The Chocolate Brown-haired teen is staring at her reflection in the mirror for quite some time now. she is wearing a cute white sleeveless top and a black skirt which reached just above her knees. she sighed and took a deep breath.

" Hilary" her mom yelled from downstairs.

" Coming mom" Hilary yelled back. and went downstairs into the kitchen. then, she sat at the dining table. Ruby eyes of a lady in her early 30's are getting concerned to see her daughter less enthusiastic in the morning.

" Is something wrong, Sweetie?" her mom asked in a sweet yet worried tone. Her daughter didn't respond. The lady gently shook her daughter's hand " huh? what mom" Hilary asked obliviously. " I asked you a question," she said getting worried about Hilary's unusual behavior. She is always cheerful in the mornings.

" I am sorry mom, I didn't heard you," she mumbled. " It's okay, I was just asking you if everything is alright, you seem so low today," her mom said placing her palm on her daughter's cheek and caressing it gently. Hilary smiled "Everything is okay mom" she assured

" I am your mom don't try to lie," she said, worry evident in her voice.

"It's nothing, mom really," she said finishing her breakfast. " I have to go now, mom! before Kai punishes me again" she said hurriedly getting up for her chair. " What? Hilary" before she could ask any more questions. Hilary was gone, " Kids these days" the Ruby-eyed lady sighed.

On the way to Granger's Dojo. The chocolate-haired teen was thinking about yesterday's events, I still didn't understand, why Tyson looked at me when Ray asked if he likes a girl. I only once thought he likes me when I and Kenny got kidnapped by that black-suited men. But then again, now I have to act as If I like him. I really don't have any experience in doing all these things. Why did I even agreed to him? God... What I have to do now? Okay, I'll do it in this way, I'll nicely wake Tyson and serve breakfast for him, and a little sweet talk is... enough. But this is too much for that lazy champ, anyway I have no other choice since I already agreed to him. she sighed.

The Ruby-eyed brunette, however, reached the Grangers Dojo. Which made her trail of thoughts fade away. As she stepped into the Dojo and went to her teammate's first. she saw the most unbelievable thing happening in the world. Her Ruby-orbs widened in shock. Tyson Granger, the three-time world champion is awake and is practicing with his beautiful Dragon. maybe mom was right! something is wrong with me. she thought. Kai noticed the girl's presence but he ignored it like he always does. But her Other teammates did, " Hey, Hils" The hyper blonde youngster greeted her.

but she didn't react, she was still in shock. Tyson, Kenny, and Ray looked at her, " Hey, Hilary! Morning!" Ray greeted her smiling. There was no response from her. Tyson went near her and held her shoulder loosely and gently shooked her. His touch sent shivers upon her spine. she quickly came out of her trance and gently released her shoulder from his grasp.

" What happened Hils," he asked, his chocolate brown eyes showed concern. At first, she believed it. But then the realization hit her, he was just acting. Great, Tyson, just Great. seems you have other plans. she thought. she placed her palm on his forehead in a playful manner. she was trying hard not to laugh." Are you Okay, Tyson," she asked faking a worried voice.

Tyson's face went blank "What are you talking about?" he asked shaking his head. " No, Tyson it's just that you are on time to practice today. no pigs are flying in the sky Right!" she said dramatically gazing at the sky. " Not again" Ray sighed and max nodded. she is not making it any easier the navy blue-haired Blader thought. "Very funny Hilary!" He laughed much to everyone's surprise, Hilary joined him too. " By the way, you're looking pretty today" He winked. Hilary felt her cheeks getting heaten up and she blushed in a unique shade of red colour. And as for the others, they gaped at Tyson as if he is mad or something." Maybe, the world is really going to end Maxie". Ray whispered into max ears. " yeah Ray" the blonde whispered back to him.

"uhh... umm... Thanks Tyson" Hilary shuttered, while trying to hide her blush. man! she really looks pretty while blushing...no what am I thinking I was supposed to act. Tyson thought.

" Are you done, Tyson! or I have to wait for some more time" came Kai's voice. " huh? yeah coming, Kai" Tyson said. Kai was waiting for Tyson since Hilary came, they were supposed to have a practice match actually. Before going he whispered " I never know you can actually fake a blush hils" He smirked. she shrugged and went to sit beside Kenny to help him analyze the team stats.

That's it, he doesn't like me. he was just pretending, but then again why does my heart say that he isn't lying. How dump Tyson is to even think that I can fake a blush. she rolled her eyes at the thought.

" Go Dragoon" Tyson yelled.

" Not Good enough Tyson," Kai said cooly. " Dranzer, Blazing gigs" Kai ordered he's Phoenix Bird. "Dragoon Evolution storm" Tyson called his special attack. Both the Blades collided with each other ferociously, and It was a tie."Oh! Man, that was a close one, you were lucky Kai" Tyson said in I am-The-Champ tone. Kai just rolled his eyes and shrugged. will this guy ever grow up? he thought to himself.

" Who told you guys to use your special attack's, it was just a practice match, What if you get injured" Hilary fumed up in her bossy tone.

" He started" Tyson, pointed towards the Captain. Pouting innocently. Kai gave a death glare to Tyson, to which he flinched. and then a smirk appeared on the Captain's lips." I was just checking your concentration, Tyson," He said. Tyson was taken aback, he simply stared at his Captain " what's wrong with my Concentration Kai," He asked cluelessly. The half Russian took a glance towards Hilary and shrugged." I don't have time for your silly questions, Tyson! Max and Ray it's your turn to battle" he announced leaning against a tree doing his World famous pose. Both Tyson and Hilary understood what Kai actually meant and blushed.

After Max and Ray finished battling, they all agreed to take a break.

" You're all tired, let me get some drinks for you guys" Hilary announced getting up from her position beside Kenny and freely went inside the Granger's kitchen.

"So?" the American said, after making sure that Hilary was gone.

" So, What? Maxie" inquired the champ. not knowing what the Draciel wielder is implying on him.

" All that pretty thing Tyson" Max grinned. Tyson's cheeck's turned pink. Man! I was supposed to act like Hilary is doing. not blush as if I really like her. he thought and shook his head.

" yea Tyson, what's going on between you two" Ray smirked.

" is it a crime to say a girl is pretty," Tyson asked. Kenny the chief who was silent till now stared at Tyson " Huh? Tyson, as long as I remember. you didn't even agree with me when I said Hilary is cute" Kenny stated.

" Well... I changed my mind," he said yawning in a bored tone.

" who wants drinks" Came Hilary's voice. she was holding a tray in her hands with some drinks in it.

" Me" Tyson hurried towards Hilary. and grabbed a glass from the tray. Hilary glared at him, and then she smiled. The others were actually expecting an argument.

" What? no argument" the American blonde asked. his eyes widened in shock. The Navy-haired champ smirked, this is what he wants after all." What maxie! are you missing our argument so much" he asked chuckling.

" Nope!" the American shook his head.

" Whatever you say, Max " The champ grinned. Hilary served the drinks to others and sat beside Tyson.

" Seems our plan is working Hils" he whispered to her. Hilary rolled her eyes and nodded. After the training, Hilary and Kenny decided to head back to their homes.

Tyson's Bedroom

The navy-haired world champ seems so restless. he is trying hard to sleep, but he can't what actually happened, me and Hils didn't fight even for once today, I don't know about others, but iam missing it so much. I don't even understand what happened to me. I was supposed to act... but I didn't. thinking, he slowly went into the dreamland.

Hilary's Bedroom

The same is happening with the Ruby-eyed brunette, she was shifting her position in her bed so restlessly, How good of an actor Tyson is. I was supposed to act just like him... but I didn't. ahhh How I miss fighting with Tyson. thinking she dozed off.
