It all started as a normal shift. The occasional Karen calling the police on kids for breathing wrong. Or stupid shoplifters or wellness checks on crazy grandmas. It was a standard patrol for Jean.

"X13 we have a 10-80 pursuit on interstate 5 heading towards Compton. Vehicle description is a large silver van occupied times " said dispatch requesting units
Crime had gone up as a new gang war started between Australian gangs and multiple African American gangs for turf.
This war led to violent gang clashes in the projects.
Multiple innocent people have been caught in the crossfire. Some sets even targeted law enforcement and federal agencies who attempted to intervene. High ranking cops even being targeted.
"This is 1 x ray 55 I'm en route code 3" Jean said into his radio
Jean flipped on his lights and sirens
The closer he got the louder other sirens became and the more intense the dispatch call outs got.
Officer 1: ALL UNITS BE ADVISED MULTIPLE VEHICLES BOXING IN COUNTY UNITS ON SOUTH DAVID STREET!
Jean: 10 - 4 eta 2 minutes! Sit tight!
Sheriff 1: SUSPECTS HAVE FULLY AUTO AK'S! Requesting swat support! 41722 SOUTH DAVID!
Sheriff 2: UNITS UNITS BACK OFF BACK OFF FROM THE SUSPECTS, FORM A PERMITTER AND RETURN FIRE WHEN READY
Bandit: 10-4 swat en route code 3
Bingo: all units proceed with caution
Officer 2: MULTIPLE OFFICERS DOWN SHOTS FIRED!
when Jean made it to David street a line of beat up rusty cars surrounded multiple officers in the intersection! Bullets began to be fired at his vehicle he swerved into a defensive position and ducked down.
It was a trap. The gang van led the police there to kill as many as they could.
He crouched and ran to the back of his car a furious gunfight taking place right next to him.
He opened his trunk and grabbed his ar15 luckily the trunk door absorbed the bullets.
He peaked over and fired multiple shots hitting a gangster.
"ONE SUSPECT DOWN!" Jean yelled
"WATCH CROSS WATCH CROSS!" Said bingo making sure that officers don't get caught in the crossfire
Bingo and bandit came in with a filled armored and heavily armed swat truck.
Swat teams surrounded the gang blockade rifles and shot guns in hand.
The gangsters dropped their weapons and surrendered after a fierce skirmish
"KEEP THEM HANDS UP OR I WILL HURT YOU BIG TIME!" Jean furiously yelled
"GET ON YOUR KNEES!" Bingo yelled
"HANDS ON YOUR HEAD! FACE AWAY FROM
US!" Bandit commanded.
Swat moved in and put the suspects in cuffs.
Bandit: multiple suspects in custody requesting 10 52's (medical)
Dispatch: 10 4
Soon multiple ambulances and fire engines showed up.
"so what happened here." Chloe's uncle Doug asked
"these scumbags made some kind of blockade in the middle of the street and tried to kill as many of us as they could..." Said Jean shaking
"Wow" Doug said surprised
"yup tagged one to. Center body mass." Said Jean
"no remorse huh" said Doug as he checked Jean for wounds
"after these many years it's fading slowly" said Jean with a cynical Chuckle
"ok then. I'm gonna grab my medical equipment and help the injured." Said Doug as she headed towards the fire engine
Jean took a seat in his car.
Bingo walked up
"you ok Jean?." Bingo asked also shaken up
"yeah... my dad always told me there would be days like this... he was in the Gign." Said Jean
"learned from the best huh" said Bingo taking a sip of water and taking a breath
"Mhm..." Said Jean
Bandit came up behind bingo.
"This... I've never seen anything like this..." Said bandit
"Neither have I... I'm worried things are gonna get worse..." Said Jean
"ok buddy. I'll see you back at Mayberry..." Said bandit shaken up as he went to go speak with other supervisors.
"ok pops." Said Jean taking a breath and sitting back in his car that luckily hasn't blown up gta style
"great job out there Jean.. see ya at home." Bingo said following behind bandit
After clearing the roads and speaking with supervisors he decided to call off so he can take his car to the police mechanic
"south David is gonna be code 4 all units heading back to hq" Jean said into the radio
Dispatch: 10 -4 clear for 10 7 (going off duty)
Jean pulled in his beat up lapd explorer into the police garage
"wow!" The mechanic exclaimed at the sight of the beat up
"I'm sure you can guess why my explorer is riddled with bullets.." Said Jean
"oh yeah I just saw what happened on the news! Is everyone ok?" The mechanic asked
"yeah except for the guys that were shot" said Jean
"Damn..." Said The mechanic
at a gang house a few days later*
3 leaders of a Mexican set that was responsible for the shootout gathered and planned out an operation to intimidate law enforcement.
They went by Killer, Ripper, and Gutter
Killer was the senior most. Ex army as well.
They were sophisticated, cold and collected but still vicious
"I know what we can do to scare the cops into backing off.." said Killer
"And what's that homie?" Gutter asked
"There is a neighborhood. Full of Australians. Some of them have prices on their heads due to them being high ranking law enforcement. One of our boys were able to get pictures of them. It's a community on a hill overlooking the city. They always gather on weekends it seems... so I'm thinking if we do a drive by on some of them... it'll show that the gang will always resist... no matter what or where... even if we don't kill a cop we'll at least get one of their loved ones... we have these special bullets... the cartel uses them. they're coated with a lethal poison." said Killer
"once we go after these fools you know there's no turning back right... Good number of Aussie fools in la are armed to the teeth. They're Scared of civil unrest. Ready to defend their property to the last inch of their life." Said Ripper
"I'm aware that's why I have a plan." Said Killer
"And what might that be?" Gutter asked
"We haul ass outta here. Head to Mexico with the money we'be gathered"

After more planning the gangsters grabbed their rifles and began the head towards Mayberry.
"remember a lot of these fools are armed with batter weaponry. Even some of the women. Just blast and drive as fast as you can." Said killer reiterating the point his friend made
Ripper and gutter nodded. As they approached.
Everyone was outside talking and laughing. Muffin,socks and hunter sat on the grass near the side walk talking. and then a black car approached. When it got closer Jean saw it.
"Hm... illegal tint..." Said Jean to himself as he closely watched the cad
Bluey snapped a photo of the tags. The gangsters didn't notice.
"Ok I see some of them." Said ripper

BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
"EVERYONE GET DOWN!" Jean yelled as everyone ducked.
A bullet whizzed past Jean's head
Jean heard cheering from the car. As it drove away full speed. Then he heard Bluey let out the most bloodcurdling and agonizing shriek. Jean turned around and saw hunter,muffin and socks all of them bleeding on the floor unconscious... they had been shot
"OH MY GOD NO! STRIPE! LUCKY! RUSTY!" Jean yelled in horror almost fainting at the sight
Rusty, lucky stripe ran out of their houses guns in hand.
"HOLY CRAP! INDY CALL 911! KEEP THE KIDS INSIDE! MUFFIN,SOCKS,AND HUNTER ARE SHOT!" Rusty yelled as Indy grabbed the phone to call 911
"OH GOD. OH MY GOD. TRIXIE!" Stripe yelled
with bingo and bandit*
They are in the garage checking Making sure the swat truck was in good condition, which it was when they got the call...
Dispatch: Shots fired 129 Mayberry street 2 adults 1 minor wounded.
"oh my god." Bingo said in shock and fear, her heart sinking
"10-4 swat en route!" Bandit said into the radio
"We gotta get there fast!" Said loza as they rushed to the scene

Bluey was on her knees. shaking and mumbling incoherently as sirens approached.
Stripe and trixie tried to keep their composure
Doug and a team of firefighters along with 3 ambulances alongside bingo and bandit arrived.
A helicopter flew over
"all units! Search the area!" Bingo commanded
Bandit and bingo ran to Bluey
"Jean what happened?" Bandit asked trying not to panic
Jean had the most agonizing look on his face doing his best not to break down as he explained what happened.
"Bluey sweetheart. Just breathe. Everything is gonna be ok." Bandit said trying to keep bluey calm
"Bluey? Are you with us." Bingo asked as bluey began to go catatonic
Bluey had a blank expression in he eyes as she mumbled as tears poured down her face going deeper and deeper into shock
Doug and the paramedics checked the kids pulses.
"prepare the stretchers!" Doug told the other fire fighters and paramedics as her and other emt's rushed to aid socks,muffin and hunter
Hunter slowly opened his eyes. And felt the pain immediately and began to scream uncontrollably
"sh. sh. I know it hurts buddy... Your gonna be ok. Just stay with me." Said Doug trying to comfort the wailing pup
Hunter began to scream and beg for his mother
"it's ok buddy. Your ok." Said a paramedic as they carefully treated his wound
Hunter's vision began fading again as his screams turned into quiet groans of pain as he began passing out again
"...mmmm...mum...my..." Hunter uttered
The ambulances began to escort the wounded to the hospital.
As more sirens approached. Multiple unmarked cars full of heavily armed men with vests that had no insignia on them approached bandit
"Who's charge here?" The agent asked frantically
"Me and captain loza are the highest ranking officers here sir..." said Bandit a tear coming down his face holding in cries and screams of his own...
"Listen from the vehicle description given by the 911 caller. It belongs to a notorious street gang... these guys play by a whole different set of rules. They aren't afraid to kill women and chidlren and They're waging an all out war on our streets... they won't stop until cops are too scared to go to work." The Agent explained
"Oh my god..." Said bandit in fear
Bandit looked at Jean and and bingo comforting Bluey
"Are my family and friends at risk?" Bandit asked
The agent could tell he was related and gave bandit a sympathetic look
"Just have your family and kids lie low for now and stay safe. We got the neighborhood under surveillance." Said the agent
"ok sir. Thank you..." Said bandit quivering
"who was that?!" Bingo asked tears pouring down her eyes beginning to break down emotionally
"the feds... listen we'll talk about it right now. We gotta worry about the kids." Bandit tried his best to explain
Bluey slowly started to get herself together.
"b..bingo d..dad? A..are they g..gonna b..be ok?" Bluey asked shakily and painfully her heart in shambles
"Yes honey. Their strong. They'll make it" said bandit kneeling down and hugging her right
Stipe comforted trixie as she sobbed shedding tears himself trying to keep it together
Lucky stood on his porch not able to look at the scene
"...why... why our community?" Lucky asked himself
Lucky had his wife Winnie and His daughter destiny inside
He loved hunter like a nephew and he loved socks and muffin as well
Bandit looked at them, hugging Stripe and Trixie
"we're here for you guys." Said Bandit crying
"us too bro. Thank you." Stripe said as he hugged his brother
"I can't believe it. Hunter. Socks. Muffin. Listen if you guys needed anything I'll be at home." Said Rusty concerned about his family as well not sure if the gangsters will strike again
Chili ran out of her and bandit's house and ran to the scene. She sheltered in place when the shots began
"Chili!" Bandit yelled tears outing down his eyes
"I just heard the shots and the sirens and the screaming. What happened." Chili asked panicking
Bandit cried harder as he explained what happened.
Chili began to cry as her and bandit went back to Bluey and the others.
Chili hugged Bluey
"I can't believe this happened..." Said chili breaking down
"...Why us... Why..." Said Bluey crying even more hugging Chili as chili held her
Jean sitting on the porch steps starting to break down himself.
Loza sat on the sidewalk. Bandit sat next to him.
"...I don't know who targeted this community... this community we all built... i swore to you all it would be safe... I swear bandit... we're gonna find who did this..."
"Thank you mate... we sure as hell will.." Said bandit wiping his tears and taking his helmet off
The 2 friends hugged as Doug returned
"what's going on?! Are they gonna be ok?" Bluey asked panicking
"yeah. But There's A big problem" Doug said sorrowfully
"what is it." Bingo asked
"the bullets were laced bullets. Laced with a lethal concoction of poison. The dr's have luckily Pulled out the bullets. But a good amount of poison is in their blood and bodies." Said Doug
"what does this mean?" Bluey asked with concern
"it could take months of recovery time." Said Doug
"ok. Thank you so much Doug." Bluey said relived that they would be ok.
"don't mention it guys. I'll always be here to help." Said Chloe
Bluey gave chloe a weak smile As she drove home.
She then Doug pull into Chloe's driveway as she and max came out in a panic. Doug explained to them what happened as they both cried and hugged Doug
"the dr just called... We gotta go the the hospital." Said Jean
at the hospital*
"mr and mrs heeler. Thank you for coming." Said the dr
(Stripe and trixie had a different dr)
"how long is recovery gonna be..." Bluey asked
"about 6 months." Said the dr
"what are the symptoms of the poison." Jean asked wiping away his and bluey's tears.
"seizures,vomiting,weakness and dizziness.
But I'm prescribing some medications that will help him heal faster." The dr explained as he presented the medication.
Bluey and Jean looked at each other.
"thank you dr." Jean said respectfully
"don't mention it." The dr said happily
Bluey and Jean went to the hospital room where the kids where resting.
Stripe and trixie and some of the others were there.
"hey everyone. Thank you for coming." Said Bluey
"your welcome Bluey" said snickers with a smile on his face
"don't worry about it Bluey. You'll always have our support!" Said rusty
"I'm so glad they're gonna be ok." Said Chili relived.
"me to. I can't believe someone could have the hate in them to do this.." Said Bandit sickened
"I know. Only cowards could hurt innocent children." Said Indy
"max is really sad. Him and hunter are best friends." Said Chloe as she held a
"I'm worried about how this is gonna effect all of our children emotionally and mentally..." said Bluey
Socks opened her eyes...
"where am I? Are hunter and muffin ok?" Socks asked wincing in pain when she tried moving
"Easy does it rock socks! Everyone is fine. You guys are in the hospital." Said Stripe
Socks turned her head as saw hunter and muffin in their hospital beds.
The dr walked in
"oh hey looks like someone is awake!" The dr said happily
"thank you for helping my cousin and sister." Socks said thankfully
"your welcome sweetheart. Your only gonna have to be here for a while longer." Said the dr
The dr further explained to them what happened
"are we gonna be ok?" Socks asked
"yes. It may take a while to recover but the poison symptoms will be a rarer and rarer the more we treat you guys." The dr explained
"thank goodness." Socks said relieved that everyone would be ok in the end
Jean was happy to know that the kids were recovering. But deep within him a rage began to burn in his soul. A need for justice. And even. Revenge...
