability to create mobile suits.

"Lt. Leave him to us." One of the Aries answered.

"Do it." Zechs answered as Leo moved back while the Aries made their descent towards the enemy suit.

As the Aries fired on the Gundam, it had its back turned to him almost unresponsive. The barrage of firepower and missile hit the Gundam but there was no damage apparent on the machine.

The Gundam glowed slightly.

"He's intense. Perhaps." Zechs commented as soon after the suit moved its head.

"It moved!" The Aries exclaimed.

"Forget about it! Just keep shooting." The other Aries scolded.

Big mistake.

The Gundam turned its body around aiming its buster rifle sending a huge steam of energy towards the two Aries. The two soldiers screamed in terror as both Aries blew up within seconds of interacting with the blast.

"He blew away two Aries with one shot! Not too shabby." Zechs commented as he was now engaging the Gundam 1-1.

Heero laughed a little too sadistically at the death of his enemies but his eyes glared at Leo. "Two down. One more to go."

The Leo got rid of its parachute and charged at the Gundam.

Heero tried to shoot down the Leo with his buster rifle but the Leo narrowly evaded his shot.

As soon as the Leo collided with the Gundam holding it in a lock, Zechs jumped out of the cockpit, his parachute opening quickly.

"Are you alright, Lt. Zechs?" A voice spoke inside his ear.

"Yeah. Sorry to worry you." The OZ leader replied watching the two suit slowly starting to make their descent upon the ocean below. "I did everything I could."

"We ran a complete data analysis on the suit. Apparently, it's made of Gundamium alloy."

"So then.. that was a Gundam!" The Lightning count exclaimed as the two suits hit the Southern Pacific Ocean with a great force. The impact did shake the ocean for a bit but the two suits sank to the ocean floor.

"The mobile suit might be undamaged, but that reckless pilot won't have survived." He continued.

"Lt. The Australian Marina is offering to bring up the unregistered mobile suit."

"Tell them to do as they wish. Tell them it sank in somewhere in the Southern Pacific Ocean. With so many suits underwater, it shouldn't be that hard."

"Yes sir!"

"They offered to bring it up? Ha! There's no bright future for soldiers scurrying for their reward." Zechs scoffed as he reached Australian land.

Meanwhile, Heero blacked out in the Wing Gundam. He and his mobile suit were at the bottom of the Ocean. Can anyone save them?
