.The Little Things I Miss About You.
TyKa

*Clicks Her Knuckles.*

Let's get some TyKa back onto this scene ;).

Beep. Beep. Beep.

And there it was. The sound of that dreaded alarm.

Kai raised his head from the pillow and fluttered his eyes open to set his sight on that noisy gadget. He switched it off and then rolled back over across the bed to notice that it was colder and emptier than usual.

'Oh yea, I forgot, Tyson isn't here for a week.'

A whole-hearted huff fluttered out of Kai's lips. But that disappointment soon faded when Kai realised that he could start the day without waking up in a pool of Tyson's warm and fresh dribble patches.

'That used to bug me now and then.'

After he took a deep breath to stabilise his mood, Kai's mind then latched onto the scent that was embedded within the sheets. It thrived through his nostrils to prompt his memory of those breath-taking nights that the two lovers would spend together.

Tyson's natural aroma would stain Kai's flesh for hours and this would often send a delightful shiver down his spine. It reminded Kai that he Tyson will always stick around. He's so reliable and

Besides, the Hiwatari could sense that his boyfriend was probably taking this scenario much worse than he was.

Now half awake, Kai sat himself up and pushed himself to the edge of the bed. Weirdly, his feet were touching the floor, they weren't greeted by any empty food wrappers or clothes. Usually Tyson would feast after a love making session to make up for the calories that he'd lost, or he'd just strip off to avoid the thought of being too hot in bed.

Either way, Kai couldn't understand why he felt half empty to feel this sensation. A warm smile sketched itself across his lips and he nodded his head to shake away this unfamiliar craving that he was experiencing inside his heart – he was missing Tyson.

He rose up, made the bed and then trotted off to the bathroom. But before he closed the door behind him, Kai took one more final gaze at the bed to notice that there wasn't a pair of big brown eyes beaming at him – they usually were the signal to say: 'Oh, come on Kai, come back to bed. Don't go to work today.'

But today, there was nothing but his own shadow.

It had finally sunk in that Tyson wasn't here. All that was left were the fresh memories that the pair had created together in this isolated fortress.

'Fuck you Mr Dickinson. I hope you're enjoying your time in Japan, Tyson. Training the next generation to take on the world.'

Even so, that was enough to keep Kai motivated to start the day. He closed the door behind him and turned on the shower to get the water flowing. Once it had reached the right temperature and Kai had stripped off, he was caught offguard by his reflection in the mirror.

'Tyson's bite mark hasn't faded yet. That animal.'

He thought to him as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Kai was dying to laugh, but again, he shook it off and stepped into the shower to freshen himself up. When he'd finished, Kai wrapped a towel around his waist and trotted into the bedroom.

Still there was no Tyson and this this made his stomach wrenched with displeasure.

'How can a man like him have such a big impact on my life?'

Kai dried himself off and then paused midway through the routine. He could feel Tyson's breath brushing against his neck. This made Kai's crimson eyes narrow like a hungry predator; he was withdrawing from his Granger.

But when he turned around to snog the life out of the champion, he wasn't there.

The wrench in his stomach grew stronger and Kai's heart skipped a beat. That's when he finally admitted defeat and crawled across the bed to pick up his mobile phone. Before he could dial Tyson's number, he saw a message from his boyfriend appear across the screen.

'Morning handsome! Have a good day! I miss you!'~

Within seconds, Kai had calmed down into a relaxed state. He tilted his head aside and opened the message to reply to him: 'I miss you too, Tyson.'~

To that one guy – I miss you.
