(A/N: Here's chapter 6! Enjoy!)

Keke's Circumstance

"WHAAAAAAT?!"

Everyone in the office covered their ears from Keke's screeching.

Keke didn't if the force of her screaming could be heard within a 20 mile radius, or burst the eardrums of everyone in the room. She was in the middle of a panic attack right now. She had much bigger problems. Like being thrown into a fantasy counterpart world, which- by itself- was bad enough. But being thrown in world where modern technology such as cellphones, internet, buses, airplanes, and- more importantly- video games, anime, and manga doesn't fucking exist?! WHAT KINDA HELL IS SHE IN?! WHAT GOD DID SHE PISS OFF TO DESERVE THIS FATE?! A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH?!

She slumped back in the chair miserably, putting her hand up to her face in defeat, and mumbling incoherently. A gloomy, depressed aura emanated from her. She didn't care how she looked to the others. She was in the midst of a major dilemma.

"Are you okay, Keke?"

Bless Al and his kind heart. He seems to be the only one worried about her mental well-being.

"No, Al, I'm not fine," she answered truthfully, silently sniffing, and wiping away a stray tear. She stared around the room, seeing them eyeing her with various looks of concern and skepticism.

Heh. Guess they didn't believe her when she indirectly blurted out that she's from the year 2018. She couldn't blame them. She could hardly believe that she's time traveled back in time to the 1910s. But that antique box called a phone, slow moving trains, and horribly out of date cars proves that somehow, someway she ended up in a Isekai version of the 1910s.

But if God expects to live a new life in a new world without anime, manga, light novels, visual novels, and video games- everything essential and entertainment an otaku needs to survive- he's got another thing coming!

Keke had a compulsive instinct to dig inside her bag, and start reading one of the only manga she would have for the next several months. Hopefully. But she squashed that urge- despite something she does to calm her down when she gets anxious and uneasy- due to everyone's staring.

If nobody's going to say it, she might as well. She knew they were all thinking it. "If this is 1914, how am I going to get home?"

Mustang hummed, brows furrowed, looking at her in disbelieving, calculating eyes. "You say you're from the year 2018, then what were you doing in Liore?" he asked. He was digging for clarification. Initially, a part of him didn't believe she was from 100 years into the future. However, given how… futuristic- for lack of better word- her phone looked compared to how the phones looked here, he might be inclined to believe her tale.

The dark skinned girl straightened her back, doing her best to recompose herself. Remember, she was in the military surrounded by cunning, manipulative bastards. Any weakness… Anything she says or does could be used against in this world's court system. As she explains her story, she had to be careful with her words.

"Well, it all started when I left my house to go for my usual morning jog," Keke said, recounting her day- the day she was mysteriously transported into this world. "That's when I saw my neighbors, and- in that moment- I realized I was in a nightmare. A living hell."

Seeing her expression twist in fear and uneasiness caused lean in with rapt attention.

"They're breeding!" she replied in the most horrified tone she could muster. "And they are reproducing!" A shiver of disgust. "Eww! Disgusting! They were multiplying!"

Their faces deflated. At this point they were all frowning at her.

She's always been an introvert. She rarely liked people. And before people get the wrong idea, and start judging her- like the five people in the room were doing- this isn't the result of her being an otaku. She has always had a distaste for people since she was young. Being an anime, manga, and gamer geeks has not changed that. It has not increased her dislike of other people. It has not caused her to start liking people. Probably why she's an introvert. Although she does have a few friends. Some otaku unrelated. Some aren't. And some of those friends before they became otaku.

Hughes put a solemn hand on her shoulder, making her turn her attention on him. "First of all, you shouldn't refer to the 'miracle of birth' as 'breeding' or 'multiplying'," he began to scold her. "And second-"

"Yeah, yeah," the dark skinned girl waved him off dismissively. "Can I get back to my story?" She continued anyway without waiting for a response. "So I called up my friend so I could go hang out in her place because if I stayed any longer my neighbors would start producing young by the boatloads. Then my neighborhood would start to become infested."

She paused for a moment to calm herself, ignoring everyone's judgemental looks and glares.

"Yada, yada, yada… I ended up in this world."

"How did you end up in this world?" Mustang asked.

Keke shrugged, scratching the side of her head. "I don't know. There was some sorta magic circle. It glowed and here I am."

"A transmutation circle?" Edward piped in alarmed.

The force of his voice surprised her for a minute. She pondered the question for a moment before shrugging her shoulders ago. "I don't know. I guess so. It was a big circle with a weird design."

Everyone in the room- except her- were giving each other suspicious and knowing looks as if they were silently burning this information into their brains.

"That's how I ended up in Liore," Keke continued, wondering if she should stop the story or keep going on. Somehow she felt that they should know more, so they should have more to go off of if they were planning to help her with this dilemma.

"When my cell phone didn't work," she held up her phone emphasis, "I got really frustrated. Luckily, I met a girl named Rose. She was a sweet girl. It's too bad I didn't care enough about her to listen to what she had to say. She told me about this priest, Cornello, who can grant miracles. She said that he could help me, and I tuned her out after that."

"I thought you and Rose were friends?" Alphonse questioned with a tilt of his head.

The dark skinned girl shook her head. "She was just some girl I met." She leaned back in the chair. "She told me to wait inside the Church of Leto as she makes an appointment for Cornello. And that's when I met him," her voice dropped down into a dry, annoyed tone. She grabbed a thumb in Ed's direction. "This… This clown!"

Edward glared at her, but she ignored him.

"This guy comes up to Rose and starts shoving his opinions down her throat, and all I could think was that this guy is a freaking clown. A complete and total tool. This guy must've gotten beaten up a lot in kindergarten and 1st grade."

At this point, the blonde alchemist was shooting death glares at her. Mustang and Alphonse were both snickering at him. He glared at both of them. The Colonel merely smirked, and Al tried to silently apologize to his brother between his fits of giggles.

"'Yada, yada, yada ya! Science is so awesome!'" Keke mocked Ed, intimating his voice. "'Yada, yada! Pick up a science book! Yada, yada, yada! I'm part of the occult! Yada!'" She resumed her normal tone, but more exasperated. "What the idiot! The whole conversation was stupid! The whole argument was complete stupid and pointless because THE WHOLE WORLD IS GONNA BURN TO THE GROUND ONE DAY! NONE OF US ARE GOING TO HEAVEN! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN, YOU ARE GONNA GO TO HELL EITHER WAY! NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, YOU CAN'T BE SAVED! HUMANITY'S A LOST CAUSE! HELL- IN FACT- MILLIONS OF PEOPLE DIE A YEAR! EVERYBODY IN THIS ROOM IS GOING TO DIE! WE LIVE JUST TO DIE! THAT'S IT! IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER BECAUSE WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE IN AN ETERNAL PIT OF FIRE ANYWAY!"

After her frustrated tangent- while she was regaining her breathing- she noticed everyone's weirded out expressions and looked at her as if she had gone crazy. Part of her crazy rant may have been from the revelation that she was stuck in the past of a different world with no idea how to get home. It was driving her insane just thinking about it.

Ed was the first to break out his stupor. "Wow. And Al calls me dramatic and pessimistic," he remarked with a sarcastic quip.

"It's not my fault that your science vs. religion argument with Rose was mind-numbingly boring," she groaned tiredly. "God, I was waiting for someone to throw the first punch."

"You were waiting for the fighting to escalate?" Hughes deadpanned.

She nodded her head enthusiastically. "Yes! Yes! Fight! Fight! Kill each other! Bloodshed!" Keke shouted in maniac glee.

Mustang eyed the Fullmetal Alchemist as if it was his fault she was here. "And you brought this girl here without knowing who she was first, Fullmetal?"

"How were we supposed to know how crazy and twisted this girl is?!" Ed yelled defensively.

Keke smirked, "Oh? You think I'm pretty and twisted?" she smiled proudly.

Ed sputtered. "Who the hell said you were pretty?" he shouted angrily.

The Colonel sighed, pinching the bridge of the nose. He eyed the girl's bag. Honestly- for awhile now- ever since he saw her cellphone, he's been curious about what other futuristic things she may be carrying.

But- more importantly- getting a glimpse of the girl's true nature, he was worried and skeptical if the girl was carrying anything dangerous on hand.

"What's in your bag?" he asked.

"What?" Keke stared at him dumbly in the midst of laughing.

"Empty your bag," he repeated in an authoritative.

The dark skinned girl scowled, practically glaring at him.

(A/N: That's it! The end of the chapter! I know it's short, but I wanted to hurry and get it over with in time for Christmas. There were some things I wanted to add- such as Keke's mockery of science and her concern of Al's lack of… "sexual organs"- but I'll save it for next chapter. Seems more appropriately. Just another chapter of Keke's interrogation, and then I'll decide afterwards if Keke should travel with Ed and Al, or stay and "join" Mustang's crew. Though it's leaning more towards the former. Leave any comments and questions in a review, and thanks for reading! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!)
