Before leaving the café, Ren made sure to say goodbye to both Sojiro and Sumire. Collecting Mona in his bag, he nervously guided his parents to Shibuya. While on the train, he silently typed out the situation that had taken place before showing it to Morgana. The cat was worried to say the least. Wishing Ren good luck, he retreated inside the bag, hoping nothing else would go wrong throughout the day.

The train ride to Shibuya was tense to say the least. Ren could feel his mother's worry and worse, he could feel his father's impatience. While Masato Amamiya was often known to be lighthearted and playful, he knew when to become serious. Furthermore, anyone who knew him could tell that if he was serious, then the situation was no laughing matter.

When they finally got off at Shibuya, Ren guided his parents back to central street where the three of them had previously eaten dinner; however, upon exiting the station, Morgana popped his head out of Ren's bag. "Hey, look over there."

Ren turned his head to see Toranosuke Yoshida giving a morning speech to the passersby. "What is it?"

"If Yoshida is here, then why don't we wait around until his speech ends so we can give him his calling card?" Morgana inquired.

Ren pondered the idea for a moment before his father interrupted his thoughts. "What is it? You better not be trying to think up some way to get out of this."

"N-No, that's not it. I just… wanted to listen to Mister Yoshida's speech." He said, pointing to the politician. "I used to listen to them all the time when I lived here."

"Yoshida, huh? I like his ideas, but… No, no detours. Take us to this shop now."

"Just five minutes, Dad."

Masato rubbed his forehead and sighed heavily. "Fine, but no more than that."

The three of them joined the small crowd listening to Yoshida. As the speech continued, all Ren could think about was how he was going to give Yoshida the calling card. He had originally intended to pickpocket the card onto the politician while he grabbed lunch at the beef bowl restaurant that the two had met at, but that wasn't an option now. Luckily for him, he didn't need to worry.

"Good people of Japan, thank you all for listening to me. I will be back shortly as I must rest a moment and replenish my energy." Yoshida announced, much to the dismay of the crowd. At first, Ren was also disheartened, but he figured he'd just have to double back to him later in order to deliver the calling card.

He turned around to face his father and nodded solemnly. "I guess we only caught the end of his speech. It doesn't matter. Let's get going."

"Oh, I see." A kind voice rang out. "You come all this way to listen to my speech, but I end it early just so I can talk to you, and you have to leave." Ren turned around to see Yoshida smiling warmly at him.

"Mister Yoshida…" He said surprised. "It's good to see you again, sir."

"'Sir'?" He asked. "How quaint." He said with a laugh. "It's good to see you too, Ren." He said, moving in to wrap his arms around the young man."

"R-Ren? You know Mister Yoshida?" His mother asked.

"It's… A bit of a long story." He answered.

"Long story?" Yoshida repeated. "Hardly. I take it that the two of you are this fine young man's parents."

"Y-Yes, Mister Yoshida." They both said with a bow.

Yoshida laughed heartily. "There's no need to be so formal. Since your son seems to be so dismissive, allow me to explain how we know each other." Ren, for no reason that he could fathom, developed a pit in his stomach. "Your son here began assisting in my campaigns last year during his probation."

"Hold on a moment, you knew about his situation and still let him help you?" His father asked.

"Well, I actually didn't learn about it until after I could no longer accept help from him, but I did know that he had suffered some sort of injustice. Regardless, your son helped me in more ways than one. Namely, he helped me overcome my own insecurities. I'm not sure if you're aware, but my name is, or rather was up until recently, blacklisted among the political community. In my youth, I did things that I'm not proud of, but your wonderful son here helped me get over all of that. He showed me how to not be tied down by my past and instead move forward so that I may work towards a better tomorrow."

Both Masato and Kimiko looked at Yoshida with wide eyes. Not necessarily surprised that their son was such an upstanding boy, but rather that a politician, well liked or not, would speak so highly of him.

"I'm glad that we've met here today." Yoshida said. "It's given me the perfect opportunity to thank the two of you for raising such a strong and respectable young man." Yoshida bowed down before the parents, nearly giving the two of them, as well as Ren, a heart attack, though Ren's was more out of embarrassment for the unwarranted praise he was receiving.

As he rose from the bow, he gave them another warm smile. "Apologies to the both of you, but if you would allow it, I'd like to speak with your son in private for a moment."

Masato and Kimiko both silently nodded, their mouths hanging agape as the two of them walked off to talk by the station entrance.

"Mister Yoshida?" Ren asked curiously.

"I'm glad to have run into you like this." He said exhaustedly. "I've been having a problem lately. You see, I've been having these… These nightmares-"

"Let me stop you right there, Mister Yoshida." The former Phantom Thief said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a red calling card. "Here, take this."

"A-A calling card?!" Yoshida blurted out. "Are you going to change my heart?" He asked nervously.

"Of course not. I couldn't, even if I wanted to." Ren explained. "There's an address and time on the card. Meet me there tonight. There will be a few others there, but don't worry. They all know who I used to be. I'll explain it all there."

Yoshida sighed with open relief before pocketing the card. "I see. Thank you, Ren. I'll see you tonight. Right now, I should get ready for my next speech."

"I understand. Good luck, Mister Yoshida." He said with a bow.

Returning to his parents, he found the two of them talking about Yoshida and the absurdity of it all. It took a moment before he managed to convince them to drop the questions and continue on towards the gun shop. The two had acrually completely forgotten about the gun after Yoshida had spoken to them, but quickly corrected their priorities after their son reminded them.

Leading his parents to central street, and later down a back alley, the two were none too pleased. The dank atmosphere was worrying, but they bit their tongues and continued following their son, deciding not to question him after the politician's glowing endorsement.

Entering into Untouchable, the two were greeted by a man with a voice like sandpaper. "Welcome," He said, not even looking up from his magazine. "Feel free to take a look around." He said unenthusiastically.

Ren cleared his throat and smirked. "I'm here for the special menu."

The man dropped his feet from the counter as well as the magazine in his hand. "Ren?"

"How's it going, Iwai?"

The gun shop owner chuckled with a cool smirk. "Better now that you're here. It's been too long." Iwai walked around the counter before embracing Ren strongly. "It's good to see ya, kid."

While the scene should have been heartwarming, Ren's parents could only think otherwise. Before them stood a rugged, tattooed man, embracing their son like he was his own. Kimiko tightly wrapped her hand around her husband's arm. "H-H-H-He l-looks like he's in t-the Yakuza or something."

Iwai visibly stiffened at her words, only now acknowledging their presence. He released their son and stood up straight. "And what if you're right, huh? Who the hell are you two anyway?"

The two of them stiffened up even more, unsure if they could even move. Ren smacked Iwai on the back of the head nonchalantly. "Quit trying to scare my parents. You're not making this situation any better for me."

Kimiko and Masato both had frozen screams plastered on their face after witnessing their son assault this Yakuza thug. Iwai, however, was shocked. "Wait, your parents?" He asked looking at the terrified couple. He stood up straight once more and bowed. "Sorry about that. I thought you were just some meddlesome assholes, comin' here to annoy me. Name's Munehisa Iwai. Nice to meet you."

The two of them practically melted into the floor at how much more subdued the shop owner became at Ren's behest. After explaining the situation to Iwai, the ex-Yakuza couldn't help but laugh.

"My guns? Real? I gotta say, I'm flattered you think so."

"You are?" Ren's father asked.

"'Course." He said. "Model weapons are supposed to look real, so if you thought they were actual guns, that means I did a good job." Iwai turned his attention back to his pseudo-protégé. "You know, I'll bet Kaoru would love to meet up with you after school, he's missed havin' his bro around."

Ren's parents both looked at each other, trying to figure out what Iwai had meant by 'bro'. "I'd love to, but I've got plans all day, and we're only gonna be here a short amount of time."

"That's a damn shame." Iwai said, disheartened. "Well, anyway, while you're here, I've got something I wanna show you in the back. Come on."

As they all began to move to the backroom, Iwai stopped Masato and Kimiko. "Sorry, but employee's only back here. Them's the rules."

Ren looked pleadingly at his parents, and the two of them, much to his surprise, both nodded in agreement, allowing him to go without them. He smiled and followed Iwai, closing the door behind him. "So what is it you want to show me?"

The ex-Yakuza dropped down into his chair and looked Ren dead in the eyes. "I think we both know this ain't about model guns."

"You want to talk about the nightmares, right?"

"Yeah," Iwai nodded. "I figured that's why you showed up. Don't know why you brought your folks though…"

"I was forced to, remember?"

"Right." Iwai dismissed. "Anyway, mind explaining why I can't sleep anymore?"

"Take this." He said, digging another calling card from his pocket. "There's an address and time on there. I'll be explaining it to everyone tonight." He said, crossing his arms.

Iwai took his time reading the card before looking up at him. "Who's everyone?"

"You're not the only person who was helping us last year. And you're not the only person who's been talking to me about nightmares involving a blood red sky."

"What about the Phantom Thieves fighting a giant fucking monster?"

"No one put it as colorful as you did, but yeah. They're all having these nightmares. The rest of the Phantom Thieves and myself will be explaining everything. I promise.

"The rest of 'em, huh? You sure it's okay for me and whoever else is coming to meet them?"

"We've disbanded, and we can't do our job anymore, so they can't hurt our operations. Moreover, I trust everyone coming to this meeting with my life."

Iwai stuffed the card into his pocket and huffed. "If you trust them, then I trust them. But. I've got a question." Iwai began shifting in his seat. "Well… More of a request." He said, crossing his arms and looking down at the floor.

"What is it?"

"I want to bring Kaoru with me. He doesn't know about you or anything, and he hasn't been having any nightmares, but he's my son. And you're also his bro, so I think it's only right to have the whole family attend this little meeting of ours."

"I'm fine with that, but I'd appreciate it if you explain everything to him before you arrive. This is going to be a long and intense discussion that's going to shake up everyone's worldview. I don't think we'll have time to deal with Kaoru processing who I really am right then and there."

"I understand. I'll close up shop early to pick him up from school. I'll tell him everything after we get home."

"Thanks, Iwai." Ren smiled. "Also, thanks for knowing to bring this conversation into the back,"

Iwai sat back in his seat and let out a quick laugh. "I was keeping who Kaoru's parents really were for so long that I can tell when someone's hidin' something from a mile away. Now go on and do what you've gotta do. I still have a few hours before I close up shop and pick up Kaoru."

With that, Ren left the backroom and exited Untouchable with his parents in tow. His original plans having been ruined, Ren figured that he might as well go around to the rest of his friends and give them their calling cards. It'd be difficult to hide everything from his parents, considering that his plans were going awry so soon into initiation, but he was confident he'd be able to keep things under wraps.

"Come on, I want to show you the rest of the city. Next stop: Inokashira Park."
